Seattle’s New Restaurant Openings - Seattle - The Infatuation

"This new Indian restaurant that took over the old Barolo space on 12th serves classics like lamb biryani, chicken korma, and paneer bhurji. But as their name suggests, there are tons of cocktails here too, like mint martinis (of course), french 75s, and cosmopolitans. You can also find a good amount of non-alcoholic options." - kayla sager riley, gabe guarente, aimee rizzo

We dined here for dinner while visiting Seattle. The food was good. Our chicken tikka dish was good and the paneer was decent. The naan was good too. My daughter enjoyed her mango lassi drink. Only complaint is the restaurant was so warm. They need to turn up the A/C! We took an Uber to the restaurant but if you drive yourself parking can be a challenge in the area.

Dining at Mint & Martini was delightful. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming. Our server was very attentive and the owner even stopped by to check on us, which was a great touch! Our starters Chilli garlic paneer & Crispy chilli baby corn was cooked to perfection. Entrées - Paneer tikka masala and M&M special methi malai paneer was an explosion of flavors. Tables were spaced nicely, providing enough privacy. It was great that they had high chairs and were so accommodating for kids. Will definitely come back.. Hungry.. For more.!

Absolutely loved this place! Absolutely loved the paneer chilli — bursting with flavor- hands down the best I’ve had in the Seattle area. The flavors were bold, perfectly balanced, and incredibly satisfying. I’ve never had paneer chilli this good before! We also tried the Paneer Tikka Masala, and it was equally delicious — rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. To top it all off, the Brownie with Ice Cream was the perfect sweet ending — a real cherry on top of an already fantastic meal. Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re craving flavorful, high-quality Indian food. Can’t wait to come back!

We had a lot of different things at this place, but nothing really was that amazing - everything that we had was around average Starting with appetizers, I had some of the chili baby corn, palak patta chaat, gol gappa shots, and paneer duo delight Of these, I think I liked the baby corn the best. While it was harder than you would expect, the sweet chili sauce had a ton of flavor in both directions The chaat was fine - pakoras were not good, but the dahi and green chutney made things a bit better The paneer duo delight had a nice spice to it, but the paneer was also harder than I would like the pani puri - ie: gol gappa shots - was immensely bland. there was no spice at all, or any flavor to the water. I think they took the water literally here, because that's pretty much what the liquid tasted like As far as main courses, we shared the butter chicken, and tandoori chicken tikka, along with a bread basket Note that a bread basket comes with 9 total pieces - which is a lot. This includes 3 butter naan's, 3 bullet naan's, and 3 garlic naans. The naan itself was fine - soft enough, but I honestly couldn't tell the difference between the garlic and butter naan's. There just wasn't much garlic flavor at all on the garlic naan. The bullet naan did have some points of being spicy at least The butter chicken was quite bland. There was no sense of depth in flavor from sauce, and it just tasted like very basic tomatoes with too much cream. Nowhere close to enough spices were put in the dish. The tandoori chicken was probably my favorite - it had a deep red color, and actually had some flavor to the outside - it seemed to have been marinated and cooked well. Another nice thing was in both - the chicken was very juicy. The price is quite expensive. It came out to $50 per person for the overall meal, for this food and a drink. None of the individual curries are too outrageous, but some of the appetizer prices are a bit questionable. The portion size with the curry + rice is decent enough though, I wouldn't recommend ordering extra naan if you come here Overall, it's not bad, but there are so many other flavorful spots in this area of Capitol Hill that you really shouldn't be stopping by this place. 6/10

Absolutely loved our experience at Mint and Martini! The ambience is chic yet cozy, and the service was warm and attentive throughout. The team’s hospitality made us feel truly welcome. Most importantly, the food was phenomenal—authentic Indian flavors with a refined touch. You can tell they deeply understand the cuisine. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved this place! It has a fresh, modern vibe—definitely not your typical Indian restaurant. The bar is fantastic with a great selection of drinks and delicious bar snacks. Highly recommend trying their Indo-Chinese dishes—the chilli paneer and chilli chicken are standout favorites. Will definitely be coming back!

Google
Delicious drinks & food, good atmosphere. Spicy is actually spicy! 3 is a good medium, 4 & 5 is real spicy, 1-2 is moderate and mild. Great Naan and staff were also very nice and helpful!! They have happy hour too so it'll be a good place to chill

Yelp
We went here at the end of July, 2025. The food was mediocre. I came because I saw their menu offered "Hyderabadi Dum Biryani". It wasn't biryani. The rice had clearly been cooked independently of the sauce and toppings. They didn't even bother to stir it all together. You expect a deep flavor in biryani from a slow cook time. This didn't have it. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't biryani and certainly not Hyderabadi biryani. At $19 an order, there's much better other places in town. The service was poor. Our waiter dropped off our food and didn't really come back until our meal was finished while we waited for more water. It's possible the other food is good, but I felt lied to by the menu. I ordered one thing and got something else. I don't really trust the business.

Yelp
Had a great time at this restaurant! Our waiter Arjun was super attentive and really made us feel welcome. We ordered a bunch of different dishes and everything was delicious. Not one miss. The chili chicken and hakka noodles stood out, in particular

Yelp
Had an amazing dinner here! Our server, Arjun, was incredibly friendly and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. We tried a variety of dishes and every single one hit the mark. The lamb curry and garlic naan were especially memorable--packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. Would definitely come back!

Yelp
A Must-Visit Spot for Indian Vegetarian Cuisine in Seattle! We had an amazing dining experience at Mint and Martini with our family, and it absolutely deserves five stars! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance struck the perfect balance of modern chic and warm hospitality. The interior is stylish and vibrant, yet cozy enough to feel family-friendly--ideal for both casual meals and special evenings out. We ordered a selection of vegetarian dishes, including the Paneer Biryani, Paneer Tikka Masala, and Malai Kofta, paired with their Naan Basket--and every single item was exceptional. The flavors were authentic, rich, and incredibly satisfying. You could tell the kitchen takes great pride in crafting well-balanced and beautifully presented dishes. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made excellent menu recommendations, which turned out to be spot on. The Mango Lassi was a big hit with our kids--they literally sipped it down to the last drop! To top it all off, the owner personally came by our table to check on our experience, which added a thoughtful, personal touch that really stood out.

Yelp
This new Indian restaurant (open only 5-days as of the end of May-2025) has tasty food and a friendly staff. Located where Bario used to be, the interior space is inviting, even if parking in the neighborhood can be a challenge. We got the kurkuri bhindi (fried okra) -- it was good, though I would have preferred Bhindi Masala, had they had it. The chicken tikka tandoori was tasty with high-quality chicken and oh-so tender. The vegetable samosas were pretty standard and quite good, though I wish they'd come with more tamarind sauce (these kinds of kinks are expected in early days). And we got an order of plain nan. I was hoping for some basmati rice (particularly with the chicken tikka), but turns out that's not part of that dish. Next time, I'll order rice separately. It's a new restaurant, and I recommend it. I'll note that the reviewer who gave them one-star was rather unkind for restaurant newly opened - rather than a bad review, it might have been more appropriate to raise the issue with the manager and get it resolved. I found the staff very responsive and helpful.

Yelp
New Indian place in Capitol Hill. Had lunch and since it just opened there weren't many other people. It's beautiful inside and so spacious! Great place for groups. I can imagine it being really busy at night once word gets out about this place. We lucked out with street parking right on 12th but there's also a public lot not far away too. Service was super attentive and they were great helping us with any questions. Items are on the pricier side but this is a really nice place. I just went with a friend and we had the Bread Basket, it's pretty big so we both only had a couple of pieces of naan and took home a stack. Naan is solid. Palaak Paneer, very good. Tandoori Chicken, smaller portion but excellent Hakka noodles with chicken, very good. And the Kurkuri Bhindi, deep fried okra. I'm not an okra fan but this was tasty. A lot of batter but that's what made it so good! Every dish was delicious. Dishes were spicy, I couldn't figure out which ones but even for someone who is not very spice tolerant I was able to handle it. We didn't say anything about spice level when we ordered so if you don't like spicy mention it when you order. We took home a lot of leftovers that will last me several days! Looking forward to going back.

Yelp
I had a delicious virgin pina colada and great service! My server helped me navigate the mocktail menu and she made the experience great! Really cute atmosphere and decor as well!

Yelp
Delicious food. I ordered the tandoori chicken and shared naan with friends. I took home leftovers. Generous servings. Food was quick and hot. Waitperson was friendly and helpful.

Yelp
Ordered takeout and it was phenomenal! So happy to have this on the hill, the drinks looked good too and staff seemed very friendly - excited to dine in. The Chili Chicken and Tikki Masala were delicious and medium spice was perfect, complimented well with the Haka Noodles. The only critique I would have is a little more rice but they don't charge for it so can't complain. Highly recommend!

Yelp
The food was amazing! Someone recommended this new restaurant and we want to try for a reunion. Loved it!! Def recommend!!

Yelp
The martinis at this establishment are... awful! They ran out of vermouth for our dirty martinis, the melon martini was SO SWEET I could have died. All the martinis were rough to say the least. Also they don't know how to make Negronis? That was odd. It came as some sort of watered down whiskey(?) situation? Anywho, love of work to do in the bar. Didn't even bother getting food.
