In the last three days I’ve been in two locations. I used to go to Mighty Quinn, BBQ but it’s been a long time and their menu has changed. The entire staff and managers in both locations (Kareem and Isaiah) were absolutely wonderful. They went out of their way to take my orders and make sure I was happy. They were seriously helpful and surprisingly very upbeat in comparison to a lot of other restaurants I frequent. Often you can see people don’t absolutely love their jobs. These managers could make your day with their fabulous welcoming attitudes. If you like barbecue, the food is really good. We actually ordered takeout for Father’s Day and we were going to eat home. Then we decided to go out. Instead of canceling my order, I just decided to pick it up and save it for another day! I ordered the Father’s Day Brontosaurus rib(One of those menu changes) And there was no way I was going to have to wait till the next special occasion to get it! I don’t know what I loved more the food or just being in the restaurant with all these happy Employees. Thank you for making a simple order of food a memorable Experience.

Have gone to other Mighty Quinn’s around the city this was the first for the midtown one. How is it you had no ribs ? To be a bbq joint and not have ribs should be illegal . The staff were great service with a smile very clean and let you try sides before you order them . Besides the fact that I was traumatized by them not having ribs everything we ok and I would come back if they had ribs

A solid spot for lunch thanks to a very affordable meal despite being in an area known for tourism. They can be quite packed and the service can be a bit slow at times, so come with some time to spare. Ordering is self-service with touch screens and pickup is by person. You can see the servers preparing the bowls behind the counter with large pots of food. Seats are more plentiful than I initially thought, but they can fill up very quickly. I got the burnt ends with broccoli when I came. Upon getting your order, you also get sauce on the side. However, the ends are one of the items that come with sauce, unlike the brisket. Unfortunately, the sauce is much too strong for me. It's sweet and tangy, but I barely get any of the meat flavor through how strong it is. It was also a good amount already on the food, so the extra sauce was pointless for me. I had to dilute it a bit by just eating it with the vegetables. I probably will try a different menu item next time I come. The veggies were good and, while I couldn't taste the meat, the texture of it was very toothsome and well cooked.

Food is good. There's some variability but this location hasn't disappointed me yet. Turkey is surprisingly good, smokey but not dry. I thought it was seasonal for Thanksgiving but I'm not complaining. It's reliably my second meat along with ribs for my go-to 2 meat sampler order. Ambience is the same as other MQ location. Black paint and lots of wood. Not much to say there. It's a bit smaller than some other locations but chances are you're taking good back to your office. I'm writing this review mainly to give a shout out for the customer service. They proactively communicated that it would be a few minutes for the ribs today which I was fine with. Didn't mind having an excuse to not return to the chaos at work right away so I was fine, and I like to think I didn't look pissed or anything. But they did their best to make up for the wait, offering a drink and adding cornbread to my order. Small gestures but they were greatly appreciated.

I had a really good experience at Mighty Quinn's. I think I may have tried them out before several years ago but I don't remember what I ordered. This time around, I ordered the brisket rice bowl lunch special, which I had with the mac n cheese. I ordered for takeout and my food was ready and packed when I arrived. They followed my instructions about my sides being packed separately and the people behind the counter were friendly. I didn't stay to eat, but it they had extra bbq sauce on the table and plenty of open chairs to sit. The brisket came with a nice sized portion and it had a decent amount of meat vs fat. I prefer a leaner brisket cut, so that was good. It was really flavorful and tender. It falls apart in your mouth as you eat it, which, I think, is the sign of a nice smoked meat. The rice was also a good portion but was a little bit greasy. The Mac n cheese was a nice consistency and it was savory. I do think it was missing something though to give it that little oomph. I also tried their bread pudding dessert, which was surprisingly really great. It was more an after thought to add it to my order but I really enjoyed it. Overall: 7.5/10

There was a missing item and without hesitation, they remade it, let me keep the messed up order and offered a free item and wouldnt take no for an answer.

- Let me start by saying this place is AMAZING! Since moving to NYC I've been trying to find a bbq place comparable to the south. This place was a great example of what I would expect from ordering food at a local place who specializes in smoking and all-around bbq. My personal favorites were the sides. I ordered the Mac & cheese and french fries and they were amazing. For my main dish I got the bbq sandwich. It was maybe a bit excessively greasy but overall VERY GOOD! I admire the modern decor on the inside and the workers were very friendly and efficient.

Came here during lunch time for their lunch time deal that ends at 3pm and you definitely hit the spot When you go in there's a lot of seating! You order at the kiosks there's 2-3 of them. It's easy to order but it gets busy and takes a while if the people the the kiosk can't make up their mind on what they want. If you want to pay cash you can just pay at the register Food comes out quickly- you can get to go for dine in and it comes on a tray. Workers are all nice I got the rice bowl and upgraded to Burt ends for $2 and it came out to $15 Decent amount of food for the price. And there are sauces on the tables to try (spicy like chili was so good) -The burnt ends were good - tangy bbq and flavorful. Some pieces were good but others were a little dry - Slaw isn't bad- not as saucy and a little bland - cornbread was good wish it was warm and come with like butter. On the sweet side and flavorful - Mac and cheese wasn't too bad either - creamy and cheesy - Brussels sprouts- so good! Favorite thing there - pickled cucumber and pickled onion were avg I'd come here again during linch if I'm in the area

I thought this was the bbq restaurant I tried near Nets stadium in BK, which I could never forget the candied bacon & pecan pie. So, I stopped in. Only to see neither on the menu so if you know what restaurant I'm talking about in BK pls dm me! Lol Nonetheless, this brisket and sandwich is so good! Their sweet sauce is niiice! And, here they had brisket empanadas! Omg I'm a total fan. Great to dip in the bbq sauce btw. The staff are young & cool. This is definitely a splurge cheat meal worth every penny & lasts 2 days. I get the feeling this location may have a limited menu but I see there are many around the nyc/nj area so try your luck at any one! Go, enjoy!!

We found this place through a food delivery app and was decently surprised. The food was very quickly made/delivered and we really enjoyed the meal. We got two 2 Meat samplers and added on all the pickles for no price. For both platters we got spare ribs and then chose briskets and burnt ends for the other option. 2 Meat Sampler -$19 - Burnt Ends Platter (+$2.50) (5/5) This was so good. A little greasy but so soft and juicy. The sauce was also great - Brisket Platter (+ $2.50) (2/5) This was very dry with no flavor. I would not get this again - Spare Ribs Platter (5/5) Surprisingly the best part of the meal. There were generous amount of pieces and each piece had huge chunks of meat. The meat was a little greasy, which probably made it taste even better, and each piece fell off the bone! - Pickled veggies (4/5) This really helped with the greasiness Corn bread - $3.5 (3/5) Just ok cornbread. It was much better with butter. The portions did not seem big but because each piece was quite greasy, we were stuffed after finishing the plate. I would come back for the ribs and burnt ends!

Came with a group after work because we were craving BBQ. I orders the three meat plate with ribs, chicken and sausage. There was plenty of other food ordered by the others. My plate was good. Not great. The sauces were good, not great. Everyone else agreed that it was good, not great. Especially for the price we paid. We aren't cheap, and I'm from California so I know premium prices, but it was just good. The only great item was the bread pudding. It is a must have. The drop in stars is because we all ordered at once and our orders came out staggered over 20 minutes because they "lost" one persons order. Unacceptable. When she brought it to their attention they fixed it with no apology or concession. She has to eat fast so we could make our next appointment. In all it's ok. If you need BBQ it's the only one in the immediate area and will fill the fix.

My first experience with Mighty Quinn's was during the pandemic. I spent a portion of my lockdown ordering barbecue from across the country through Goldbelly. That's were I discovered Mighty Quinn. It was really good when I ordered it, so I excited to try it in New York. I visited a location close to my hotel in Manhattan. It is very close to Time's Square. The inside is small, but I think it was on point for NY. It was beautifully decorated with large windows to people watch with your meal. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They were able to help me decide between the numerous options. Also, since I wanted to eat part now and save some for later, they held chicken so it would be hot. Much appreciated. I ate the brisket and ribs there and took the chicken to go. The brisket was firm and tender with a nice bite. The ribs were tasty with a good seasoning and bite. I don't eat sauce, so I can't review that. I would definitely eat there again when in NY or order online. The pickled peppers, onions, etc are to die for.

I got the rice bowl with brisket, Cole slaw and brussel sprouts. Just came from this place. Honestly , would probs give a 2.5 stars. The brisket is pretty bland without the barbecue sauce. Where's the spices? Where's the flavor? They ran out of Mac and cheese before I ordered and you can't substitute anything for rice so I got what I got, they didn't even offer to double up me on some coleslaw or maybe give some fries (not sure if that's allowed). I did however ask to get a cornbread which I know is inexpensive as a third side and they said ok. Also got a joe's lemonade which upon drinking was crazy sugary (57grams!). Honestly I know this isn't where you come for a healthy meal but my main gripes are: how do you manage to run out of Mac and cheese when it is the most popular side dish? Why do you offer rice as a base for a bowl, who eats white rice with bbq? A lot of ppl forgo rice these days. Lastly, fix the menu. I'd never been to this location before but was so confused. The rice bowl is unclear. Maybe call it a "Combo Bowl" or a "Mix Up bowl" instead to convey you can try a bunch of things. Ultimately I paid $22 for a lackluster lunch when I could have gone to the deli with the sandwich bar across the street and gotten 2lbs worth of food for the same price. I've been to your LES location a while back. Not sure if all locations have changed or just this one. A bit disappointed.

I loved the Mighty Quinn. Two wonderful women, Tamika and another woman took care of us. Tamika thought the chicken was too dry and cooked up another chicken. It was absolutely worth the wait, best bbq chicken! Had the vinegar Cole slaw, pickles and cornbread and I waddled out a happy women! Highly recommend.

Avoid this place like the plague -- I'd give zero stars if I could. I waited 1 hour for my food after they told me it'll be ready in 8 minutes. Then they told me that only lean brisket is left and I'd have to wait 15 more minutes for the next slab. I gave up and told them lean was fine and that still wasn't ready. So I told the lady to cancel and then she said "that's what I'm doing now" and then voided my order only to have the brisket ready immediately after she canceled it and then told me "I ain't giving a pound of brisket out for free" and lied to me about ever saying it'll take 15 minutes. I got really angry and upset at this woman and she continued to lie about telling me it would take 15 minutes. The rest of the staff was kind and tried to de-escalate and as I walked out she even teased me about it getting my food.

I really wanted to like Mighty Quinn's. I heard good things about this place a while ago and was nearby so decided to go. I got the Half Chicken with Jasmine Rice. The chicken wasn't so good on its own but tasted better with the sauce they provided. The rice was edible but not tasty. It also seemed kind of old because it lacked moisture. My boyfriend got the pulled pork sandwich. It wasn't the best but he ate it all. He enjoyed the sweet potato side he got. Our friends both got the chicken, ribs, and brisket platter but they were not impressed. The brisket was the only thing that was decent for them. The ribs barely had any meat and wasn't juicy. Sadly we will not be returning here. With prices that high you would think you'd get delicious BBQ.

Would I come back: I'd consider it. Food: Ribs - 3/5 - Pretty standard taste and it was slightly on the drier side. Pulled Pork - 3/5 - It was a smallish portion. The sauce made it wet but I'd say the sauce wasn't infused into the meat. Sweet Potato Mash - 3/5 - Not a typical dish I get with my bbq usually. I wasn't blown away by it and it was interesting. It's good Barbecue. Just off Times Square. It's a bit spendy for fast casual dining but it is barbecue and it's in New York. Single serving of meat and a side is probably around 15 bucks. Not outrageous but ok, I always need two meats. Not hard to get to 20-25 bucks with a drink if you ask me but I guess you can hold back. The brisket is good. Super tender, nice flavor. I also had the sausage. Good but not great. Sides? Great options, I had the Brussels sprouts with balsamic vinegar. My friend had the Mac and Cheese and raves about it but I didn't get a taste. Looked good. Their sauce is on the tables. It's good but it's not particularly noteworthy. Not spicy, maybe a touch on the sweet side. Any of the meats come with some coke slaw and some spicy peppers. Nice addition. Staff was super friendly. I wouldn't mind going back but I don't know if I would go looking for it. Let me put it this way, I don't think you will be mad if you come here.

I was hoping for what we were paying that it'd be great, but was sorely disappointed, and now just a little while later, hungry again. Both the burnt ends and pulled pork were lukewarm by arrival. The portions were incredibly small for the price paid, even compared to other BBQ joints. Flavor was okay at best, even with sauce added. Burnt ends also missed the "burnt"memo. I thought the fries were good, the other guy I was working with didn't like them at all. Corn fritters were probably my favorite part, but that was about it. Essentially almost $50 worth of food to feel barely filled. I only got filled up by eating most of the corn fritters. Best part of the whole thing was probably the packaging. Since it was an uber order, it came in a bag that was stapled shut, organized well with eco friendly containers. It was a pretty package for food that didn't meet the bar, unfortunately.

The newest location of the solid BBQ chain already has a crazy line on day 1, as midtown office workers are desperate for more of these good, quick options. They have the same menu of delicious BBQ and sides as at all of the other locations. Definitely get the brisket and/or the burnt ends, also great as sandwiches.

Sad to write a less than stellar review, especially given the lack of good BBQ places! But unfortunately, the brisket left a lot to be desired. We were excited to try this place, having moved from a place with pretty good BBQ. We got a full pound of brisket - unfortunately it was pretty damn dry, like it had been losing moisture in a heater for quite a while. You can see that it was basically flaking apart - and not in a good way. The seasoning and smoke flavor were fine, but we normally enjoy brisket for the delicious fattiness/juiciness and it was sorely lacking here. Pros: Mac and cheese was great! Staff were friendly, and super helpful too. Also a decent amount of seating for a Midtown spot.

As someone who loves BBQ brisket I appreciate this place being so close to where I work in the Garment District. The food here is really good and the wait isn't long. The meats/mains here are really good. I have had both the brisket and the burnt ends and I enjoyed both very much. They are tender, juicy and they add a little bit of salt to add flavoring. Optionally you can add their BBQ sauce on your foods and it pairs really well. The sides here are also great and I especially like the bread pudding! Its very warm, sweet and fluffy. I have also had the sweet potatoes here and I remember those where good as well. Unfortunately none of these are free and are done a la carte. There is not a lot of stuff that you can get as a free side with your main but I have had the cucumbers here and eating those with the burnt-ends is tasty. I don't see long lines here that much which is great because you can get your food really fast. It is also really easy to get a seat here since there are a lot, its spacious and not too crowded. Overall this is a pretty good place to grab a lunch if your OK with spending a few extra dollars or want to treat yourself. I wouldn't come here every day (not just for the expense but also health reasons) but I love coming in here when I do.

Ordered from this place on ubereats. Food came pretty fast. The meats tasted decent and better with sauce . I got the 3 meat platter with the pork ribs, 1/4 chicken and brisket. The 1/4 was pieces of chicken( no bone). I got 4 pieces of pork ribs with good amount of meat on it. I also ordered corn fritters and Mac and cheese. I got 5 pieces of corn fritters that a bit on the salty side. They forgot my Mac and cheese and gave me fries- which is not an appropriate substitution. Update: was able to get refund for the missing Mac and cheese.

The food was great as always. The smokehouse bowl is out of this world, so many flavors playing around in my mouth. Stopped by for a quick dessert - I had previously tried their s'mores bread pudding (it was AMAZING) and was hoping the peach bread pudding would be as good. Ok its own it's okay (I wish the peach and creme anglaise flavors were more assertive) but the peach bread pudding definitely pales in comparison to the s'mores version. This place gets 3 stars. It is overly priced and food is cold. I ordered the single serve pulled pork with sweet potato casserole side. My husband ordered the brontosaurus with a side of baked beans. The pulled pork was cold and the single serving is not generous for the $9 it cost. The brontosaurus for the price of $35 was warm but did not impress me. The place seems to not be swept all day. They probably only sweep once a day. For the high traffic they get of people in and out they should sweep the floor more often. The staff was nice and friendly.

This is a fast casual spot that offers very good BBQ. A single (and decent sized) serving of one of their meats is about $10, with any sides being extra. I had their beef brisket and found it be very juicy and tender, with a good smoky flavor. This particular location is smaller than some of their others with limited seating and appears geared toward the midtown office crowd.

5/5 because The food is really good though I've only tried the chicken options Considering the space I wasn't expecting a full Barbeque joint like this so that was a cool surprise and a nice change from burgers and tacos It arrived reasonably quickly (and worth the short wait) The place is clean for how messy the food is Good sized seating area, space for plenty of people, plus outdoor seating on broadway Cool rustic interior design matches the food The service is friendly The quality that you get is above average when factoring price, a solid place for lunch, though maybe not the healthiest It's somewhere I'd go again, maybe 3 times a month, the food is consistent so I can bank on it when too lazy or not in the mood to explore The chicken is juicy and cooked really well with a nice crisp, any of the dressings that come with it is delicious, honey is my favorite though Coleslaw and pickles also go really well with it The dessert is on the heavier side but do go for the fritters, they're great Not a fancy spot to eat at, would bring a friend for a quick bite, that's as far as me recommending it goes

Ordered delivery to the hotel. The Brontosaurus rib was pretty good that i would order again. the pickled veggies are a refreshing treat for the heavy meal. I didn't care for the sweet corn fritters and the sweet dip - not a great option for delivery and it was kinda cold by the time i got to the food. I had some frustration with the delivery service. I specified a 7:45pm delivery to the hotel as I had estimated I'd be in my room by that time. However, the food was delivered at 7pm. Usually this is a good thing to get delivery sooner but I wasn't there since i specified a time. I had trouble understanding the delivery person and since i had to scrabble out of the office, i told him to leave at the front desk. i wasn't sure if he understood me or if he was still waiting for me at the lobby. It was frustrating as i thought maybe the delivery person left without leaving the food. Anyway...in the end he left it with the hotel concierge. I wish the restaurant would have packed plates and more napkins.

Very disappointed. Brisket was dry and burnt ends were hard as stones. Chicken wings were decent. Baked beans were ok but too sweet. Overall not a good experience. What happened to BBQ in New York?
