Minto Island Growers

Just got back from the fifth annual MIG fest. I love this place- amazing people, amazing food, and a gorgeous GORGEOUS property. The blueberries are out of this world this time of year (mid-June). Thank you again, we'll be back for more tea!

We biked here from Salem on Sunday and it was the perfect trip! We stopped for pizza and fresh fruit/veggies. Lots of veggies for sale to make a salad at home. The pizza was great and all their food looked amazing and fresh (they have salads, milkshakes and ice cream)! They have a large parking lot, tables for eating and a Children’s area for playing. I was expecting a tea factory here, there isn’t, but tea is available by the box to purchase and little fresh tea plants.

My family spends every Friday evening summer through fall at this local farmstand, where the wind sings through the poplars. We’re CSA members and love our Minto family. Whether you need a beer and a pizza or Max’s Booch and a salad - this is your spot. Come by for flowers, food, treats, plant starts, organic produce, u-pick berries, and the best summer’s view in Salem.

I score them so low because of how audaciously high they priced their food you would expect it to be at least good quality. For the same price you can get a pizza 1/3 the size of a SFNY pizza with 1/3 of the flavor. How can you have such tasteless pizza im actually surprised. Milkshakes are good for 7 dollars!

If only I was so lucky as to be able to get into the CSA. It's full up for the prime time of the year. It has been great having this place around to pick up all the fixings for dinner. I am excited to see what they have on a weekly basis. And the food card is always there as a fallback. It's just been tough since coven has really made their hours kind of wonky

They make pizzas, the potato bacon one is really good, they got fresh farm veggies, and baked desserts, and smoothies. Beautiful flowers and a great bike trail. Lots of parking it’s right by the river…

A deliciously unique experience that is worth repeating! Minto Island Growers is a delightful place to view their gardens and see just where your lunch is coming from! And… they make their own pepper flakes!! Their homemade pizza crust is the perfect amount of crusty and chewy and their toppings are amazing!

I really like this place. 4 stars cause it’s SO expensive but worth the experience. You pick peppers and tomatoes etc available - plus plant starts! lots of fresh food they grow on their farm: excellent play area for kids and beer 9/10. Really great place and crew to go as a family and relax and your kids play and explore. Corn hole and live music sometimes.

The setting and ambiance were as beautiful as ever. Rows of flowers run next to the outdoor seating and the sun shade keeps you cool and comfortable. The kale salad had great flavor but could use more dressing and some massaging. The pepperoni pizza was simple and delicious.

Magical! The food is fresh and created meticulously, the produce & flowers are top notch, and the ambiance could not be better. The people are kind, helpful, and friendly. This is the Willamette Valley at its finest.

Thought I would try the food cart at the farm. I didn't have very high expectations. I ordered a medium size Italian pizza, with sausage, red sauce and mozzarella, passed on the onions. Also ordered a strawberry lemonade. The lemonade flavor was ok, but no strawberries in sight. I thought I would get a few strawberries from a farm cart? Pizza was ok with maybe 20 small pieces of sausage. The crust was chewy and not crunchy. Just overall disappointed! Probably won't go back. They did have nice ambiance and view. Service was pretty quick.

Farm grown, hand made, most incredible pizza, garden and playground for kids in the Salem area. The milkshakes were delicious and I was a big fan of their cider and salads. I have yet to come to a farm stand spot that catered to every age with such beautiful views and a garden inspired playground for the children to play while family and friends can chat near. Highly recommend, one of my favorite spots in town and not to mention the staff and owners were so genuine and kind!

We had great food with great atmosphere. Also wonderful veggies. Very nice people!!
