"Fried to order, this Venezuelan spot caught the attention of Food Network heavyweight Guy Fieri on “Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives” for empanadas that balance the perfect crunchy outside with a soft and flavorful inside." - Alona Martinez

10 Can’t-Miss Empanadas in Miami

"We tried to focus solely on the empanadas for this guide. But we can’t talk about Milly’s without talking about their space. Their use of neon lights is tasteful, and they have an empanada-shaped mirror we’ve repeatedly tried to find online because we need it in our living room. But the reason why they're on this guide is not because of how aesthetic they are, it’s because of how crispy and fulfilling their empanadas are. Each is medium-sized, fried to order, and has the perfect amount of sweetness in its dough. They also have a ghost kitchen in Wynwood if you’re looking for grab-and-go. But if you’re looking to have a sit-down breakfast or just want to get some work done with a side of empanadas, head over to their main location in Kendall. " - Julia Malave

"Cute is everywhere at Milly's, a casual Venezuelan spot in Kendall. The empanada-shaped mirror near the bathrooms, the calming dark blue walls that rival a weighted blanket, and the bright mural of two dessert travelers stumbling upon Milly's like it's a little oasis—so cute. All of it. The menu is classics done well, like arepas, cachapas, and what are definitely some of the best Venezuelan empanadas in Miami. Nothing on that menu is more than $15 either, and Milly’s is a great way to convince any friends who never go south of Coconut Grove to come visit you in Kendall. " - Ryan Pfeffer, Virginia Otazo

"Milly's is a casual Venezuelan spot in Kendall that's impossible to describe without using the word "cute" at least seven times. Small counter order restaurant with a full menu. Lots of empanadas and Venezuelan treats. We had a couple of empanadas, which were tasty. We had Milly’s famous Pabe-yo-yo as featured in Diners Drive In’s and Dives. It was quite flavorful, but a bit too much. I would stick with some simple empanadas.

I love this place, where the food is spectacular, where the flavor is so important, whatever you order from all the variety they have, everything, but everything is delicious... where the atmosphere and cleanliness play a tremendous role... I challenge you to go eat here. The personalised and dedicated attention takes care of every detail to make your experience the best. And as it happened to me, I know you'll return. I recommend it 200%. The best option of Venezuelan food.

I stopped by a few weeks ago after hearing my mom rave about how delicious these empanadas are. I have to say, they really did live up to the hype — the flavor was excellent! However, the young woman at the front desk could have been a bit more welcoming. We mentioned it was our first time and that we were visiting from out of town, so a warmer reception would have made the experience even better.

Nice small place. A must try. Typical Venezuelan fast food a must try. Tried the breakfast croissant with eggs and bacon. Decent. Cachapa with steak, steak came a little cold. 3 tequeños were good for $5+. 2 adults 1 child. 1 jugo d mora. $37+

What can I say about Milly's that I haven't told before to the people that I recommend it to them. To start, if you go for something similar to fast food, the empanadas, the Venezuelan-style hot dog is a good option and let's not talk about their patacones, they are delicious! It's delicious food! What I love about Milly's besides their food, definitely their attention, always warm, respectful and if they do their best to ensure that the customer is satisfied, and since they moved, they have a much more comfortable space to enjoy the food. And the best thing about this place is that even though most of its products are fried, it doesn't smell like frying or old oil and that is very important to me.

First I apologize for not uploaded food pictures but I just was really hungrier. I ordered the Milly’s home cheeseburger 😍😋😋 just incredible, amazing flavor, one of the best burgers I had tasted in Miami. My kids loved the hotdogs as well, they said the taste was awesome. Place is really nice, well decorated. The owner was the one attending the customers, he was amazing, I can tell that the place is really good managed. Is a family business, owner’s mom is the obedient who cooks the meats, and it really tastes amazing. If you want to eat good you need to go there. Oh, I almost forgot they have a great selection of empanadas.

These empanadas are something you have to try. They are crispy and thin but very filling and cooked at the perfect temperature so that when you take your first bite you feel the taste of perfection in your mouth.

I can not say enough good things about this place!! We were in town and decided to stop by, it was OUTSTANDING! The flavors of the food were bold and they all complement each other so well. We ordered Millys pabe yoyo, pork Patacon and a Chicken Empanada. They were served w a delicious cilantro sauce and house sauce which just put everything over the top. Absolutely exceptional. The service was superb. I highly highly recommended and we will be returning
