The Best Korean Restaurants in South Florida | Eater Miami

"Ask Lauderhill locals where to go for a relaxed Korean meal, and the answer will be Minji’s Cafe. The small family-owned eatery is known for its fresh, made-to-order traditional Korean offerings such as spicy rice cakes, Korean blood sausage, and deeply flavored soft tofu stew. When it comes to specialties, don’t skip the kimbap (rice and other ingredients rolled in seaweed served as small bites), and remember to try the deep-fried chicken gizzards and seafood pancakes." - Juliana Accioly

7 Best Korean BBQ Restaurants In Miami

"The handwritten chalk menu that lines Minji’s walls (featuring a soju-chugging Pikachu) is almost as fun to read as it is to eat. Consider your options carefully while K-pop concerts play on the TV behind you. Start with one of the small plates, like spicy tteokbokki, a kimchi pancake, or fried Korean dumplings the size of your fist. For bigger plates, your options are noodle dishes, Korean barbecue, stews, and soups—but the best things here involve broth. Their excellent naengmyeon comes with chunks of ice floating in the tangy broth, and there might not be a soup on Earth that’s more appropriate for infernally hot South Florida." - ryan pfeffer

Google
I found out about this place in June. Even though I don’t live or work nearby I’ve been trying to find reasons to come back. Food is sooo amazing. They’re authentic!! More importantly is that they serve food pipping hot but FAST!! This has become my reason to drive west and for great Korean Food.

Google
I came to Fort Lauderdale for work and was craving Korean stew. I’ve had many different stews in Texas but the Mackerel stew here was the best I’ve ever had. The side dishes were delicious and the seafood pancake was perfect!! Definitely on my list of places to visit when I return. Just a heads up, the decor inside isn’t aesthetic, it gives off a mom and pop shop.. But that’s where the best food comes from.

Google
Love this little restaurant, great food and service. The decor of the walls is both informational and artistic, a vibe. My new go to for sure! 🫰🏾

Google

Google
The best Korean food in town. Don’t get swayed by the simple decor. The owner is a gentleman, quiet in demeanor and doesn’t talk much. He politely set our order down and let us enjoy one of the best lunches I’ve ever had. I wish I could rate this higher than 5 stars.

Google
My friend and I visited here for the first time today. We ordered jajangmyeon, yukgaejang, and tteokbokki- all very tasty. The banchan was very fresh and also delicious. We will definitely be coming back!

Google
Delicious authentic food. The service was very quick. I felt comfortable the entire time. It had a great selection of traditional dishes. It was very affordable considering the serving sizes. I will recommend it to anyone looking to try Korean Food. 10/10 Will be coming back.

Price point is very good for what it is, food is flavorful, fresh and delicious. Owner doesn't talk much but is very considerate and attentive to your needs even if you don't ask for anything.

Yelp
Their food was amazing and actually authentic. The food is truly Korean food and the staff are Korean themselves which for some reason is not common in Miami. The boss of this establishment is really accommodating and nice!!! I didn't have the pleasure of going to the store in person but even with the DoorDash order the food was hot and delicious. I took a picture mid devour. I will seek this place everytime I'm in Florida!

Yelp
I hesitated to write a review on Minji's because I want to gatekeepe this spot for as long as I can. But... the world deserves to know just how amazing Minji's is. Maybe the most authentic Korean food I've had the pleasure of experiencing. Coming here feels like a special treat, although if I could, I'd probably eat it every day. Service is always amazing and the food never disappoints. This time around we got the kimchi pancake to share, which was a nice balance of a crunchy outer layer and a soft doughy inside packed with kimchi flavors. We tried the cod stew which was also packed with flavor and was a perfect warm dish. Finally, I got the jjol-myeon which is a chewy cold noodle with egg on top. And of course, the side dishes that include pickled radish and kimchi. Overall, Minji's is truly an amazing hole-in-the-wall that has been a longtime favorite of mine. If you enjoy Korean food, you have to come here. You won't regret it.

Yelp
This is my first time trying traditional Korean food and I was thrilled. Everything we had was delicious. They offer a menu with pictures along with their regular menu which was very helpful for the items I didn't know the names to. The restaurant is small but clean and has pictures and sayings all over the walls. It's very fun and charming. The food takes a while to come out but it didn't bother me because everything was fresh and made to order. I can't wait to try more items on the menu.

Yelp
AUTHENTIC KOREAN FOOD! 1st time here and it didn't disappoint. They had all the classics, good prices, staff was friendly, food came out fast and was very flavorful. I will say, I wish there was add-on options for the ramen (like rice cake, fish cake, cheese). I could definitely tell immediately this was an authentic spot with the cozy vibes and Korean tv haha. I would definitely come back here.

Yelp
One of my fav Korean restaurants. Local business for over 15 years. No frills no fuss just authentic Korean food and friendly service. Their KFC wings are sooooooo good you must get them. The tteokbokki is great to you can add cheese, hotdogs, egg, etc. don't forget to try their soups, gizzards, and their cold noodles. I'm a fan of it all, their banchan is fresh and tasty. The owner is friendly and doesn't speak much English so don't take it personal. Oh And to drink my fav, Makku.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the food I got today as a delivery--reminded me of food back from home! The food came nice and hot, and super fresh! Loved how I was able to get the side dishes on the side, and the spice level was just right for the tofu soup! Would totally recommend if you're in the mood for Korean food

Yelp
I am so happy I chose to dine at Minji's Cafe!!! I was looking for Korean food and saw them on Yelp... Just wanted a quick lunch and thought this would be a good place for it. It was perfect! The food was excellent. The restaurant is clean. The employees were pleasant. The food was fresh and hot. This could be a go to place for me. I really enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere and reasonable prices!

Yelp
Good Korean food is available here. It's not fancy, but you can get an authentic Korean home-cooked-style (Jip bap집밥) meal. This place reminds me of my mom's homemade food. It's not too sweet, salty, or spicy. The price is fairly reasonable. It's a good place to get quick Korean food. 가격도 맛도 괜춘합니다 반찬 안짜고 맛있어요 추천

Yelp
Was very hungry for lunch and stopped by here. Pork katsu Very thin but crispy. Rice was good and fluffy. I've never had the cabbage and thousand island dressing before, it was sweet and tangy. Also came with pickled radish which was tangy too. Seafood pancake Delicious. The dipping sauce tasted like ponzu? Which is an acidic soy sauce Overall good. I didn't know most dishes were going to be acidic. It tasted very good though. Will be back to try more dishes.

Yelp
The experience here was great. As someone who has never tried korean food, and is pretty picky, I really w enjoyed eating her as it allowed me to have a delightful and memorable first experience. I enjoyed the realness of the restaurant seeing as one can note that it is a homey comfort food type of place. A hidden gem. The service was great as well. Very kind.

Yelp
Went to Minji's cafe for dinner for my son in laws birthday . He was born in South Korea and loves the food. The food was delicious. The service was excellent. Small diner/cafe setting , but clean and comfortable. Prices reasonable . Wonderful dinner !

Yelp
I lived in Cheongju, South Korea for many years and am SO happy to have found Minji's cafe for the authentic Korean cuisine I've been searching for. The food, the service, the atmoshpere, everything is incredible. We live about 35-40 minutes away but are happy to make the drive to Minji's. What a gem!

Yelp
Minji's is a nice little spot to get authentic Korean food. It's a cozy restaurant with a friendly staff that greats you as you enter. Great Mom and Pop restaurant in the corner of the shopping plaza. It's got a laid back, casual ambience like a friendly neighborhood restaurant should. The food was pretty good and we weren't waiting long at all. I had the Fried Rice Omelette with beef which is a great choice if you want something that's filling but doesn't feel too heavy. The ramen is pretty good as well. Overall the meals were inexpensive and everyone left feeling satisfied. Parking is pretty open as it's located in the right hand corner of the shopping plaza. It has a small sign to keep your eyes open for but there are always the neon signs to make sure you don't miss it. Business hours are usually from 5pm to 10pm. If you are in the area, give it a try!

Yelp
Ordered thru Uber Eats. I'm in search for a good Korean restaurant as I eat Korean food at least once every other week. -delivered quick even it's 20 min away from my house -food portion was small. It might be different when you dine in. - Pork belly as good. Simple flavoring (not too salty which is plus). Sides also were small/ sauce containers. Kimch, fish cake and shredded potato which all were good flavor. Fish cake was more salty side than sweet. -soft tofu soup: small portion/ half pint which is 50% less than other Korean restaurants. Flavor was good. Not spicy (I'd prefer hotter but not complaining). Had few shrimps, a shellfish, zucchini onion tofu & egg (not whole but maybe beaten?). I'd try dining in if I have a chance to give this place a better/fair review.

Yelp
Really good low priced Korean. Multiple choices of appetizers , stews and soups, plates, etc! We had the hot pot bibimbap , spicy pork , and steamed dumplings. Hot hot and pork tasted great but the dumplings were meh... even with that though we were still very happy.. will gladly return

Yelp
An all time favorite. Fresh side dishes, delicious kimchi stew with chunks of meat and tofu in a fresh broth...great customer service, moving swiftly in the busy restaurant. It's small and quaint, as soon as you walk in it's a concert sound of KBS channel with Korean music videos. I'm all for the culture. I like the handwritten menu on the walls. The presentation of the food was excellent. Bright colors and neatly placed on the platters and bowls. At first I only ordered online and had it sent home, but today was such a treat to experience Minji's cafe. I am officially a regular. I love Korean food!

Yelp
Coming from a Korean girl from Cali, this place is great. Definitely the most authentic Korean food I have had since moving to Florida. It's a hole in the wall, but those are the best right?? They have all the panchan (side dishes) too! We ordered the dumplings, galbi, grilled pork belly, spicy pork, and some soju. All very good. I definitely recommend coming here for authentic Korean food!! :) I will be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Authentic hole in the wall Korean restaurant that had good traditional dishes at great prices. The restaurant itself is not very big and it is very simply. There's a TV that plays Korean game shows and the feel of the place is like you're eating at Minji's house. Quality of food was fresh but certain dishes were better than others. There have the traditional appetizers - dukbokki, dumplings and pancake. There are a lot of different types of stew, some BBQ meat options and a few noodle dishes. We started off with the seafood pancake. It was on the undercooked side. I like my pancake thin, loaded with seafood and crispy. This was thick, not a lot of seafood and very doughy/'raw' in the middle. We also ordered a bowl of JaJungMyun. There is a Korean version of this dish and a Chinese version. Typically the Korean version is sweeter and the sauce is thicker, however, Minji's really adds a lot of cornstarch to their sauce. The mackerel stew I thoroughly enjoyed. It was fishy but I loved it. And there was a lot of tofu as well. It wasn't super spicy but there is a kick to it. Very good and highly recommend if you don't mind fish.

Yelp
I have been wanting to try this place for awhile. I was disappointed with the food. The Spicy Rice Cake was flavorful and delicious. However, the Soft Tofu Stew was a small container (pint) of soup for nearly $20 that was way too oily. The Spicy Squid Over Rice was flavorful, but filled with oil. The Pickled Radish was the only decent side dish. The other side dishes were tasteless.

Yelp
3.5 Stars. I rounded up to 4 stars because you can't beat the price. This is definitely a hole in the wall and reminded me of restaurants in Korea-town, New York, NY. It's set back in a plaza with their name in Korean. When we walked in, it was pretty packed for 8 pm on a Saturday evening. We were seated right away. They provided us cold water from a tumbler and styrofoam cups. Also, the temperature inside was probably 90 degrees, it was actually cooler outside when we left. We ordered steamed dumplings to start. The dumplings took 15 minutes to come out. Once it came out, it was delicious. They provided complimentary banchan which included steamed bean sprouts, fish cakes, kimchi, and yellow pickled daikon. For my main entree, I ordered the bulgogi over rice which was $10.99 and a good size. It came with some lettuce. The portions were big; however, the meat was on the bland side. I asked for their Korean sauce that they use on bibimbap, that made it better. My husband ordered the spicy squid over rice, that was amazing and flavorful, I should've ordered that. Service-3.5 stars Food-3.5 stars Price-4 stars Ambiance-3 stars I loved their chalkboard artwork. It's not a fancy spot but it's an affordable spot for good Korean food.

Yelp
Very authentic! We lived I. Seoul for 3 years and I have to say the food, decide (down to three utensils and dish ware) brought me back to that time! I definitely recommend Minji's Cafe!!
google avatar

Alexi Y.

Yelp
Stopped by to enjoy some lunch before heading home. As I walked in, I could feel the authenticity of the cafe. A small TV upfront was showing Korean shows. I ordered the seafood soup. It was spicy but I enjoyed it.

Yelp
Above average experience. Way better than Namu! Location: not the most convenient location to find. It's one of those bodega that need some effort to discover but totally worth the time. We wanted some typical Korean home food. So we found this place. Also it was a recommended spot at some Chinese social media platform. Place is decently sized, if I remember correctly, it has six tables. One table holds four people. Place is very quite. We have visited two times already. Both time we go, there weren't many customers ( I blame the location) but the food always brings surprise and satisfaction. We have tried: Fried squid: not good, very doughy Fried chicken: very nicely fried, sweet and sour and spicy sauce, almost like spicy tomato jam, very additive ( order both times) recommend!!! Noddle with black soy bean paste: average, a little blend for me. Cold noodle: Amazing!!!!! Very refreshing, good portion for one person, comes with pickled veggies. Delicious!!! Love love love Bibimbap with hot stone pot: fresh ingredients, my friend liked it a lot, but he said hot sauce is too liquidy, but it's wasn't a big issue. Seafood pancake: so crispy, so good. It is also a good portion too. We had take some home lol Decoration: adorable chalk art surround whole dining area. Super artsy and cute. Love drunk pikachu lol. Most importantly this place is very homey and great for comfort meal after a raining day. Definitely deserve more customers. Good luck to them and hope I would visit again. Thanks

Yelp
This is the great value korean place at our neighbourhood, so we will just swingby to have our dinner at affordable price compare to other korean restaurants. As usual we ordered seafood pancake, they make it thicker crispy at the edge. Which is suit our taste bud, and portion is good too. Just we wish there is more seafood added in . My usual order on the seafood tofu soup, that is my favorite and must order for any korean restaurants. They made slightly oily but the spicy level is just great. Very authentic i assume. The pork over rice is slightly sweet with the sauce. We are not big fans of heavy sauce, it would be great if the sauce is served on the side. Might not order this again. Next we would try their hot pot. Maybe winter when the weather is slightly cooler.
google avatar

Krizia L.

Yelp
Personally I thought the place was just okay. I like that this was a small hole in the wall and definitely authentic. It's almost like you walked into a local Korean spot. They even play Korean shows on tv. Plus you know it's authentic if you walk in and the locals of the country are the majority sitting in the restaurant. Came here on a Friday and it wasn't bad. I am definitely a meat and rice girl so I went with the bulgogi over rice with veggies at a price of about $8. Not bad. I didn't think that this place was super cheap tho. Just normal for a hole in the wall prices. Bulgogi taste was okay. Disappointed it wasn't much tastier and was more on the bland side. Their portions I say are huge. I was a fan of the steamed dumplings. Although super watery, they were very tasty. Service was nice and polite. Our server was friendly and checked on our table couple of times. Location wise this place is in the same plaza as Izziban and has lots of free parking.
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered soondoobu , jjajangmyun for to go, and it was super small amount. You get like 3oz of tofu, tasted like ramen powder. Probably they use sesame ramen by ottogi.... Such a Shame.. not a legit Kfood place. Folks. Just get a instant ramen and add some tofu. That will be better deal. Jjajangmyun.. I am sure they use ready to eat instant pack as well.
google avatar

John M.

Yelp
Nothing good here! I have ate over 30 Korean restaurants in Jersey and Florida but this place totally different Korean, I would never recommend.

Amber L.

Yelp
Got turned away because they didn't want to cook even though all I wanted was take out giving the excuse that they were too busy!! Don't bother coming here.!!

Yelp
Honest, authentic, hole-in-the-wall Korean food joint. This is THE place to take care of any of your cravings in South Florida. Their food tastes fresh and homemade without any traces of msg, comparable to my mom's or my own cooking. They have a variety of everything from dukbokki, jajangmyun, soondae, jjampong, donkatsu, gamjatang, soondubu, dwenjang chigae, and kimchi chigae. Refer to my crude pics of the menu. If you like Korean food you'll love this place, especially considering the other options. I'd rather drive 40 miles to Minji's than be offered a free $100 meal at any restaurant in Miami. Minji passes Mike's Asian restaurant test. If you walk in and you don't see any Asians, turn around and RUN. They had 100% Korean diners throughout the night. (This is not true for Gabose) They're open Mon-Sat 12pm-10pm.

Regan M.

Yelp
Authentic korean food, fast and simple. This place is my go-to for kimchi jjigae (kimchi stew)

Yelp
I was in the area and craving kimchi, so I popped it. The Bulgogi rice dish was delicious and so were the side dishes.

Yelp
Delicious and cheap Korean food! I love this little hole in the wall. On the TV was some random Korean show featuring an all too skinny girl doing some weird contortionist things. There are only a few tables, but it wasn't crowded when we got here around 2 pm on a Saturday. First off, they served us bottled water. This was unusual, but a pleasant surprise. The waitress was a bit indifferent but did everything she needed to. The menu has many of the Korean basics (although no stone pot). We ordered the Korean fried chicken (I love that Kevin C referred to this as KFC), tofu soup, and grilled eel served with egg. The chicken lived up to my expectations. Crispy outside, juicy meat, smothered in a tangy but sweet sauce. My seafood tofu soup was the right spice and had a good amount of seafood meat. My bf's grilled eel was cooked and marinated nicely. For the value, this place is definitely worth it. Made me feel like I went over to a Korean friend's place and their mom cooked me an authentic and fab meal.

Yelp
No frills no fancy plating or fancy decor. This means no fancy prices either. It's just really good simple authentic Korean food. Bonus - there were some menu items I hadn't see at other restaurants (for ex the soybean paste soup which is different from the tofu soup). My preference is still the tofu soup but I'm always happy when I can try new things. I would come back to explore the menu some more for sure.

Yelp
Minji's Cafe is definitely a hole in the wall restaurant! The food was delicious and came out pretty quickly. The dumplings were fresh and not too greasy. The rice cakes were chewy and were way better than Sushi Yoshee in Boca Raton and a korean fried chicken place in Orlando. The spicy pork on rice was delicious, but the Bulgogi wasn't as flavorful. However, the person attending us was sweet and the atmosphere of the place definitely gave off a traditional Korean house-like setting. Instagram: @nostalgicnibbles

Yelp
Definitely ñrecommend this restaurant it's a hole in the wall, but you will leave happy.

Yelp
Every thing great. Good food. Cute place good service Fair price. I will be back again for sure.

Yelp
There's not a lot of selection for Korean here but I had been wanting to try this place out for a while! It's not close to me, and the sign is really inconspicuous for some reason, but I saw the Korean name and that's how I found it haha I ordered the soybean tofu soup and my omma got the regular bibimbap. I was super disappointed they didn't have Kongguksu, which is my favorite Korean dish, but alas, beggars can't be choosers! The dishes were all really great and portioned right. Their bibimbap had great ingredients, not just normal stuff like broccoli or carrots, but real Asian ingredients. The banchan though! definitely did not disappoint!! The prices were about equal to what I paid back in ATL and we were definitely stuffed. the owner was super nice and really enjoyed our meal :)

Yelp
This place was a nice surprise. Came here based on yelp reviews and my bf was craving dolsot. The restaurant was very clean and the chalk art on the walls was impressive. We had steamed dumplings which were very good and dolsot (hot pot) with spicy pork. The dolsot was legit and still sizzling when it came to the table. The rice got nice and crispy on the bottom of the bowl which I love. All in all it's a cute little strip mall restaurant with excellent Korean food. Will probably try the ramen next time.

N. L.

Yelp
Love the place, very authentic and the food was fantastic. My daughter and I stopped by and met the family. Never disappointed with the great service and the flavorful dishes, thank goodness is near my office as we made it our favorite place.
google avatar

Yelp
I had the spicy ramen...OMG so delicious! Definitely recommend. Also, I came before 5 and they were not closed like another review had stated.
google avatar

Mandy H.

Yelp
Excellent customer service. It's a small restaurant that look like family own. I love their home cook meal that does not contains too much MSG. My favor is the Gabee/Beef Steak. I do think they made the best one of S. FL. You don't go home dying with thirst.
google avatar

Krys P.

Yelp
I love how authentic this place feels - Korean tv shows, water pitcher, bunch of utensils at the table, totally feel like you are in Korean town in California, if not actually in Korea itself. The dishes are a good value, if not the best quality, and taste so home-cooked, so it's always a satisfying meal whenever we go. They have Korean fried chicken before it pops up everywhere on menus.
google avatar

Kevin C.

Yelp
Walked in on the night of Friday the 13th, 8:30PM As we enter, we saw a family of 5 sitting around watching a Korean TV show. They just looked us with questionable faces, like, "why are you here?" That made me wonder if they are closed for the night, so I double checked the sign on the door., 10AM-10PM. Still open. As I stood around in the front deciding if we should leave or not, one of the girl came over with the menu and told us to sit anywhere we want. Well it was raining pretty hard outside and no other customers, i guess they weren't expecting anyone at all. So we sat down, feel a bit uneasy and unwelcome. While look over the menu, the girl brought over 2 bottled water. Not tap water in a glass! That's a plus. Finally. we ordered Korean Fried Chicken Wings, Silk Tofu Soup, and Stir Fried Pork over rice. The KFC Wings are simply amazing! The best I've ever tasted. It was very juicy and crispy. It's a nice, airy crisp that you can not find with any American or Chinese restaurants. It does not leave you feeling all greasy afterwards. Also the sauce has just the right amount of salty/sweet/spicy flavor that made it sooo perfect!! The pork was great, same, if not better than the other Korean restaurants in S FL. Tofu soup is comparable to other Korean restaurants, but i personally find it lacking when compared to Myunga's. Most of the main dishes are $8 and comes in pretty large portion, you will not leave hungry! I already planning to go back again and getting more KFC Wings and try the fried chicken gizzards next!

Yelp
Have you ever been excited to try a place based on Yelp reviews and been utterly disappointed? I had that feeling two weekends ago when I took my boy and wifey to this Korean place. From the existing reviews, I was ready for the less than inviting decor. What I wasn't ready for was the indifferent and lazy service combined with blatant false advertising. Let's start with the advertising in a menu. When you put pictures in your menu, you are putting expectations in your customers head about what they are going to get. It is not unreasonable for a customer to expect the amount of food portrayed in the menu to be the amount they receive. In other words, the food on your plate should look like the food in the pictures! Wow, were we disappointed when the Galbi we ordered came out. Please see the picture I posted and compare to the picture in the menu. The menu shows strips and strips of Galbi. We received only one strip. ONE measly strip, with three sad bones. When got up to address this with the waitress, she gave me a shrug. When i said it didn't match the menu, I got another shrug. We paid 17.99$ for this ONE strip of Galbi. Sure, when you go to Myung ga in Weston, you are paying 23$ for Galbi, BUT YOU ARE GETTING 3X AS MUCH MEAT. And yes, I had to get up to talk to the waitress, because she did not once come to check on us. And my wife had to get up multiple times get us more side dishes. And, NO, this was not a buffet! They simply do not care about serving you here. Please also see the picture I posted of the two mussels. There were three in the tofu soup we ordered. The two mussels pictured never opened, meaning it was BAD SEAFOOD. I can't believe we ate most of the soup before we noticed they put bad seafood in our soup. Bottom line: This place is a rip-off/overpriced; they don't care about their customers; AND their menu is a LIE. I am sorry this review turned out to be a rant. I purposely waited over a week to write this review so I could write it with a calm head, but this place upset me so much I am still peeved about it all this time later.

Yelp
Absolutely the best Banchan I've had in South Florida, and the prices can't be beat. My mother had the Katsu and it was breaded thin and crisp while the pork was moist. I had the Soft Tofu and Seafood Stew and it was plentiful with muscles and squid as well as tofu and veggies. I'll be eating here again as soon as possible. Highly recommend for first-timers with Korean cuisine as the waitress doesn't mind explaining menu items at all. Two full meals (and full bellies) total cost: 21.43

Yelp
Bottom Line: The hostess was nice, main dishes were yummy, prices are okay, but restaurant is very dirty. Granted, I've only been to Korea twice, but this was not exactly the experience we were hoping for. I will not be eating here again. We stopped by on a weekday evening as we were in the area and had a craving for Korean food. There was no wait, and if you're eating in, you can seat yourselves and the hostess will bring you your menus. - The prices were okay, but for the types of foods they offer, mostly comfort foods, or things you'd find on a food truck in my opinion, I wouldn't say it was particularly cheap. -The dishes we ordered were the fried omelette and pork katsu. Yummy but not particularly awe inspiring and both looked like something a person could make at home. We also had mochi ice cream for dessert. It was very obvious it was incredibly old as the soft rice shell on the outside crumbled instead of having its usual a chewy texture. - My biggest and primary issue with this restaurant is how dirty it is. I made the mistake of going to the restroom before eating and couldn't help but notice all of the grime and filth on the floor and along the baseboards from the eating area all the way through the hallway to the bathroom. There was an oscillating fan in the bathroom which was unsettling because it's really just blowing all of the bacteria from other people onto you while you're in there. When I sat down I noticed my shoes were making a scraping noise as they rubbed against the dirtiness of the floor. It was all I could think about while we were eating and it really bothered me.
