Milt’s Extra Innings Jewish Deli Is Closing in Chicago’s Lakeview - Eater Chicago
"Milt’s Extra Innings, the Kosher deli expansion of Milt’s Barbecue for the Perplexed in Lakeview, announced its last day of service will be March 17, citing struggles to compete with other options and lower-than-projected sales. The deli opened less than 17 months ago, highlighted Jewish baseball history, employed special needs workers, and donated 100 percent of profits to charity." - Daniel Gerzina

Not only do they employ adults that may not have a place to work otherwise and donate their proceeds, their food is delicious! Everyone was so sweet and eager to help, and my sandwich was made in a very timely manner and was so good. I will definitely be back!
