their dumplings are fresh and flavorful, with a variety of options to suit every palate. • The chicken and rice dish is also excellent, with perfectly cooked chicken and fluffy rice. But the real standout is the chicken bone broth, which is rich and flavorful and rivals even the best homemade broth. • Vegetarians will also find plenty of delicious options on the menu. • the inside is small but comforting, and there's 5 options for drinks at the front that you can see if you wanted to know 😛 but I would definitely recommend

Probably some of the blandest, most unseasoned dumplings I’ve ever had. I walked in and it was completely empty. The guys at the front helped me - they were nice enough. I figured for the price I’d be getting some amazing dumplings and ofc a dipping sauce. I got the vegetarian dumplings, took them to go and went home. I opened up the box to see all of them stuck together and when I went to separate them, half of them ripped open. You would think for a “dumpling place” they’d at least package the dumpling so they don’t break apart OR use strong dumpling wrapper. I went to eat the vegetarian dumpling regardless and they were literally the most unseasoned asian food I have ever eaten. I honestly feel scammed. I paid $18 for the dumplings and a side of chili oil and I ended up having to make my own sauce at home bc the chili oil was just HOT not flavorful. I don’t think they even seasoned any of the ingredients or the water. I wish they would shut this place down. That food was such a scam

I love this place! I was so happy to find such flavorful, delicious vegetarian dumplings! The pan fried version were perfectly cooked and not too greasy. I found the price to be reasonable for the quality of food. I’m glad they do not compromise on ingredients, and I appreciate the free range eggs and fresh vegetables (and hopefully they pay their employees well too! 🙌). Looking forward to trying other things on the menu next time!

I ordered the chicken and rice which is their version of 3 cup chicken, probably my favorite Taiwanese dish that I get when going to authentic Taiwanese or Jianxi cuisine. There version is boneless and has very good flavor. However, authentic versions typically are thicker and not as watery. I wish that was the case here and it would have the dish feel a bit more authentic. I also had the pork and chive dumplings which came with a sweet and sour sauce. Pretty good, I would return and try some of their other dishes.

I really really wish I could give a better rating but ordered the 12 hour chicken noodle soup and it tasted like the noodles were simply placed in water 😭 I tried to eat it but had to ask for soy sauce to continue in order not to waste the food. I am not sure if it was just a bad day or if there was a mishap.

Cute spot and the food is tasty, but the prices are just too high for what should be inexpensive convenience food. The food shown in my photo cost $60 for 2x dumpling servings, a small bowl of soba noodles and a meager plate of steamed leaves.

Excited to have Mimi Cheng’s so close to home! I’ve always had the dumplings and noodles as pre-movie at the East Village shop. This may be my post-Trader Joes stop… dumplings are great, and so are the Dan Dan noodles. The chicken and rice is a lite take on the traditional 3-cup chicken dish, missing the skin. Would totally sip a cup of broth to go on a cool day.

Overpriced, overhyped, and so bland! Honestly have no idea what the hype is here. It’s $15 for 8 dumplings and they honestly had no flavor whatsoever. They were boiled and there was too much dumpling skin which made parts chewy. The meat itself had no flavor , not even salted well and the only thing that had any sort of flavor was the chives. Would not come back
