11 Great Coffee Places in San Antonio

"Mila offers the usual morning brews, with add-ins like caramel and Mexican vanilla for a little extra flavor. Posted up at Broadway News food truck park, the coffee truck is a favorite amongst the city’s many cyclist groups and other frequent downtowners, especially because it happens to be parked next to renown Michoacán taco truck Carnitas Don Raúl. Takeout orders can be placed online." - Polly Anna Rocha

We had to stop—my wife’s name is Mila, so it felt like destiny! She tried the cappuccino and loved it. The barista was super friendly, and the whole setup is full of personality. Great coffee, great vibes, and now Mila has her own coffee shop… sort of 😄☕️ Ps. The lady in photo is not my wife. Just a random customer 😁

Google
Been meaning to try Mila for a while and glad I finally did. Fantastic vanilla latte. Just a really smooth taste. There always seems to be a line, but they are pretty quick and you get your coffee in no time. Friendly service.

Google
Was recommended to this place by a family friend and was not disappointed! I got an Iced Caramel Latte with almond milk and it was one of the best cup of coffee I have ever had! Can't wait to go back and try other stuff on the menu!

Google
Great location. Coffee is great. Other food trucks available. In between San Antonio Botanical Gardens and San Antonio Museum of Art. Will recommend

Google
Super chill and cute place next to a brewery. It's away from all the hustle and bustle so it's perfect for a sunny morning. Service is excellent and super friendly! I'll be back soon!

Google
This is the best coffee in San Antonio! Unique flavors excellent experience, top quality imported ingredients and excellent service. I have very high expectations myself when it comes to quality of the product, service and price. Any other coffee place around here including Starbucks, simply cannot live up to the expectations. You will not be disappointed!

Google
Coffee was so good!! So glad I stopped here as I'm not typically in this area for coffee but I had an extra short lunch break and my usual spot was closed for the holiday. I highly recommend this place, the Mexican vanilla was perfect and my latte was just as I like it!! Can't wait to go back with the family. Parking is a bit scarce for the amount of businesses in this area so be prepared

Google
I wanted to visit Mila for years - it was the first coffee truck I heard about in SA and I've always thought that was so amazing. I didn't know where to park. The barista was laughing and joking with the people ahead of me, and then seemed extra serious and went quiet when I stepped up with a smile to order. I got a latte and it was okay - the espresso wasn't as good as I was hoping. I was disappointed by the whole experience.

Yelp
Coffee was amazing! Waaaaaaaaayy better than Starbucks!!!! I was visiting San Antonio and ate at Pete's Tako and was not happy with their coffee, so I decided to get one from Mila Coffee across the street before I hit the road back home... I just got home and wishing I had a Mila Coffee in Houston so I can get me another Lattee with chocolate

Yelp
I love Mila coffee! Two locations, but I live near the walk up location. There might be a line but the wait is never long. The service is always friendly and the coffee is reasonably priced and delicious! For reference I paid just over $7 for a 24oz iced Dirty Chai latte with almond milk ($2 tip included) Totally worth it, add this location to your list of coffee spots to visit!

Yelp
The Mexican Vanilla Latte was everything I didn't even know I needed. Will absolutely be back.
google avatar

Yelp
I got an iced latte with oat milk, honey and cinnamon! The drink was really good and the barista was very friendly and personable.

Yelp
I have been to Mila coffee a lot. I like to pick up Pete's Tako House and then get myself a Capuccino. Mila has amazing cappuccinos and Lattes! Their drip coffee is a little bitter for my taste. I also love the location, when it's a nice day outside it's perfect for getting a coffee and sitting in the picnic tables or walking your dog around that area. if you're nearby i recommend picking up a cup of coffee. The baristas are always so nice and I enjoy going!

Yelp
We stopped at this little food truck area just to try Mila's coffee. The two guys inside the truck were extremely nice and knowledgeable. I ordered my coffee based upon their recommendation and it was extremely good. I will definitely be going back , no complaints here. If you're in the area off Broadway, I highly recommend stopping in and getting yourself a nice coffee. I want to mention that the barista was extremely handsome , jet black hair, dark eyes. Another reason to be going back. I love eye candy !

Yelp
Cool little coffee truck-shop in San Antonio. Good coffee. We got a cold brew and a iced latte - both were very solid coffees. Tips: Coffee food truck

Yelp
Went here today after eating at Pete's. Girl at the window was pretty rude and I have no idea why lol sucks to be her. They were out of a few menu items. Coffee was okay. It's a cute spot. There's definitely better places close to here but I'm willing to try it again and maybe at the coffee truck, hopefully employees at that one aren't rude.

Yelp
Such a cute adorable little coffee shop! I was across the street getting tacos at Pete's and I had to stop by for an iced coffee. This place is a cute little building where you walk up and order from their window. They had so many options, that seemed delicious. I opted for the iced caramel latte, and my husband got a cold brew with their Mexican vanilla. We loved our drinks. So yummy, strong, and creamy!! The employees were so sweet and kind which made the service a 10/10. I loved it. Whenever I am back in San Antonio I will be returning!
google avatar

KayLee W.

Yelp
Kind service & fantastic drinks. They have Tweed coffee which is always amazing. Some of my family are regulars here and I can see why!
google avatar

Katherine R.

Yelp
Mila is good at their craft! One of the best cups of coffee I've had and iced lattes. Listen to the other reviews the Mexican Vanilla is one of their specialty and it's ABSOLUTELY delicious! Although sometimes they have a line it goes by fast, they got there service system down! Mila is a classic and one of the best in SA, super happy for there success in getting a second location. A coffee place you won't regret trying trust me!!
google avatar

Yelp
Stopping at Mila is one of the highlights of a normal Friday for me. The coffee is good and the vibes are just right. Service is mostly quick, if there's not a line. Bonus: they usually have breakfast tacos in the morning from Chilaquil and they're fantastic - especially with their salsa.

Liliana W.

Yelp
Great ambiance, nice outdoor seating and a cute little cafe! Espresso was great and so was the horchata latte. Sun came out pretty bright and an employee came out to bring an umbrella after seeing me adjust out of the way of the sun, not much but it's that extra mile that tips it into the 5stars

Kathleen K.

Yelp
I always get an ice latte with vanilla and oat milk, kinda tastes like a toasted marshmallow. So good . I love this place, i remember when they were building it i was excited bc i didn't have to walk and or drive far to get coffee after going to Petes Takos 100% worth it every time i go

Graci K.

Yelp
I was suggested Mila Coffee by a coworker and decided to have it this morning before work! I got an iced latte with vanilla and a donut! The coffee is soooo good!! The guy that took my order was extremely nice and their prices are super great! A cute coffee truck, it is a most definitely a spot you need to check out!
google avatar

L M.

Yelp
The capuchino here is incredibly smooth, make sure you get some of their homemade vanilla in there, you will need nothing else To season your coffee. On top of it, the service is awesome! The guys there were nice enough to explain the concept surrounding their truck and what some of the other trucks sell, it makes me want to come back just for the service... and the vanilla, and the coffee as for ambiance, it's like an oasis in the middle of broadway!b
google avatar

Leonidus M.

Yelp
Amazing coffee and fast service. I always get my coffee here when I'm off & it's a 25 minute drive for me. The coffee is worth any Starbucks in the world. I always have a conversation with the people working there. Super nice & coffee taste AMAZING. Definitely worth it to go!

Elizabeth P.

Yelp
The guys @ the truck were all stars with the customer service & made great recs. More importantly, the milk was steamed perfectly (to pull this art). Overall excellent first time experience there!
google avatar

Christine C.

Yelp
Excellent service, friendly and delicious coffee! Heaven in a cup! Must try if you haven't! This is our family's favorite coffee place in San Antonio. They have two locations.
google avatar

Jose Raul P.

Yelp
Don't let the "coffee truck" fool you! This place has some great tasting coffee year round! I go usually 3 times a week. Monday's they are closed and for some reason Fridays always have a huge line. They have hot and cold drinks and will work with you to find your perfect cup. Usually, I'm in and out within 5 minutes, that's pretty good for most coffee shops in the area. I've had literally everything on the menu and nothing has ever disappointed. It really is about dialing it to your preference when it comes to their house-made syrups and Espresso strength. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
google avatar

Mason A.

Yelp
Hands down best coffee truck in Say-Town! I love finding excuses to stop by here for their espresso, cortado, or cappuccino. Simply the smoothest, strongest, and fastest prepared caffeinated beverage around. So good and very tough to beat these coffee beans! The staff is super nice, payment is fast, and oftentimes if you see a line queuing up its not a problem...it moves fast! Tip: Make sure to park across the street from the Broadway News for your parking, as it is typically not allowed in the parking lot next door to the Mila Coffee Truck.
google avatar

Carolina E.

Yelp
Great Horchata and can be made without coffee if you prefer. Nice variety and pastries look fresh and must be good because they were almost out of them! The Mexican Vanilla coffee seems to be the go to popular drink here. Great personality of batista and the little wagon has style!
google avatar

Yelp
I was in San Antonio for the Fourth of July weekend with the fam. Snook away this morning and came to scope out a taco spot called Pete's. And guess what? Right across is this awsome little coffee joint! Perfect way to start my morning with an Iced Horchata from this place which was very delicious! I'd definitely come back with friends or even just me alone. If your a Starbucks kinda person then you should definitely check this place out!
google avatar

Yelp
10/10 Must stop by this locally owned coffee trailer! I ordered a Mexican Vanilla Iced Latte & it was incredibly smooth and flavorful! Awesome customer service! I'll definitely be back! *Remember to support local! *Don't forget to tip! *Have patience, most businesses are short staffed. *Follow ok IG for updates.

Yelp
I've never been to the actual coffee shop so I didn't get a full experience. However I had their chai latte. This place is one of my friend's favorite coffee shop in San Antonio. It tasted like they steeped their own chai concentrate. Their chai is better than most coffee shops that I've tried in town. I'd give them a 9/10.

Maddy L.

Yelp
Great local spot for high quality coffee. We went to the location off 8th street. You can taste the quality in their ingredients & they are priced very well. They don't charge and arm and leg for a couple of iced lattes. Also the guy who made our coffee was such a sweetheart. We really enjoyed chatting with him while he made our coffee. Didn't catch his name but he talked about skateboarding. He was an absolute delight with exceptional customer service skills.
google avatar

María José T.

Yelp
Excellent coffee, friendly staff and convenient location. I love love their delicious coffee, plus they are located next to a few food trucks that have excellent food. Pay them a visit next time you're near the area!
google avatar

Stefany V.

Yelp
I made a point of trying several coffee trucks during my recent visit to SA. Mila was the first, conveniently located on Broadway, down the street from UIW. Drink menu is straightforward, and they have a small pastry case of goodies available too. Service was fast and friendly - my iced horchata latte definitely hit the spot. A spicy Mexican mocha would probably also do well on their menu as a seasonal special.
google avatar

Rene M.

Yelp
First time here. Came over because this place was highly recommended by a friend. Best Chai Latte ever! I literally chugged my latte and attempted to work, but I was so distracted by how good my drink was that I couldn't focus, and immediately went to go get another one. Ugh! Pure Deliciousness!
google avatar

Kyla S.

Yelp
Second time here, and I was still very happy with my order. Great customer service, and I got a sticker for my laptop! I will definitely be returning again!
google avatar

Joe W.

Yelp
This truck is located near Carnitas Don Raul, so we always get a drink when we get carnitas. The coffee is really a fantastic quality that you will taste instantly! My wife loves coffee a lot more than me, but I can't help but try this place every time!
google avatar

Johnny E.

Yelp
Addicting coffee!! And no, not because of the caffeine lol it just taste that delicious. I'm not in S.A. often, but when I visit I come to Mila. I've met the owner (great guy) when he used to operate alone some days a couple years ago. Now there is almost always a line and employees! It is so nice to see Mila Coffee's success. My go to's are the Iced Horchata and Iced Latte with Vanilla. The prices are moderate. You do get your money's worth. Service is always quick once you order. You get your drink in about 2 minutes after ordering. No complaints here! I absolutely recommend you to stop by and try Mila Coffee if you have not.
google avatar

Fernanda F.

Yelp
Mila Coffee where have you been all my life?! Their Mexican vanilla latte is freaking DE-LI-CIOUS. I've been driving by their coffee truck for the last few weeks, and there's always a huge line of people waiting to order. Finally today I decided to stop to get some coffee and see what the fuss is all about, and OOOOHH MYYYY! Now I know why people keep coming back for more!!!! When I got there, I asked them for their "famous" or "specialty" drink and they suggested the Mexican Vanilla Latte. I first wasn't so sure because I am not a fan of sweet coffees, but this one is the exception. The taste of the coffee is perfectly balance with the vanilla. Is so good and decadent, you keep wanting more! 100% approve of this place and can't wait to come back!
google avatar

Brian F.

Yelp
An easy 5 stars for me. Mexican Vanilla Iced Late was excellent. I don't usually go for sweet items so I asked to go light on the sweet. Super friendly people made this Colorado guy feel welcome.
google avatar

Roland A.

Yelp
Great authentic coffee! Friendly service! I was looking for a coffee shop and came across this gem that happened to be a coffee truck and it was an amazing experience.
google avatar

Caryn K.

Yelp
Mila is tied for my favorite coffee shop in San Antonio!Personally, I think Mila has the BEST (iced) horchata latte ever! I actually spent a couple weekends taste testing iced horchata lattes at various coffee shops across San Antonio and no one came close to the deliciousness of Mila's. I'm also a huge fan of their (iced) Mexican vanilla latte You cannot go wrong by ordering either of these drinks. I specified iced simply because I don't drink hot coffee/lattes, but I've heard their drinks are great "hot" as well. Anyways, if you haven't checked out Mila, I highly encourage you to do so. You won't be disappointed!

Caroline C.

Yelp
I love this coffee. I mean my son got this Saturday and today is Wednesday and it's still awesome (well i refrigerated it) I don't know how it's a combination of strong yet fruity and mellow all at the same time. This is a cold brew. So looking forward to location in Make ReadyCongratulations on your success. PS where's the merch? will soooo want to be a walking billboard for you!
google avatar

Tia H.

Yelp
Bruh. This is some damn good coffee. Went to a place down the street beforehand and it didn't really hit the spot. Decided to get another coffee here and it was wayyyy better. Will def go again.
google avatar

Anna V.

Yelp
Iced Horchata Latte...OMG...I think my life will never ever be the same after Mila's Horcatta Latte. Please note that I am not a coffee drinker...I will usually only drink coffee on extreme circumstances but I have become a Mila regular. Not only is the coffee amazing but the customer service is superb! Great customer service goes a long way and Mila definitely provides stellar service. Support local business, skip Starbucks and stop at Mila. Parking is limited but worth the extra effort.
google avatar

Travis D.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem! Amazing coffee, good vibes and they have a signed Arto Saari Flip deck on the wall. I'll be back every time we come to visit San Antonio
google avatar

Mae S.

Yelp
If you don't know mila coffee you're missing out! What better way to be local than to support your local coffee truck on the hottest spot on Broadway! I love the dirty chai with almond milk and any pastry treat they offer on the counter! 10/10
google avatar

Keke M.

Yelp
Delicious coffee choices and friendly staff to help you make your decision. Perfect location for a pleasant afternoon of coffee, light shopping, live music (depending on the day), and hanging out with friends.
google avatar

Greyson B.

Yelp
Solid coffee that's not overpriced. Perfect little location and super friendly staff!
google avatar

Desiree B.

Yelp
I typically come here on Sunday's mornings. It's located next to many other food trucks and there's a short line but it goes quickly and it's totally worth it. I like the iced oatmilk latte and the horchata latte. Super good and the workers (owners?) are pretty friendly
google avatar

Yvette A.

Yelp
One of the best spots to get good coffee. I got the slow drip with two pumps of vanilla. My wife got the vanilla latte. Both awesome we left with a bag of their ground beans. Can't wait to go back again!
google avatar

Caitlin H.

Yelp
Quick service and super good iced latte! They were super friendly too and, combined with the coffee, really made my day.
google avatar

Yelp
Mila Coffee, oh Mila Coffee. How do I love thee? Let me count the ways... 1. My first foray into Coffee Trucks was with Mila. I had seen many instagram photos of the famed Fruit Cereal Donut by Cake Thieves and knew I needed to try. My first visit, they were all sold out. But I was won over with the coffee. 2. The two men I see manning the truck most often are so very passionate about coffee, and each pour has so much care and craft. My very first latte art I ever had was from Mila. I was won over in a heartbeat. 3. I eventually DID get my fruity pebbles donut. These vegan treats are every bit as delicious as their non-vegan brethren. This one and the oreo donuts are my favorites. 4. One of the guys has the best mustache I've ever seen. 5. They are SO EFFING FRIENDLY. I will constantly see the guys from Mila and the guys from Theory Coffee Truck advertising for each other and it's the absolute sweetest, most heartwarming thing. Small business owners supporting each other makes my heart grow three sizes. Be it hot or iced, coffee or other, you're in for a real special treat. It's in a great location--close proximity to The Pearl but away from the hustle and bustle.

Cary C.

Yelp
New to the San Antonio area so we thought we would check out an OG coffee truck. The Chai Tea latte and Cortado was excellent!! Very friendly and service included tips on places to see and experience in San Antonio. Definitely going to be a regular stop.
google avatar

Erin P.

Yelp
Mila Coffee is AMAZING! Black and lattes are great. The spot is so much fun. You can walk around their lot to see cool shops, bakeries and juice ties as well as walk a few blocks and be at The Pearl (which we would rather in comparison to the other coffee offered there). Service was great as well. Would love to have a brick and mortar shop one day!
google avatar

Viviana P.

Yelp
First off, they were so quick!! It was raining and there wasn't a line. Guy who took my order was very polite. Very professional and quick! Parking can be a little confusing but you are allowed to park in the parking lot in front of Liquor store if you are just picking up. I did not see any outdoor seating areas. I got the Mexican Vanilla Iced Latte and OMG best thing I've ever had. I also got a pop tart because they just look so pretty but it also tasted amazing!! I can't wait to go back.
