The Best Restaurants In Dumbo and Brooklyn Heights - New York - The Infatuation

"A few standout dishes kick things up a notch at Mint Heights, a casual Indian spot with easy weeknight dinner vibes and welcoming front windows. Start with an order of crispy okra—it comes in a huge pile and gets a salty, tangy punch from lemon juice and chaat masala. We also love the dahi vada, especially when it’s hot out. Mains here are pretty good across the board, but the one thing you absolutely must get is the crab curry, smothered in a velvety coconut-based sauce laced with mustard seeds, red chilies, and curry leaves. They also have a second location in Fort Greene." - Willa Moore, Bryan Kim, Carina Finn Koeppicus, Hannah Albertine

Mint Heights - Review - Brooklyn Heights - New York - The Infatuation

"At first glance, Mint Heights might seem like your garden variety casual Indian spot, but a few standout menu items take this place up a notch. Start with an order of crispy okra, which is one of our favorite okra dishes in Brooklyn. It comes in a huge pile and gets a salty, tangy kick from lemon juice and chaat masala. We also love the dahi vada, especially when it’s hot out. Mains here are pretty good across the board, but the one thing you absolutely must get is the crab curry. Imagine a deconstructed crab cake smothered in a velvety coconut-based sauce laced with mustard seeds, red chilies, and curry leaves. We’ve never had anything like it." - Carina Finn

We stopped by Mint Heights for dinner the other night and honestly the food was amazing! The Chicken Vindaloo was the perfect balance of spicy and tangy. The chicken was tender and well marinated. We also got saag paneer, one of their recommended favorites. It was also really good. The paneer was soft and fresh! Also, the garlic naan was my favorite! Freshly baked, with lots of garlic and butter. The staff were friendly and welcoming. If you’re into Indian food, I’d definitely recommend checking this spot out. I’ll be going back soon to try more dishes for sure.

If there is any option that I can rate 0/10 I would do that. Food is disgusting. World will definitely loose respect towards Indian Food if this is served. This is not at the authentic Indian Food. We ordered cauliflower roast in starters, lamb biryani, vegetable biryani, shrimp variety. Every thing is disgusting. We just ate it as we paid and gave some respect towards food not to waste it. Biryani felt like rice dipped in turmeric water. Cauliflower wasn't boiled to the mark and quality is so pathetic. Shrimp variety is worst. I mean why to add loads and loads of Okra without proper taste to it. Just for some decoration they used okra. Food looks good only on camera but not to eat. Sorry to say this.. but you should really work on improving quality and enhancing the taste of Indian cuisine when you really focused on serving it. Quantity! LOL that's like a sauce cup. Please change menu or chefs. Service is okay but they were sweating all over the restuarant and serving. I totally appreciate that but little hygiene is needed. Restrooms are not up to the mark and there were marks all over the wall. The lady in the front desk is serving pops in glass container by pouring them from pop cans. Is it really needed ? Waste of time. Instead they can serve as it is and concentrate on something as there will be lot of work I guess. I think they should reschedule their work and allot work equally accordingly. Unfortunately there were no spoons served and only fork and knife were placed. Being in New York your restuarant should be up to the mark. I hope whoever reading this in management should take it positively and work on things that they are lacking. Finally, the service by a lady with short stature and spectacles was The best. She worked well and Loved her service with great smile even though food was worst. All the above stars are just for her.

This is a Bangladeshi-owned restaurant. Chicken biryani was great! It's one of my two favorite restaurants to go to in downtown Brooklyn. It makes me feel as if I am in Noakhali, Bangladesh.

Google
I dined-in at 5pm on a Saturday. A wonderful chicken Korma with garlic Naan. The chicken was tender, the sauce flavoursome and the naan was soft. They allow you to bring your own wine. A beautiful spot.

Google
We enjoyed it! The Chicken Saag and the channa masala both had the perfect spice level. We got vegetable samosas too but I forgot to get a picture lol. They don’t have outdoor seating but they had the doors open since the weather was nice and honestly! To me, that’s better than the patio seating. Friendly service and the food came out quick! We will definitely be back!

Generally I'm not the biggest fan of spicy foods which is why i stay clear of south asian cuisine or korean cuisine. But one of my good friends at college took me to this place for dinner to try out some authentic Indian cuisine. My skepticism quickly faded away as soon as the host welcomed us into the restaurant. We were 3 people and they quickly seated us. My friend recommended me to try butter chicken while he got chicken vindaloo and other one got a vegetarian dish called saag paneer and to go along with them some classic garlic naan 🫓. We barely waited for about 10 minutes before our order was ready. But before our order even came we were surprised with their complimentary dish known as papadarm( i hope I'm pronouncing that right) with mint and tamarind chutney. They were honestly really good for something that is supposed to be a welcome snack. Then our food came and when i tell u that butter chicken is easily one of if not the best chicken dish I have ever put in my mouth u better believe it and i am a hard guy to please so that's saying something. Then i also tried my friend's vindaloo which was a little bit spicy but still extremely delicious and I can't believe i am saying this the vegetarian dish was the MVP u know they know what they doing. Garlic naan was also extremely flavorful. I don't think i ever tried any sort of bread that is this flavourful without adding anything additional other than garlic that is. And also the servers were extremely hospitable. Came to check up on us from time to time and refill our water from time to time. Overall i left the place with nothing but good things to say about it. The atmosphere was also really great. Also for any lovey dovey couple this is a great romantic spot as well. The lighting of the restaurant is also great as well. Overall i would highly recommend anyone curious and want to try authentic indian food in NYC this is a great spot to start out with. After this spot i became a regular indian cuisine lover trying different spots and went back to it a couple times and it still is one of the best spots in NYC for indian cuisine. Highly recommend and it's very close to Brooklyn bridge so if u are out and about and want to try some flavor food at launch time or dinner this seems like a no brainer.

Came here for family dinner. They accommodated our large group and had great service. The mango lassi and mojitos were excellent. We got different biryanis, butter chicken and the lamb vindaloo. All the items were great. Especially the garlic naan we got to accompany the mains.

Google
I think it's the least tasty Indian restaurant I have ever tasted. Everything was disappointing. Quantity is really too less compared to the price but anyway that can be easily left as it won't taste good. Paneer tikka masala was so sweet. Malai kofta spice does not blend, it just tastes like some powder. It's not even worth discussing biryani. Paneer is so raw and has no taste. The best item that gave a lot of relaxation in this restaurant is water, yes, water.

Yelp
We were in Brooklyn one evening and were craving Biryani and found this place open till late. Placed an order online and picked up the food with no hassle. Staff were friendly. Place looked decent. Biryani was delicious. Will keep this place in mind when around.

Yelp
We ordered for delivery on Grubhub and there was a 5 dollars off 50+ order. I always order more than 50 dollars so that wasn't a problem. We really liked the chicken samosas. I would get again. The travel didn't do the cauliflower Manchurian any good as it lost all its crispiness. No point in taking in all the extra calories of fried food when it loses its crunch. I really liked the Chana saag. The chicken tikka was a bit creamier and sweeter than I'm used to so would probably get a different dish next time. The aloo gobi tasted like it was frozen and defrosted for us as the cauliflower was very soft and had a frozen aftertaste. Overall a 3.5 take out experience. Happy we can cross it off our list of food in the neighborhood but not running to order from here again.
google avatar

Nataliya K.

Yelp
I took one star away because of the girl who took our order , with such a bad attitude and very unattentive The food was good, Tikka Masala was melted in my mouth. The chicken tikka over salad was grilled perfectly , very juicy .

Juanandres C.

Yelp
Food was amazing. Service was very kind and consistent. It's a very subtle, simple environment which makes the dining experience very enjoyable.
google avatar

Yelp
Fast service and tasty food! I highly recommend getting the mango lassi if you're up for a sweet drink. The chicken makhani and tikka had wonderful flavors, but the chicken in the makhani was way less tender than that in the tikka for some reason...

Yelp
Stumbled by on Sunday evening ISO of dinner. Our group of 3 was seated immediately, and we were brought lentil crackers and chutney. We ordered the saag paneer, chicken makhani, chicken korma, and some plain naan. Staff was friendly and quick with our orders, and food came out equally as fast. Saag was good with nice portions of paneer. The curries themselves were good, quite tailored to American taste buds, but a bit lacking in the chicken department (about one piece per person). However, it was a reasonable price and we left with our tummies full, filled w naan and rice. Well-located spot in Brooklyn to curb that Indian food craving.

Yelp
The food here is good! However, the service is kind of all over the place and feels like a mess. I've been here twice and they can take a very long time to seat you and to serve you. Also, they tend to bring the food out one at a time in very long increments so you cannot have a good meal with everything on the table at once. One time they even brought the rice out first and then many minutes went by before an actual curry dish came out. Another time the naan came out first and because we were so hungry we ate it without any other dishes. For this reason I give this place a 3 stars. It is a shame because the food is good and they even have yummy deserts. But when going out to eat, especially Indian food, you would like all the curries and dishes on the table along with rice and naan to enjoy it as a complete meal.

Yelp
I'm so excited to write this review!! We've been in the neighborhood for a couple of years now and glad to say we finally found our go-to spot for Indian. No shade to any other local spots but ever since we left our old neighborhood on UES (with Moti Mahal) we have sorely missed having Indian that consistently hits in the neighborhood. Everything within our typical order is good, but special shoutout to the Saag Paneer, which for whatever reason feels not quite right at some places. The Eggplant Bharatha is also SO freaking tasty, and is now part of the standard order.

Yelp
Really good Indian lunch at this spot on Henry. It's been around a while and I had to try it! Pretty good butter chicken (chicken a little dry) and the saag paneer was delicious! Comes with a hefty bowl of fluffy rice and really liked the garlic roti. Heard their lunch special is a great deal and would totally come try that next.

Yelp
The restaurant was slightly off the tourist truck, but it was busy with people. The service is friendly but very slow compared to New York's ways of service. The place is simple inside, with nothing to brag about, but the food explodes with flavors. I ordered Vindaloo, which is a lamb dish, and it is so spicy and garlic naan break. The dish was delicious, and eat every bit of it. The sauce was so good i used naan to finish it off. I want to return and order more, but this time, i will ask for the authentic level of spice.
google avatar

Yelp
Friendly and helpful service. Food was good but a bit sweeter than I am used to. We had Tikki Masala, Korma, and a lamb dish. Comfortable seats after a long day walking.

Yelp
My friends and I decided to check out Mint Heights at 6pm on a Friday. The restaurant doesn't seat too many parties (maybe ~10?), and it was half full when we got there. It's a casual setting with a warm, familial ambiance, though the staff are dressed formally. When we left at 7:20, the restaurant was fully packed. I was pretty hungry and forgot to take pictures, but we got butter chicken ($16), chicken saagwala ($16), malabar salmon ($18), and 1 order of plain naan ($4) and 1 order of garlic naan ($5). Rice is served communally. The curries of all the dishes had excellent flavor, and everyone really enjoyed their food. The naan was fluff, moist, and cooked without charring. The two things I did not care for about my saag was that there were 2 cardamom pods, and the portion size was small for the price. There were about 4 cubes of chicken in the dish (cooked pretty well), meaning I could have finished it in 4 bites. Service was fantastic! Our waters never went past half empty, there were constant check-backs, and plates were brought and cleared efficiently. The waitstaff were also extremely kind and hospitable. If you are in the area, I would recommend checking out Mint Heights!

Yelp
I found the food to be very good. I had the chicken vindaloo and I found it very tasty, just enough spice. The staff was nice. The portions were just right. Enjoyable experience. My wife and I will be back!

Yelp
I've been wanting to check this Indian restaurant out since few people have recommended it since its opening. Located in Brooklyn Heights, their grand opening offered 50% off menu if you dine in and lunch special for an affordable price. I've been meaning to stop by and dine in during lunch time for the 50% deal. I've heard nothing but great things about the food as well from friends. However, my recent visit was a bit too late. Apparently they had also recently changed ownership. When I dined in, they did not offer the 50% off regular menu and the waitress told me there is no lunch specials for dine-in. Honestly, this made no sense to me because it doesn't really entice people to dine in when they can just get takeout for a much better price during lunch hours. We decided to stay and dine in anyways since we were already there. Waitress was busy wiping down the menus when we arrived. It was lunch hour rush but the whole time we dine there, no other customers came in for dining or takeout/delivery. Which I can kinda see why now -- with the pricing and lack of incentive for dining in. That really bothered me. Anyways, we ordered the chicken and lamb vindaloo and garlic naan. Food came fast in less than 10 mins, but considering we were the only ones there, it was a decent wait time. The vindaloos came with basmati rice to share. I felt the portion was on the smaller side, especially paying regular lunch/dinner price. But food was good but pretty standard for Indian. Not the best I've had but not the worst either. I probably won't come back for dining in but will order takeout for their lunch specials. Quite a disappointment after being excited to try this spot for a while. I've heard similar experiences after the recent ownership change.

Yelp
I wish I'd remembered to take photos of the incredible food at Mint Heights, but that'll just be another reason to go back! The space is cozy with plenty of seating, and the servers and owners are so warm, friendly, and attentive. We got samosas, yellow dal, butter chicken, naan, and roti, and all were incredible! The owner recommended the cauliflower, so we'll be back again to try that!

Yelp
Great location, right near Dumbo. We stopped in around 2PM on a Saturday and it wasn't busy at all. So, if you are waiting in line by the bay, walk a couple blocks up to Mint Heights. The vibe is very calm and it's a nice place. The food is good, not necessarily memorable, but it is a fair price, very flavorful and filling. The Chicken Chatnar was very creamy. Not spicy at all. The Rogan Josh has a little spice, but nothing crazy. Chicken Samosas were good as well.
google avatar

Katrina W.

Yelp
We came here for dinner and loved it! We did family style and got Cauliflower Manchurian, Saag Paneer, Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan. Flavors were grey and service was good.

Paul D.

Yelp
Fabulous dinner and service... great for home delivery too.. a must for a curry in Brooklyn
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious food. Chicken tikka masala and butter chicken were so good we ordered twice in a week. Lunch special is such a good deal too and the naan is amazzzing.

Yelp
My daughter and I decided to become Yelpers, so we take out or eat in a place we feel has great food. Tonight we decided on Mint Heights on Henry Street for takeout. I go straight for the Chicken Tandoori option. the rice compliment was tasty. my daughter had the Chicken Tikka Masala. Both meals were delicious. My only regret was that we should have probably eaten in. The vibe, decor, and professionalism seemed second to none. We'll be back. As far as Indian food goes, it looks like we will most likely be regulars since we're so close. Great food.

Yelp
While visiting friends in Brooklyn and wandering around Brooklyn Bridge Park, we decided to stop by this small Indian spot. And boy what a great decision! We got the Garlic Naan, Chatnar, Lamb Nihari, Chicken Biryani, and Basmati Rice. Everything here was super fresh and delicious! Naan was soft with great texture, tons of garlic. The chatnar was different from other Indian food I've tried but I loved the spices. Lamb was super tender. I don't remember the name of the last dish but I thought it was interesting - crispy bite and a tad sweet. Highly recommend if you want to grab Indian food around Brooklyn Bridge Park/DUMBO! Yelp
Food was incredibly amazing. The service was excellence, served by a kind auntie. We had cauliflower Manchurian and chicken samosas. Entré was chicken vindaloo and Hyderabad fish. Ambiance was awesome as well, I like the music. We kindly got dessert (Gulab Jamun) on the house as it was my friends special 1st meal after getting engaged. Very good!

Madeline R.

Yelp
The best!!! The service is phenomenal--everyone is incredibly friendly and always quick with great recommendations. They've introduced me to dishes I wouldn't have thought to try, and every one has been a hit. Couldn't recommend it more.
google avatar

Harsha P.

Yelp
I ordered, so I didn't sit down and eat but wanted to try it out since it's nearby my neighborhood. I had the prix fixe me (great deal!) with paneer tikka masala and samosa and regular naan. Unfortunately everything was a little too sweet for my liking. The samosas were decent but nothing too special. I found the naan to also be a little sweet, not sure if it's because I ordered out but the paneer tikka masala was too sweet.
google avatar

Ally R.

Yelp
My favorite Indian - I travel from Manhattan to eat this!! Order any of the classics: samosas, tikka masala, vindaloo (def spicy), chole, garlic/regular naan, basmati rice, mango lassi and dessert. Wish: they had a restaurant in Tribeca/Financial District too! I'd get delivery once a week!
google avatar

Katey G.

Yelp
A short update! I absolutely loved the crab curry from Mint Heights. It wasn't fishy, but full of crab with a great curry flavor. We got it along with rice and a shaved fried okra appetizer- which is super tasty, almost like "okra chips." I'm glad to see that this restaurant has a good amount of people ordering and dining in. We really couldn't ask for a better neighborhood Indian restaurant.
google avatar

Nadine J.

Yelp
Are you ready for the 411? Here we go...I have not been this restaurant in a number of years. I was so excited when my daughter recommended it for dinner and we were able to find it. It was not a disappointment at all. The food was so good and the recommendations made were all on point. The ambience was definitely there with the decor or the place. The staff was friendly as well as attentive. They constantly checked on us and made sure we were pleased with our order. They are also family-friendly as there was a family with their small child there and they helped pick out from the menu what they thought she might like...so cute. Check this out and let me know that you think!
google avatar

Grace S.

Yelp
Depending on what you ordering the dishes can be good or not. Good enough local food for convenience and quality.
google avatar

Yelp
Just updating this review to add some pictures. I generally order takeout and they hit the mark every single time. They're very good about allergens and substitutions which I always appreciate. Get the kale pakoras-- they are so crispy and delicious!

Yelp
Cute neighborhood Indian spot in Brooklyn Heights. The service is extremely warm and friendly. The hostess who was also our waiter apologized profusely to us and others who had to wait for a table and gave solid recommendations for food. In fact, it was a breath of fresh air to have someone opinionated guide us through the menu. Where they really excel are the appetizers and there are some items on their menu that you wouldn't typically see at other Indian restaurants. We had the manchurian cauliflower (a delicious combo of sweet, sour, savory) and crispy okra (it's like eating chips but healthier). The entrees were good too though my lamb was a bit on the tough side. They don't appear to have a liquor license so do not serve alcoholic drinks, but they have a great selection of lassis that will satisfy any thirsty appetite.
google avatar

Sonia Z.

Yelp
Well I have to say that the curry and the veggies were not impressive. The korma was really sweet and lots of random things in there. The lamb was very very tender.
google avatar

Marie S.

Yelp
Mint Heights Prix Fixe - great selection - allows you to "mix and match" one appetizer and one entree - many great menu options to choose from. Plus they include rice, naan, mango chutney, and raita. The prix fixe makes it easy to order, I love not having to request add on items. The quality of the food is excellent- tastes authentic and not oily. Good portion sizes too. Have ordered takeout from here several times, highly consistent and correct items. One of my favorite restaurants in the city.

Yelp
Short review: Solid Northern Indian food. Would recommend the Lamb nihari and Goan salmon. Appetizers were alright. I went to the spot with one other after looking for another Indian place in my area. It's a casual spot and the service was nice. I had a rose lassi which is a bit more uncommon compared to the usual mango (or sweet/salty) and it was tasty. We went with two appetizers, two main dishes (unsure if you have to pay for rice,) and a bread. They served papadum to start out with which was fine. It came with the usual two chutneys most places have (tamarind and mint.) Our advertisers were kukuri bhindi and gobi manchurian. Kukuri bhindi is fried okra and the version here was good though would have maybe preferred a bit more of the besan flour for crunch. Still solid. Our other appetizer, the gobi manchurian, is an Indo-Chinese/Hakka Chinese dish consisting of cauliflower (said gobi) in a sweet and sour sauce. Tasty version with not many complaints outside of perhaps being a bit less spicy but places are either or regarding heat and I still like both. My main dish was the lamb nihari. This is a dish made with lamb or goat usually and they made the traditional version as a lamb shank instead of the chopped up pieces you usually find. This was excellent with a nice large piece of tender lamb and a lot of good spices. I ordered spicy and it had a mild kick but I don't tend to find nihari that hot outside of the distinct Pakistani version (which is made with beef.) They ordered a curry which I believe was the goan salmon as there was coconut and they usually prefer fish. This was also good though I preferred the spices in my dish. Our bread was the kandari naan which is very similar to kashmiri naan found in some other spots (perhaps the same but a different dialect.) The bread was good and not super sweet from the coconut. We didn't order dessert instead going to the nearby location of Le French Tart Deli (outstanding croissants and in this case I got a feuilletine cake which was tasty.) Food here at this unassuming Indian spot is solid. I prefer the more creative food nearby but I don't have many complaints outside of perhaps the price point but it is Brooklyn Heights so it's expected. Will go back. Low 4.

Yelp
outstanding service. we had something to munch on minutes after ordering. appetizers just a few after that. blazing hot fresh samosa and pakoras. what? the chick pea masala was incredible and the Rogan josh lamb wonderful. we are visiting from out of town and can't wait to come back. server Maisha is a gem. don't leave! We had so much delicious food we just ate a dinner next night and relived our dream meal there! Thank you so much.

Stephen W.

Yelp
Really very good indian food. Get the chicken jalousie and the fried okra -- great!! Also great are the inexpensive but large warm out-of-the Oven breads onion or garlic naan is delicious!

Katie D.

Yelp
This place is delicious, quaint, and affordable! ORDER THE RICE PUDDING, it's a must! 1. Food tastes GREAT. We ordered Chicken Korma, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Korma, , Mixed Seafood Curry,Chicken Kebabs, Garlic Naan, Sweet Naan, Mango Lassi, a Mojito, and rice pudding (literally the best I've had in my life)...and everything was top notch!! We enjoyed it ALL! 2. The service was great, Riaz Sukumar really took care of us. Him and his staff were super kind and accommodating. 3. The atmosphere is really quaint and quiet, which I appreciate...no music blasting, and the searing was comfortable and not too crowded

Yelp
The food here was so good. They you off with free crispy bread with two different sauces. We order garlic naan which was delicious. I ordered chicken vindaloo. It was perfect spicy. The portion was perfect. The server was great and friendly. Best of all it was BYOB. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for great Indian food.

Yelp
The staff is so friendly and offer the best recommendations - all hits, not a single miss yet. The food is delicious and worth the wait if you drop in on a busy night.

Margaret G.

Yelp
Service was terrible. Tables came in after us and were served. No lentil bread with chutney to start while we waited. Food was good. Asked for takeout container and they were tossed at us like there was a problem? I won't be back.
google avatar

Yelp
A neighborhood gem! So glad I stumbled here after a day at the park! My friend and I decided to share the fried okra (have never had this before) but will be coming back just for this! I decided to get the paneer tikka (spicy) which was delicious and come with a hefty serving of paneer. The service was great and attentive and made sure our water was never empty. Will be back soon or definitely order in!

Yelp
Get to the Chase: Looked the part but lacked flavor Pros: 1) Delivered on time 2) Food was cooked well (tender, and nothing overcooked) Cons: 1) As an Indian myself, I was really looking forward to this delivery based on prior reviews and photos, but unfortunately everything lacked flavor 2) The only thing which packed a punch was the pickle, but even that was WAY too bitter and overly salted 3) Lamb Rognash, yellow daal and Chicken Chatnar were mild...as if watered down. Lacked heat, complex flavor and anything remotely indian... Anyone knows that if there's a good amount of mixed spices and flavoring, you'll have a hard time washing the smell off your hands after taking a good dip with your naan, but alas after washing my hands it was as if I didn't eat anything. 4) The chicken samosa filling was abysmal. So dry and barely any aloo (potatoes) or mixed flavors (peas, onion etc.) Lamb, garlic naan, chicken chatnar, mixed pickle, yellow daal, rasmalai, and samosa on top of service fee, taxes and delivery fee + tip...you end up with $140 order! Insane and sadly disappointing

Fiore P.

Yelp
Really really good tikka paneer. the cauliflower was also wonderful! Great vibe in the location and nice people!

Yelp
No time was wasted upon arriving at Mint Heights to order and enjoy the food, hence why I have no pictures. Their appetizers were a hit, and I'd go back just to try more of their app offerings. Both appetizers came out piping hot. The Kale Pakora was perfectly light and crispy and the Samosa dough had the perfect texture and a delicious filling. We ordered the Mixed Grill Tandoori as well as the Chicken Makhani which were also very good. The servers were pleasant and helpful and overall this was a great spot for Indian food!

Patrick F.

Yelp
Unfortunately, this was just average. There are bunch of much better Indian places in the area. The bread (we had two kinds) was oddly sweet and partially underbaked. The chicken in my tikka masala was dry, and the other food we had basically tasted like General Tsao. Not even the chutney (which is a nice touch) was any good. Overall, very edible but just so so and not worth what it cost imho.

Jeff F.

Yelp
My very fussy partner is thrilled. I am too. Manchurian cauliflower should be an entree. Food was great. And I love the serving vessels. Vegetarian entrees are just entrees here. Come. Enjoy.
google avatar

Valerie N.

Yelp
I feel so deceived by all the positive reviews. The service great as is the ambiance, but the Indian food isn't good. It tasted a bland and not nearly as fragrant or flavorful as I'm used to Indian food tasting.

Yelp
Love this place! Delicious food, great service, and very reasonable prices. We go frequently and it never disappoints. Great for dinning in and takeout.

Yelp
We were on our way to Ikea in Brooklyn and was absolutely famished. Found this place on Yelp with an amazing lunch menu. My wife and I shared the lamb vindaloo lunch special which came with rice, salad, and nann. Everything was piping hot and the lamb was so flavorful and moise. The nann was very warm and I could tell they took the time to prepare the food fresh. Honestly, the lunch portion is good enough for more than one person. Too bad we didn't have the time to dine in because it's 50% off for lunch special dine in. The waiter was very courteous and if we are ever in the neighborhood again, we will certainly pop back in.

Yelp
tasty dishes i have never tried - crispy shredded okra and a nice mushroom and pea curry. thr best part was the bubbly and joyous hostess/waitress
