I live right around the corner from where this cart is located and I frequent this cart a lot. Service is fast since there is usually not a line, and food is amazing. They have all the standard halal cart items and the chicken is juicy and flavorful. Prices have gone up recently due to inflation. At the time of writing this review, a chicken over rice is $11 and a combo over rice is $12. This is a street cart so you can order and eat at a scenic place if your choice for ambiance. Overall, if you're nearby, solid choice for a meal!

Favorite halal food cart! Even compared to the ones in the city. Everything about it is good aside from the prices that just keep getting higher and higher due to inflation. Not their fault but does hurt our pocket as it's no longer the friendly neighborhood price.

It looks like they fixed the previous issue. I don't know what that was about, but the food is consistently the same and good now. I do notice that the portions have been getting smaller. Maybe that's a cost-cutting measure. But that's not enough to deduct any points for. This is still the best halal cart within a 5 mile radius.

The best halal in nyc, way better than the halal guys in the city . Located in bay ridge Brooklyn must get the mix with pita bread hands down the you best you'll ever had. People from all over the city comes here for the halal food located on bay ridge Ave and 5th Ave.

I've been coming to this Halal Cart for years, definitely already more than 5 years. My go-to is mixed meat gyro. Their food is always good and they give a nice amount all the time! The guys that work there are always friendly. PLUS is that they are opened till past midnight, so great for when you have late night cravings

Middle Eastern Halal on 69th has become a go-to spot for me. The food is delicious, amazing value for the price, and excellent service! 10/10 would recommend! Unfortunately, there is no sit-down option but, non the less, great sport to get a quick bite to-go! One thing to remember, Cash Only.

Looked at the reviews and decided to give this place a shot because it was closest hala cart around the area at the moment. Chicken was very unseasoned and the white sauce tasted like water. The falafel was good though

Middle Eastern Halal Cart located in Bay Ridge on 69th Street offers one of the tastiest foods in New York. Eating here never disappoints. Best thing about this cart is that its locally owned by brother Jojo. Brother Jojo has been there since the beginning for Bay Ridge serving the finest halal platter that neighborhood has to offer. This cart is one of the originals that started in this neighborhood and absolutely a necessary for everyone to try. The cart has vegetarian friendly options. The falafel plate with some rice, salad, white and hot sauce is absolutely a banger. I enjoy this more than the meat. For the people who enjoy meat, this cart happens to have some of the tastiest lamb I ever tried. My recommendation would be a mixed platter with all the sauces. Best thing about this cart is that the food always leaves you feeling good. Partially because I believe the quality is always up to standards. You can find Jojo here most of the time and next time you do, share some good vibes with the brother and share your story. Sometimes the wait can take long and be prepared to stand in a line. This cart does get packed. Please keep in mind that is an absolute gem to all the locals of Bay Ridge and the cart is very admired in the neighborhood.

This has always been my go to for YEARS. I cannot sing their praises enough. The food is always consistent, the flavor is amazing, the meat is always sooooo juicy, no matter what hour of the day I get it. I've tried other carts before with meat that tastes extremely dry and ashy, almost as though it's been sitting out for a while. With that said, the halal food here always delivers with savory taste and consistency. I'm salivating thinking about it, would probably go pick up an order later today. I always get chicken over rice with white/BBQ/hot sauce and it never disappoints. The workers are extremely friendly wearing the biggest smiles on their face. They're practically my neighbors. So there you have it, the best halal food I've ever had in my life.

This is my first time to New York and heard there are plenty great foods out here. I ordered but through Uber eats because I was super tired where I didn't want to move my body out of the airbnb to go to the restaurant. It's interesting that they don't accept credit/debit card, according to Yelp. Ordering through Uber Eats was great as if I was going to order in person at the restaurant. Good meal and although the package looks small, they bunch it together very well

Ok so I'm getting hungry just thinking about this place. Although the cart on 86th and fourth avenue gets more business than this place, this cart directly in front Rite Aide blows it away. The staff is friendly and professional. The Palestinian immigrant owner has a relationship with the customers in the neighborhood from all races/religions etc. It's wonderful hearing the conversations that take place while waiting online because it reminds you of what a melting pot New York is. Aah I forgot to mention the food! I always get the mixed chicken and meat plate with extra hot sauce! Warning the hot sauce is fire! For a dollar more you can get some chopped thick pita bread which is grilled. If you want good cart food, you do not have to drive to the legendary "Halal Guys," this place is just as good without the hassle.

Mediocre food served with employee attitudes. The halal food carts at 86th st is world's better. I question the cleanliness because employees don't wear any masks or hair/beard nets. Should be standard hygienic practice.

I love halal stands/trucks. You can always count on them to be open even during the late evenings when restaurants are not. Whenever I get the hungry or late night munchies and I need something quick, I usually get Halal food from Middle Eastern Halal Stand. You always notice them because they are in front of Rite Aid and they always have their yellow truck parked in front of it. I usually get there chicken over rice, which I think is pretty good. I've also had their falafel sandwich and chicken gyro, which are also good. It is very convenient for me since I live very close it. My go to option for late night munchies. Always count on them to stay open very late. The people who run the stand are very cool and friendly. If you live around the Bay Ridge Ave area, go to them for a quick bite. Happy Eating!!

Anytime I go away for a long time or just want a break from my food routine I get a mixed gyro from here. It's always super delicious and the guys preparing the food are usually pretty friendly too. I occasionally try different food trucks throughout the city and always wind up coming back here. Give it a try next time you're in Bay Ridge Brooklyn.

Second time eating here, so good! We get the chicken over rice with pita bread- it's a total of $7 for nice portions of each. Quick service and the 2 guys are always sweet and on point.

Good quality food, love the pickles and variety of toppings. Good portions as well as very unique taste compared to other carts in the area and even compared to most Manhattan. Halal guys and these people have two different kind of flavors but both just as worth to enjoy, so this cart can be ranked to be on that level.

One of the best halal food stands in NY! Both chicken and lamb taste great. Workers are chill and kind, they give free food to the homeless people around the area. They are also open late, what more can you ask for.

The service is super friendly and funny the food is incredible. I live for the falafels we put them on everything 3 for $1 we encorporate them into so many of our meals. My husband's most recent falafel pizza. We feel extremely lucky to live so close.
