Midici Starts Slinging Neapolitan Pizzas in Preston Hollow Next Week - Eater Dallas

"Midici, a SoCal chain known for Neapolitan pizzas, is opening its newest outpost in Preston Hollow on January 15. This marks the third local branch for the brand which already has locations in Addison and Euless. The new venue will offer a range of thin-crust pizzas with diverse toppings, as well as meatballs, garlic bread, charcuterie boards, salads, and desserts. A certified cicerone has curated a selection of craft brews, wine, and coffee for the drink menu." - Alaena Hostetter

MidiCi Will Start Slinging Neapolitan Pizzas in Preston Hollow Next Month - Eater Dallas

"MidiCi, a Los Angeles’ export for Neapolitan pizzas, is expanding in DFW with a second area location in Preston Hollow. The new location will open in October. MidiCi’s first eatery in DFW debuted this spring in Uptown’s West Village. Interiors at the new location will reflect the laid-back neighborhood eatery atmosphere found in its West Village spot. As focal points of the restaurant, MidiCi features a live black olive tree and wood-fired ovens made in Naples covered in shimmering gold. In Preston Hollow, diners can look forward to pizzas covered in eggs and bacon, prosciutto and truffles, and chicken pesto. Appetizers include several meat and cheese boards, meatballs and mozzarella, calzones, salads, plus desserts like gelato and a Nutella calzone. A certified cicerone has curated the beer selection with craft brews, plus wine and coffee are on offer. The new location will be on the ground floor of the Douglas luxury apartment building across from Orangetheory Fitness." - Alaena Hostetter

Our lively server T (who is also the Catering Manager) was so attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and treated our table like family. The tasty dishes were brought to the table in rapid succession and they were all amazing! The Walnut & Gorgonzola Salad had some of the best dressing - I'd love to recreate it at home. The Double Pepperoni Pizza was great, as well - it has a spicy kick at the end of each bite. And to finish it off? A sweet Nutella Dessert Calzone drizzled with chocolate sauce, Nutella and a raspberry compote. This was the perfect amount of food for dinner. Hubs and I had a great date night and we can't wait to visit again (maybe for Wine Down Wednesday?) and try a few other things on the menu!

Nice layout with a bar in it. Had the Caesar salad and double pepperoni pizza which had a nice spiciness to it. I would add a couple or TV's since some people do like to keep up with sports especially if they are traveling for business and didn't come with a friend to accompany them.

The pizza is good! I do think they should offer two sizes as the one we got is really a personal pizza, so a slightly bigger one would be nicer. I really like how it is decorated on the inside and how they show you making their own pizza by hand. I love they offer chili oil which is my favorite topping to put over crushed red peppers as it is more authentic to what pizza restaurants in Italy offer.

A 90 second pizza! The ovens are pretty impressive when you walk in, and for them to produce a wonderful tasting pizza in less than 2 minutes... well that caught my interest immediately. I had a great experience here. I was greeted with kindness even though there were only a couple of guests in the restaurant. I love the fact that they have gluten free pizza options and also even vegan cheese selection, for those who are concerned about dairy and gluten. Also the salads and other pizzapizza selec on the menu Grant rigging and made me want to come back and try a few different ones. I also appreciated the fact that they have outdoor seating, I enjoy sitting outside watching the people go by.

Albiet very (very) slow on service, the food itself was wonderful. We tried the Caesar salad and it was done very nicely - not too much dressing, not too salty & not too creamy, but it did not lack in flavor either. We ordered the double pepperoni pizza -- very good & I'd get it again for sure! We got a sausage n pepper calzone - it was done right; very tasty. Then we got the margherita style pizza but added sausage and d*mn...that was good!

Love MidiCi! They serve amazing Neapolitan pizzas and a lot more. Neapolitan pizza is my thing and I have tried certified Neapolitan pizzerias all over the country. MediCi's imported wood-fired ovens reach the proper 900 degree heat to turn out perfect pizzas and their ingredients and creative toppings are outstanding! Give them a try. You won't be sorry.

Absolutely amazing. The truffle pizza is well-cooked. We added Italian sausage to the truffle prosciutto pizza (not Italian but more American style of eating tho) and we loved it!!

Great place, I have to say food is simple but delicious, service also is good, but for me the best part was dessert... I loved the tiramisu and I would definitely come back again.
