Food was great and amazing presentation. The burritos are especially filling and tasty. They have some amazing guacamole to start you off. The vibe was very nice. They do include mandatory 20% service charge for parties larger than 1. And a card fee for payments by card

The nachos were great. the kid's tenders and fries were really good. The watermelon ceviche was nice. The watermelon marinade was refreshing. The mussel were ok. The sauce tasted like canned tomato sauce with paprika. The calamari was good. The green and red hot sauces are damn good. The tomato salad was nice. Prices are great. Service was good.

I had a great time at this restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was really good—everyone was kind and quick to help. The food was delicious. The paella was full of flavor with tender seafood and perfectly cooked rice. The steak was juicy and cooked just right. I also tried the tacos—they were fresh, tasty, and had just the right amount of spice. The enchiladas were cheesy, saucy, and very comforting. Overall, a great place to enjoy a good meal. I’ll definitely come back!

Mictlán Mexican and Spanish Food is a true culinary gem. The service and customer care are top-notch — friendly, attentive, and always welcoming. The food is absolutely incredible — I highly recommend the paella and pulpo a la gallega, some of the best I’ve ever had! The place is spotlessly clean, and the atmosphere is vibrant and cozy, perfect for any occasion. Without a doubt, a place I’ll keep coming back to. Highly recommended!

Girl's night out here, and those birria tacos were amazing! The vibe was so chill and the art was gorgeous. Only thing? The waiters kept snatching our plates way too early – three times! We weren't done, and it wasn't even busy. Felt like they were trying to rush us out. Besides that, we had a blast.

Visited mid week for dinner. Got a table immediately. Place has a nice tequila and mezcal selection with some good cocktail options. Menu is what I call standard Mexican options. Food was very good and fresh, service was friendly. Loved the mole poblano!

The tacos were good and decent but I'd rather go somewhere else, I wont say here in this review, for tacos. If you know, then you know. I got the shrimp tacos and really liked the sauces that accompanied the table. Super spicy! Me gusta! Guacamole was chunky and the chips were fresh. I would definitely come back as they have an extensive menu. They also have plenty of options on the menu that is vegan for those friends who don't eat meat =) I appreciated the honesty of the waitress who steered me away from an item on the menu that she said wasn't the best, in her opinion. Muchos gracias! Oh yeah, if you roll with a dog, they are pet-friendly at the outdoor patio. Nice for people watching in the neighborhood.

Came here after trying a mediocre spot prior to this. Was looking for a stronger drink and better food to nibble on. We decided to go with the ceviche verde and drinks. Drinks were good but I really enjoyed the ceviche. It was little sweet from the apple with fish and octopus. I wanted order a mezcal so I asked for a mezcal recommendation. Since the waitress, Jennifer, didn't drink I asked if the other waiter drank. Boris, her father and owner, ended up bringing 3 bottles for me to try. Hilarious yet amazing service. I ended up picking the one I liked. We also ordered the lamb tacos which were huge and really tasty. Service was phenomenal and we unexpectedly had a great time. Will definitely come back with more friends so we can enjoy more of the food and company.

stumbled upon this place for what I thought was going to be a quick bite, but ended up being one of my favorite places that I grabbed food at with friends for my birthday week. The happy hour taco deals are crazy so make sure to stop by. My favorite was probably the taco al pastor and the guac was super fresh! The restaurant was also kind enough to give me a complimentary tres leche cake that ended up being the star of the show. Perfectly moist and the sweetness was not overbearing! The employees were super attentive and friendly, and ensured we were constantly taken care of. I would 100% come back in the future, and you should check it out if you are in the area!

There are zero people in this restaurant and I wondered if it was mobbed up but the food was ok and the waiter was hilarious and ran with my mobbed up bit. I hope I don't get taken out...

Came here for my birthday, they had great service and food. Staff was so nice and friendly. The atmosphere is great with hand painted murals and more space in the back of the restaurant smaller casual seating in the front as well. I don't know if they always do this but they gave me a piece of tres leche cake and sang happy birthday which was really sweet. I'd highly recommend and will be returning.

When you walk in you are greeted by positive hospitality and bright colors around the room. The monthly special drink for August including passion fruit was delicious and refreshing. I enjoyed the steak quesadilla and the churros. If it's your birthday they bring you champagne, shots, sparklers, and create a fun environment for you to enjoy the day!

Been here a few times, it's a hidden gem in the neighborhood. The food is pretty good and has been consistent. I will say the guacamole needs more salt, but I've really enjoyed the quesadilla as well as the Pescado tacos. I really like the mango salsa that comes on the Pescado tacos. The drinks are very strong and the flavors are powerful. I have noticed that service can be on the slower side and you might need to flag someone down, even when the restaurant is slower. The atmosphere could be a little more refined. Some of their decor is a little cheap. Overall, I really like this spot and I'm glad it opened in the neighborhood. I'll definitely be back. 4/5

Love this spot! Perfect for after work happy hour. They have a nice selection of flavors for their margaritas, and although some of them are too sweet for my liking, my requests to tweak the flavor level were always accommodated. Their guacamole was also very good. Haven't tried any of the other mains though, but will definitely check them out soon!

This place is near China town, their menu had the most vegan options I could find. It was incredible. They also have non vegan item. The staff was super nice, worked with what I requested to order. The ambiance is so cozy and festive. The prices are very reasonable for being in the city. Their food taste delicious, I sat at the table and ordered guacamole while I was waiting. It's the best guacamole I've ever had. The chips were good but could be much better. They were cold. I think they are pre made and it portioned out. Besides this everything we ordered has flavor, please try their hot sauce!! It's so spicy, pairs perfectly with all of their food. I will definitely be back.

I've been wanting to check out this new neighborhood spot that took over the old Fat Radish space. Finally got to do so tonight and had really high hopes, but sadly disappointed. Pros: Service was very friendly Enchiladas were tasty Prices are very reasonable Portions are quite generous Cons: Chips were stale The guacamole needed salt The Al pastor was very dry We ordered green sauce enchiladas but received red Forgot our Topo Chico until we reminded her I get it, it's a new restaurant starting out but honestly, we were the only table there and still had to ask for things twice. Again, she was very sweet and nice, but everything was very average. With all the amazing options in the neighborhood, it's hard to justify a second meal here despite wanting them to succeed. They don't have any beer or alcohol yet and hope to have a license within a month. That said, they're also not allowing byob, which could've been a good draw in. There's still potential but definitely needs work.

The chips in the nachos are small, making it hard to pick up the food. Was pretty good though, the server was very friendly.

This restaurant is amazing! Their mole and nachos are my favorite. Mango Margarita is unreal. The owner is very hands on and kind just like the staff!

The best word to describe my experience of this place is disappointment :/ Chicken burrito was really dry and the chicken was burnt. Shrimp burrito tastes like tomato paste ‍ They didn't count the drinks for the happy hour price in actual happy hour :/ Cockroach in the restroom downstairs (next to kitchen) The check was very high for such a place. And service was slaw too. I will never go to this place again. I do NOT recommend you try this place. Thanks for reading

Service is so bad. You won't be served unless you go to them.... Sat for 30 mins until someone finally give you water... and you need to come to them to say can you order otherwise they won't come to you FOREVER... no utensils even after food was served ( this was after 40 mins of waiting and no service at all..., and waited 10 more mins for utensils) come to them to get utensils... Basically you won't get any service and food is really just average. Btw the restaurant was not that busy... at all a lot of empty seats so I don't get it... Why no service...

Exceptional food, well-crafted cocktails, and attentive service. I had a wonderful dining experience here recently. The happy hour special was so tempting that I had to indulge in a myriad of margarita flavors. The burrito was so enormous it was nearly as wide as the plate's diameter and I could not finish more than half. There are a lot of vegan options available as well, including meat substitutes like seitan, and offering condiments like vegan sour cream. To top it all off, the tres leches was impeccably moist and perfectly sweetened.

I hace to say I was wondering around for a good Happy Hour place and I believe I stumbled upon this Gem. We only ordered 4 Drinks and Guac & Chips! We are definitely coming back cause it was so cozy and the drinks was made perfect to my liking. It started picking up after we was there for a hour and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Not every place have a very welcoming vibe. And I'm so interested in coming back and trying out their Dishes. Stay turned!!

An interesting experience for Cinco de Mayo, and not sure if I'd give them another chance. They were SEVERELY short staffed to the point that it became risky to ask the waitstaff for anything because they were likely to forget (enough plates, water, forgotten drinks, forgotten apps). I came with a large party for a birthday (reservation was made weeks in advance and they were clearly not prepared for us) and I ordered a classic marg which for happy hour is a good deal and and even better deal on a non holiday. It was good but served in a small disposable cup and not strong at all. They also forgot mine and I had to remind them. We started with guac and nachos (these never came), and the guac was good but there weren't enough chips to go around. I ordered the seitan tacos, which I was happy to see on the menu, and these were actually very flavorful and well done. Loaded with seitan, veggies, and a helping of guac made the two taco serving feel a bit bigger. After waiting for around 2 hours total, they comped a round of drinks after we asked but my experience was still soured due to me feeling like I had to project manage this dinner to ensure everyone had what they needed. Maybe for takeout, but likely won't dine in again.

Yet another excellent take-out dinner! Consistently delicious . We look forward to ordering food here again soon!

The staff were all friendly and nice. We had the taco + drink combo for $20 and a plate of nachos. It was definitely a taste of authentic mexican food, the meat is savory too! I love the outdoor dining vibes as well. They set up lights and some banners outside

The food was nice, but we were the only ones there on a Friday in NYC, which was a little odd, but great for covid safety! The chips didn't seem 100% fresh but they could have been sitting since not much traffic. The marg was good. Hopefully this place picks up steam and gets into its grove.

I had a brunch for my mother's 91st Birthday I wanted a local spot with easy access and the service was impeccable they attended to all my guest's needs and the food was spot on! Everyone was happy with everything that was served the food, the drinks and dessert! Mom enjoyed every minute of it! Definitely go! Thank you Mictlan

Threw a friends baby shower here and the owner and staff were all so helpful and made it so easy! Food and drinks are DELICIOUS and had something for everyone, no matter if they were vegans or carnivores etc. The back room is awesome with really cool wall murals and bright colors. Loved it and cant wait to go back.

Their food is quality is not consistent. The pork is loaded with so much fat that if you have it in a burrito be prepared to have pools of pork fat drip out. Spicy chicken wings were never spicy. One time you'll have it coated with cornstarch with no seasoning while another time it'll have no cornstarch and be so salty it's inedible. Tres leches cake, I've never had cake soaked in milk and still be dry until I had it here...... Churos......fried in stale old oil.

Mind blowing flavors. I had the vegan options and had to check whether it was actually dairy free, lol. The veggie quesadilla, veggie tacos, and guacamole were Perfectly seasoned and very filling. The owner and bartender were extremely gracious and friendly. I didn't see anything I wanted on the drink menu so they made a custom drink for me (I asked for something warm and sweet and he made a hot toddy). Heaven. I left so happy . Will definitely be back for the corn and seitan dishes.

Excellent birria tacos. Included cheese and it wasn't overly crispy. Some places tend to burn the cheese too much and this allowed the birria taste to come through better. Also came with a generous sized consomme with pieces of meat inside. The tres leches was recommended and it was also a winner. Refreshing and great consistency. Overall very impressed with the quality and value.

I walk by Mictlan Mexico a few times a week but never stopped to eat until last night. We ordered the appetizer Ceviche Estilo Mictlan and two main dishes, Mole Poblano and Plato de Carnitas. The appetizer was small and included one or two shaved in half shrimp and probably one small scallop diced in small pieces - not worth $17. The Mole Poulsbo chicken was a nice size but smothered with mole sauce - to sweet for my taste. The sides were nicely presented but average tasting at best - not great for $22. The Plato de Carnitas pork dish was nicely presented but at least half the pork on the dish was pig fat - awful tasting and hard to eat. The sides were average at best - not worth $20. I would never go back. Not worth the $74 dollars. Big disappointment..

Just passed by this place a couple nights ago. Really cute space at the former Fat Radish. I ordered the ceviche verde, burrito vegano, and elote vegano. Everything was really good and respectably priced for the quality and its location (LES).

Yummmm. Ordered the birria tacos and the chicken tacos. The chicken tacos weren't bad! The hot sauce they gave is amazing I loved it. The birria tacos were the highlight of my order. It was well flavored and seasoned! The consomé was so good too. I'm a fan of Mictlan! This is an authentic Mexican restaurant in L.E.S not gentrified so don't be afraid to give it a try!
