I was looking for places to eat in Dallas since I was gonna be there for Memorial weekend and tour the city a little bit afterwards. Found this place cause of all the good reviews, and I'm so glad I stopped by!
This location has a fairly small parking lot that is shared with a laundry mat, so get here early if possible. It's also a small dining area too, so make note of that. We saw most people actually get their orders as take out, but luckily there were still some tables available. You'll place your order at the counter then pick up whenever it's ready; it's made to order, so it maybe took about 20 minutes.
We had ordered the 3 piece spicy fried chicken, which comes with 2 sides, 1 buttermilk biscuit, and a dipping sauce. Our sides were the creamy corn, coleslaw, and French fries. I had also ordered a medium Mac n cheese cause this was our first meal for the day, and we were starving! For our dipping sauce, which really wasn't necessary (more to this later), we got the honey mustard and chipotle mayo. Reason why you don't really need the dipping sauce is cause the chicken was so juicy on its own that you didn't need it. Hot, fresh, and just downright delicious, we were in absolute fried chicken heaven. The sides really just amplified the flavors; coleslaw was nice and tangy, and the fries were seasoned and fried just right. The Mac n cheese was ooey, gooey goodness, and the buttermilk biscuit was the cherry on top! Buttery and flaky all at once.
If you are ever in the area, or even if you're not and have a hankering for fried chicken, please find your way here. You really have got to try it!
