"The big, flower-covered step and repeat outside the entrance stands out boldly enough to lure you into this all-day brunch spot in this Cascade shopping center. The inside of Milk & Honey gives classic neighborhood diner vibes with a few small tables and a larger outdoor patio. The picture-heavy menu makes it hard to choose between breakfast options and seafood dishes like the lobster pot pie or the huge portion of seafood hash. Everything is good, but just make sure you get a waffle. Because decisions are hard, we like getting the combo waffle of a red velvet and the key lime." - demarco williams, nina reeder, jacinta howard

"Milk & Honey's Cascade location is in a shopping center, which works in the DC transplant's favor—the big, flower-covered step and repeat outside the entrance stands out boldly enough to lure you away from mundane tasks and into the all-day brunch spot. The inside isn’t as showy and gives classic neighborhood diner vibes, with a few small tables and a larger outdoor patio that invites you to pull up to an iron table and take your time processing the vast menu. You'll find seafood options from crab cakes to seafood hash and a lobster gumbo pot pie, but we really come here for the waffles. If you can’t commit to taking one down on your own, we highly recommend sharing the original cinnamon-infused, the red velvet, or the key lime waffle, or get a combo of two flavors if you're torn." - Nina Reeder

Girls trip from Central Valley California we are traveling celebrating birthday's when a friend told us we had to try this place and we were beyond surprised. Excellent food people, the homemade biscuits are amazing with honey drizzled over them. A fruity beverage🍸 set the morning off on a great start. Did I say great food! To top it off our waiter Joseph sang an awesome birthday song that brought me to tears 😢 wonderful voice, great service, blessed atmosphere. We are so grateful to have stopped through thank you for the memories see ya next year.

Super busy however still managed to get us a seat at the bar. Food was hot and fresh! Loved the salmon and grits. Fried Salmon was cooked to perfection. Most places over cook it. Grits were smooth. Service was great. Friend enjoyed the wings, although I did not manage to get a picture. The decorum is really cool. Love the homage to Delta and Biggie.

I ate at this location for the first time today. I had the south side, scrambled cheese eggs, and potatoes. The southside was good, but it was drowned in the grits. It would have been better separate. The eggs were decent, but the potatoes were hard, cold, and tasted old. My friend had the Who DAT lobster gumbo. She said it was good... The service was great, and food came out fast. I will definitely go back....

Everything was awesome at my visit today at Milk and Honey! Before I even stepped I the door the gentleman was so friendly along with the rest of the staff! Isn’t it great to walk in a buisness and everybody is nice & smiling…. It makes the entire atmosphere great! Cassie was our wait-stress and she was on point with the A1 service able very friendly! The biscuits are out of this world delicious! I am going back just to get me a biscuit! Our food was delicious and portion size is comparable. Thanks Milk and Honey for having the best breakfast spot in Atlanta!

10 out of 10, definitely recommend! My husband and I were in town for my line sister's wedding. We visited Milk and Honey Restaurant 9/3 for brunch and it was amazing. There was about a 15 minute wait. While waiting, we did a mini photo shoot at this really nice background space outside the restaurant. We dined in the patio area which was really nice and we were able to watch some college football (hubby's favorite thing). The food was absolutely 😋. Mimosas were on point and were able to take them to go (my favorite thing). Customer service was on point. Our waiter, Joshua, was amazing! Best of all, the restaurant was a vibe. Melanated people everywhere, great music...you just have to get there and see for yourself. We will visit again!

Well unfortunately I’ve gotta bad review for this one as I was just not pleased and the food didn’t live up to the hype. I had the trout with a cup of “seasoned” lobster, fried green tomatoes, the “key lime” waffle, and my sister had the chicken fingers with 2 sides(grits & fries). The lobster was bland and do was the fish. No recipe no real seasoning blend that offered real flavor to my taste pallet. The tomatoes were heavily battered….like overly…like the most I’ve ever had in my life. I had to peel most of it off just to avoid eating unnecessary amounts of corn meal. The waffle was soggy and tasted nothing like key lime-just food coloring. My sister hated the grits and her fries were soggy with grease. She did enjoy the chicken. I did enjoy the atmosphere, some of the friendly faces that served there, and the prices seemed fair bumping it up to 2 stars. Overrated

I visited this place as soon as they opened on a Friday morning and there was no wait to be seated. There is limited parking and space, so I would suggest getting there early. The food prices were decent. I ordered the French toast with peaches, cheese grits, scrambled eggs and a pineapple mimosa. The food was 8/10. The mimosa was absolutely delicious. One thing I didn’t like was that the water was not free (they only have bottled water for purchase).

Very limited seating. They automatically charge gratuity. Everything is in to-go containers. We chose to dine in . The other patrons were really loud so it wasn't a great brunch experience. The surf and turf burger was very good. All the food was hot. The staff was friendly.

Yelp
Our food was truly great. If you like seafood you'll enjoy all the breakfast options like the salmon hash or the seafood hash we enjoyed. They also have some of the best pancakes we've had at any breakfast spot in ATL. Don't skip the biscuits - smothered in butter and honey, they are decedent and delicious. We split 2 for the table. The vibe is casual enough in the morning to pop-in for breakfast with the family but also if you came in the brunch hour it gets a little more lively. It's worth the wait if you happen to come at a busy time. We enjoyed the old school r&b playlist and the staff was busy but attentive. This was our second time back, and we enjoyed the food even better than we did the first time! We will be back. Shout out to Brittany the General Manager and our server Dina for taking care of us!

Yelp
Made a reservation for my birthday and the hostess recognized it from the notes. My girlfriend didn't even have to sneak an ask, the staff came out singing and dancing, made me feel so special. I even got a birthday treat. We were greeted within 5 minutes of sitting down and the waitress knew how to sell that menu. We ordered mimosas, shrimp and grits, and the fried salmon and grits. It didn't take long for the food to come out, nice and hot. The oldies music had us singing while we were eating. Everything was delicious and the portion size was great. It was so much food we asked for boxes. We made sure to take a picture in front of their sign before we left. Milk and Honey at Cascade made my birthday weekend very special. One of the best places I went to in ATL. Thank you everybody!

Yelp
This is the best Milk and honey location. The service was subpar but the food was amazing. Go to the cascade location. More low key

Yelp
We visited Milk and Honey on Cascade during our trip to Atlanta. Our server was very friendly and brought me a nice birthday surprise. Our favorite was the "Cooks Special" Fried lobster tails with grits. and I enjoyed the milk and honey waffle, and the steak and gravy breakfast was ok. We had a carafe of cranberry mimosa which was exactly what I wanted. This place was recommended to us and I definitely think it's worth giving a try especially for the lobster grits.

Yelp
Service and food were both great! We enjoyed everything we tried! Chicken gravy was my favorite.

Yelp
The experience was great! Omgoodness, the food was delicious! The service from the moment we walked in to the moment we left was great. A young lady name Rickie was our server ( of 9 ppl) was very polite, helpful, and on point. If I lived in the city, this would be my go to!

Yelp
I have to say that I have lived near this place for a while but never had the opportunity to visit. Today I did and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I went at 1pm on a weekday afternoon so getting a table was easy. The place was busy but overly crowded. I had the simple burger and fries which did not disappoint. I also had the fried green tomatoes which I think was a huge success. Now I ordered an iced tea which they brought to me with no ice. Not sure who drinks iceless iced tea but not me. I digress. Another thing I like is being able to pay online. I love any place I don't have to watch my credit card walk away. Now they did add 18% gratuity to my ticket despite us only being a party of 3. I did not catch this until after the fact and ended up wayyyyy over-tipping. Now my biggest pet peeve for any restaurant is to add the gratuity on small parties. That is sending two messages. One, you don't trust your clientele and two your servers are not going to give 100% because you have the guest paying their salary regardless of good service or not. For that reason I won't return but it was definitely good. That's my two cents and you can take what you will from it.

Yelp
The service I got from milk and honey on my birthday was absolutely atrocious. First of all, I had a party of 7 guests reserved. 6 of the 7 guests were here, and they refused to sit us. They made us stand outside with bees all over in the sun. After we got inside to sit, they said our party of 7 had to sit at 2 different tables that were far from each other and I couldn't even talk to my friends that flew out to celebrate with me. After we finally got seated our took another hour to come out then they told us that we only had an hour to eat and get out. Then my friends chicken came with deep fried hair inside it. Picture attached below. I feel like she could have been compensated for this, but they still made her pay for the meal. The server was super friendly, she tried to make everything better however, the service was just so trifling I couldn't get over it. Another guest came with a reservation for a party of 15 and they sat her with 5 guests present because she knew the manger.

Yelp
The first time I came here, when they first open, I would've gave them 5 stars. But my visit today was not it and that's why it's receiving 2 stars instead. The big bowl of grits the lamb chops were floating in were cooked well but didn't taste like anything, although it was advertised on the menu to be cheesy grits. The lamb chops were over done, although they were suggested by our server ,CAASI, that they were one of her favorite things. I should have known that was a lie because she didn't even mention them in her initial presentation of the menu, I had to ask about them on my own. So she lied and they didn't do anything about. It was told to me by the manager, their policy doesn't allow them to do anything about a customer not enjoying their food. Which is stupid and not good customer service at all. It doesn't surprise me though, this is ghetto Atlanta. This was the discount on my receipt for a plate of food I didn't touch at mf all.... Ridiculous. Then they had us sitting outside on the patio with the heaters on. Mind you it's hot outside and raining horrendously.

Yelp
The food was decent but I wouldn't go back. The service was terrible. I had reservations at 2:00 and didn't get to sit down until 3:30. We had a reservation for a party and we had to be separated into two different tables. Everyone received their food but me . Once I got my food it was passed around from hand to hand. Once we finally paid our tab our server gave our cards to another table. Very distasteful.
