"Rinconcito Mexicano is our favorite Mexican spot north of Homestead. If you’re coming here really hungry, order a combo platter. The number two comes with two of everything (tacos, gorditas, sopes), as well as a quesadilla chilanga. It’s under $20, too. Service is fast and sweeter than the giant conchas you can pick up at their bakery in the corner of the dining room. We’ve had better, but save one for tomorrow. "For over 15 years, Mi Rinconcito Mexicano has served no-frills Mexican food in an equally low-key and functional space. Dining here is not about the ambiance or decor but strictly about the flavors and who you’re enjoying your wallet-wise meal with. Patrons love the tacos, the enchiladas, the queso fundido, and the numerous vegetarian options, such as the veggie burrito and a quesadilla made with zucchini, bell peppers, mushrooms, and onions.
