Located in a large public market in the neighborhood of Tepito, which is known to be a rough area to live in. Bourdain had: A michelada (from a nearby stall), migas (hambone broth prepared with garlic, onion, peppers, and epazote, thickened with stale bread and leftover tortillas). Breakfast dates: Jorge Pedro Uribe Llamas, popular blogger on Mexico City society and author of El gran libro de la ciudad CDMX; Alfonso Hernández, renowned historian of Tepito’s underworld and director of the Centro de Estudios Tepiteños (Center for Tepito Studies).

The food was delicious, only the customer service was a little weird

if you want to try migas this is the place to be. Staff are all nice and the food is very very very delicious. But if you’re not a explorer and don’t like street food, although this is not street vendor.

Iconic restaurant that has been in the family for over fifty years and is currently run by the third generation of descendants! The outdoor tables are usually crowded, so usually there is a small wait. Go early because sometimes their traditional bone soup (Migas) sells out. The soup is not for the faint of heart, but for those who appreciate it, it is hearty and delicious. You will get messy eating it, especially if you want to slurp up all the delicious bone marrow.

This is a must, try the package with soup (migas) (with or without bones, but the bones are delicious) and the tostada. You will be full enough to roll away for just 80 pesos! You can also get a wide assortment of tortas, tacos and quesadillas served as well!

Saw this place on an old Anthony Bourdain episode. Eat the migas, it's great. Live music to boot.
