Miami Sound Bar is the newest hipster-chic cocktail bar inspired by Japanese hi-fi vinyl listening bars. I randomly stumbled upon it on a walk from Brickell to downtown and decided to check it out. The folks at the door were super nice. They explained that there was seating at the bar, and if that was full, we could sit at a reserved spot until the reservation arrived.
The bar is small and cozy. The thing I loved is that for the bar being so small and the DJ spinning right there, it wasn't too loud inside. My bf and I were sitting right in front of the DJ and the main speakers, and we could still speak to each other at a comfortable level.
The bartenders and servers did a good job of taking care of the crowd. They offer cocktails, wine by the glass, beers, and bottles of champagne. The cocktails are kinda pricey but very strong and tasty. They also have 2 Japanese-inspired snacks on the menu.
Overall, I really enjoyed my time here. It's the perfect spot for a date night or an outing with a small group of friends. I recommend making a reservation, which you can do on their website.
