"A Longtime Richmond Favorite for Brunch or Dinner A slightly raucous, jukebox-on-the-table diner, Millie’s has had Richmonders lining up for brunch, lunch, and dinner for decades. Creative dishes burst with seasonal and regional flavor. Try the Devil’s Mess, Veggie Mess, or huevos rancheros for brunch; try anything for dinner."

Great bustling neighborhood brunch spot with excellent friendly service and delicious food. I had the special Chesapeake mess and it was so good - nice savory flavors. Their bloody Mary is decent and the beer selection was great too.

Food is delicious and hearty. We had the shrimp and grits and the Jalapeño Popper Omelette (Brunch Special) and they were incredible!! Definitely recommend you come and enjoy the good music and friendly and attentive staff.

Second time here and still in love! The Benedict with country ham was amazing. Local ham!? Yes please. Steak and eggs perfection and Huevos Rancheros are always a must. Side of grits and some mimosas to top it off.

Google
A cozy and bustling brunch with lots of spicy and savory dishes. The BLT with avocado and egg was great, fresh and tasty. The reviews of the huevos rancheros were mixed in our group, but overall pretty good.

Millies is one of my favorite Shockoe spots for brunch. My friend and I decided to go on a Saturday afternoon and it was easy to get a table. The food came quickly and the server was awesome giving really good recommendations.

Google
Our food was amazing! I had the Crab & Egg Enchilada, which was melt in my mouth fantastic! 🤤 When seated, our table had some food n water on it from the previous diners, so that was gross and it just needed to be wiped down better. The food made up for it and I would return!

Google
A very good locals diner. If you like diners, this is a great place to frequent. Service was fast, polite, and cheerful. The food was quite good. Definitely recommend. Will absolutely go again!

Google
Amazing diner. Fun choices on the brunch menu. I had the Devil's Mess and it was fantastic. Good selection of beers and our waitress was fantastic! Another bonus was the ability to make a reservation.

Yelp
Having only been here once, this place has already become my new favorite spot for a savory breakfast! The menu features elevated breakfast dishes that I wouldn't typically make at home which is what I look for in a restaurant that serves breakfast. I tried the Lump Crab & Scrambled Egg* Enchilada and the Devil's Shrimp & Grits, and honestly, the shrimp and grits were the best I've ever had. OH! and the breakfast potatoes were also the best ever. The place is pretty small, so if you don't have a reservation, be ready for a wait. Luckily, it's near the river, so you can take a walk or hangout on a bench until your table's ready. After my amazing meal and eyeing up all the other yummy-looking dishes being served around me, I cannot wait to go back, and I haven't stopped recommending it to my friends!

Yelp
Walked in on Saturday noon. Was told it would be a 20-25 min wait but ended up waiting 45 mins to get seated. Told the nice lady at the reception who seated us that we only have 20 mins to eat; we had a show to watch (which we almost missed!). She took our order immediately and food was served quickly. Atmosphere was very casual. The grilled marinated flank steak and eggs were alright. Nothing special. Giving this a 3/5 -- wait time was too long for food that was alright.

Yelp
My group arrived at Millie's for a quick breakfast. There was a 45 min wait. We were seated in about 25 mins, so that was good. The place is small and cute, quaint. We had a party of 6, I ordered the Cornbeef brisket with scrambled eggs with cheese. The brisket was delish but salty, not sure if it was the meat or the potato's but overall it was good. My friend had the salmon and said it was so tender and perfectly cooked. I will definitely go back.

Yelp
Ate here with some school friends on a Friday afternoon. I got the lobster & eggs, which came scrambled with bacon and tomato, and then topped with puff pastry and hollandaise. The entree was overall good, though I wouldn't get it again. The eggs were unseasoned and the puff pastry was really just in the way. For $18, I expected a little more lobster. The side of potatoes was the best thing on the plate. The service wasn't bad, but there was nothing super great about it either. We stayed a bit after close and chatted on the porch and no one tried to rush us away, which I really appreciated. I'd return if I'm in the area.

Yelp
Most people know Millie's for its highly rated brunch. I would encourage you to try some of their lunch offerings. I had the grilled eggplant and Brie sandwich. It was perfectly grilled and the Brie was nicely melted. They offer lots of craft beer but I had a nice glass of Chardonnay with my sandwich. The place is super cozy and welcoming. There is a small bar when you enter, booths and tables, and outdoor seating. My server was so friendly and attentive. I was waited on as soon as I was seated and my drink and food came shortly thereafter. Check out this place the next time you are in the area!

Yelp
Hole on the wall type restaurant but delicious food. I ordered the steak and eggs and my fiance ordered a burger and we bother enjoyed our food. I wish I remembered our waiters name, he was very nice and attentive. Everything tasted cooked to order and fresh. My only knock is that there were cobwebs everywhere and it just looked like the place needed a good wipe down.

Yelp
What a hidden gem! I live so close to this place and never realized it was here, but I have been really missing out. The food and drinks were so delicious and the prices are not bad considering the quality and uniqueness of the items. Our server was amazing, he was so cool and checked on us frequently even though it was a busy Saturday morning. I also love that you can make reservations - pretty rare for a diner-type restaurant, so that was a big win. Cannot wait to eat here again and try something new.

Yelp
Hungover with a headache is how I entered Millie's on a Saturday morning. Buzzed and happily full of food is how I left. I got the huevos ranchero and the Moscow mule. The food was amazing but the Moscow mule brought me back to life. My husband got the Cajun mess and our waitress recommends the mess if you've never been which is what I will be getting next time. 10/10 recommend for food and service but it was the music that was the best!

Yelp
New year, new food! I got away from reviewing last year, and want to make sure I get back to it, starting with my New Years brunch at Millie's. As a reminder, my grading system gives a grade on each star, for my final tally. The 5 categories are: Service Ambiance Food Cost v Value Overall experience Millie's is a staple of the RVA brunch scene, often times needing reservations. They have a small outdoor seating area that is both covered and heated. Inside there is a bar area, and two dining areas with booths & tables. We sat outside and our server greeted us promptly. She was very nice and helpful, with a festive Christmas sweater. Reading over the menu, I never knew the history of Millie's! I strongly encourage anyone who eats there to read it, as the story is fascinating. After reading this I decided that "The Devils Mess" was my go to, while my gf got the NYE special "The Struggle Bus". Both of them were amazing! I didn't realize that the eggs in the mess were done frittata style, and anything with jalapeño biscuits is going to be great. The food was fantastic, filling, and definitely worth the under 20 price tag. Even though we were stuffed, we couldn't resist the cranberry buttercream chocolate cake. Moist, and delicious! This is certainly a place that you don't want to miss when visiting Richmond, and I feel bad that it's taken me this long to visit! Already excited about my next visit...

Yelp
Millie's is your quaint neighborhood diner. Inside is like a step back in time with table side jukeboxes and intimate tables and chairs. Visited for Sunday brunch with friends, a group of 5 and it was a tight fit at the table. Service was good, our server was attentive. I got the Huevos Rancheros which were yummy and filling. While the feel is a average diner, the food on the brunch menu was a step above.

Yelp
Heard so much about Millie's being a Richmond staple but was frankly a bit disappointed. A few vegetarian options on the menu, but nothing vegan, which is crazy for a Richmond restaurant in 2024 in my opinion since there's so much demand for vegan eats in the city. Regardless, split the Huevos Rancheros and Eggplant & Brie Sandwich with my partner. Both were flavorless and portions were small - the tortillas were basically soaked in black bean water under the eggs, and the cilantro-lime sour cream on the side did not taste like cilantro or lime. The sandwich had basically no flavor, and had a sorry piece of eggplant and tiny bit of cheese inside. I took several bites of just bread (the filling did not go all the way to the edges). The "famous" Millie's potatoes were undercooked for all of us and difficult to enjoy. Overall would not return, and would not at all consider Millie's an RVA gem given how many amazing brunch spots have opened in Richmond these days.

Yelp
Cool, casual old diner with a fun vibe. Attentive and friendly staff, with typical brunch fare. They have both indoor and outdoor eating, and a small but full bar. We went for Sat lunch, and the Crowd is loud and fun. Would definitely come back.

Yelp
The service was wonderful! We went and got served by Caroline, she was attentive, smiled and was overall just wonderful. The food was lovely and the restaurant was very laid back and enjoyable.

Yelp
Cool, funky little spot. Eclectic and lively, very fun atmosphere, with some delicious food. Service was very attentive too. Stopped in on a whim while in town for soccer tournament. Very glad I did! Would certainly suggest for brunch! Very short wait on St. Patrick's Day.

Yelp
Maybe it's my fault for having too high expectations, but I was really let down by brunch at Millies. I was disappointed by the proportions and the food itself. I got the chicken chilaquiles and there is zero chicken in the dish despite chicken being in the name. I asked my server and she said the chef's informed her that the chicken is merely cooked in the sauce. The drinks we're also a disappointment. You can expect a bloody a better bloody Mary than what I received at 80% of the restaurants in Richmond. All that said, the staff is super friendly and very welcoming. Couldn't be happier with the service.
google avatar

LeAnn F.

Yelp
The service was really quick and I got sat down immediately. I heard this is a local brunch spot, so it might get busy on the weekend. The decor is unique. It transports you to English pub, small stairs to downstair bathroom, and creepy dolls lol. I got the Cajun mess. It doesn't look appealing and there is a little kick to it. The dish was Not spicy. I'm just not sure it's worth the price. But if you like southern food, this is your place.

Yelp
Millie's has been here since 1989 and is soooo good We checked in and had an hour wait so we walked across the street to Libby park and scrolled a lil. Note to self tho they do offer drinks while you wait We got a text less than 40 min later and came back to be seated I ordered the devils mess since it is their signature dish and WOW the flavor hits immediately not too hot but sooo good add some sriracha and YES it was perfect I've never thought to add curry to eggs but yes o yes We had the Irish coffee which was so good most spiked coffees loose the coffee flavor but theirs is perfect We had the evil Knievel drink which is Millie's take on a rum runner It was sooooo good it was more citrusy than fruit punchy I loved it The Cajun mess was also very tasty and the crawfish was a creative addition The bathrooms are an adventure in itself you walk down the stairs into the unknown and find yourself in an adorable lil nook they offer single stalls very clean and I loved the décor the pinup lamp was my favorite!! Also the waiter had a BREAKFAST themed shirt oh this place is on my top Richmond stops for sure!

Simply I.

Yelp
Richmond institution. Classic Richmond gem for breakfast and brunch. The staff is welcoming. The food is always amazing.

Yelp
Millie's Ratings: 4.2/5 Food: 4.5/5 - I am always on the hunt for good brunch spots in Richmond. I'd been to a few in the RVA area, and I really enjoyed Millie's. The food is good, vibes are outstanding and fantastic! It is a great spot for a relaxing time and welcoming hospitality from the staffs. Please read the descriptions of the item I got for more details and visit my IG (noraeatsgood) for more content. - Eggs Ben-Gurion [GET]: A perfectly toasted everything bagel, fluffy and chewy, topped with smoked salmon and two nicely poached eggs. The smoked salmon is fresh and tasty. The hollandaise glaze was solid, a bit on the heavier side, but definitely added that moistness to the bagel. Unlike English muffins, I like the twist here, because the bread is denser and chewier. If you like spicy, make sure to add sriracha to the Ben-Gurion. I like their house made potatoes a lot too. They are not as crispy, but super flavorful, covered with bold spices and got a kick to it. Ambiance: 4.25/5 - Walking in, we can immediately feel the fun and energetic vibes. There's a small kitchen and bar right at the entrance, really cool. We sat in the back section, where the booths and decorated jukebox are located. There's upbeat music at the diner, but not too loud that we can't hear each other. Restrooms are downstairs with cool decor. Price: 4/5 - The eggs ben-gurion was $15 before tax and comes with a side of potatoes. Although it doesn't seem like there's a lot, but this meal was actually quite satisfying and filling. It is worth it. Service: 4/5 - Our server was nice, and we got seated as soon as we arrived for our reservation. The staffs are all very friendly, service was prompt, and welcoming. He took our orders and was able to take some special food requests from my sister as well. He would stop by and ask if we need anything and constantly come by to pick up our trash to free up some room for us on the table. Make sure to reserve a spot on OpenTable or call them. BLUF: Classic Southern brunch spot and a classic in RVA. They have been around for over 20+ years and are known for their famous potatoes. They use bold flavors, so the food can be either on the spicier or saltier side, just FYI. I highly recommend the Ben-Gurion if you are a fan of Egg Benedicts, interesting twist with a bagel or getting the corned beef hash. I would return again in the future.

Yelp
This place was recommended to me by a friend because she loved the specials. We went on a weekday (specials are only available on weekends) so we ordered from the normal menu. This diner has a lot of charm. The waitstaff was very friendly. Grilled Half Pound Angus Cheeseburger: I wasn't impressed with the burger. It was a bit overcooked and one of the people I was with spit it out when she tried it. Huevos Rancheros: My friend said even though it was big, it wasn't too heavy. He felt very neutral about it. Millie's Famous Potatoes: We all really enjoyed them. They have a nice little cumin-like kick. Grilled Salmon & Spinach Salad: Two people at our table got this and devoured it. They absolutely loved it. Said the vinaigrette was delicious and the salmon cooked just right. I think I'd come back to try their specials one day

Yelp
Edit: having been back to Millie's a few times since my original review 9 years ago I can say for me the place has improved tremendously. I've been back 3 times and the owner has not ever come out to yell at anyone, the staff are friendly and attentive, and as always the food is delicious. I'm really pleased that a local place with such great food now also has really wonderful service too.
google avatar

Yelp
If you're not there at least 20 min before opening you might want to make a reservation, I'm not exaggerating. This place was great though, staff was super nice and attentive, good was great and we're planning on going back even though we're an hr away.

Yelp
Decided to visit Millie's on a Saturday morning. Was surprised to be seated on such a busy day without reservations. There is something special about the ambiance of this diner. Cooks are right near the bar cooking away amazing food. It feels really homie and looks to be visited by many locals. I decided to order a Devils Mess. It was just enough food to be satisfied and exactly what I was hoping for on this day. The drinks were just as good and refreshing. Love the Star War memorabilia. Will be returning for breakfast again.

Yelp
Delicious brunch, great staff, and fun ambiance! Been there a few times and will go back again!

Yelp
So disappointed with this place. Since my first time trying in 2022, it seems the portions have gotten smaller. I paid about $22 for this takeout meal. Didn't even satisfy my hunger. Not sure why a 20% tip was added. The server was sitting on a bar stool when I walked in and the restaurant was mostly empty.
google avatar

Yelp
The food is delicious with not your average diner menu. The millie's potatoes have such yummy seasoning, sort of small portion but you'll be full. they're not crispy potatoes - they're flavorful and tender. I got the corned beef mess and the corned beef was perfectly cooked. There were also pickled mustard seeds on the mess that were delicious. Our server was nice and we didn't have to wait long for anything. This place has an eclectic cozy atmosphere and I would definitely come back - the flavors are spot on. Highly recommend making a reservation if you're coming on the weekend.

Yelp
I went here for brunch, & really enjoyed it! It's a casual place, & the prices are reasonable. They have holiday cocktails, & lots of other options if you're a bit if a grinch. They don't have too many options but all of what they do is unique! I went for the Lump Crab and Scrambled Egg Enchilada, & was not disappointed! It comes with breakfast potatoes as well. All a great way to start the day!

Yelp
Came here for Sunday brunch right when they opened :) we were able to call ahead to reserve a table. They wouldn't seat me till the rest of my party was there but the host did offer a mimosa while I wait so I was like yes please! The menu has very interesting! There is the standard brunch menu but with a twist which is fun :) I decided to go with the scramble eggs and lobster. Delicious scrambled eggs with big chunks of lobster in it :) I enjoyed it with the pastry puff they Sandwich the eggs in. The potatoes were good but alittle spicy for my liking. I did like how they tasted like cumin :) I can see why my friend loved to come here for brunch !

Yelp
Wanted to try something local. Came for breakfast on a Saturday. We approached the diner and walked up to the hostess. While she did greet my husband with a good morning, that was it. She just stood there... after a moment of awkward silence my husband told her we wanted to eat. She then asked if we had a reservation?? No, just 3 trying to have some breakfast. No wait, we were immediately seated. Place is small, dusty, and obnoxiously loud. Our waiter's social skills were even worse than the hostess. We managed to stick it through, order food even though we had already decided we would never return. Daughter and I ordered the salmon bagel benny dish and my husband ordered huevos rancheros (no pico). Food arrived. Food looked pretty... but hubs had tomatoes, onions and peppers on his dish that requested not to have. The smoked salmon was piled high, generous portions! But all flavors combined, not good. Potatoes cold and hard. Execution of the benny just assembled, taste was not there. Boxed to take home in hopes to fix it or at least to not waste salmon. Sigh. Very very sad. Waiter removed charge for husbands meal, but I can promise you I have never been more confused and disappointed with a restaurant. We went to Waffle House afterwards and had breakfast that was edible.

Yelp
I could tell this place is a staple just walking in. I only had the coffee and the hash, both were very good. However I know my wife would not have been a fan. So, I must warn about the hash and I'd be willing to bet this translates into other heavy dishes. Their potatoes are heavily seasoned with a uk style brown curry. In my opinion the level of seasoning is a bit over the top, not inedible but I felt it really subtracted from the rest of the dish. The curry tasted a bit like raw spice in that it wasn't really incorporated. On a hash which has so much richness the fried potatoes are kinda your only pallet cleanser (insane right?) so to make those one of the boldest flavors really flips the table on any kind of balance. Despite all that I did really enjoy it, but with every bite I kept thinking with more reasonably seasoned potatoes could this have been my best hash ever? However, I'm pretty sure curried potatoes is like one of their signature's. So what do I know? So just a warning for those that aren't chain smokers, hungover or fat kids like me.

Yelp
Millie's is a gem that I will be returning to as soon as I get the chance. The restaurant is quaint and the food is quite exceptional. The wait staff was very attentive, with our food out in partially no time. I am always impressed with a flavorful vegetarian huevos rancheros, and this meal went above and beyond! While the potatoes the meal came with weren't crispy, they did not disappoint. Would highly recommend any RVA locals make a point stop in!

Yelp
Giving one star for the incompetence I witnessed today lol tried to come here for brunch. We arrived at 12. We were quoted a 20 minute wait for an INSIDE table. We wait outside in the humid muggy weather for 20 minutes and approach host stand again to inquire about where we stand in terms of being sat. She lets me know that if we aren't willing to sit outside that it'll be another 40 minutes. So I let the host know - we were quoted 20 minutes - 20 minutes ago for an inside table. To which I get told "we have 8 reservations coming in @ 1230 so they get sat first" Then why was I quoted 20 minutes for an inside table 30 minutes before you apparently have to have 8 tables ready inside ? We decided to leave.
google avatar

Marci F.

Yelp
They are quite crowded on a Sunday morning. Apparently they do take reservation. I think I had the best seat in the house sitting at the bar and got to watch the kitchen make all the yummy dishes. Really good steak and eggs is what I had in the steak had a wonderful flavor and the asparagus had lemon on it. I wish I could've tried all the dishes I saw coming out of the kitchen. I took lots of photos though. Please make sure when you go there that you read the history of the restaurant on the front of the menu it's quite interesting! Tip there is parking across the street behind the gasoline station

Yelp
Loved everything about Millie's! The ambiance, the service, the drinks & food! Definitely one of the gems Richmond has to offer! All around great experience, can't wait to visit again!

Yelp
Nope. Nope. Nope. The Bloody Mary mix wasn't thick at all, and it didn't have good flavor. I sipped it one time and left it on the table. Instead of the server asking about it, she ignored that it remained full, and still charged us for it. My boyfriend ordered a mimosa that came in a plastic cup with ice and a straw???? Since when do mimosas come with ice or straws? It was a bit ghetto. Then, the food came with noooooo flavor at all. Nothing was seasoned. It tasted extremely bland. I felt like Gordon Ramsey when he goes to visit those failing restaurants. I went to chic fil a immediately after wasting my money here. I'm not sure how they have 4 stars.
google avatar

Yelp
The best breakfast in town! Love lunch and dinner too! Always happy when I go! Definitely love the "mess" and the omelette options are awesome!
google avatar

Ashley K.

Yelp
I am really conflicted writing this review. Millie's is super relax, no-frills, comfortable, diner dining, which I love! The food wasn't bad and the waitress was really attentive and kind.... But-- it just wasn't that standout breakfast experience that I heard from colleagues and read in many reviews. If you are looking for a relaxed place to go after a night out, then sure! If you just want some good messy food, sure! I think I was expecting a little more though. We ordered Cajun Mess and Devil's Mess. They were both okay but if you are leaning between picking either of these dishes, pick the Cajun Mess! It was a lot more flavorful than the Devil's Mess. And I did NOT like the potatoes. Our order was really dark, seemingly burnt and overly seasoned.
google avatar

Jennifer L.

Yelp
Great service and an interesting twist on breakfast/brunch items. We tried several different dishes including the Veggie Mess, Corned Beef Hash, Spicy Thai Shrimp and Shrimp and Grits. Found everything to be pretty tasty. The ambiance is cool and relaxed with lots of interesting decor. Nice spot to visit in downtown Richmond.

Yelp
Love love love this! I always get the Salmond here! It is always crowded and always a wait. Go as soon as they open. Warmer days are best as they have increased their outdoor seating. Before inflation I ate there a lot. Be aware that seating in the dining area is tight and up close and personal, if you worry about it be sure to eat outside or ask for a booth. They only have a couple of booths as soon as you walk in. Service is great!

Yelp
My Millies expierence started off weak as the hostess at the stand was disrespectful and rude, we waited 25 minutes outside in the heat, with no shade before being brought in, she was on her phone the whole time and didn't seem to be very helpful. Our waitress on the other hand was very nice although she did lack in the drink refill department. The food was okay, nothing to die for and nothing I'd go home and rave about. Portion was also very weak. My burger was not cooked properly and I received barely any potatoes. The potatoes I did receive were room temp and had no crisp at all. The eggs benny were okay, not the best in the area but serviceable. Pricing was mediocore, but for that quantity and quality it isn't worth it. The presentation was good and vibe of the restaurant was neat as well. The seats were very uncomfortable and tight, it was also very hot. I would pass on this spot if you are looking for brunch in the Richmond area.
google avatar

Terah L.

Yelp
When you first walk up to the hostess she asks "Do you have a reservation" Then she stares at you, you know you have hit foodie gold! If you much like us didn't call ahead then waiting with an empty stomach for a table may be a very long wait. One would be wise to call ahead to see if there is a spot available or how long the wait will be! We were fortunate because they had opened at 9A and it was 9:12A... we were able to get a table quickly. The ambiance is fun and funky. The old wooden benches creaked when you sat down and the decor was a mix of eclectic art, posters, and fabulous orange walls. The menu is ample but not so many choices that you sit for days reading, only to forget half way through what page the pasta was on! I must note that there are NO sweet options on the menu. So if sticky sweet pancakes and waffles are your jam then this place isn't for you. I ordered the avocado, tomato, and white cheddar omelette, I knew my husband would have potatoes so I picked a croissant from their lengthy list of sides. My husband had the corned beef hash, he said that the hollandaise was on point! The chunky house potatoes were sautéed with onions and peppers and were perfectly spiced. If I recall the menu said the potatoes were covered in Indian spices, oh my yum! If you want awesome food, well spiced, and full of flavor then stop by and check out Millie's. By the looks of the building it's been around for awhile, after tasting the food I know why they are successful!

Yelp
Easily 5 stars! Amazing food, exceptional service, and a dog-friendly patio! I had the brunch special today which was a carnitas breakfast bowl with pulled pork, house potatoes, scrambled eggs, avocado, pickled onions and a chipotle cream sauce. So good! The staff were super friendly to us and our dog. They even brought out a bowl of water and treat for our dog. We will definitely come back every time we visit Richmond.

Yelp
Found this nice lil spot on Google when I searched diners near me. We were seated immediately upon arrival and I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly our food came out. My party of 4 really enjoyed our meals! My bacon cheeseburger was big and juicy and Millie's Famous Spicy Potatoes were delicious with a bit of a kick! The prices were reasonable and the portion size was good! It was a beautiful day so we ate outside under the tent making it the perfect backdrop for a lovely brunch! Our waitress Allison was excellent! She was attention and very nice! I highly recommend checking out Millie's!

Yelp
Honestly not a lot to say except it did not disappoint! I went with an expectation to enjoy my meal and what I got was MORE! It was a WHOLE vibe! The staff are kind, attentive and ensure you have and get all that you need/want. Caroline, our server, was nothing short of that. She was so kind. My brunch was delicious as was my adult hot chocolate. If you're considering going...do yourself a favor and GO! You won't regret it! Chef's Kiss!

Breakfast time at last and I made my way to Millie's which was quite busy but I arrived just prior to the weekend brunch crowd and got a seat at the counter. Great service there as I probably could have floated a battleship with as much coffee as I had. I'm completely caffeined at this point. While the "mess" breakfasts certainly sounded good, I went to the specials board and had the Virginia Omelette. Lump crab meat, ham, tomatoes and cheddar cheese. It was amazingly delicious and served very hot. I ate the entire omelet and only a few of the potatoes because I'm still sticking to keto. Millie's was selling quite a few Bloody Mary's and Mimosas this morning so there's a good thing if you're looking for some "hair of the dog" at brunch time. The restaurant is busy and full and crowded, which makes for a good time. [Review 11773 overall, 1555 of 2019.]

Yelp
It's a brunch kind of place, but with character and spice. Every dish came with potatoes, which were full of flavor. And we tried a variety of dishes, and each was delicious. Glad we gave this place a try, and would easily go again.

Yelp
I was happy they were able to accommodate a table of 8 so quickly during Sunday brunch however from there it all went downhill. The server forgot 3 of our dishes and was also slow with service. The food itself was very average. The poached eggs were basically hard boiled, not runny at all on the eggs Benedict. The steak and eggs were well done and somewhat tough. The menu includes typical brunch offerings nothing unique.

Yelp
OMGGG try their Devil's mess. I don't even eat meat and had ordered veggie mess and was accidentally given the Devil's mess. It was an explosion of flavor in my mouth and I realized after the initial euphoria that it had sausage in it lolol. Was sad to return my mess. House potatoes are really well seasoned. Best breakfast potatoes I've ever had. The messes and potatoes have Indian spices. It reminds me of masala omelette back home :) Also, EVIL KEEVIL cocktail is really really good. Hit the spot after doing the monument 10K race
