BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! KINDEST MAN EVER!! I was dehydrating in the parade on Halloweeen and he was so kind and accommodating! Brought out chairs for my friends and the cheese foam is so good! And he gave us candy despite being college kids💕

Came here for first time. Had one drink each me and my husband. We liked it so much that we asked for round two 😬. Kevin at the cashier is so nice and welcoming. Now we will be coming here often , regardless that we have to drive from Brooklyn

Mi Tea is the best Bubble tea place in Manhattan,Ny. Kevin, the owner is such a nice guy, great host, so warm & welcoming. So of course the customer service is outstanding. I love the Orange Squash & my daughter loves the Kiwi lover. It has fresh fruit sliced in your drink. Highly recommend in Nyc.

Best bobba and customer service in the city! This is a hidden gem and I’m glad I discovered it before it becomes more popular (it’s one of the only few places I think deserves a line out the door). On top of that, it’s very reasonably priced for the area it’s in.

Recently went here with some of my friends. Had an amazing time. Kevin, the owner, is the absolute sweetest. He knows how to make a drink! There's a comfy couch with stuff animals to relax.

One of my new favorite boba places in NYC! The shop is small but super cute! I ordered the Fruit Lust with boba and it was delicious. The boba (super generous with the amount) was the perfect chewiness, and the tea was very flavorful and the right amount of sweetness. The owner was super nice and friendly throughout my entire visit. He asked how my day was and gave me lots of advice since he knew I wasn't from the area. You can tell he truly cares about his customers and lots of customers were consistent customers. Highly recommend this place and would definitely come back when I visit!

Stopped here right before they closed and the owner is so nice! When he took my order, he was asking how my day was and my plans for later. When my drink was ready he even handed it to me himself and told me to taste it to make sure it was to my expectations. The space is small, so definitely take your drink to go. I got the all fruit tea with aloe. The drink was citrusy and I could taste the tea. I'd definitely come back here!

Super small shop! Not a lot of seating so better for takeaway. Was able to stop here for a quick drink before my flight and opted for the Grapefruit Breeze at 70% sweetness. I loved that it had grapefruit bits and was the perfect amount of sweetness, grapefruit flavor, and depth of tea flavor that I like! One of the workers, maybe owner? was super sweet to help me bring my luggage down the stairs when he saw me struggling trying to juggle a tote bag, my luggage, a drink in hand, and also a pizza box, lol. 5/5 service for that alone but def try this place out! This is a great spot to grab a refreshing drink. I came here with a coworker while strolling around Wash Sq Park during lunch break. The owners are husband and wife, and are incredibly friendly, warm, and encourage asking questions! This was my first time here, so I loved that they explained things in detail and gave recommendations. I got the fruit lust tea at 50% sugar (recommended). It was delicious, and there's real fruit inside. Next time I'll go with a lower sugar amount (I don't like my drinks sweet) and add a topping. Prices are comparable to other tea/boba shops around here, and the quality of the drink is definitely worth the cost. I'll definitely be back and will bring friends and family.

The store is small but very cutely decorated. I got the Grapefruit Breeze (as recommended by the employee) & it was amazing. The tea is strong & the grapefruit flavor tasted so fresh. They even put real grapefruit slices in it. They also gave a perfect amount of boba (not too much, not too little). To top it all off, the cashier (who I assume is the owner) was the absolute sweetest man & he was super nice. Will 100% be coming back

I typically don't review bubble tea places because I just get taro slushies everywhere I go and have no real authority, but the customer service at this Mi Tea blew me away! My friend and I stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon. The shop is tiny and has a small seating area that can seat about four people. If we had either asked the cashier or read the smaller menu to the left of the larger one, we would have seen that taro was an option, but we did not. I got a cheese mango slush ($7.45) and my friend got a classic milk tea ($5.25). For every customer, the cashier really makes sure that your drink is to your preference. He treats everyone like royalty. Once your drink is made, he asks that you try it in the shop to see if any adjustments need to be made. For example, my friend ordered 30% sugar, and he checked in with him to make sure it wasn't too sweet. I have never seen this level of customer service at a bubble tea place, so he is just being an amazing human and doing things right! I would highly recommend supporting this Mi Tea if you're in the area.

The person who took my order was so sweet. They were so welcoming and kind. Very refreshing. I got the fruit lust. It was pretty good I got 50% sugar and it's still a bit sweet for me (so take that as you will). And it came out to $7.50 with the tapioca But overall very refreshing and delicious and I will definitely be back here for the service alone the man behind the cash register made me feel very comfortable. Next time I'm gonna try the mango slush. The space is really small with two tables but still super cute vibes.

I got the orange/passion fruit bubble tea and it was delicious! My grandson got the brown sugar milk tea which was also amazing! I have been to other bubble tea stores but this tea was the best one I have had. Doesn't hurt either that the staff is super welcoming, decor is cute and I have to say I love the cups the tea comes in. Highly recommend!

I love this chain of bubble tea stores and always frequent it every time they are available. This specific location is honestly one of the best! A great selection of flavors and their boba itself is delicious in its signature brown sugar syrup. I actually want to give them an extra shout out this time because that night we also had a cup of bubble tea from a competitor store since we didn't realize we were going to be going there and to not be rude I decided to wait outside for the rest of our party to order their drinks from Mi Tea. Regardless of that, they welcomed us in to have a seat and hang out. The seating area is small but very cozy. The service is A1 and the drinks are some of the best. I always order the Passion Fruit & Orange Juice and my partner likes the slushes (Grape and Strawberries are his recommendations). If you like cheese foam, theirs is yummy. Almost like drinking a good cheesecake. Highly suggest this place over the others in the area.

The owner is super friendly and passionate about his tea! Service is top tier and he even shared with me some tea from his "secret stash" that him and his wife share which was really naturally sweet and smooth! I told him I like black tea and he recommended I try the formusa Formusa black tea with cheese foam and boba - 3/5 the tea was nice and light and sweet enough at 30% sugar ( I usually get 100% at other shops but he usually gets 0% and I was like I do like sweetness... lol) the cheesefoam by itself was one of the best I had! Lightly salty, creamy and light. I think overall it adds a nice milkiness but since I love milk ones I'd probably want to try the milk version and also have the cheese foam on top to be perfect The first few boba had a nice sweetness but in less than 10 minutes it quickly became bland and I guess went into the drink. Pearls below average, I think they need to marinated/ cooked in the brown sugar longer

I tried the fruit lust coconut water (added aloe and lychee jelly), tasted like a summer day in a cup. Kevin was so kind and very attentive:) Place is cozy and small, well worth the visit! Will be back again

The reviews weren't lying when they mentioned how sweet and personable the shop owner is! My sister and I came in on a hot day wanting something refreshing and were greeted with a big smile. The drinks here are perfectly refreshing and pretty unique; they do a lot of interesting fruit tea combos. Definitely one of the best tea shops in the city. Highly highly recommend you stop by and try for yourself

Had the most lovely experience at Mi Tea. The ordering process was simple and easy, and the service was very pleasant. The tea was delicious and the boba was the perfect size. Great price for what you get as well! Would definitely recommend Mi Tea to all tea and boba tea lovers!

Service was top tier. Ambiance was also great for a small group like 3-4 people inside. We had taro (which i find not that creamy/nutty but the sweetness and taste is enough for me, its the texture that I am not that satisfied). And Grapefruit breeze. It tasted like a cocktail but no alcohol although the aftertaste gives you the citrusy punch.

Was walking around the city on a hot weekend and came here on a whim. Tiny, but cute little spot with maybe two very small tables inside. It's a pretty standard boba place with teas, slushees, and some specialty drinks. I do like that they have cheese foam tea, which not all boba places offer. You also can customize sugar and ice levels. I ordered a cold jasmine cheese tea with 30% sugar. Refreshing and light with perfect foam. I also ordered a mango slushee without cheese foam. Super refreshing and tasted quite fresh - not artificial tasting whatsoever. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely be back.

We got the cheese-covered heavy roasted oolong tea and the strawberry slush. We got to customize the sugar and ice for the tea and the sugar for the slush. Service was very fast - we received our drinks within 3 minutes of ordering. The roasted oolong flavor was quite strong, which was appreciated and the cheese complemented the flavor. The slush with 0% sugar was still quite sweet, so get the 0%! Overall, cute decor, fast and polite service, and very fair prices for bubble tea!

This is a great bubble tea spot! They have a large variety of drinks on the menu and a cute interior with 2 small tables. The best part about this place is the staff - the person we had on a Friday night was extremely nice and helpful! He gave lots of tips on what drinks and customizations to get and was very approachable with questions. As someone who loves tapioca pearls, Mi Tea had an awesome ratio of bubbles to drink. This place also gets a bonus in my books for having default dairy-free classic milk tea.

2nd time coming to this bubble tea shop in my week stay in NYC; and there are two good reasons why: the FRUIT LUST and the GRAPEFRUIT BREEZE! The owner recommends them strongly, and I'd like to think he has never been wrong in his life when it comes to boba. The first one is a fruit cocktail goodness that you won't notice when you finish it, and the second is going to be a real treat if you have nothing against grapefruit. Whenever you are in the NYU area please come and enjoy these little treats!!! The owner and his wife are really cool too, so say hi to them for me!!

This is a solid 4.5 stars! Excellent customer service, good location, nice variety, and they do a lot with a small space. Let's cover the basics... yes they have dairy free milk alternatives! No, the cheese foam can't be dairy free but I hear it's amazing and tastes like liquid cheesecake. They can adjust the sugar on almost any drink! And they have different bases like milk tea, regular tea, a slushie/smoothie situation, and a juicy tea base! They also have interesting and unusual flavors and multiple varieties of toppings! This place is super small so don't count on finding a place to sit. There are only 1 size cups (22 oz) which was unexpected and impacted my ability to count my calories correctly! Whoops! They also require walking up steps (inside the store) and I don't think there is a bathroom. A solid bubble tea spot! Seems ideal for cold tea on warm days. I get the impression that many of their drink flavors are most refreshing with ice.

As someone who loves to try all the new bubble tea places | come across, Mi Tea has to be my absolute favorite. There was a location in Forest Hills that sadly closed down, so I decided to try this one-and it was the best decision I could have made. The owner is incredibly friendly; he personally makes the drink for you and lets you taste it right there to ensure it's perfect. Why settle for anything less than the best? I highly recommend the fruit teas, especially the Kiwi Lover and Fruit Lust with tapioca boba. They're made with real fruit, not just syrup flavoring like other shops. This place even lets you customize the sugar level and make any other adjustments. It's hands-down the best bubble tea experience I've ever had!

I really wanted to like this place so badly. Our friend recommended we try so we trekked out here. The person at the counter was really nice. I said I wanted something creamy and he recommended the taro milk tea. I added boba to it which he said was a good choice. He also said the "fruit lust" was his best seller so I ordered that as well. My boyfriend ordered the grapefruit breeze 0% sugar. I was quite disappointed with the taro milk tea. I did ask for creamy and this for sure is definitely a 'creamy' consistency but it's a thick corn starch-like consistency with taro flavor. I guess I should've said 'milky'. The boba is small sized (pearl sized) and tasteless, not what I prefer/like but to each their own. He offered to add some oat milk to water down the thickness but I refused because I knew it was a dead drink already and would go in the trash. Bummer The grapefruit breeze and fruit lust were still very sweet even at 0% sugar and both tasted very artificial. Super bummer! Cute little place though!

Good service good tea. Had the Formosa milk tea with boba at mid level sugar. I must say that this is the first time the milk bubble tea haa the right sweetness. I am not saying that even a mot sugary would be fine, but this was perfect. The guy at the counter was super nice.

Very cute little boba shop that seems to be known for their cheese foam as it was featured prominently on their menu. In terms of non cheese foam drinks, the honey peach jasmine tea was delicious and not too sweet. The coconut milk w mango jelly had interesting milk flavor that wasn't too coconut-y, although the mango jelly was yummy (and not made w real mango). Really good customer service, since the owner seemed to be able to tell it was our first time there he wanted to make sure we liked the drinks before we left. The vibes are nice although the shop is quite small but seating area is cozy

Choose from your loose leaf tea, fruit tea, and slushies. Their jam seems to be for their "cheese-covered" selections though. I had the *Cheese-covered Heavy Roasted Oolong Tea* which came in a big tall cup, maybe 20 to 22 ounces. Tapioca pearl helping was rather generous. The were mildly bland but had a good firmness. I had it at 50% sweetness and the oolong tea did shine through. Service quick, polite and easy. I was on my merry way in no time!

I like Debutea the best out of all the bubble tea shops located in New York's Manhattan area. But Mi Tea is a close second, and a fantastic option if you're looking for a bubble tea shop that gives the best bang for buck. I had the classic milk tea with tapioca. I was surprised by the copious amount of tapioca the workers gave. The drink was decent, but nothing to write to home about. Unfortunately I couldn't find the option for an unsweetened drink using their ordering system. Thankfully the workers inside were friendly and accommodating when I asked for my drink to be unsweetened.

[NYC BOBA TOUR STOP #6] From the reviews for this place, I really really wanted to love it. That desire to love this store was only elevated when I saw how bougie-looking the inside was and how nice the person working the counter was (he brought your drinks directly out to you and was really patient with questions!!). However, service and aesthetics aside, I was quickly hit with a reality check. The drinks were super inconsistent. We're all (the four of us that got boba) in agreement that the boba was not great (they were too soft and flavorless). As for the teas themselves, the regular bubble milk tea was too watery and the peach oolong tasted like flavored skim milk. The mango pudding in the coconut milk with mango pudding made the drink a little above average, but in the end the drink was exactly what it was: milk with pudding. The two drinks that stood out the most were the Hong Kong milk tea and the mango slush with cheese foam. As other reviews have said, the HK milk tea here is really exceptional. It's got that strong tea flavor that you want when you get HK milk tea without being bitter. It's truly so much better than other HK milk teas I've had around the city! (However the boba that the person at the counter recommended to go with it was not exceptional. Did I mention the boba was bad.). The people? Great. The drinks? Less great, but I'd be willing to give them another shot in the future.

We came here spontaneously as we were in need of something refreshing on a simmering hot day. I almost missed this place, as it was tucked near a scaffolding. The store was also tiny and dark. I thought I stepped into a bar at first! The manager was super sweet and welcoming, praising me for ordering their recommended Honey Peach Jasmine Tea. The size was default large and they never asked for my sugar/ice levels so it was probably fixed. My hopes were high upon drinking it, and fortunately, it was refreshing and true to its name. I wouldn't recommend fruit teas with bubbles though, although their bubbles were soft and chewy! I love how they had actual petals in the drink, and everything tasted so fresh too. I would definitely recommend here for a quick pit stop for a cold fruity drink.

Fantastic drinks. Forgot to bring our lactaid otherwise we would have opted for their cheese foam. We got a more nontraditional drink with coconut milk and mango pudding. It was fantastic! We substituted the milk with oat milk (they also had soy and almond) and the flavors all blended together perfectly. It was so rich, and the coconut milk is a genius idea for a drink. Their mango pudding had such good consistency and a great level of sweetness too. This isn't a drink you can commonly find elsewhere, so I appreciate that we could try it here! The staff are friendly. The store is pretty small, and can hold maybe 4 or 5 people comfortably. I wish I could have tried their tea.

Solid boba spot! I got the Coconut Milk with Mango Pudding with added boba, which was quite the tasty combo. The coconut milk was not artificial tasting or watery at all (as is sometimes the case at other places), while the mango pudding added a nice sweetness and consistency and the boba was nice and chewy. Plus, it costs just over $5, which is a pretty good price. The staff are very friendly and the service speed was very fast. I ordered in the touch screen and got a text within minutes that my order was ready- super easy to use. My one complaint would be that I was never asked about my preferences for sugar or ice level, which is pretty important for a boba order. The shop itself is small with only two small tables inside, so it's more of a grab-and-go kind of place. Overall, Mi Tea is a great place to go for boba. They have a great selection of tasty boba items, so if you're a boba fan, you should definitely stop by!

Stopped by this boba place since it was the closest one to our dinner. The interior is cool and hip (neon light signs) but small (two small tables). I got the grapefruit breeze (0% sugar) and my friend got the rose oolong milk tea (50% sugar). Neither of us was impressed with our drinks. The grapefruit breeze was just okay - nothing special. My friend said her rose oolong milk tea tasted watered down. The employee was really friendly though!

I had the Formosa black milk tea with bubbles and 30% sugar. It was delicious. Best milk tea I've ever tasted in NYC which reminds me of Taiwan. The owner is exactly as everyone says--an unbelievably nice and attentive human being. He puts straws into the drinks for you! I would come here just for the high quality service (you won't get this anywhere else). Very detail oriented which is a huge plus considering that most bubble tea joints are staffed by bored 20 somethings who could care less about making a decent drink.

Loved the fruit drink options here! The cashier was also super knowledgeable about all the drinks and was able to recommend us based on our preferred flavor profiles. Great customer service and refreshing beverages!

My all time favorite bubble tea place in NYC! The tea has so much flavor and the boba is the perfect chewiness. I am from Bay Area where Boba shops are in almost every plaza. I was in NYC last week and craving for boba drink. I stopped in Mì Tea for a drink. It is a cute little store front, good customer service, and my drink was good. But next time I will ask for less sweet!!!!
