If you are looking for something new in the area with breakfast pastries options, sweet or savory, then you have found your spot.
They have great, unique pastries inspired by international cuisines, particularly Mexican.
Nothing was absolutely wrong with this place, however, I didn’t think it was wow-worthy or that it deserved a 5-star rating. In other words, it’s not something that I’d wake up in the morning and say “damn, I wish I could go back and have one of those pastries”. The biggest issue I had is that none of the puff pastries had the freshness, flakiness, and buttery flavor that a good puff pastry should have.
As of now, it is a happening spot, so you should expect a 20-30 min line, be there very early, or later when they are out of most of their pastries. Most of the pastries are $6-8, which, for what you get, might be on the higher side, but not too out of range.
Definitely worth trying so you can be the judge. And please let me know if you have a different opinion.
