"The Christmas Day pre-fixe menu at the Grand Bohemian Hotel’s Mico starts around lunch and will be a four-course feast. Expect the typical Argentinian flair with a backdrop of live music. On the menu is a caramelized onion and brie tartlet and mains like roasted salmon, vegan paella, and lamb loin. Round it out with a mille-feuille or a seasonal gingerbread cake with chai creme brulee. The all-out, grand design is notably striking here, full of chandeliers, red velvet, and floral prints galore." - Kayleigh Ruller

Perfect experience. My girlfriend and I came for a quick bite and Kallie took absolutely wonderful care of us. From the initial greet to the step out of the door we were treated like royalty. Food was spectacular but will absolutely be back because of the service alone! 10/10 would recommend across the board!

This is a great restaurant with an Argentine inspired menu. We loved the food and the wine pairing. The staff members are polite and professional and are well-versed in the menu and make great suggestions. We had a great time!

We had an amazing experience at Mico. Two dinners and one brunch during our stay at the Grande Bohemian. The food is spectacular and unique. The ambience is fantastic. Live music each night and amazing drinks and desserts.

I really wanted to love this place! We’re new to Charlotte and have been exploring different restaurants in the area. While the hotel and restaurant are beautifully decorated, unfortunately, the experience fell short in several ways. The seafood board was a major disappointment. The ceviche didn’t taste fresh, the lobster was limp, and the “grilled” shrimp on the skewer arrived cold. When we ordered, the waitress assured us it would be served hot. The manager was attentive and helpful when we needed assistance, but that didn’t make up for the other issues. The food was pricey and portions were small. We don't kind paying more for a great dining experience. We decided to share the paella entree with scallops, which came with a $23 upcharge for just two scallops. The portion was small and arrived at room temperature. It seemed like the waitress put in the order at the same time as the appetizer, and it sat waiting until we finished. She had also assured us the portion was large enough to share, which it wasn’t. This was the second time we were misinformed. The waitress didn’t seem knowledgeable overall. For example, when I asked about Prosecco, she told me they didn’t sell it by the glass and instead recommended a Sauvignon Blanc, which is completely different. The night ended with a mediocre apple torte with ginger ice cream, supposedly made by their “in-house” pastry chef—who must have been on vacation.

Had a great time celebrating a birthday here. Everything was great and everyone was super friendly and professional. Kallie our server was so nice and made sure we had an excellent meal. Not to mention the chefs were on point and the food was prepared and presented just perfectly.

My wife and I dined at Mico, enjoying dishes like Lobster Bisque, Octopus, Salmon, and the standout Cowboy Ribeye with Chimichurri. The ribeye was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. Sides of Fingerling Potatoes and Brussels Sprouts paired beautifully with our meal, complemented by the Sparkling Sapphire cocktail and Argentinian Malbec. While the ambiance was stylish and service attentive, the staff felt a bit reserved, and the menu leaned more “Argentinian-inspired” than traditional. Overall, a solid 4/5 for great flavors and a modern vibe. The ribeye alone makes it worth a visit!

Google
It's was 80 inside. Not comfortable when eating a hot meal. Also the chicken they use for fajitas was something you would expect at a small strip mall Mexican lunch place not an expensive dinner meal, cook fresh chicken and cut it up for fajitas not the bagged scrap chicken sold by southern foods to fast food joints. Nowhere near worth the price we spent $70 no alcohol. Other Mexican locations in town on main much better quality

Yelp
I finally got to try MICO in uptown and it was delightful. The restaurant/hotel is gorgeous with moody lighting. Our server was attentive and was a great help with navigating the menu. The Caesar salad is beyond delicious, one of the best I have had. It's done the way a Caesar salad should be done. The fries were seasoned to perfection and crispy. The filet mignon skewers were so tender and flavorful. I wanted more. The Peruvian chicken Milanese was incredible. The fresh salad on top with the potato purée and gravy was surprisingly a great combo. I didn't drink this night but they have a super creative drink menu for those who want to indulge. Overall, I had a fabulous night here and I can't wait to be back again!! Xoxo, Ruthy

Yelp
Autumn was an amazing bartender! Her sparkle and charm made Xmas day extra special! Karen was extremely caring and we highly recommend Mico's a place to hangout for any occasion! Thank you for making our Christmas Day so memorable

Yelp
Had a prix fixe family-style menu. Wouldn't do that again as it didn't really work out. For example, served soup for 12 in three or four bowls (not large mind you, just a regular serving) that was then moved to small bowls using a teaspoon by each diner. Not the best experience by far, but not sure it's entirely their daily. Thinking they do better with individual meals.

Yelp
My sister celebrated her 39th birthday this past Saturday at Mico's. It was dinner for 5 people and we got there around 8pm for an 8:30pm reservation. We parked with valet for $28, which I thought was quite steep but the guys were pleasant and helpful. We checked in with the lovely hostess who had such a warm smile on her face. She even obliged in taking pictures of us. Shortly after, we headed to the dining room to be seated. The restaurant wasn't too busy for a Saturday evening so it almost felt like we had the place to ourselves. Our waitress came over and provided us with some menus and took our drink orders. I settled on hot green tea with lemon and honey. My sister and cousins got specialized cocktails/mocktails that were not on the menu. For our meal, my sister got the veggie paella, my cousins had the salmon and chips & dip, and I had sweet plantains and the truffle mushrooms. The mushrooms were so delicious, as were the plantains. I wasn't hungry so I opted for side dishes. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and the menu was priced moderately. The ambiance of the restaurant is also captivating. The lit up bar leading into the kitchen, the open space concept in the dining area, and the private dining room all add to the simplicity, yet uniqueness of the space.

Racquel T.

Yelp
Had 8oz steak with the chimichurri & plantains as a side for drinks I had a Bohemian Gold and Figgy Fashion. Everything is great. I really love the steak. The steak was tender, juicy very flavorful. The plantains were crispy. Very sweet inside. The most delicious plantains I have. We went for an engagement. My brother is happily engaged now!!!! Server was Mirta. She was excellent. The restaurant was so beautiful. Great for taking pictures. Drinks I had: Bohemian Gold - Very light and refreshing felt like something you could drink with your meal and have a light taste figgy fashion - Very strong, you will taste the liquor in this drink citrusy Overall 10/10 restaurant.

Yelp
This place in itself is a vibe! The interior decorator nailed it!! The colors are vibrant and yet not over powering! We had the pleasure of being greeted by Horace for breakfast and he was great! Very attentive to not only us but others who were also dining at the restaurant. I even heard another patron say how excited she was to get him again so I knew we were in great hands! Horace recommended the egg frittata so I tried it. Now I absolutely love egg whites and the flavors came together very well but I will say if you are one who has a texture issue you might not like it that much. The consistency was much like egg custard if that makes sense. I also had a vanilla latte to accompany it along with some water. I really hope the next time we visit MICO we get Horace again!

Yelp
5 star review! Everything was impeccable...from the service to the food. We had a reservation for a party of 2 on a Sunday evening. When we arrived, we were promptly greeted and taken to our table. The restaurant was not very full but became a little busier as the evening went out. Our server, Kallie, offered flawless service the entire time we were there. The flow of the food between courses was just right. We opted to take advantage of the Queen's Feast Restaurant week deals and also ordered drinks. All of the food was delicious from appetizer to dessert. Mico is located in the Marriott Grand Bohemian Hotel. We opted for valet parking but were able to get a discount because we dined in the restaurant. After dining, we were able to view the rooftop bar. It was equally impressive. I definitely plan to return again soon and try some other menu items.

Yelp
Modern Mediterranean & Bohemian Excellence. This restaurant is beautiful. It's accidentally dark purple with beautiful white gloss chandeliers. Its impressive. Wine collection is on display in the center of the restaurant. Kudos to you Duane Fernandes! This fantastically crafted menu is genius making Mico in Charlotte a must! Drawing inspiration from Argentinian tradition, Fernandes, a distinguished chef, orchestrates a symphony of flavors that resonate globally. From the Pampas Spiced Fried Oysters to the simply prepared Day Boat Catch, each dish is proof of his culinary skills. Mico promises a captivating journey through diverse, globally inspired flavors! It delivered on every aspect of its promise!

Yelp
We went for Nye Terrible food that was served cold The staff was all over Floor was dirty and inspite of us asking for it to be cleaned it was not clean and sticky and spotty We just left as soon as we cld What a terrible waste of money and time

Laquisha N.

Yelp
I loved the decor! My waitress Ashley was very accommodating and offered alternatives. The Manager was very friendly and attentive. It was a little cold but I can respect the temperature with illness season we are in now! Valet was great too! They were apologetic for the long wait!

Jamal J.

Yelp
The food was delicious. I loved it. Everything was seasoned great. The service was amazing. The atmosphere was peaceful and very upscale.

Yelp
Yummy spot in uptown Charlotte!! We went here for my moms birthday on a Sunday night and it was pretty quiet overall. There was a panthers game at 4PM though so trying to leave uptown after that was quite annoying. There is some street parking, but if you decide to valet they do not reimburse you even if you are with the restaurant. I had the steak which was delicious along with one of their signature cocktails. We shared the Brussels and potatoes with blue cheese which I really enjoyed. Their ceviche was probably my favorite item that we tried and would recommend people try out!! Overall, a nice spot in uptown. The service was pretty good but the space is so big it was hard to get my servers attention when I needed anything.

Yelp
My husband and had a wonderful "staycation" at the Bohemian. We booked a reservation for Mico's as it is conveniently located downstairs. The setting is very intimate. The staff is always amazing. I have to say that it can be annoying when non guests use the restaurant as a cut through to exit the hotel. It was a busy Saturday and the staff tried their best to deter the activity. We enjoy the changes to the menu during each visit. We tried the shrimp and Polenta which is a nod to shrimp and grits. This dish was the star of the table. It was just full of flavor and plated so perfectly. We also ordered the Peruvian chicken, it was lackluster in comparison to the shrimp and polenta. The meal, staff and drinks were amazing. We tried the bread pudding for dessert, I am not a fan. A high price for a not so great dessert. Overall, we had an amazing meal and we will return again as this restaurant is one of our favorite spots to dine.

Allen U.

Yelp
Do not go to this restaurant. The staff is disrespectful and incompetent. Hostess is rude, have to tell waitress to fill water, and food sits in the window getting cold instead of going to the customer. Best news is the hotel will say "sorry you had a bad experience we will try and do better next time."

Cher N.

Yelp
My friend highly recommended this spot for dinner so I was down to try while I was in town. The location offers valet which also includes validation which is half of the costs so instead of $24 you pay $12 for parking. We had reservations and arrived a little early but we were seated quickly. Our waitress Mirtha was so nice and helpful during the whole experience. We ordered a the lump crab app and drinks to start. It came out super fast and we were happy about that. For dinner I ordered the salsa verde salmon which was so good. It also had three pieces of shrimp and mussels each to compliment the salmon. My friend ordered the White Carolina Shrimp and she said it was so good. Our waitress Mirtha was the best! She made the whole experience worth it and we enjoyed it so much! We will go back soon so I can try brunch!

Charm G.

Yelp
So I will start on a positive note for my most recent experience. We went here for brunch last weekend and we have always had a great experience at this establishment. Mirtha was very attentive and extremely kind. The service is always superb and the staff is always courteous. The only difference this time was the food. I was highly disappointed in the quality of the food. From an appearance perspective the food looked spectacular but it was extremely bland and the potatoes were so hard I could barely chew them. From the taste and texture they had been sitting for quite some time...like over 24 hours. My daughter was also disappointed so it wasn't just me. We just knew this brunch was a sure shot based on our history with this restaurant but it was a total flop. I don't know what changed but this is not the brunch I knew and loved. This was a total waste.

Yelp
Everything about this restaurant is just beautiful and elegant. To the artwork on the walls and the open glass wine cellar, just a gorgeous restaurant to dine in. Had the privilege of dining here for a Kentucky Derby themed birthday party. With that being said, of course had to order an mint julep! Also tired one of their menu cocktails, Bohemian Bourbon Punch which was very good. The cinnamon stick was the perfect addition to the drink and great quantity of bourbon . So don't drink it fast lol. Also the omelette was very tasty. Added veggie sausage to the omelette as they do not have turkey or chicken options for meat dietary customers. We had an wonderful and very friendly waitress, Doria, who was perfect. She worked our whole 12 person party all by herself. Had all of our orders on point and did not slack in one area. She was the best. If you are going with a big party, request her to be your server. We also sat right in front of the open kitchen so I was cool to see they preparing the food.

Darcy D.

Yelp
This restaurant is BEAUTIFUL. The decor is perfect, and the staff was very professional and nice. We ordered several appetizers, all of which were delicious! The one thing that we were disappointed with was the meat. My friend ordered a steak medium, and it came out more than well done. They offered to take it back, and the second steak came out slightly less cooked, but still definitely not medium. I ordered the day catch. The fish was extraordinarily dry. I couldn't eat it, but the accompaniments had great flavor. I wasn't very hungry after the appetizers, so I just ate around the fish. I am giving this a 3 star review because for the price I'd expect the meat to be cooked properly, but I'd definitely come back here to give it another try.

Chelsea D.

Yelp
I love coming here! Their food is immaculant! We ordered a few things! The fish is wonderful! Their ceviche is also good as well! Their Brussel sprouts are some of the best I've tasted. Our server was kind and patient it the ambiance was my favorite. It was beautiful on the inside! Perfect for birthday dinner. They have a roof top bar too that is nice! Highly recommend!

Jeremy L.

Yelp
My wife and I celebrated my birthday dinner on Saturday. The scallops and lamb were amazing. We loved our amuse bouche, and the desserts were amazing. Fantastic service and great atmosphere.

Hania A.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant in Uptown Charlotte! Great spot for a date night or a "day off from work" lunch. The bar is gorgeous as well. We came straight from the Spa at the same hotel. The service and food in my opinion didn't match the decor and vibe. We went for lunch and were seated immediately, which was nice. Our server Daija was ok, but she didn't seem too enthused to be at work. We wanted to order two dishes to split and share, and she took it literally to split the dishes onto 4 separate plates (some people may have liked that, but "foodies" like myself didn't get to capture to entire dish appropriately as you know our phones eat first lol). Plus this was my husband and not just a friend I was splitting a dish with. Anyhow, I did balmy best taking some pics and food was ok. The cheesesteak was probably the best; the Caesar salad with salmon could have been better (portion was literally 2 leaf lettuce pieces and salmon was undercooked). Lastly, our waiter brought out the check and didn't even ask if we wanted dessert or anything additional...so we paid and left. We didn't get dessert nor get a chance to try any drinks. It's a shame I have to give this spot only 3 stars (all which mostly go towards the decor). Hopefully it gets better.

Iman D.

Yelp
Mico is a great restaurant for a romantic dinner or celebratory outing! The drinks are amazing and the ambiance and service are even better. The ceviche with friend green tomatoes was AMAZING and the salmon was pretty good however I wish it was flavorful.

Scott C.

Yelp
Highly recommend. Great ambience, without being pretentious. The service was very good, and the food.... Impressive combination of richness with seasoning and flavor all while maintaining presentation. There was even a personalized note for our anniversary when we were sat at our table. I recommend the charred Spanish octopus, the ceased salad and the whole branzino.

Grant M.

Yelp
Sorry to say the food was average or below average. The cocktails were nice and the service was good but we were really disappointed especially at that price point.

Ashley F.

Yelp
This was my first time checking out Mico and it's been on my list for a while now. I was so happy to check it out for my friends birthday brunch. I'm a timely friend and arrived on time, way before anyone else so I sat at the bar and ordered a bloody mary. It was delicious and made just how I like. The bartender Wesley, was amazing! The decor inside is so beautiful and elegant. You almost don't even feel like you're still in Charlotte when you're inside. They also had an amazing live musician playing all kinds of music. I mean she had range, when I was leaving she was signing a Boyz 2 Men song! Super kudos to Mico for having diverse music for all kinds of people. And this musician was so talented and had the voice of an angel. At first I thought it was the radio, but it was this ultra talented singer. Loved this added element so much! Now, on to the food. I ordered the uptown waffle that came with spiced blueberry compote, candied pecans, strawberries and Chantilly cream. So so good! The waffle was nice and crispy. I also ordered the home fries and some eggs. Which I also enjoyed. My one small complaint is that I wish they had more meat options: turkey, chicken etc. I don't eat pork so another option would've been great. Otherwise, our server was amazing, so mad I can't recall his name. I was able to park nearby in a lot. There wasn't much street parking because of Sunday church service. But my friend that was there said she was able to valet for free. We had a great time and I'd definitely return. Such a gorgeous place!

Phoebe T.

Yelp
we can here as a group of five for restaurant week! you get to order three courses for a set amount of price. overall we were very happy with our food! my favorite would be their lobster bisque. their steak, even tho presentation wasn't really there, was actually the best main course! their chimichurri sauce was amazing! for dessert i got the angry brownie with pear sorbet. it's called angry brownie cause they added cayenne pepper. it does build up on your tongue but doesn't get too spicy that it overpowers the chocolate. our server was very nice and helpful. toward the end two of our waters had a bad taste and smell to it. as soon as we told our server he switched out all five of our waters! (it might've been the ice that got made the weird taste and smell). overall good place, beautiful decors and nice atmosphere. i think they have live jazz music on weekends.

Kevonna H.

Yelp
This was our second time at Mico's but the first time for brunch. The hostess, Karen was a delight, personable and friendly. I had the steak and eggs which were delicious. Eggs were a little bland. My husband had the waffle which I tried and was tasty. We also loved the free desserts!

Michelle F.

Yelp
*applause* I just had the most amazing and beautiful dinner at Mico last night with my boyfriend. It was our Pre-Valentine's Day dinner. We loved the look of the room with the art, chandeliers, and overall ambiance of the restaurant. We had fun fantasizing a fancy party in their big party room with the beautifully laid table and deep gem tones with elegant food. We sat down and our waiter helped us pick wines for our meal selections and we tried everything! Our favorite thing we ate was the Queen Scallops & Chilean Slow Roasted Pork Belly. We also enjoyed the potato gratin and the little biscuits and stuffed pepper as part of our starters. The Caesar Salad and ceviche tasted good and looked pretty but we felt it wasn't at the same depth of flavor as everything else. We had great service and I'd be happy to go back. Very romantic and special dinner for a once in a while splurge.

Veleria L.

Yelp
What a cute place! The ambiance is amazing ... very Peruvian. Kallie was our waitress and she took the time to go over the specifics of the menu and share her favorites. We went there for lunch and got the chips and dips appetizer. It had 3 different dips, an avocado & 2 other ones. One was a little spicy but I couldn't stop eating it. The deep fried pita chips with a little sea salt ... wow!! They have carrots, celery and radishes. My friend got the chicken salad sandwich. It was so tasty!! It's not your normal mayo based chicken salad, it's done with a different base and not as "wet." It has more chicken in it and the seasoning was amazing. I got the salmon and it was perfectly cooked. It's a great restaurant for lunch and I will definitely go back.

Eduardo F.

Yelp
NOTE: This is NOT an Argentinian restaurant! The menu has more surf than turf. There's no typical Argentinian food and there's too much spice going around. Argentinian food isn't that heavy in spicy and neither garlic. You can't bring a vampire here, they love garlic. I couldn't eat the Yucca, you only tasted the garlic. The steak was meh, the dessert was interesting but nothing special.

Vince J.

Yelp
I had brunch on New Years Eve. Horace our waiter was wonderful with suggestions off menu as our 1st time there.Started with House Charo donuts which were amazing plain or adding Chili Chocolate sauce. I had steak & eggs was yummmmmmy.. ..my friend had Egg White Fritta & she said was purrrrrfect ...son had waffle as got loved whipped cream We both had an early New Years coctail...cocktail... the PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH. ..down so smooth !!! Presentation of drinks $ food was grrrrrrrreat plus delicious.... Will return soon....

Damarys C.

Yelp
Beautiful bohemian hotel. We enjoyed the stay, rooftop bar and the breakfast, delicious art!

Celeste D.

Yelp
I came here with my friends for their birthday. Food was GREAT. The atmosphere in this place was amazing. We had a great server who made sure we had everything we needed. Such a great experience. We got the Branzino whole fish. It was sooooo tasty!! We also had the fried oysters, ceviche, Brussels and parm fries. They gave them cute birthday desserts as well.

Carol T.

Yelp
Service was ok, food was ok, ambiance and esthetics very very nice. Our steaks were mediocre and the lobster bisque was bland. The music was nice

Lydia C.

Yelp
i had been wanting to eat here for a while, i'm glad i finally got the chance. i sat at the bar, and the service from.. nelson, i think was his name, forgive me if i'm wrong, was amazing. he had some customers who were a bit obnoxious but he had such a calm temperament. now, the food was incredible! i had the caesar salad & the pork belly & scallops. the caesar salad was fresh, crisp and everything it should be. the scallops and pork belly both melt in your mouth. so delicious! i thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, food and service here, and will definitely be back.

Randy G.

Yelp
Absolutely a beautiful place and located in such a great location in uptown. The breakfast here is a must! The chicken sausage, fresh eggs and perfectly food potatoes made my breakfast delicious. Now, the house made whipped butter and raspberry jam was so good that I ordered more toast. I then realized that the toast was grilled which added a fantastic crunch. Spectacular service as well. Definitely eat breakfast here!

Julia R.

Yelp
We had a delicious brunch to celebrate a friend's birthday! The place is absolutely beautiful, open and well decorated. Everyone was pleased with their food and they have a nice variety of options on the brunch menu. I had the Smoked Salmon tartines which were out of this world! There was the perfect amount of avocado and smoked salmon on bread that was so tasty. The drinks were all good, though pricy. The service was excellent and our waitress managed a big group really well. I would definitely go back to Micro again'

S C.

Yelp
Had an excellent meal with my family. Maha, our service was great and our food was delicious. The menu tends to change but we enjoyed the brussel sprouts, fried oysters, whole branzino, parmesan fries, shrimp and polenta, roasted salmon, and paella with scallops. The chocolate mousse cake dessert was ok, however the tres leche bread pudding was outstanding. Sol de verana cocktails were also amazing. Yes the food was great, but so was the service. We had a party of 8 and the mgr who assisted Maha checked on us periodically to make sure we were enjoying our experience. My only request is that they bring back the shrimp and grits that was on brunch menu years ago :)

Elizabeth S.

Yelp
Ambience and valet service are both 5 star. Food is just okay, The Branzino I ordered was "flat" as described by my former chef boyfriend, I just thought it was dry. His filet mignon was perfect! we both enjoyed it a lot, but skip the fried oysters as an appetizer. Service was enjoyable as well, starting with the valet, and then to the front desk, host, and server. Unfortunately they were only seating one open section of the restaurant, so 4 tables were seated directly next to each other while the rest of the restaurant was empty, but it's okay. Would return in the future, but i'd choose to order something different.

Julia H.

Yelp
Great! We liked the ambiance and service was good. We came around noon for brunch. There was a jazz band too

Jenny H.

Yelp
This is a very convenient location for those staying at the hotel. I have been many times and only had dessert. The dessert is always good and the service is always great! The decor in the restaurant is beyond beautiful! It is so well thought out, and very luxurious. This past time I had breakfast here, and it was one of the best breakfasts I have had. The breakfast I got consisted of toast, sausage, eggs, potatoes! The potatoes were crispy and seasoned! The eggs were fluffy! The jam that came with the bread was delicious! Our waiter was very engaging and like to chat and joke around! He was great for the morning time! I will always make an effort to come back here for breakfast now!

T S.

Yelp
Fun ambience for a date night. Food is generally very fun and tasty -- some nice seafood-oriented options in particular. As is so often true these days service can be very spotty. In our favor, my wife ended up with a free drink. But her Brussels sprouts never arrived nor did our 2nd sparkling water. And we waited and waited for our server Juan to remember we wanted dessert while he was across the room doing his side work toward the end of his shift. So he got 15% rather than 20%.

Tessa M.

Yelp
Let's start with the decor and ambience of the restaurant... BEAUTIFUL! From the bold wall colors to the art work to the furniture, the restaurant was a whole vibe. My husband and I came for Sunday brunch and were seated by the window at a two person table. The chairs were comfortable and were in great position to see the restaurant and people watch. I got a peep into their private room and it's just as beautiful with their flower wall mural. There also looks to be outdoor seating. Now to the food... When you're going for brunch, keep in mind that the menu is limited and not your "typical" breakfast/brunch good you may get at other Uptown restaurants. That was not an issue with us as we had looked up the menu beforehand. Before our food came out, we received complimentary mini cinnamon donuts, which I thought was very nice of them. We ordered the following: - Truffled mushroom and queso toast... This was delicious! The bread was toasted perfectly with a nice crust on the outside but still soft and chewy on the inside. I really enjoyed the variety of mushrooms and the homemade cheese balanced well with the richness of the truffle and mushrooms. - Steak n' eggs... Was not expecting the skirt steak to be as thick as it was when it came out. Because of this, it was a little harder to cut since we ordered it medium rare. Nonetheless, it was still delicious. Egg was cooked perfectly. We opted to swap the frites for home fries and glad we did because they were seasoned well and very delicious. - Acai bowl... I love a good Acai bowl! I've never had one with Greek yogurt like they had it and I was definitely NOT mad about it. The Acai and yogurt paired well and had enough balance with the granola and chia seeds. We also ordered a couple cocktails: apple of my eye and ginger bellini. My one wish was that the ginger bellini had more ginger flavor but if was still very tasty. Overall, we had a great experience. Our waitress was very friendly and checked in on us frequently to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. I would definitely like to return to check out their dinner menu.

Annie C.

Yelp
I came here for lunch on a weekday and the place was dead. We got seated immediately and I ordered the chicken salad sandwich with a side salad. The service was great and I loved the ambience of the restaurant. The decor was beautiful and it was a very boujie and upscale vibe. On the food side, the chicken salad was okay. It wasn't my favorite, and the menu was a little small. Would probably be better for dinner!

Lauren K.

Yelp
We dined at Mico for both breakfast and dinner. Where do I start? For dinner, the Lamb Meatballs are a MUST! The addition of the chickpeas and tomatoes blew this dish out of the water. The steaks were cooked to perfection. Lomo Steak is their Filet Mignon and Entrana is their Flat Iron Steak. Highly recommend getting BOTH the Truffle Fries and Crisp Brussel Sprouts - honestly the best I've tasted of both and that's saying a lot as they are my go-to sides. Definitely a pricey meal. Pretty much cost us the stay of one night but I do have to say it was worth it. As for breakfast, the Truffle Mushroom Omlet was light and delicious. It included truffle roasted exotic mushrooms, fresh herbs, goat cheeses (not strong flavor) and home fries. The Bohemian Breakfast was just as tasty. Your standard breakfast but still exceptional. Breakfast is served from 7am-10am and Brunch is served 10am-2pm - different menus offered.

Yelp
One of my new absolute favorite places in Charlotte. Beautiful restaurant inside and servers are very knowledgeable & professional. Some of the best food I've had in a LONG time! Located inside a hotel, but extremely welcoming atmosphere. We also tried the "Mico" cocktail & the Argentinian cheesesteak which blew my expectations away!

Yelp
Best filet mignon in Charlotte! Hands down. You can cut it with a butter knife. Octopus app is great too. Everything I've had here is excellent.

Yelp
Since they opened I have been meaning to get here and actually sit down & dine . I have been before to come sit at the bar for cocktails . We decided to come check them out for brunch . Please note you can park at the hotel and have your parking validated if you're going to have dinner here . Juan our server was the most delightful. Once we were seated Juan broke down the menu from top to bottom so we were pretty set on what we would be ordering . I ordered the stuffed French toast and the trade street sangria . My French toast was not only very dainty and pretty it was to satisfactory . I really loved my sangria as well . My guest ordered the chicken n waffles which they were not crazy about and was left wishing they had ordered what I had . Once we finished we took a ride up on the elevator to the 16th floor where their Bar Buho is located it's even more gorgeous than the downstairs dining and bar area . Perfect view of the downtown skyline as well. Oh trust I will be back here . Its a total vibe .

Yelp
I haven't wanted to review a place on Yelp in a while but Mico definitely inspired me after my visit. This place is overwhelmingly pleasing to all 5 senses. When you walk in the atmosphere screams luxury. I was already planning to come back for brunch. Now onto the drinks. The drinks ride the perfect line of being strong and tasty but not too sweet. My palate was stimulated by the fresh lemon that it made everything that much better. The peach flavored drink was delicious and if I had an Uber home I would've had 3-4 drinks. Food. My goodness. Surprisingly the charred octopus was like a scallop texture and the purée black beans that they laid in were a 10/10. The scallops could be cut with a fork if that tells you anything and the pork belly just melted in my mouth with a small bit a crunch. The ceviche was also delicious with the crunch of the fried green tomatoes 9/10 Let me not forget the Parmesan fries. I'm pretty sure I inhaled them. 10/10 again. The Yuca fries were an 8/10 because I didn't expect them to be doused in olive oil and the dipping sauce was not my fave but they were cooked well. I didn't taste the Carolina Shrimp but by dining partner said it was some of the best she had in her life. This place is unforgettable and I can't wait to go back. Happy eating!
