Midnight Mac and Cheese is okay. We ordered thru delivery and are pretty disappointed with what we recieved. There is barely any cheese in my mac, it is almost entitely bread crumbs. If you pick it up on a fork, there isnt any cheesey gooey, which i do expect for a $13 mac and cheese. It tasted almost exactly the same as the wheels and cheese michelina that I can pay $1 for at WalMart. Overall, skip this place and order from somewhere else. The cake I ordered did bring the review up to 2 stars though, very delicious.

This is the best part about Chicago. I stayed at an Airbnb by this one time and now whenever I’m in the area I make a point to get midnight Mac & cheese. This has to be some of the best Mac and cheese I have ever had (besides my grandmothers of course). They have all sorts of interesting flavors.

This was kind of a let down. The mac and cheese wasn't all that great and the jalapeños in mine tasted like they came from a jar. It was very expensive for the quality and amount of food.

Great and personable staff, and pretty good Mac and cheese. Very cheesy. The large size is pretty hefty. I thoroughly enjoyed it. They're family owned and operated, and since the location is new, they're still ironing out little things. Before the end of the summer I can see this joint being much much better. I wish they had more creative mac dish options - like fried bites, Mac and cheese pizza with customization options, or even Mac and cheese grilled cheese with the same customization potential. They serve coffee inside as well, which was nice, and have a selection of classic glass bottled soda. A few more drink options would be nice, but isn't a "make or break" observation.

For starters, let me say that I love Mac and cheese and you can't go wrong with this place! The food is good and the staff is very pleasant! The only problem I had was with the Lobster Mac and cheese my friend ordered me. For the price point, I thought there would be a heftier amount of lobster, yet there wasn't. I would've definitely told him to add extra lobster if I knew there was only going to be so little in the delicious Mac and cheese. Other than it's a good place for some southern comfort food! Good job to everyone who runs the joint!

Woo wee, was looking forward to knocking down some good mac n cheese with a "cooks" creative style...or not. Little variety that shows no ability or experience in that arena. Asked for a menu to see something that would get the taste buds going; to which I got a "really?" look from cashier- very a few house selections. Cheese sauce if that's what you might call it👎, maybe look into better quality brands or real butter to make a rich hearty go of it. A sharp jack, brie, 4 cheese, something than just boring cheddar or feta; spill cream in every so often and mix it up so it stays consistent. Steak was... over cooked, not tender in the least. I hate to forward negative feedback, but as a customer at those prices- buyer beware. Not a snooty so and so for I like to check out different spins on simple creations, but go online for recipes that are quick and easy at half the prices and I'm speaking as a professional Chef. Sorry management, hope things level out to please other hopefuls on good idea.

Since this place reworked their recipes a while back, they've really developed a delicious, quality Mac-N-Cheese that stands out from the usual and the portions for price are very fair. Had the Lobster Mac with some truffle oil and it's excellent. Support good and local small businesses please.

When this place first opened, it was very good. But now, a few months later, they have gone drastically downhill. Before, the noodles would be evenly coated with a generous amount of cheese sauce, but now they don’t use much at all. And they don’t mix it prior to putting it in the container— it seems like they just pour the cheese over it so the noodles around the edges never see any sauce. The containers used to be environmentally safe, microwave safe containers. Now they’re cheap aluminum and plastic. And, they used to get the orders right before. Lately, I expect to make a second trip to have my order corrected, even if I order it on Grubhub. I used to love this place, but now I’d warn everyone to lower their expectations before coming here.
