Our recent visit was an absolutely incredible dining experience from start to finish. The food was truly great! Every dish we tried was flavorful, perfectly prepared, and showcased high-quality ingredients. Equally amazing were the drinks, which were creative and expertly crafted. However, what truly elevated the evening was the incredible service, particularly from the very friendly and amazing Diana. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Her service was professional yet warm, making our dinner feel special. I would be happy to go back to Miel de Agave, not only for the superb food and drinks but also for Diana. She is a massive asset to any restaurant! If you are looking for a fantastic meal paired with top-tier service, ask for Diana you won't be disappointed. Highly, highly recommended!

This was my first stop in town. The staff was attentive. My waitress, Jazmy, was friendly and helpful. I had the Aguachiles, the Birra Torta, and a PricklyPear Mocktail. All were delicious. The atmosphere was great. There was live music at the perfect volume, loud but no so loud you couldn't have a conversation at the table. I will be going back.

The food and service for our visit both were excellent. Our empty plates didn't rest on the table for more than fifteen seconds. We were served by Alex who was attentive and agreed with our preference for spicy enchiladas. We felt that the atmosphere and location were better suited for a bistro or other more casual type of restaurant given the tier of pricing that MDA was going for. The space felt a bit bustling and cramped which you wouldn't see in a steak house with similar pricing. We'd easily come back for the lower tier items on a more casual day.

This was my first time here and cane with my mom to celebrate my birthday. We sat at the bar since it was just the two of us and it was perfect. The display of Tequilas was a beautiful view. We had Izzy as our bartender/waitress and she was great. Great attitude and had great recommendations. The food was amazing. I had the Surf n Turf and my mom had the Quesabirria. For dessert we shared the two chocolate chip cookies with fruit on top. Unfortunately that wasn't good. The cookies were not warmed and a little on the hard side. Other than that everything was great and the vibes were awesome. Before I forget they did have live music which I enjoyed very much.

From the moment we entered Miel de Agave, the dimmed lighting set a relaxed, intimate mood and the decor struck the right balance between casual and elevated. The ambience absolutely worked for a date-night vibe. Staff were uniformly dressed and attentive from the start, which also left a strong positive impression. One small but memorable detail: our waiter poured water that (believe it or not) tasted unusually smooth and well-chilled. It was easily the finest “plain” water we’ve had at a restaurant lately. For our starter, we ordered the pork belly chicharrones with the avocado mousse. It did not disappoint with it being crisp and flavorful, and the mousse providing a nice creamy contrast. We’d go back for that alone. For our entrées we ordered: - NY steak, well done - Grilled chicken with asparagus on the side Here’s the rub: both arrived on the dry side. I’m inclined to chalk it up to our “well done” request (especially for the steak), which likely pushed it past optimum juiciness. Even so, dry entrees are a disappointment when the rest of the experience is so promising. Miel de Agave delivers strong on style and on starters, and the atmosphere, service and “small details” (like the water) show real care. If you go, I’d recommend ordering something medium‐ or medium-rare (if you eat beef) to possibly maximize the potential. Bottom line: this is a solid choice for a date night or special outing. The pork belly chicharrones are a standout for sure.

This place was a dart throw for a date night. I read the reviews, and thought it sounded like an amazing restaurant for a date night for Me and My girlfriend while I am visiting in Tempe. The server we had was Andrea, and the bartender was Aaron. Both were absolutely phenomenal. I have never in My life had a margarita this good. Ever. It was legit the best I have EVER had. And I have had a LOT of margaritas in My life. 😂 They also have Johnny Walker Blue for $35ish a glass. Totally reasonable. 👍 The appetizers we had were the "We Love Guacamole" and the "Ribeye Agua Chile". I have never had a ribeye cooked so well. It was literally melting in My mouth. The entrees we had were the "Arrabiata Di Chipotle Pasta", and she had the "Green Chili Cream Enchiladas". I upgraded My protein to steak, and had it medium rare. It was absolutely delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked. The sauce was absolutely amazing, and the portion was fantastic. She absolutely loved the enchiladas. She did two chicken and one steak, and absolutely killed all of it. The atmosphere was amazing, and the live music artist was truly a great addition to the already awesome meal and experience. If you are in the Chandler area, this place is a must. I can't recommend it enough. You won't be disappointed. I say that with 100% certainty.

Miel de Agave absolutely blew us away. The atmosphere is spot on the kind of place you walk into and instantly feel like you’re in for something special. We grabbed seats at the bar and went all in on their house specialties the short rib birria and the MDA tomahawk and both were unreal. Melt in your mouth kind of good. Izzy took the whole experience to another level. Total pro great conversationalist checked on us just enough and somehow kept our drinks magically full all night. She made the whole night unforgettable and honestly the kind of service you tell everyone about. If you haven’t tried Miel de Agave yet just go. It’s that good.

This was our first visit, and we were immediately blown away by how beautiful the ambiance was the moment we walked in. Our server, Angela, was warm, attentive, and made the entire experience feel effortless. The cocktails alone were unforgettable—creative, stunningly presented, and absolutely delicious. We ordered the tomahawk steak and tacos, and both were some of the best we’ve had in a long time. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for amazing food, a great atmosphere, and fantastic service.

Yelp
The food is great here, the ambience and service. I would say my favorite was the queso fundido as an appetizer and comes with fresh tortillas! And the barbacoa tacos are really good! I surely recommend!

Yelp
Fine Mexican dining located in the heart of Downtown Chandler, AZ. Miel De Agave quickly earned a spot on my list of favorites. The restaurant offers a fantastic menu paired with a romantic ambiance. My wife and I had been searching for a nearby spot to celebrate special occasions, and we've finally found it. I encourage everyone to experience this place at least once--you'll understand why it's poised to earn not just local, but potentially national recognition!

Yelp
Service was top notch from Oscar and Andrea at the bar, ambiance was also 10/10. Enchiladas were amazing as well. Would highly recommend.

Yelp
We had such a great time at Miel de Agave! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was lively and inviting. complete with live music that added the perfect energy to the evening. My husband ordered an Old Fashioned, and it arrived in a smoky glass box, absolutely stunning presentation and just as smooth as it looked. Our server, Alex, was incredibly kind and helpful, guiding us through the menu and recommending the best dishes. Thanks to her, I ordered the carne asada plate, which was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. And don't skip the chips and guac, they're a must! Can't wait to come back. Great drinks, great food, and even better service!

Yelp
Nice new addition to the downtown chandler area. Good food and drinks. A little on the pricey side but still good. Bartenders were friendly and decor Of the restaurant was nice. Not what you would expect in downtown chandler.

Yelp
Overpriced, Underwhelming, and Utterly Pretentious If you're seeking an expensive, disappointing, and ultimately frustrating dining experience, Miel de Agave is the place for you. What promises an "elevated" Mexican meal is nothing more than a pretentious facade for underwhelming food, served by a staff that acts as if they are doing you a favor. The pretension starts with the waitstaff, who seem more interested in their own carefully curated image than in providing actual service. Our server was aloof and condescending, treating every question as an annoyance. The attitude made the entire meal feel like an intrusion rather than a welcomed dining experience. The food was equally disappointing. The "carne asada," a small, unremarkable hanger steak, was far from the quality one would expect for a $36 price tag. The sides were served in tiny, fast-food-style plastic cups, a bizarre and cheap-looking contrast to the supposedly upscale atmosphere. And to top it off, the tortillas were wrapped in the same type of cloth napkin used for wiping tables, a completely unappetizing and unhygienic touch. The biggest insult came with the wine. After ordering a bottle that was clearly mispriced on the menu, the manager refused to honor the price. Instead of graciously owning the mistake, they doubled down, choosing to argue with a customer over a misprint. This move perfectly showcased the restaurant's priorities: profit over hospitality and pride over customer satisfaction. Don't be fooled by the trendy atmosphere and polished social media presence. Beneath the "vibrant vibes" and "craft mixology" lies a restaurant that simply doesn't deliver on its promises. For the price, you can find dozens of restaurants in the Valley that offer better food, honest service, and a management team that respects its customers. Save your money and your evening--look elsewhere.

Yelp
I decided at the last minute that I was not going to cook tonight... so we went to Miel de Agave... let me tell you about this place!! Oh boy, it started with a beautiful entrance just off of Arizona Ave. We were seated right away on a Tuesday evening. No reservations. Staff is nicely dressed in uniform for serving their customers. We tried a cocktail that was half mojito and half mule!!! OH MY GOODNESS! This was just delicious....also with this drink came a tiny little EXCITEMENT BOMB in the form of a "Buzz Button." They place this small plant bud into the top of your drink and you nibble on it as you sip your drink....WHAT IS GOING ON WILL EXCITE YOUR TASTE BUDS!!! I can't really explain in detail how wonderful this little burst of "what the heck was that "...I wanted more. Ok, so on to the dinner. Again, they did not disappoint... hubby had the triple cheese burger and it was the best he has had! I chose the Sonora tacos with steak and chicken...sooo delicious. Shout out to Ana!! She was the perfect blend of patience and professionalism that made the experience that much better. She explained everything and was so helpful because it was our first time. I'm adding pics of our drinks, meal and that little wonder plant "Buzz Bud." Come and see what you are missing at this place!! They have music on the weekends, so call for reservations! We will be back!!!

Yelp
Omg...I passed this place a billion times thinking there's no way this place could be good sandwiched between Black Rock and Jersey Mikes. Then I started hearing about it from fellow foodies. Then I read reviews. Then I got curious. Why did I wait so long to go?! So many wasted dinners at "meh" restaurants! The drinks were delightful and so fun! Mine came smoking from dry ice around it. I also had a Miel take on an espresso martini. Both were so yummy! As someone who drinks maybe a bevy once in a while when I'm out these days, the fact that they got me to drink two is kind of a big deal! We had the elote and potato tacos to start. Both were FABULOUS. Like, I dream about the tacos. Also, just a note, I brought one home and heated it up on the stove then put a fried egg over it and it was the best breakfast. Then I had the bacanora pasta. Why? I don't know. I should have gotten the enchiladas. It was def good, but I regret it. I got scared and got the weirdest thing you can possibly get at a Mexican restaurant. Husband got the birria torta. The flavor was outstanding. I ate a lot of his food. The one thing I will say: I had one of my kiddos with me and there were probably 10 other kids at the restaurant. Chandler is very family friendly. That being said, there need to be some more "basic" kid options. Chicken fingers or PB&J are underrated heroes. We can't wait to go back!

Yelp
I live Miel de Agave. It has a great atmosphere. It is dimly lit which I appreciate after a day in the Arizona sun. The food and drinks are exceptional. I was just telling someone that they make the best margaritas I've ever had. The food is delicious and well presented. The servers are friendly and attentive.

Yelp
This is our third time dining there. Unfortunately, each time it seems to have gotten worse. The pours for the wine were pathetically small. The smoked old-fashioned was almost $30. Service was extremely poor. We asked for salsa on two separate occasions and never received it. It did make its way on the bill, however. The elote appetizer was still very good. Tuna appetizer was so so. I had ordered it in the past and it was previously better. QUESABIRRIA tacos were soggy. For the price and the terrible service, I will be passing on this place in the future.

Yelp
One of the best places we've eaten in Phoenix area. Wow - the steak was cooked to perfection and food was incredibly flavorful and well balanced. We had the steak agua chile and the enchiladas. By far the best steak enchiladas I've ever had. No joke - it's a must have. The Paloma was almost too pretty to drink but incredibly tasty Our server Angela was very sweet and knowledgeable about the menu. Perfect date night dinner and we will be back for more.

Yelp
Our friends told us they didn't like this place. And once I was there I realize some employees don't know what they are doing, we were eating and 30 minutes in still had no water although I asked for it 3 times. The place is small but cute and it was pretty packed, they had live music and that was nice. The food was really good and we enjoyed everything we had, for appetizer we had the corn ribs and then we got a platter of birra with bone marrow and some cheese tortillas. The birria was attached to the bone and sooo tener I have to say it was delicious. I would def come back for a normal evening to eat again and maybe take my daughter but don think I would be back for a Date night. I would love to improve this review next time.

Yelp
Chefs kizz tomahawk Tuesday! $80 the photo plate posted below. I paired it house chimicurri. Amazing! Great service. Romantic ambiance. I loved my food. Suggestion -Add fresh brewed tea to your menu. Hot smoken women customers are no sugar, no carbs, no high fructose corn syrup. Smart people don't drink. No real drinks I could partake :( Water for me :) *your beans were good maybe add a red chile cheese burrito or cheese crisp for my picky man. Like I said, I loved food Great job

Yelp
We went with our best friends for dinner. We are all 40 something's & over. It was dim and we appreciated the lamp in the middle of the table. The drinks were delicious and the food was delicious. We all shared bites of one another's food. I didn't get pictures of the food nor drinks the way that I normally would. I look forward to returning to try more of their offerings.

Yelp
What a wonderful experience Such a beautiful space The service with Belle was amazing Very attentive We had tacos and enchiladas and the music was a good touch Parking is a bit tight Great food and great atmosphere

Yelp
What a gem! Atmosphere is very nice. They make a great Lemon Drop Martini. Carne Asada was melt in your mount. Rib Eye had the best flavor and was served on a huge platter. I see why this place is hard to get reservations. This is a must to put on your dine list.

Yelp
Excellent experience. Dinner on a Tuesday night. The place was packed which is a good sign. We just arrive into Phoenix and didn't have time to make reservations but they gladly sat us at the bar with a full menu. I had a Paloma margarita and bacon wrapped shrimp tacos. Outstanding Paloma that was not too sweet with great balance with the jalapeño salt on the rim. The shrimp tacos was a flavor bomb. The cabbage, house salsa/sauce, bacon and spices were soo good. The added touch of slight fry with cheese on the corn tortilla was a great touch. Great place with a lot of celebrations, the locals seemed to like the place as well. Excellent food and experience.

Yelp
The food was so amazing that I realized I did NOT take pictures when we started lol just the aftermath and the pork belly chicharron didn't make the picture because well...it was all gone already!!! So delicious! Then the carne asada with street corn to die for!! Ask for Jazmyn- she was so great leading us through the menu and her recommendations were spot on!! See you soon!

Sky R.

Yelp
What a letdown. Nothing we ordered looked even remotely like the photos in other reviews. I ordered the birria tacos, they came with maybe two ounces of meat total spread across three sad tortillas, and zero trace of the cheese they advertise. The side of beans came in a tiny condiment cup, which ended up being the best part of the entire meal. My wife's Sonoran tacos were even worse. They looked like something you'd get in a school cafeteria. The chicken tasted like plain boiled chicken breast, no seasoning at all. The carne asada was grey, tough, and genuinely unappetizing. She sent it back and swapped for the potato tacos, which were better but still nothing special. Someone at our table got the cheese enchiladas, which was the most shocking dish of the night. These weren't enchiladas, they were three folded tortillas topped with sour cream and their cream sauce and literally empty inside. For the prices they're charging, this meal was laughable. After seeing other customer photos, what we were served didn't even seem like the same restaurant. $200 later, and it's safe to say we will not be returning.

Yelp
Food was mouth watering. Great taste not to mention the mocktails we had, I would go back just to order one to go that's how delicious that prickly pear mocktail was. The service was not that great. Unfortunately we waited 1 hour before we got to even order our food and that was only because I flagged someone down and told them the situation. They were very apologetic and even gave us a free dessert at the end which was very sweet. Although the service wasn't great the first time I would still go back because it was delicious. The ambiance was great for a date night and it was very fancy.
google avatar

Sylvia C.

Yelp
As you age, are you less tolerable of spicy food? I'm wondering because I ordinarily could eat hot food without any problems. However, I ordered a spicy margarita and it gave me the hiccups! I also ordered the ceviche and it too was spicy as hell! Don't get me wrong. Both were good, but my mouth was on fire afterwards!
google avatar

Danielle V.

Yelp
The ambiance and service was great. The meal was good but overpriced in my opinion. The shrimp with the surf and Turf could have used a bit more seasoning. They were a bit bland. The steak and potatoes were delicious and so was the guacamole. I really enjoyed the music and atmosphere. I would come back again for drinks and apps.
google avatar

Meg M.

Yelp
The service was wonderful. Oscar was personable and knowledgeable of the menu. I order the NY steak & fries, rare. Others in my party ordered several other items. Including the enchiladas, carne asada, and the steak and lobster. Their margarita were brilliant. Highly recommend the Cadillac. Music was not too loud. Although we had a large party, they accommodated us well.

Yelp
This place recently opened in downtown Chandler about a month ago so some friends and I decided to give it a try after seeing an IG reel of the place. They may still have a few things to work out but overall it wasn't bad. Parking is tough when busy but I was lucky enough to find parking on the street in front of the place. No reservations but was able to be seated right away for 3 people around 6:45pm on a Sunday evening. Everyone was friendly here. The place is really cute and I love the ambiance! It's like Toca Madera but with live music. Order: Carajillo $17 La Berry Nice. $21 Blue Dream. $16 Casamigos & Sprite x3 $19.75 each Conejo Malo w/ rum $23 Aguachile de Camaron $22 Pork Belly Chicharron $18 Quesabirria $22 My Carajillo didn't have any alcohol so they remade it and it was much better after it was remade. My friend sent back her La Berry Nice because it was too sweet for her. She got her usual tequila sprite instead. My other friend liked her Blue Dream drink. I also got the Conejo Malo with rum and that was my favorite! I wish I had ordered that in the first place!! The aguachile was good. We really liked the green sauce. I would have just preferred the shrimps blanched a bit but I know this dish normally comes raw. My friends said the pork belly chicharron was pretty good. I don't eat pork so I skipped that dish. My friend and I shared the quesabirria dish and I thought that was delicious! Loved the consume and spicy sauce with it. Definitely had a kick to it. Our waitress was really nice, helpful and knowledgeable. It was busy and I could see that she was helping tables on the other side of the restaurant as well so it took some time in between but she came back from time to time to check on us. Many of the items on the menu here are definitely considered pricey for DT Chandler. I saw a cocktail priced at $35! Regardless, I would still like to come back and try other items on the menu next time.

Yelp
I almost always make a reservation but didn't when I was coming there, thinking eh it's just 2 of us at Friday at 5 pm, it'll be fine. Well it was booked up so we sat at the bar. No issue there! But probably make a reservation. (You can do it online) I also want to note the hostess was very friendly and nice. I'd been to the Phoenix location so was excited to see an East valley location. This one is in the building that used to be the Buqui Bichi brew pub. Its interesting as the building is pretty square and the entrance almost seems like you're sneaking in the back, and they didn't do anything to separate the entrance from the interior, so while you sit in the dark restaurant, now and then there's a blast of blinding light and heat from the open door. It wasn't bothersome, just odd! Heads up - no happy hour! We got the Paloma and the Michelada and both were made with a lot of care. I haven't had a Michelada in a while and this one was great! We also got chips and salsa and the chicharron. The salsa is spicy and seems sort of plain, but both times I've had it, I can't stop eating it even though my mouth is on fire. I would not get the chicharron again. It's a lot of kinda dry pork cubes with a teeeeeny bit of an avocado sauce. And we had to get the birria tacos again, which are huge and delicious. This location opens daily at 11 so it will be interesting to see if they add any lunch specials or a brunch or happy hour.

Yelp
Sunday Funday on a whim turned into a whole vibe at Miel de Agave. It had been on my list for a while -- and now I can't wait to go back. The second you walk in, you know you're somewhere special. The ambiance? On point. Gorgeous decor, stunning cocktail presentation, and all the little details that make the experience feel elevated. Now for the drinks -- this was a no-food day, but the cocktails more than delivered: * Chichen-ITZA: Served with a fresh watermelon slice and a cricket garnish (yep, I ate it -- salty, crunchy, and weirdly perfect with the fruit). It's a drink and a conversation starter. * La Berry Nice: Fruity and refreshing, like summer in a glass. * Watermelon Margarita: Light, fresh, and totally worth a reorder. * MDA Michelada: Not sweet (thankfully!), with just the right spice -- and they added saladitos. Genius. * Old Fashioned with Tequila: Smoked tableside, with a mezcal twist. The vibe of this one was just as good as the flavor. Bonus shoutout to Kevin at the bar -- great energy, super engaging, and shared the story behind the spot. He made us feel welcome and definitely sealed the deal on us returning for food next time (which smelled incredible, by the way). This place is an experience. Come thirsty, come curious -- and if a cricket lands on your drink... go for it.

Yelp
We enjoyed our anniversary dinner here last night. We ended up sitting at the bar because they were totally booked on a Saturday at 5! We had Kevin and Izzy helping us and both gave exceptional customer service! They worked together to make my husband the most perfect margarita! We started with the calamari nice and crispy however it was strips instead of rings as shown in pics and a few pieces tasted very fishy. The sauces that came along with it were all very good too. We both said we probably wouldn't order this again. But the star of the show was definitely the Ribeye de la Casa! Holy perfection! Steak was cooked exactly how I love it, it literally couldn't have been better! It paired so perfectly with the garlic paste they gave us on the side and it just melted in your mouth! The two little cheese quesadillas that came with our meal were also a nice touch! The little container of beans was a bit comical would have like to get more those for the price of the meal;) Also, the salsa macha we had the first time we came had little seeds, chilis etc in it and this time just the oil.... we liked it better with all the stuff. All in all it was a fantastic night and an even more fantastic meal. We highly recommend this restaurant for all of your special occasions!

Yelp
Excellent and welcomed addition to the downtown Chandler restaurant scene. This place offers a great getaway from the mundane and ordinary and transports you away to a chic, contemporary Latin oasis. The food is excellent. Our waiter Matthew provided excellent and very attentive service and he was super helpful with making great recommendations that we enjoyed. What we loved the most about this place is the variety on the menu which included traditional Mexican dishes, pastas, salads as well as succulent steaks and surf&turf. The Ribeye rivals that of any $$$$ steakhouse. Strong it recommend this place and will be back for sure!

Yelp
Arrived on a Tuesday evening for my birthday, they were able to seat my husband and I within 10 minutes. The atmosphere is nice, love the lighting and decor. Our waiter was great. Our food came out faster than we expected. We ordered the guacamole and chips for our appetizer. The guacamole tasted like the premade kind you purchase at Costco which I'm not a fan of. I like fresh and this was disappointing. We didn't finish it which is something I have always done, this was the first. Our food came shortly afterwards. I ordered the enchiladas and my husband the chicharron burger. He said that his was very good but the fries were not hot, mine was almost cold. I did let the waiter know and he replaced it. This time is was warm but barely. I can't deny that it was flavorful but I like my food to arrive hot. We might try again.

Yelp
My husband and I were planning on heading north, but with a crazy downpour coming, we made it to downtown Chandler and started looking for a spot for dinner. Miel de Agave came up and it looked new and fun, so we decided to stop in for a date night dinner. The atmosphere is definitely more date-nightesque, but they have a kids menu so it could be a family spot as well. We decided to start with the Tacos Dorados appetizer, which were 4 potato tacos topped with queso fresco, served with a side of red and green salsa. We also got some guacamole with chips. Both were good but the tacos were definitely more flavorful. The crunchy taco shell was nice, and the two salsas added a nice hint of heat. The guacamole could've used a little more salt and heat. For our meals, I selected the Green Chili Cream Enchiladas with chicken and my husband got the Birria Torta. The enchiladas were tasty; the green chili cream sauce was nice as creamy, as the name indicated and the arugula & pickled onions were a nice touch. I was initially thinking I was going to miss not having the traditional side of rice & beans but with the "salad", I actually didn't! My husband liked the torta as well; it was large and a bit messy but tasty. It was definitely a fork-and-knife sandwich. Fries were good too. We rounded out the meal with the Tres Leches Cake with ice cream. It wasn't overly sweet but just ok. They have a few other options to pick from as well. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant. Service was good and they have a lot of interesting things on the menu. Will be back to try something else in the future!

MM E.

Yelp
Miel de Agave food rating 6/10 Waited 25 minutes to be seated. Service was disorganized -- no silverware, no napkins, no water refills. Our server kept pushing the chipotle pasta as "the best thing," but the food we ordered was just okay. Ceviche was mostly onions. Cute vibe, but I don't get the hype. Wouldn't come back.

Yelp
Service was excellent! Matthew was our waiter and he was very efficient and friendly! I had the ibirria tacos and they were delicious, although were a tad soggy. Cocktails were beautiful and yummy. Deco is very cool and it has an energetic vibe if a bit loud.

Yelp
Celebrated my birthday here last weekend. The restaurant is gorgeous . The service was great...food came out quickly. Loved the drinks and the food was fantastic. Favorites were the birria tacos, ribeye, elote and chicharron appetizers and potato taco appetizer (a little spicy!). All so flavorful! Wish they offered chips and salsa as an app and the burger was just ok. Don't leave without trying the tres leches cake!!

Yelp
Plenty of onsite parking. Really cute spot. A sort of dark ambiance inside. They had live music when we were there on a Sunday night. The music was a little loud but that's okay. Our service was excellent. Caleb is an excellent server, very friendly and attentive. The cocktails were excellent, well balanced, also pretty to look at. The appetizers were just okay. The elote was bland, the corn tasted more like it was boiled instead of roasted. The ceviche was very bland. Everything was very fresh in the ceviche, however it lacked flavor. It definitely needed more salt and lime or lemon juice. The entrees were excellent though! My boyfriend got the carne asada which was so flavorful and cooked perfectly. It was also a great price! I had the steak enchiladas which had excellent flavor and came with a lovely salad. The fried ice cream was also excellent! Overall a great spot! I'd skip the elote and ceviche and go straight for the entrees and dessert! Will definitely come back.

Yelp
My wife and I went to Miel de Agave for dinner tonight. When you walk in, the inside is a little dark but has a great vibe with cool decor. We have been there once before with friends for drinks and appetizers which were delicious, so we were excited to try their food. First, the appetizers we tried during our first visit were the tuna tiradito and shrimp ceviche. The tuna is so good! The ceviche is good but the big shrimp are a little overcooked. Tonight, our server was Ana, who was amazing! Ana was very attentive and helpful with answering questions. We wanted some ceviche so we gave it another shot, again, great flavor but the same thing with the shrimp. My wife ordered the Infamous Quesabirria tacos and I ordered the green chile cream enchiladas. The tacos were good but my wife was a little disappointed in the lack of crispy cheese crust. The enchiladas were decent, I ordered two steak and one chicken. The steak was good but the chicken was dry and there wasn't much of it. If you want the enchiladas, get the steak. If I could break my rating up, I would give 5 stars for service, mixed drinks, and the tuna tiradito, the ceviche would probably get 3.5 stars, and the tacos and enchiladas would get 3 stars. This place is cool and has great drinks, we will be back for drinks and appetizers but I might go somewhere else for Mexican food.

Yelp
We've been wanting to try Miel De Agave for months since they opened in DT Chandler! Finally got the chance tonight and they did not disappoint. Matthew took care of us and he was fantastic! Super helpful recommendations and every drink we ordered came out incredibly fast, which is super rare at most restaurants these days. Ambiance is fantastic- we loved the live music! 10/10 date night spot. Ask for Matt when you come in!

Yelp
The ambiance is excellent. I had the birria tacos on a suggestion from the waitress Belle. They were excellent. Maybe the best I've ever had. The meat is tender and soft, a nice consume for the sauce with beans and cotija and a spicy sauce to add if you are interested. Highly recommend. Excellent service. The tres leches for dessert was perfect.

Yelp
Brought my brother in law here for dinner and he was blown away. Our server Jazmyn was amazing. She knew what to recommend and we never had to ask for anything. This place is legit. High end Mexican cuisine! Everything was fantastic. We are all leaving with a food coma. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
The decor is nice and elegant. I like the dark atmosphere with a table light that you can control from bright to warm tones. Luis our server was great. He had some amazing recommendations in which we tried. I had the El Beso drink but substituted the vodka for Luis's recommendation for tequila. The buzz ball in the drink is a great addition to the drink as it does change the flavor in a fun way. Be prepared as the buzz ball is a bitter but worth it. Next I had the ribeye agua chile as an appetizer based on Luis's recommendation. He checked on us quite frequently which I enjoy. I don't feel forgotten about. Between the apps and drinks, I was feeling full and just ready for dessert. I like the fact that they give you a card to review in real time for a free drink or dessert. Whenever I am back in the Phoenix area, I'll be back.

Yelp
We had the best experience tonight! Jose is a phenomenal bartender and knows his way around the whole menu! He was able to help us pick out two entrees that were perfect! I highly recommend you ask for him for the most perfect experience! We had the greatest date and he played a big part! The food is phenomenal!! The enchiladas and surf and turf are out of this world!!!

Yelp
This was our third time at Miel De Agave, and honestly it was the best yet! Every visit gets better, and tonight's dinner sealed the deal that this is one of our favorite spots in Chandler. Our server Matthew was awesome, friendly, attentive, and really made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. We started with the chicharrón and calamari, both perfectly crispy and packed with flavor. For our mains, we had the Sonora tacos and Bacanora tacos, and they were next level -- tender meat, bold flavors, and that perfect balance of spice and freshness. Everything tasted incredible, the vibe was great as always, and the service was spot on. Can't wait to come back again. This place never misses!

Yelp
A new, highly anticipated addition to DT Chandler. Came in to celebrate my husbands birthday with some friends and some things were done really well and others not so much. The good: -Calamari appetizer is very tasty, the calamari was cooked perfectly and the accompanying sauces are great -My husband loved the birria torta and bacanora pasta. -The menu is varied and looks good and has something for everyone The not-so-good: -Miel de Agave markets themselves as a Mexican steakhouse but the steaks we ordered were just bad. The Steak frites dish was ordered medium but had an inconsistent cook with some pieces medium but quite a few almost well-done. My ribeye was ordered medium rare but was almost blue --I waited longer after the rest of the group received their food and my steak wasn't even warm. The middle was cool and raw and the outside had a very weak sear. For $65 this was disappointing -Service was friendly but non-existent once we received our food. Our waitress was just too busy. We never got water or soda refills and I was waiting for a while to bring my steak issue to attention by the waitress. By the time it was addressed, everyone else was done and I didn't want to wait to have the dish remade. We ordered a $70 bottle of wine to share and the employee that brought it out couldn't even open the bottle --we had to open it for her and she spilled the wine while pouring it. -As an apology for the cook on the steak, we received a complimentary slice of cake to share but it was frozen in the middle Overall, the restaurant is aesthetic and cute and sit-down restaurants are very welcome in the area. We really wanted to love this spot but unfortunately for a $350+ dinner it was a disappointing experience.

Yelp
Food was awesome!! The ambiance was great. Prices were very very high compared to everything else in Chandler. $26 for a drink? Cmon! $36 for a carne plate? $22 for tacos? Save this spot for a special occasion.
