Contemporary venue with a cheery vibe featuring all-day brunch & Southern specialties.
"The big, flower-covered step and repeat outside the entrance stands out boldly enough to lure you into this all-day brunch spot in this Cascade shopping center. The inside of Milk & Honey gives classic neighborhood diner vibes with a few small tables and a larger outdoor patio. The picture-heavy menu makes it hard to choose between breakfast options and seafood dishes like the lobster pot pie or the huge portion of seafood hash. Everything is good, but just make sure you get a waffle. Because decisions are hard, we like getting the combo waffle of a red velvet and the key lime." - demarco williams, nina reeder, jacinta howard
"After Lee posted a video about his less than stellar experience at the Real Milk and Honey in College Park, which posted a now-deleted video attempting to throw shade at Lee and his review, people confused that unrelated restaurant with Milk and Honey on Cascade Road." - Beth McKibben
"Milk & Honey's Cascade location is in a shopping center, which works in the DC transplant's favor—the big, flower-covered step and repeat outside the entrance stands out boldly enough to lure you away from mundane tasks and into the all-day brunch spot. The inside isn’t as showy and gives classic neighborhood diner vibes, with a few small tables and a larger outdoor patio that invites you to pull up to an iron table and take your time processing the vast menu. You'll find seafood options from crab cakes to seafood hash and a lobster gumbo pot pie, but we really come here for the waffles. If you can’t commit to taking one down on your own, we highly recommend sharing the original cinnamon-infused, the red velvet, or the key lime waffle, or get a combo of two flavors if you're torn." - Nina Reeder
