Thoroughly enjoyed the ice cream creation here. Unique flavors and good choice of toppings. Only downside is that it shares air with a seafood restaurant so you need to overcome that first.

This ice cream spot is located inside the crab pad. Strange location. Unfortunately the smell of seafood hits you when you walk in and kinda kills the ice cream craving. The ice cream itself is pretty inexpensive and tasty. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I didn't have sensory overload from the crab. They do have some fun flavors and toppings.

It was a bit strange to order ice cream with the smell of crab in the background, but we had a good experience nonetheless!

Absolutely phenomenal. The Pandan popsicle tastes just like a yellow cake. Mine was a child's sugary dream: milk chocolate with sprinkles and fruity pebbles. Will definitely come back next time I'm in town!

It is such cute place. I though I was going to walk in and eat ice cream but to my delight that had ice cream bars!! The lady who helped me was super nice. They had all sorts of flavors and toppings. It was also super easy to eat and not messy. I highly recommended going there for ice cream bars. :)

Location is less than ideal (its inside the crab place) because the smell of seafood hits you like a brick to the face. Very disgusting smell, if I'm being honest. BUT, my ice cream bar was so good, that I didn't take a star off in my review. Absolutely delicious and customizable ice cream bars. (But I do recommend taking them to go.) :)

Cool place, passed it many times but never realized it was here until recently (its hidden inside The Crab Pad). They have a good selection of bases (Thai Iced Tea and Ube are my favorite) as well as white chocolate or light/dark chocolate and unlimited toppings (about 9 to choose from), for $5, which I thought was pretty reasonable. Great for summer!

Inside of the Crab Pad but there is a sign on the outside so you can't miss it. A small booth area in the restaurant with various flavors in stock like cookie mint, cookies & cream, Peanut butter butter captain crunch and more. We opted for the Thai Tea and added dark chocolate, cookie crumble, coconut and condensed milk. The bar itself was pretty frozen so I would wait a bit before digging in. The thai tea flavor was definitely there and the toppings were fresh. The cookies were crumbling/crunching which was a great compliment. I also loved the drizzle of chocolate because it hardened like the hard shell chocolate covers back in the day. For $5, this was a tasty treat to end the day with!

tasty $5 loaded ice cream-sicles! came here on a friday night (today) and it was empty. was initially sad because there weren't any ube flavors but went with what would've been my second choice - horchata! next, you choose which chocolate drizzle - dark, milk, or white. i got dark! and then toppings - they have fruity pebbles, oreos, graham crackers, vanilla cookies, sprinkles, + more. i got oreos and graham crackers. and then lastly you have a choice of caramel or condensed milk. got condensed milk. the staff was so attentive and considerate when drizzling and adding the toppings. she made sure i got big chunks of the oreos and graham crackers which i appreciated! we were able to eat our ice creams sitting down (part of the restaurant, crab pad) - if you plan on doing the same, make sure you have your vaccination card / ID! the ice cream was great! loved the horchata and it complemented my topping choices nicely. my husband also got horchata and he liked his as well. the staff was so kind and even picked up the trash for us! i'd come back just for the service alone. def will another day and get crab pad in person too!

Beat the heat with this yummy popsicle. It was a little on the sweeter side since I asked for condensed milk and coconut shreds over the already covered in white chocolate bar. I enjoyed the flavors of the bar and will be back for the Ube pop next time!

Little secret ice cream bar stand hidden in the Crab Pad. I went with my fiancee and dog to pick up some cold treats on the hot summer day. You get to pick a ice cream bar of various flavors including matcha, ube, Thai iced tea, mango, passion fruit and more. From there you can can add a drizzle of chocolate (white, milk,or dark) before and/or after adding any of their toppings. Toppings are unlimited and don't cost extra! You can make some pretty crazy flavors while making something colorful. It costs around 5 dollars only? A small stand within The Crab Pad, came here because it looked Morelia-adjacent, and it is a pretty good facsimile, not quite as amazing, but yummy. And the price is right, only $5 for a custom popsicle, with the spooned on sauce of your choice (dark, milk or white chocolate) and any toppings you want. The server helping us was really nice and put a healthy amount of toppings on top. I got Ube with dark chocolate and coconut and graham crackers and they also sprinkle on some condensed milk syrup. It's very sweet and fun. E got Cookie Monster with chocolate sprinkles and vanilla wafers (and dark chocolate and condensed milk). Her's was good too. Neither of them had the top tier tastes, but again, it's fun, yummy and reasonably priced! The consistency was a little icy, so could be better, but I'd go here again for the unique flavor and customization options.

Choose your toppings - sprinkles, nuts, crushed oreos, etc Took my parents to the Crab Pad for dinner today and Milk and Wood is located inside the Crab Pad. I was a little dissapointed in the lack of popsicle flavors that were available during my visit - there were only 4 to choose from. I have been wanting to try this place for the longest time and wanted to make the best of my visit. Good thing they had the ube (taro) flavor and the cookies n cream. Those 2 flavors were so rich and creamy that it surprised me at how delicious a popsicle can be!! The drizzle and toppings coupled with the creaminess of the popsicle blew my mind. It was so yummy! The popsicle tasted like ice cream on a stick. Not the usual waterbased popsicles that we are normally used to. My dad got the peach flavored popsicle which i didnt care for too much, but he seemed to like it. It was a little too sour for a popsicle flavor for me based off of the little bite that I took. I would have loved to give them 5 stars today based off of the flavor of the 2 popsicles that I had alone. I took off a star because i wanted the other awesome flavors that I've been reading about to have been available too. From reading the other reviews, I can't wait to come back and try the other flavors such as the green tea/matcha. I am an ice cream person and i foresee myself coming back here in the future. A fun dessert bar located in the Crab Pad! These popsicles are completely customizable. You get to pick which flavor, what chocolate drizzle or dip you want, and any of the toppings. This is all included in the price, no extra fees. When I went we had a Groupon. Even better! The flavors change often so don't be expecting to get the same thing every time. They have some classic flavors and other unique flavors like Cereal Milk or Thai Tea. I personally like the unique flavors! Also don't be afraid to ask the staff what chocolate and toppings go well with the popsicle. They have great suggestions and are friendly. It's worth a trip, even if you want to just grab a popsicle and not eat at the Crab Pad. BUUUT I would highly suggest eating at the Crab Pad first!!

Underwhelming. Was so excited to try this place based on all the incredible pictures but the popsicles were way over hyped. The pops looked like they were all leftover from the day before, refrozen previously melty ice cream on a stick. The toppings bar was limited and again, seemingly stale. Didn't realize this was a little corner stand inside a restaurant vs it's own location.. again. Underwhelming. Your $5 is better spent up the street at Heavenly Ice Cream and Gelato.

Not sure if this was a popup shop inside Crab Pad or what but it definitely swayed me to pick Crab Pad over a competitor! I was googley-eyes when I saw the Popsicles! Some flavors were classics while others were more unique. Step 1: pick your popsicle flavor Step 2: pick your drizzle or dip: white, milk, or dark chocolate Step 3: pick any of the toppings (unlimited choices included in the price) We ended up getting the green tea kitkat with milk chocolate and condense milk drizzle and peanuts as well as the vietnamese coffee with dark chocolate drizzle and cookie and graham cracker crumbs. I almost go the mango strawberry one but couldn't picture what drizzle or topping would go well with it. I believe popsicles are $5 each with unlimited toppings. We also got a coupon for BOGO, which I let my friend keep. I admit it was a little overrated but yolo lol gotta try everything once...

This is definitely a good choice for a cheat day! After my third visit, I noticed that their ice cream bar flavors change often. Which is good because this will have you coming back for something different. And the flavors are unique - ube, tiramisu, green tea kit kat, chai tea, etc. Their melted chocolate offerings are good - white and milk chocolate. You can drape your ice cream and have them cascade their toppings which are off the charts - coconut, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, peanuts, etc. It's unlimited so you can ask for a wild combo. I do want to say that the person preparing your customized dessert will determine if it'll be over the top or just mediocre. On my first two visits - the desserts were a work of art. On my last visit, I felt like she was trying to save on ingredients. I guess I should have just requested more toppings - so that's what I'll do on my next visit.

GELATO POPSICLES! Deep within the depths of The Crab Pad (not really, it's right up front), lies a mysterious and wondrous side shop (again, not really, it's all pretty well explained and laid out), ran by curious creatures (i lie, they are lovely, friendly and informative people) and full of delicious treats (now that part is finally true). A friend had told me about Milk and Wood plus it's walkable from home, so when I saw a Groupon pop up for them, I jumped on it. My friend and I dined at The Crab Pad first because really, how can you not when they share the same space, then made our way to the Milk and Wood counter. The lady working there was so friendly and so excited to tell us about a new kid on the block - the Smores Pop. She was so psyched about it, that it rubbed off on me and I ordered one straight away. She was really excited when I ordered it and got to work! Adding all of the toppings on their milk bars is definitely a process and took some time. Layer after layer was put on top, drizzling some of this, spreading some of that, fireblowing (yes, they scorched part of mine) a little of this - it was intense. But in the end, I came out with a really delicious, monstrous dessert. Now my gelato pop was incredibly good with all the cray toppings but I have a feeling even without anything you'd be happy. They had some really cool flavors of gelato pops like my Smores flavor, Vietnamese Coffee, Green tea, and a bunch more. The Smores pop I got had preset toppings and she would ask every step of the way if I wanted this or that and I said HECK YEA to everything. However, you can decide all your own toppings if you like, as well. Now the base price of $5 may seem pricey to some but you can add as many toppings as you like for that price. And if you can snag a deal like I did, you're way ahead of the game! I would absolutely go to Milk and Wood again to try more of their tasty treats.

Wanted to check this place out because of all the good reviews I've read and the yummy looking pictures of their ice creams. First off, the ice cream stand is located in The Crab Pad. I went on a Tuesday around 5pm and I was sad to see the small selection of flavors they had available. I tried the buko pandan and my boyfriend had the Ube (purple yam) flavor. I like how you are able to add as many toppings as you would like. It seemed like they lacked toppings or ran out of it, despite them just opening for the day which I found disappointing, but maybe I just went on a bad day. The ice cream was SO GOOD. Perfect on a hot day. Would like to come back to try other flavors but so far pandan is my favorite.

Milk and Wood is located inside the Crab Pad restaurant. It's a nice sweet addition after indulging in seafood, but patrons are welcome to puchase ice cream, even if they are not eating at the Crab Pad. I had the match kit kat bar with milk chocolate and condensed milk drizzle, and topped with coconut. Soooooo good! I love the flavor of the bar, and it had a big kit kat chunk in it. It would have been great by itself, but the drizzle and toppings just added to it without overdoing it.

These were so delicious and you get unlimited toppings. I loved the ube one that I got. It was the best part of the meal. One of the people I was with got marshmallow and they even toast it for you.

If you read my last review, you can see that my friend and I really had a terrible experience with Milk and Wood. I gave it a second chance though, and it was actually so delicious. I got the Thai Tea popsicle and there was none of that freezer burn taste that had really overwhelmed me last time. I'm really glad I got the chance to try this again, because it's actually so good, and everyone else I was with also really liked this spot. I think my last visit was just a bad day/batch, and I recommend stopping by if you're in the area for fun flavors.

I bought this deal on Groupon a few months ago. Today was my last day to take full advantage of this deal. Since the weather was beautiful. I decide to treat myself and son to a nice cold dessert. I was just a tad bit worried that my gelanto popsicle would taste like seafood. Milk and Woods is locate right inside Crab Pads. I'm not a seafood eater so I was hoping that I wasn't going to break out in hives. Once We made it inside and saw the yummy display of all flavored pops. My worries went right out the door. I mean they have so many flavors to chose from and the toppings are unlimited for $5.00. My deal was 2 popsicle with unlimited toppings for $5.00. What a steal The young girl behind the counter was very attentive and helpful when you asked her a question. She explained that each day there are many other flavors to pick from the cooler display. I mean the display alone caught my eye. We both decide to get the oreo with chocolate drizzle on top with butterfinger crushed on top. I took one bite and fell in love. It was delicious. I'm a very picky person so when I tell you this dessert hit a home run in my tummy. The location is cool with plenty of street meter parking. It's a nice place to bring your kids for a nice treat. Or just an after brunch treat with your friends. The price is well worth it & you can't beat unlimited toppings. I tried to go back on Groupon to purchase anotjer deal. But it is no longer on the site. Which is cool because Milk & Wood is still worth the money. I will make sure to come back and try the other flavors A

Was a fun little spot inside near the crab place. Tons of toppings to put on your flavor. I chose ube base flavor (think taro flavor). I loved it! Then I can't remember the toppings I got on top of my chocolate drizzle. I got some waffle cone I think and fruity pebbles and nuts and cookies. Something like that. Bottom line is it's fun and yummy! Choose your own creation!

Not expecting it to be connected with a seafood restaurant. Steps for an awesome popsicle 1. pick a popsicle from several yummy options 2. pick a chocolate - white, milk or dark 3. pick endless options of toppings. the selection isn't huge but fair. 4. as you pick a topping they coat each layer with the chocolate you picked so that each layer sticks & sets. 5. aesthetically appealing technique 6. top it off with condensed milk - service was good - I wasn't sure where to sit since I only showed up for dessert - nice smaller portion so you dont feel too bad - the overall treat was great!

Unexpected little ice cream shop in Crab Pad! Unique flavors like Ube and Green Tea KitKat - as well as the classics like Cookies and Cream and Strawberry. The pops come with unlimited toppings ranging from graham cracker crumbs to fruit pebbles! The quantity is pretty generous and decorated quite prettily. You also get $2 for a yelp check in! This really hit the spot for a quick sweet treat after dinner that Logan Square is sorely missing. We will be back!

I came in through a quick search on Yelp and the amazing pictures of the ice cream. When trying to find the place, it was hard as it is in a seafood restaurant? It was somewhat confusing and didn't make much sense. The ice cream looked so good and they had unique flavors and good toppings to go with. My sister got the matcha Kit Kat, I got the Thai tea and our friend got the brown sugar boba. We all agreed it looked better than it was. My sisters tasted like mint instead of matcha and overall it wasn't that great in my opinion. I love the idea and I'm glad I was able to try it.

After a trip down the street for dinner, I was in the mood for something sweet because who can really end the night without some sugar that would drive up your glucose level over the room? Not me. Bring on the diabetes! Just kidding. I found Milk and Wood by chance with a simple dessert search in the area. Tip, it is located inside of the Crab Pad. We walked by this before we saw the saw inside of the restaurant. So, don't be a dummy like me looking confused on the streets. They had limited selections on pops. If I can recall, mint oreo, ube, green tea kit kat, strawberry and cream, and coconut. I went with mint oreo because the combination of my two favorite things was really hard to pass up. It was $5 in total for unlimited toppings of you choice. I would say it is a little steep especially since the ingredients are only put on one side of the ice cream popsicle. There is just isn't enough room to hoard this ice cream bar of yours. I really like the texture and flavoring of it though. You can tell it is high quality with how creamy and rich it was. I also enjoyed the fact that there is a condense milk drizzle option. Seriously, is this the new thing now because I am not mad at all. Would I come back, of course. I might end up just eating at crap pad and getting a dessert after. I hope they have new flavors when I come back.

Genius idea to setup shop inside the Crab Pad restaurant. You can get your cajun seafood fix in topped by some flavorful sweets without having to venture outside. My wife and I visited Milk and Wood in Logan Square on Sunday afternoon right at the time the Crab Pad opened for business. Our sole mission was to try some of the sugary goodness Yelp Elite's like Gerry T had shared on their food adventures. Sadly today, the cooler that contained all the various choices was broken. :( Horror came upon my heart. "Nooooo! Did we travel all this way for no ice cream???!?!?" Thankfully, the server informed us that they still had some flavors in the back while the cooler was being repaired. I did a silent happy dance in my heart. We decided to order the green tea kit kat and thai tea gelato bars ($5 each with all you can add toppings). Both flavors were creamy and delicious (see my pictures). I'm usually not a fan of putting random toppings on my ice cream (yes I don't know what's wrong with me) but the suggestions I took from other Yelpers helped add to the flavor. I would definitely go back to first try the seafood at Crab Pad and then to end my meal with food dessert.

My wife suggested Milk and Wood and convinced me that I would enjoy it - I'm glad that I listened. Inside Crab Pad (I'll be honest, not the type of spot I'd expect a creative gelato bar to be nestled within), is a small section devoted to M&W. For $5 you can purchase a bar of your choice with flavors ranging from cereal to cookies and creme. The steps from the point on are drawn out on the wall actually. You select the toppings which range from chocolate to fruity pebbles, and choose a drizzle that wraps up the bar. I ordered the cereal bar with fruity pebbles, graham cracker, and white chocolate drizzle. I loved it and would go again any other weekend. The only oddity that I experienced was eating the gelato bar while smelling spicy crab from the rest of the restaurant.

Got the green tea kit kat with milk chocolate drizzle on with chocolate crumbles on top. The ice cream bar was delicious in general. It was creamy and the perfect amount of sweet. It makes you want more. But in my opinion this spot is expensive for ice cream. Both two for around $10~$11 which mean each one was about $5. It's good to go once in a blue moon but not all the time to spend that much money on ice cream.

I can't remember exactly which reviewer turned me on to Milk & Wood but I owe you a huge thank you. I don't know what form of wizardry they use to keep the popsicle from melting while using a blowtorch on the Smores one but it's wonderful. So many flavors to chose from but I have to admit that I was perturbed when I learned they were out of the Stawberry Cheesecake & Unicorn Breath. It's totally customizable & it's fantastic. These beauties aren't cheap at $5 a piece but it's so worth it. Tucked away in a small cubbyhole in the Crab Pad restaurant on a street with plenty of available parking on this grey weekday. I imagine this wont be the case when the weather finally breaks as this place is a jewel!

This place is located inside The Crab Pad. Some of the unique flavors reminded me of the ones I had in LA. The selection is pretty awesome, but I had to go with the Green Tea Kit Kat. The label is pretty misleading. Originally I thought the whole ice cream was made of the Japanese version of the Kit Kat bar with green tea, but it is actually green tea ice cream with a piece of Kit Kat bar inside. Tell you know so you don't get fooled like me. it is still good nonetheless! Once you picked out your ice cream, you have the option of smothering it with toppings. For $1 more, you can get unlimited toppings! That's right...UNLIMITED! My favorite is the condense milk. It goes so well with ice cream I'm telling you. Overall I gave it 4 out of 5 because the price is pretty steep for an ice cream bar, but worth a trip to check this place out. Can't go wrong because it is quite the treat.

Usually there is a stellar assortment of flavors. Can't remember which one I had. It was purple and tasted like a waffle. Loved every bite. I prefer not to have it decorated with add ons, but y'all do you ;) The place is located inside crab pad, which is another one of my favorite places to eat.

Both of the times I've been here (first for the green tea kit kat and second for the cookies and cream) and I have to say, both times were amazing!!! The ice cream tasted so good. The place is located inside the Crab Pad but located in the front of the store. It is super dangerous that I live across the street but whenever friends are over, this is a spot I take them to!!

Really nice spot a custom ice cream bar, milk & wood is def a creative place serving unique ice cream flavors. I got Thai tea with dark chocolate drizzle, coconut & sugar cone. Thai tea flavor wasn't too sweet, dark chocolate complimented the ice cream flavor well along with the toppings. I would be back to try green tea kit kar flavor.

Flavors I haven't seen elsewhere and a denser creamier texture than expected - like kulfi. I had the brilliantly purple ube flavor and had fun decorating to my taste.

I will always support the Crab Pad because I love their seafood, but the milk and wood popsicles are always the best part to end a delicious seafood feast. There are always interesting popsicle flavors to choose from, like green tea KitKat, hibiscus, horchata, ube, and guava. Then, decide if you want milk dark or quite chocolate drizzle, condensed milk sauce, toppings like coconuts, cookies, fruity pebbles, etc. layer that baby up for about $5 a popsicle!

This place is inside the crabby paddy. I do not like seafood and I could barely even stand the smell of shellfish while I picked out my ice cream treat. I did enjoy my ice cream on a stick once I got outside but overall my suggestion is to get the hell out of there. If I could order from outside and have it brought to me that would be preferable. Disgusting.

This is such a cute little neighborhood place. I love the concept and the ice cream is delicious. Seriously, it is some of the best ice cream I've had (i got the Vietnamese coffee flavor + toppings). I think its a really fun place (tip: you get a discount if you show them you checked in on yelp). Only potential cons being it's hard to share and it can get a bit messy (which I kinda expected from a popsicle). It's a bit tricky to find but worth it!

This is in the same space as a a crab boil restaurant. The popsicle flavors are pretty exciting (green tea w/ chocolate kit kat--not to be confused with green tea flavored kit kat-- and guava were consumed on my trip). You can add any toppings, and I believe the flat price is $5. I really enjoyed my popsicle and will visit when I'm back in Logan Square.

Okay so, this place is a pop up in a seafood restaurant. Which for me was no big deal, but definitely a concern for my friend. There was no indication of this on google when I found it. No biggie, but the smell was QUITE strong, almost unappetizing when going for dessert. Then when we arrived, they only had two flavors available, as well as only two toppings. Which was very disappointing as the website had so much to offer. BTW on of the flavors was sweet potato, which is NOT something we wanted for a dessert covered in chocolate. I will try this place again, calling ahead to check for variety; and update my review if needed.

Holy goodness. This ice cream bar was heavenly. After drinks I was in the mood for some dessert. I found milk and wood using trusty ol Yelp. I saw the pictures of the ice cream bars and knew I had to go immediately. Milk and wood is located inside the crab pad (another seafood boil). I felt a little awkward walking into the restaurant passing patrons eating seafood but nevertheless made my way to the display of ice cream. The selection was quite sparse, but in their defense I did come strolling in 30 minutes before closing. There was a chalkboard with directions on how to order. Best part... unlimited toppings! Whhhhat? However the toppings did not seem to really catch my eye. You had your choice from a few cereals, Oreos, vanilla wafers, graham crackers and chocolate toppings. One plus, they had white chocolate, dark chocolate and milk chocolate! When I bit into the mint Oreo ice cream bar I was pleasantly surprised to see there was an Oreo hidden inside the ice cream goodness! I highly recommend stopping by for an ice cream bar if you're in the Logan square area. I know I will!

Walked in to satisfy my craving for ice cream after seeing a pic on Instagram. The ice cream shop is located inside of Crab Pad. There weren't many paleta options but one of my favorites was available - Strawberry so I wasn't mad. They also had a mint chocolate, Thai tea, chocolate, and Vietnamese coffee flavors. So you choose a paleta and they add drizzle. I chose milk chocolate drizzle but the options are white, milk and dark. Next they add the loose toppings. I got butterfinger, Oreos, mixed nuts and topped off with condensed milk. DELISH!!! Definitely check it out. I plan to go back for Crab Pad as it smelled so good!

Visiting from out of town and let me tell you, this is one of my new favorite dessert places. You choose your popsicle and then choose a chocolate to drizzle it worth along with toppings. Super affordable and fresh. Love that they let you choose any topping free of charge. The place also they are located in is very trending. My husband got Thai which was soooo good and I got cookie butter which was okay but still good. You have to go here. The girls who work there are super helpful and super sweet too

The product is delicious. The smell of the restaurant where this small kiosk is housed is pretty revolting. Loved the dipped mint Oreo ice cream with dark chocolate drizzle and sprinkles. Bummed they didn't have a dairy free option for my husband. 5$ is a lot for the small ( ish) portion. It was yummy though and I'm glad we tried it.

YUMMMMMM! Like seriously. I grabbed one of their ice cream bars after a great dinner at Crab Pad and if you check in on yelp, they give you $2 off. I got the mint cookie bar and there's a mint chocolate cookie inside which was a total surprise but made it so much better. I put Oreo cookies, milk chocolate and chocolate sprinkles on it. If you wait a minute before you eat it, the chocolate will get hard and it's even tastier.

Um. YES!!! I have a serious sweet tooth, and Milk & Wood definitely hit the spot without being too overbearingly sweet (depending what you get on the popsicle, I guess). I got the Thai tea popsicle with a white chocolate drizzle, chocolate sprinkles, and condensed milk. The flavor was perfect, and I really enjoyed the creamy texture of the popsicle. They had other cool flavors too like Vietnamese iced coffee and pandan. And you get $2 off when you check in on Yelp, so ya, why not!! I will be back during the summer for sure.

The websight is very poir many errors. Hours ect. Its is located IN a Crab Shack restaurant and smells like boild sefoofood. The ice cream bar ( is all the offer) with Skimpy toppings on one side onlu. All mine fell off when I lifted to take a taste.. Cost $5.00 for 1 bar with 4 toppings. 7 small bites ...gone

Cool concept, hipstery name--poor execution. My wife and I came when they opened around 3. By 3:15 they still weren't ready to go so we left. Nothing was on display, the toppings were hardened, it was super awkward... not to mention it's a crab restaurant so it smells like fish while you wait for ice cream. It was also awkward that we had to wait at the dining tables for the toppings to soften. The chocolate sauces looked chunky, and hard and gross and we ended up going to an ice cream shop up the street

Not super impressed. Saw good reviews and beautiful pictures on Yelp so I came here after dinner. The texture was kind of weird like they had melted and been refrozen -- yikes. The Thai Tea had somewhat good flavor, but very very light, could have more flavor. Also quite pricey for paletas. Usually they're much larger and go for like 2 bucks, but this small questionable thing was 5 bucks a pop. What the...

Ehh it was fine. It's a very cute idea. The upside was that you didn't get charged for each individual topping you could pick as many as you wanted and the guy was super generous with piling them on. The downside is that the ice cream that made up the actual ice cream bar just wasn't that good. I had chocolate that had very little flavor and almost had more of a watery aspect to it then creamy. Cute idea and will look great on your Instagram just not that great in your stomach
