Minelli's Pizza

A nice neighborhood simple Italian restaurant. It was my first time eating at Minelli's. It was a nice treat. The party I was with got pepperoni pizza, pepperoni mushroom sausage pizza, spaghetti and meatballs and I got the antipasto salad. The pizza was surprisingly good made with quality ingredients. I was told the spaghetti and meatball was very good. The antipasto salad was good, but I felt it was more like a house salad with a little cured meat.

A HIDDEN GEM. The food is truly delicious. The atmosphere is like going to your GRANDMA’S kitchen( I’m Italian, so I can say this ) !!! The service and the people who work there are just wonderful and very welcoming !! There Is a great little bar attached which is owned by them also , so if you order takeout, plan to have a nip NEXT DOOR, and have a wonderful time. The prices are very reasonable !!! I can’t say enough good things. I do have my favorite dishes, but I’ve tried most of the items on their menu. All DELICIOUS !!! BRAVO. It is FAMILY owned and operated and the FAMILY is FABULOUS !!!!

Everything was great top to bottom. Starting with the ease of online ordering. Secondly the service was great. Woman at the counter was very nice, conversational and made sure all my needs were met. Next, the cook was great. Brought me out my food and made sure to open the box to show me the fresh piping hot pizza. Pizza was topped great with toppings and well seasoned. The only issue was the cheesy bread was kinda hard. Overall would be back.

One of my favorite restaurants. The food never disappoints. The service is always spot on. The prices are still very reasonable. I will let the pictures speak for themselves. Large pepperoni and Pizza Large all the way pizza (the works) Garlic bread with cheese Antipasto Salad Cinnamon Dessert. Will definitely be back. Their pizza is top 3 in my book.

This was my first time in Columbus and I always like to try local food in new cities, and after a little research, I found my way to Minelli’s. The staff here was great to talk to, Nancy and Joseph had me feeling like family, and the food was fantastic. I’ll definitely be stopping here next time I’m in town. Thanks, guys!

Food and service are great. Try their homemade spaghetti noodles! We love their pizza but our new fav is the spaghetti made with homemade noodles, delicious sauce and large meatballs ! The kids size spaghetti is pictured, and is enough to feed an adult

The homemade spaghetti was amazing! Grace took my carry out order over the phone and recommended the cheese sticks and they were SO good! I asked her to surprise me with whichever flavor cannoli….do NOT skip out on the chocolate cannoli!!! First time there and I’ll definitely be back! Thank you, Grace!

Went to Minelli's for a get together. well in honesty we went the The Next Door Tavern for adult beverages and ordered pizza. We got the Chicken Bacon Blue which was excellent. I only ate 1 piece since we had other food too. (Their Fried Bologna was FAB!) so I decided to take a pie home for later. Got our standard double cheese, pep, mushroom & banana pepper. I snuck a piece on the drive home & it was delicious. While it did not heat up as well as I would have liked, the taste was really good. I tried some in the air-fryer as well as putting some on a stone in the oven. The stone worked best but it still was more chewy than the piece I ate on my drive home. But overall it was a very good pie! Highly recommend! And the owners & staff in both the restaurant & the bar are absolutely fantastic!

Great service. Really good pizza house style sub. Just the way it should be. Old school place but very comfortable.

Very good pizza for Ohio and this is coming from a New Yorker. And chicken parm was good too. Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Worth a stop in

Welp, not my favorite pizza by any means but it has its pros. For one, you can order online and the process was really easy. Second, it was a Saturday night and the pick up time was only thirty minutes which is pretty fast considering it was on the weekend. I can also say that it was really affordable. We ordered a salad, some wings, and a large half pep, half cheese pizza. The pizza is where Minelli's missed the mark. The salad is what you'd expect and my friend really enjoyed the wings. The pizza on the other hand, was a mess. It was over cooked and the crust was so hard to bite, I really had to chew to get through. It was really bland and I wasn't a huge fan of their cheese. I also didn't like that the pizza was so yellow/orange. It was just eh. Overall, three solid stars. I wouldn't order the pizza again but maybe some of their other options.

Delicious pizza. Fresh salad. Endless pop. We have been going for the lunch special in the middle of the afternoon through the week. There is a nice variety of items Monday through Friday on the lunch special. The product is always good and very consistent.

I ordered a pickup while on this side of town. I was really impressed. I grew up on Minelli's Pizza, the Sullivant Ave location. I was unsure of ordering this time due to about 9 months ago I was over and my son had ordered a pizza at his house and it was terrible, but I gave it another try. The young lady who checked me out was so nice and courteous. The pizza looked so good when I looked at it in my truck, that I had to try a piece of both. It was delicious! I pretty much ate my dinner driving home. I will be stopping by again when I am back on that side of town. In my opinion, it tastes much better fresh and hot than delivered or reheated!

This place is absolutely fantastic. They have great pizza and homemade pasta . My favorite spot to eat, the prices are good as well

I'm sorry I missed this great pizza for so many years. Pizza has a great crust baked in their old oven.

Fantastic classic Columbus pizza place! All your favorite toppings with that snappy crust. OMG you must try their HOMEMADE spaghetti dinner. Our absolute favorite. Friendly family environment with good sized dining room. Subs and lunch specials are a great value.

I want to give them a higher rating, but after going twice a 3 is where I stand for now. First pizza had the same toppings minus the jalapeño and it was fantastic. Greta crunch and flavor, but this second pizza wasn't cooked enough. Little to not crunch, and it just didn't look that great. I will go back for a third time, but just adding some jalapeños should not make a significant difference in quality of a pizza. If so, they should know to bake it longer. The pizza in the picture was the yeasty one.

Decided to check this place out for carryout tonight. Ordered a large 1/2 pepperoni and mushrooms, 1/2 mushrooms and green peppers.Also got some garlic bread and the cannoli's. The pizza crust was a little over cooked. They use Ezzo's pepperoni which is the Cadillac of pepperoni's. The Garlic bread was cooked a little too long also, it had a great taste though and the dipping sauce was excellent. I think I will have to give them another try, they've been in business for many years and you don't do that without having a quality product. There is an enormous amount of cool pictures and memorabilia. I could come back just so I could talk about it. The cannoli's were very fresh and had a nice cream to go with the crunchy cannoli shells. Yummmy.

I ordered a pepperoni pizza and an Italian sub. Picked my order up 3 minutes after online ordering stated it should be ready. I live one block away. When I got home and opened the pizza box I could tell it was not going to be very good. The crust was extremely thin, room temperature, and was very chewy. It tasted like it had been sitting all day. If it was under heat lamps it should have still been at least warm but it was not. The Italian sub literally had one thin slice of ham and one thin slice of salami (was actually two slices of salami but there was one slice for each half of the sub. I don't have the money to spend eating out but wanted to treat myself. That was a $30 mistake I can't make again.

So, this is my second time in a week I've craved a big huge salad, the anti-pasta salad is perfecto!! So fresh, crisp, tons of great flavored meats. They put it in a pizza box which allows you to open it for everyone to get some. Husband loved the boneless wings with Buffalo sauce and the bacon & cheese fries. The garlic bread with cheese is perfectly soft and juicy, not hard. I also got a small kids spaghetti with meatball, which is a perfect size for me, so delicious. We totally recommend and will continue to visit.

I "accidentally" found this pizza spot while looking for alternate local options to try. Change it up a bit, ya know? Minelli's is now in the official rotation! I have yet to be disappointed in my experience here. We haven't dined in (only order carry out) and usually go with a large 2-topping pizza & large antipasto salad. We're always blown away with the size of the salad. Food is delicious! For a treat, I recommend the regular cannoli!

We placed a delivery order from Minelli's and were very impressed with the quality. The food arrived warm and was packaged well. I hadn't tried their food before and we thought it sounded good based on the menu - overall it was great! My favorite thing about the meal was the sauce they use - it is super flavorful and a lot better than some of the other businesses I've tried. I also absolutely loved their branding and packaging - it made for a fun take-out experience & was a fun meal to enjoy. I would definitely love to try them again & try more of their menu options.

Close to work and having passed by often I finally got the chance to try Minelli's. My co-workers wanted to get pizza for lunch and I wanted to try a new place. Online ordering was super easy. My order was ready by the time they said it would be. They were staffed with friendly folks that got my order to me right away. The pizza was pretty tasty. It had a lot of flavor. A bit on the greasy side, but that is fine because we were looking for greasy pizza that day. Overall it was pretty good.

I wish I could give this place a 0. We came in before 2 other tables were seated and served drinks and not one time were we asked what we wanted to drink. It wasn't crowded. The skinny older lady with the short hair didn't ask us what we wanted to drink until we got up to leave. She had the audacity to say OUT LOUD.. that we were only sitting down for 2 minutes. A FAT LIE. We were there BEFORE the other 2 tables were served. The lady with the long blond hair served the other table that came in 5 minutes AFTER we sat down. Unbelievable! It's 2023 folks! Terribly disappointed and saddened.

Minelli's Pizza is a Westside staple with name Recognition. Standard Columbus Ohio pizza (if we have a style) thin crust crispy pizza served with a delicious tomato pizza sauce and topped with classic cheese blend and your choice of other toppings. Pizza is cut in squares and boxed fresh out of the over hot! Minelli's is more than just pizza, and they are serving up classics small-town American Italian food mixed with some American appetizer sports fare. The only downside is I wish this location were closer to my HilltopUSA home, and I didn't have to order via a 3rd party app to have delivered.

What are your top pizza places to frequent here in central Ohio? I still have a few places to, but I must say my recent discovery of Minelli's Pizza blew me away. When I got these pies home and opened the box, the smell hit my nostrils and woke them up. My mouth began to water, and I prayed that this was going to be some good za. I was not disappointed; the pizza was the absolute bomb. The sauce was the way I like it, savory with a tad bit of a kick. The choice of cheese complimented the pepperoni and spicy Italian sausage. The pepperoni was tremendous, but the Italian sausage had this unique texture that I've been missing from my days growing up in Brooklyn, New York, and eating sausage rolls with ketchup. Those sausage rolls always brought me to a place of euphoria.

Second time I've tried Minelli's. I thought it was truly terrible the last time I had it, but people kept swearing by it so I thought I'd get it again. 14in pepperoni. Cornmeal crust feels cheap. It's like thin crust dominoes, but with a bit more crunch. Sauce actually has a bit of a bitter aftertaste. Not much taste to the cheese. I ate until full but threw it out after. And I never throw out pizza. I certainly don't hope this mom and pop shop closes by any means, but I don't understand how it's stayed alive with all the great options in Columbus.

You won't find a better pizza or better service. We were very sad when Minellis on Sullivant Ave closed and were overjoyed when we found the Wilson Rd location. It's only been there for 34+ years. Great family dining.

I love finding Old School , Family Owned Restaurants . I finally found out about MINELLI'S from a co worker . He tells me he stops by on the way home and buys the Spaghetti Dinner . I had to try it ! So my Wife and I went tonight ! I ordered the Homemade Spaghetti and Beef Ravioli . She ordered the Manicotti . Excellent !!!! Loved the thick , not chunky , but smooth red sauce ..... soooooo good . The Pasta was excellent . I love the vibe of this place . It's in a small strip mall . Just great old school Italian . The salad and bread was good too . Can't wait to go back ! Glad I found out about this west side Columbus gem !

For many years, we have loved their perfectly seasoned Italian wings. Unfortunately, new year's eve may have been the last time we ordered from them as it was a disaster. We got 3 orders of their Italian wings - ordered online and picked up. After being rudely checked out by one of their female employees, I walked out to my car and checked the container to make sure we had the correct order. I immediately suspected something was wrong because their Italian wings look much more seasoned than what they gave me. I walked back in to confirm my order was correct. The same employee that had checked me out immediately jumped in to rudely address me while I was explaining to the other female employee there that I thought my order was not right. They told me those were the right wings; they looked different because they were cooked on "new grease". Umm! Kinda worrisome but ok! I get home and we then notice all 18 wings were flats; maybe they were out of drums???! They also did not taste at all like their usually delicious Italian wings. It's a shame they gave me the wrong order and then choose to be rude to me when I tried to tell them.

Last week my boss took us ladies out to lunch. I had their daily special, cheeseburger and fries! It was DELISH! I kept seeing these amazing looking and smelling pizzas come out and decided that one day this week I'd surprise my family with pizza for dinner. Today was the day!! Not only was the pizza amazing, our other items were yummy too (Shrimp dinner, side salad, fries, and onion rings). Everything tastes great and was fairly inexpensive! Absolutely would recommend them and we WILL be back!

Family owned and managed. It shows, and they treat everyone as family. A great little place for take out. Also has a dining room. The pastas and salads are my go too.

Ordered on DoorDash. Middle school cafeteria pizza cut into squares. A salad that was massacred by whole slices of deli meat, and garlic bread hold the bread.

Wilted lettuce in my antipasto salad. Called and they are giving me the run around. I just want to trade it for a fresh one

So I've ordered from this location a few times. One not so good experience and two good experiences. The not so good experience ended with a replacement meal for free including delivery because of the delivery issue. Now the pizza is good, thin crust style, very tasty. I have been a fan of Minelli's since I lived down the street from the one on Hilliard-Rome Rd. No minimum order amount for delivery makes it so much better if you live alone and are working on a small budget. They typically deliver quite fast as well depending on your location, the closer the better. Staff has always been nice and friendly, which makes ordering much better and easier.

The owner was nice and the Manicotti was good too. Nice small Italian Restaurant in Columbus. Didn't take any pics bit go check out this little gem.

Good pizza, good meatball subs and good wings. The wings are not tossed in sauce. The meat pizza is better than the pepperoni alone

Minelli's food is top notch. The pizza is mid-west style with a cracker crust, square cut. They use old world pepperoni, which is just a bit spicy and is delicious. Their Italian subs are awesome with plentiful toppings. The customer service here is also great. I highly recommend this lesser known gem.

Superb homemade pizza and lasagna! Love that these are local owners and make the dough in house. The lasagna is also huge and EXCELLENT! Service is consistently great as is the food. Also, get the fried pepperoni salad--DELISH!!! Definitely a fan!

Pizza and sandwiches are really good. There is a young lady that works in the kitchen she is absolutely gorgeous. She help me locate my phone the other day, what a lifesaver

LOVE this local pizza joint. Not being a huge pizza fan I always get the fried pepperoni salad, Italian wings and cheesy garlic bread. Never disappoints. The homemade Italian dressing is delicious, wings are always crispy yet tender, and the cheese garlic bread is always warm, fluffy and heavenly.

Pizza and service were great. Sales are huge respective to the size ordered and served in a peculiar fashion. Hot Italian subs are very good. Had a pasta plate as well and it was also very good. The sauce was a tad sweeter than I like but still really good. Great family owned local food joint!

Arrgh, I've been driving up and down 70 and 270 for twenty years, never bothering to exit onto Wilson for some of the best pizza around. We've been doing 'new pizza Friday' as entertainment during covid but Minelli's will be a return. Loved the cornmeal crust - amazing crunch! Maybe a bit polarizing with the family, but all agreed excellent pizza. They're also setup for high volume, no wait on a Friday night.

The food is great. I had the homemade spaghetti with meatball, my son had the Italian sausage sandwich, and we split a pepperoni pizza. We'll be back for sure. Great Italian atmosphere. When you walk in the doo the place just smells great, like an Italian kitchen.

As a self proclaimed pizza crust connoisseur, this place nails it. Delicious corn meal cracker style crust which has the perfect crunch and doesn't get soggy. All the toppings are delicious, we got the works as well as a pep/mushroom pizza. Both were excellent and Minelli's now fights for my favorite pizza around Hilliard. Can't wait to try again.

Stopped by for lunch on a Wednesday and it was packed! All because their Wednesday lunch special is amazing: a mini pizza with one topping, a salad and a drink for $8.99. So worth it! I had a sausage pizza and after thinking I wouldn't be able to eat it all, I ate it all. So fresh, crust is crispy and the sauce perfect. Yummy.

I met Jeff today, the owner. He delivered my pizza. He was a nice and polite and I enjoyed speaking with him. The pizza is a Thin crust. The toppings are small sharp pepperonis and the sauce a tangy flavor, good spiciness. No sweet sauce here, thank god. The pizza has a tiny outer edge crust, just enough to grasp the outer edges without sticking my fingers in sauce. The second half i had pineapple and ham. the spicy sauce with the perfect sized ham and pineapple bits was a great combo.

Closes way to early and could use a bigger menu especially with All these people so close.

Very good pizza, even though we are out of their delivery area, worth the drive to pick up. Love their crust and sauce, cooked perfectly every time. We often eat lunch there, subs and pasta are good also but we normally don't pass up the pizza. Very affordable especially lunch time, highly recommend them.
