Stop playing with the real Italians 🙌🏾 this pizza is the most delicious I have had in Long Beach ! I got 2 cheese slices just to test the water , and I wish I got a whole pie 😩 definitely a place to take a date , eat solo or take the kids out ! 2 slices for $9 can’t beat that ! Especially in Cali ! New York taste is definitely there !

Google
I stumbled into this page just as I was searching my phone for a pizza place. They serve a variety of slices and they had a deal with a slice, a salad and a drink. The pizza was pretty good but the unexpected star of the show was the Caesar salad. Probably the best I ever had. Probably really bad for you since it had a ton of dressing and croutons but it was so good I scarfed it down.

Irene Conforti

Google
The crispiness is unmatched and I can’t overemphasize how perfect the vodka sauce is for dipping. Jennifer is a professional and the pizza is outstanding. Whether a single slice or a whole pie they are serving delicious pizza with lots of love!

Michael Dillenbeck

Google
Dare I say the best pizza I have had in quite a while. Crisp to perfection. Sauce, beautifully crafted with a light tang partnered with some sweetened tomatoes. Amazing cheese. Ingredients and preparation that shows a passion for the pie. Well done...I will be back!

Google
Pretty damn good white slice, $7 for a small slice is a little wild tho and will give culture shock to anyone from the east coast despite all the subway themed decor, but that’s kinda typical for pizza and bagels in Long Beach 😅 Parking is street and metered but you can press “time” on meter for free 15 minutes if you’re running in for pick up Lots of shops walking distance in promenade are, mostly small non-chain shops, restaurants and bars which is nice if you’re visiting and want to experience something new.

Best pizza around. Only place I go for a real New York pizza. Great service, friendly staff and great food. I love the New York vibe

Google
I’m from Queens, New York! And we take our pizza very seriously. It’s a religion out there and one of our staple food. When I heard about Milana’s and heard the owner is from Brooklyn I had to come check it out. And man let me tell you, it’s one of the best pizzas not only in Long Beach but in LA and OC too. They used fresh ingredients daily and use ricotta cheese and it’s baked to perfection. Do yourself a favor and leave little Cesar’s, Pizza Hut and dominoes alone and come try a taste from New York in the LBC.

Google
Thought this pizza was absolutely delicious. Had the pepperoni and ricotta and margherita squares and enjoyed the taste. I for one enjoyed the extra garlic flavour in the margherita slice! Awesome decor inside and great staff working as well. Will come back next time Im in Long Beach!

Yelp
Food was delicious and staff so down to earth. A true NEW YORK style cuisine! When I dined in it was delicious and when I got take out it still did not disappoint! Bring your family or grab something on your break at work. You have gotten a regular Milanas!

Yelp
$13 for any 2 slices Very Average & Overpriced, A big No. far from a good NY pizza , I wonder how they got so many good reviews!!!

Yelp
$14 cheese pizza for their 14th anniversary. Online ordering wasn't working for me, I called in and someone promptly picked up and took my order. Pizza was ready when I arrived. Classic NY cheese hit the spot. I added ranch but $1.50 is very expensive for the small side of ranch. Buttermilk ranch is very good. Parking: there were meters right out front, only 25 cents for 25 minutes. Parking structure nearby as well, first two hours free. I'd like to come back to try their other pizzas, especially the white ones.

Yelp
News flash. Best pizza in long beach This place offers pizza by the slice And whole pizzas. when you walk in you can see all different pizzas behind the counter ready to order by the slice for around - 5 dollars on average You go up to the counter and order. To be honest I think It's a better deal if you order a whole pizza which will cost you about on average 30 I came here for lunch with my mom. I planned on getting a white pizza (which I'm obsessed with) but the friendly worker talked me into the Vodka - Roni one. (Vodka pink sauce with spicy pepperoni cups) side note, the pepperoni did not taste spicy to me at all This place also has pasta and other Italian food The ingredients tasted fresh and gave me nostalgic flashbacks from all my time spent in New York. I'd say this is your typical new York pizzeria. I'd have to say this is easily the best pizza in long beach. the dough was thin and crispy but not burnt, the perfect amount of sauce where it wasn't too overpowering and you could tell it was homemade and it was the perfect amount of grease where it comforted me without making me feel like a total grubby little monster. Next time I come back I'll have to try their white pizza Their ambience is nothing fancy. Typical pizzeria. But it was clean. So I'll give it 5 stars. Their customer service was GREAT. The guy behind the counter would greet everyone as soon as they walked in the door. He was really patient with us since it was our first time. He wasn't annoyed at all that we had questions and took a while to decide. So 5 stars for him! And for the food. A perfect 5 stars, BUT! I didn't like that I had to pay 1.50 for a side of SMALL ranch. I know I'm not the only lunatic that orders ranch with their pizza. Sure, I can see not getting 2-5 for free. But one? I think one should come with the pizza. For two drinks, a whole pizza and two ranches it came to around 42 dollars pre tip. Annnnd then I broke down and made another order for their 10 garlic knots which was another 13 dollars. So the prices did add up very quickly (I ordered the large knots because I wanted some leftovers to munch on during the night) The menu says honey garlic knots. I asked if they could do it without the honey and it was no problem The parking here is a bit crowded. It's meter parking and there are some parking garages in the area. But there was a handicap spot that I was able to grab right up front. (They also have another location called -Milana's Brooklyn Squares, over on Ximeno Ave)

Yelp
Service is good it's the perfect example of fast casual dining. The food ALWAYS excellent! He use to be a one size suits all but my most recent visit he's made other options available. I personally loved the one size. Good excuse to have left overs! I will say price is up there just fyi. I got the ham hero (my all time favorite generous aioli add drizzle of Italian dressing chefs kiss) order of plain spaghetti comes with garlic bread and a LG half cheese half pepperoni 2 can drinks roughly $70 remember location and you pay for what you get. I'll always spend money on good food I live in Apple Valley and I make the drive!

Yelp
I've been looking for some good pasta and finally there it is. I've been coming to Milanas for their pizza which is amazing , but now I'll be coming here for all my

Yelp
I went here on Pi Day! There is a pie store nearby and I decided to complete the set by getting a pizza pie. Was served by Jose who is AWESOME! Food was phenomenal. Such good quality and a really great location to sit down.

Yelp
So chill and pizza was so good. Got the margarita pizza. Also playing the Bronx tale on the tv 10/10

Yelp
TLDR; best place for slices! Easy parking Milana's is so so soo stinkin good. It's easy to find, easy to park, easy to order & easy to eat. The staff is friendly and the food comes out fast. As someone that's lived on both coasts, I absolutely love Milana's slices and pies. It has an east coast vibe inside and they always have slices available when I swing by. This place isn't cheap but it's gooood! The cost does deter me from visiting more often but at least I'm getting a good amount of food when I pay like $19 for two slices

Dennis Z.

Yelp
Service was really amazing. They always do their best to take care of us. The standard pepperoni pizza however.... It's just too soggy. Hardly any crunch through the body. Which is a shame because the flavor is absolutely amazing. I just can't get over how sloppy it can get.

Yelp
Hands down best pizza in LB. East-coast approved by my New York boyfriend! Delicious! Excellent and friendly service, with clean and relaxed, casual ambiance.

Yelp
NYC pizza by the slice in DTLB! Stopped by for a late lunch on weekday. Plenty of free parking in the nearby city lots. They had various prepar slices on display to complete, so chose a cheese and a mushroom/sausage and sat down for it to be heated to completion. They have bottled soda as well as a soda fountain serving pepsi products. A lot of NYC paraphernalia on the walls. Service was good: the two slices were delivered when done. The pizza slice itself was OK to Good, tasted like what a reheated New York slice should be, for a bit under $5 per. We self bussed, and were on our way pretty quick. It was a nice, enjoyable stop.

Yelp
Milana's is pretty damn top notch for NYC pizza! I've been coming here since 2011 and it's one of my favorites! You do wait a while, but it's always worth it! The bottom crust folds and holds, doesn't flop too much, isn't soggy, and has the right amount of cheese. The sauce is great as well! I really do love this place and I hope it never goes away! Customer service + quality food = successful establishment.

Yelp
I ordered gluten free pizza and wings on Sunday January 21st I received the food 70min late and it was the wrong pizza & toppings. I called the store multiple times and no answer, I sent an email with pictures and no reply. I then disputed with my bank and over a month later someone from the store called and asked why I did a charge back. I explained and the person hung up, didn't offer to make it right, credit my account, send a gift card or apologize!

Yelp
I had hoped after the dry Eggplant Parmesan incident the lack of attention to food might have been a fluke, but unfortunately it's strike two with our order tonight. Ordered beef ravioli in pesto and got this lake of basil flavored oil delivered to us. This is disgusting, and needless to say the sheer amount of oil upset my wife's stomach. Included with this order I asked (explicitly, 3 times) for a single Brooklyn square slice - $5 base price on the menu - but was delivered an entire square pizza, which was at least $15 more. Moral of the story, don't call in your order, they don't pay attention, and don't order the pasta.

Yelp
I got severe food poisoning from this place. Probably use old ingredients. Lot of better pizza places in long beach.
google avatar

John S.

Yelp
Compelled to leave the review due to not only FANTASTIC pizza. But also the service and accommodation! Jose is the man. Courteous, and friendly as can be. -to the management: WELL DONE! P.S. Jose deserves a raise.

Lillith V.

Yelp
How anyone can rate this place with anything less than 5 stars is beyond me. The pizza served here is probably some of the best slices I've ever had outside of NYC. SoCal has a lot of pizzeria's but this one is a hidden gem! The service is excellent, the place has a lot of seating both inside and out. The prices are on par with all other places in the area and to be perfectly honest the food tastes better than the surrounding places. If I had any complaint, it would be that I wish they served garlic knots and would open a location in OC. Great stuff!
google avatar

Josh D.

Yelp
Came here for a quick late night bite and I would say it's a good pizza spot. Staff was very friendly and assisted us with our questions. The crust for the pizza isn't as crispy and was more on the chewy side. The Brooklyn square crust was pretty crispy, a little too saucy for my liking however the burata balanced it out. The pepperoni and the infused honey also made it a lot better. The atmosphere was very New York as stated by the name. Compact, brick interior, subway signs posted everywhere, and portraits gave a warm welcome.

Yelp
Excellent pizza and fresh ingredients. Comes at a cost though. Everytime I'm in Long Beach I hit up this spot!

Yelp
I found my new favorite pizza place in Downtown Long Beach because they have the best crust. They offer Specialty New York 18" Pizzas which range from $28.00 to $34.00. I'm pretty sure all taste amazing. I've had the Margherita and Sheepshead Bay's Pizza myself. The Margherita had house-made pizza sauce base, fresh tomatoes, and fresh basil. It was so delicious and the first time I had the experience of this wonderful crust. The Sheepshead Bay had house-made pizza sauce, house-made meatballs, ricotta, and fresh basil. If you like ricotta this is your pizza. The chunks were so big! I don't think I've come across another pizza that just has giant chunks all over to ensure it was in just about every bite. The meatballs were the same. They were spread out to make sure you ate one in every bite. They have an option of Create Your Own which has a variety of toppings that consider multiple health diets. They have Gluten Free and Vegan Cheese. The pizzas are eighteen inches, but the Gluten Free Cheese pizza only comes in a ten inch size. You can get right and left side toppings if you would like or just have the whole pizza be the same. They even have the option of one side being vegan cheese. The toppings are $2.00 each. The delicious toppings are anchovies, pepperoni, spicy pepperoni cups, artichokes, bacon, fresh basil, bell pepper, Brooklyn Mikes Hot Honey, cheese, chicken, fresh cilantro, feta, fresh garlic, ham, kalamata olives, olives, meatballs, mushrooms, red onions, white onions, pastrami, banna peppers (pepperoncini), pesto, pineapple, ricotta, salami, sausage, spinach, sundried tomato, fresh tomato, ricotta, and blue cheese, pepperoni, sausage, ham, salami, bacon, chicken, meatballs, mushrooms, bell peppers, extra cheese, pineapple, fresh tomatoes, artichokes, olives, kalamata olives, feta, fresh garlic, spinach, pesto, ricotta, sun dried tomatoes, onions, and fresh basil. They also offer calzones, wings, pasta, sandwiches, and a variety of sides if pizza isn't your thing. It is the perfect place for groups if you want to sit outside, enjoy the breeze, have a nice wine and beer, and try not to fight over the last slice of pizza . The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. This is definitely the pizza place to go if you are unsure of where to eat. It is amazing! I hope listing the toppings helps in case the site gives you problems.

Yelp
The wings are amazing. Pizza too. When craving a savory pizza I get the East side sooo freaking delicious
google avatar

Deborah E.

Yelp
Okay, keep in mind as you read that I'm a New Yorker. Although the pizza came decently close to NY pizza, my issue is the cost. Even in NYC, one of the most expensive cities, pizza is $2 a slice. It was like $12 for 2 slices! I understand small businesses charge more but that was outrageous. They have a decent variety in pizzas as well but I still got issues w the cost!
google avatar

Tracey F.

Yelp
Our new favorite local pizza. Perfect NY style pizza - even our littlest agree! Thank you for having GREEN OLIVES!!
google avatar

Beatrice R.

Yelp
One of the best pizzas around DTLB. Service is always friendly and the vibe is vibin everything I come here to pick up pizza. I live at the apartments upstairs and frequent this place at least once a week.
google avatar

Carrie L.

Yelp
Excellent, well made pizza with a wonderful thin crust. I ordered the 18" white mushroom pizza and it's really delicious. The pizza arrived hot and earlier than it said it would, which is great. The delivery person was very friendly and took pride in his delivery. I've wondered where to get good pizza here in downtown Long Beach... I've now found my go to pizza place!
google avatar

Joe R.

Yelp
Milana's is Top 5 pizza place in Long Beach... probably top 3 Both the squares and NY style are good. I like it more than my wife, but she likes it too. We've only ordered pizza, so I can't comment on the food. I've only ordered from the 4th St location, so I can't comment on the Ximino location.
google avatar

Stephanie V.

Yelp
Best NY style pizza! I come from an hour away just to get their pizza and delicious wings. Whenever I'm in Long Beach it's a must to stop by. Always have quick service and very good customer service. Thank you Milana's for never disappointing. Very filling and super fresh.
google avatar

Lareina H.

Yelp
Just moved to the neighborhood and tried the spot on a whim and was pleasantly surprised by how great they are! Had the pepperoni cups and ricotta pizza and it was amazing! Came out fast and hot and delicious! My husband had the calzone and it was huge! So cheesy I had to steal a bite. They have a few micro brew beer options and the cashier was nice enough to give us recommendations. Have already gone back. Highly recommend!

Yelp
This pizza place was on our walk today. We got excited when we found another pizza place. I am personally suspicious of any pizza place that claims ny pizza. As someone that grew up in NYC. I low ny pizza is all about the pH water level in certain parts of the city. Claiming to be a nyc pizza place with any other water pH balance is a fake. It is more than just the thin crust. It is the taste too. You will order when at the counter. You will be given plastic cups for your self serve. They do not have straws. That is not much of an issue since you will use disposable cups that are thrown away after one use. You do need to ask for plastic wear. We learned to late they keep plastic wear behind the counter. The pizza we had was very stiff. The crust was not thin. It just did not taste fresh. The decor is really nice. The seating is small though. The outside seating is just public seating multiple restaurants share. They do offer a military discount.

N C.

Yelp
Pizza is amazing! Crust is delicious, sauce is the best (really) and toppings are full of flavors! Favorites are red and white, white pizza and company lives the meat choices (we stick to non-meat). We eat in or pick up. We have t had the "Brooklyn" style yet but will be back to try.

Josue R.

Yelp
Tried ordering two pizzas and some wings for pick up, and the operator didn't give options on form of payments. It would seem that this establishment discriminates on form of payments. California should fix this in the near future.
google avatar

Keabreone B.

Yelp
Took an hour for delivery which is my fault but I live down the street so I thought it wouldn't take that long. But after my hour was up I had to call and felt as if I was reminding them that I placed an order. I have to admit it's been 3 outta 3 maybe I've lost my touch. Anyway, let's talk about the food. I called and was told it was still in the oven and was leaving the store in ten minutes, I live less than ten minutes away the food shows up hot, fresh, perfectly cooked, and ready to be eaten. Word of advice that cheesy garlic bread is awful. It seems like this used a jar of garlic and just tossed it on the bread with w/some cheese then call it a day. I mean 10 out of 10 10 so not recommended. STAY AWAY! The cheesecake was store-bought and kept frozen, however, I will give them points are picking a pretty good brand of cheesecake. I'd ordered a slice again to have something sweet after my meal. I would think I'd they'd add some type of sauce rather than strawberry, caramel, or even chocolate to make it good. I do not think anyone expects a pizza place to have fresh cheesecake but I think having a sauce option would make a difference. Let's get into the SOOO GOOD pizza! The slices were eventfully cut and the perfect size. I could tell the ingredients used for the pizza were greasy rather it's true or not I think they make the pizza sauce from scratch. It did not take store-bought at all. The sausage was big while complementing the flavor of the pepperoni while not being overpowering. The cuts of meat on the pizza plus the amount were amazing they did not skip on that at all. Everything they did not give to the garlic bread they gave to their pizza and I am not upset. The cheese was layered evenly and I got sausage, pepperoni, and cheese in every bite. The crust was thin but but still left something to be enjoyed. I highly suggest their pizza. I'm out of here, but one more time STAY CLEAR OF THE GARLIC BREAD. You've been warned!!
google avatar

Alex M.

Yelp
Amazing NY style thin crust pizza. They use a wood fire pizza oven that gives the crust a great flavor. The crust also had a really good texture and the right amount of chewiness to crispiness. The sauce had the right mix of sweetness and acidity. Overall it's a great pizza if you're looking for that NY style pizza. They also sell by the slice if you don't want a whole pizza.
google avatar

Yelp
Went here for pizza on a Friday around lunch time. You can find parking near by. It wasn't too busy. A couple tables taken up and more people filtered in after we order. We ordered a couple pizzas, desserts, and soda's. The inside is decorated with pictures of many Italian greats. I am not a NY type of pizza lover. I like thick pizza, but wanted to give it a try. The dough was just like you would assume it would be, perfectly cooked and had a nice crunch to it. The sauce was good but nothing special. Overall it had good flavor, but to me the pizza was just okay. That is coming from someone who likes thick dough. I noticed after I ordered, they did have thicker pizza/slices you could order. It looked to be what many call a Brooklyn/Detroit style pizza dough. We got the cheesecake and tiramisu. The cheesecake was a basic NY cheesecake. The tiramisu wasn't very moist. The staff were friendly and we didn't have to wait too long for our food.
google avatar

Brenda P.

Yelp
The NY style pizza crust was perfection! Casual dine in spot. Love the NY vibe inside and great service.

ryusuke k.

Yelp
Great service, really good pizzas. I'm guessing a lot of people get it togo but the crunch is soo good when it's fresh. Wish they had a better beer selection but besides that it was a good experience.

Yelp
I am so glad that I stumbled on this Pizza Spot! They have amazing New York Pizza. Food: I ordered a slice of a meatball, ricotta, and pesto pizza. I also ordered a slice of pepperoni. The meatball pizza was the best slice of pizza I have had in a long time. I HIGHLY recommend trying it. Seating: There is indoor and outdoor seating. I sat outside and enjoyed the covered seating area. The next time I come, I will definitely check out the inside experience. Parking: There is a parking structure on the same block that offers, free parking for the first 2 hours. Do yourself a favor and come have the best NY pizza in Southern California! You won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Tim E.

Yelp
One of the BEST NY slices you can get in the area. Perfectly thin and delicious crust! This one is worth going out of your way for, don't pass it up!

J H.

Yelp
Authentic pizzeria taste. Delicious pizza. I will definitely be back. Thank you, Milana's.
google avatar

Ray H.

Yelp
OMG dang, they have delicious pizza and meatballs here! They have two locations on 4th and the other by the traffic circle at 2000 Ximeno Ave. I ordered for pick up curve side and everything went smooth from me calling and them coming out with my order. I got the Meatballs W/ Sauce & Ricotta $10 and the 2 NY Pizza Case Slices (pick two toppings on each $12) pep and sausage and onion with basil. Nothing but good things about this location. I can't wait to go back and get the pep with hot honey pizza. I'm sure it's amazing like the rest of the items! Highly recommend.
google avatar

Mel K.

Yelp
Food was great but the cost is not. I ordered a pizza and something else but I know it was well over $50 for 2 items. That's too much

Raina H.

Yelp
My favorite place for pizza! I used to think no one could mess up pizza, but after trying this place every other pizza feels wrong. I love getting the red and white slices. It always hits the spot. I highly recommend!!!
google avatar

Kelly R.

Yelp
Love this place. Worth the drive all the way across town. I love that I can have my pizza half and half of my favorite combos.

Liliana J.

Yelp
The thin NY pizza was good, but OMG !!! THE WINGS!!! most pizza places have mediocre wings but not here. ..not too much of a fan of the Sicilian 4 square .
google avatar

Karla C.

Yelp
I'm a native New Yorker from The BX, and I can say this is a good pizza. I had placed the delivery on the phone and they had taken down my address incorrect but they fixed it right away. Received me a second delivery, and some delicious goodies! Thank You guys my 5 Yr old loves your pizza!
google avatar

Tara J.

Yelp
Last night a friend and myself ordered the BBQ pizza . It was the worst pizza I've eaten from this place. The owner Kamron was not there. He usually is the one that can make a good pizza in his sleep. Last night's pizza was not good. The dough was not fresh. I didn't know bbq pizza had red sauce on it. Thought you get bbq sauce. There was barely any cheese covering the pizza. It was not his usually fresh ingredients and crispy dough and the chicken hardly made it all over the pizza. My other complaint is you raised the prices on the pizza by the slice by 2 buck. And cut the size of the pizza down. If this the forecast to come it's a wrap for me
google avatar

Christy T.

Yelp
Omg omg omg!!! Stopped hear after the Bellator event and it was the best way to end the evening!!! Pizza & beer!!! Delish! Alex, Cameron, Hernan were the bestest ever!!! Thank you for making my dinner AMAZING!

Yelp
Pizza is so good!!!! Customer service is okay, depends on the day really. Sometimes people can be a little rude but other days they're super cheery and go out of their way to help. I like the fact that you can get pizza slices instead having to order an entire pizza. The setting is a very chill restaurant.
