This was super cool (pun totally intended). As you may have figured, everything is made of ice - even the decor and glasses. I had one of their specialty drinks, and it was way too sweet - I'd recommend ordering something off the menu. If you can, bring your own gloves. The gloves they give you are crappy and don't keep your hands warm at all. If we'd had better gloves, we'd have hung out for a lot longer!

Mike Julian

Google
Definitely a cool atmosphere (pun intended) with tons of photo ops, but my Dad and I didn’t spend as much time here as we thought we would. Drinks were pretty expensive, and I personally didn’t enjoy mine, but the bartender was very nice and welcoming. A fun experience if you’re looking for something unique, but maybe more of a quick stop than a long hangout.

Google
Such a fun idea! Being from Pennsylvania, the cold was a welcome reprieve from the 110 Vegas heat. Kassie was helpful picking out packages and made us feel welcome and excited! I got the espresso drink- delish! My sister stayed warm with the boooozy hot chocolate and bartender Hazel was accommodating to her allergies when helping her pick a drink! Decor is bright and eclectic. Definitely recommend for a fun and different bar experience! 10/10

Google
You need to visit an ice bar at least once! You will receive a long, warm coat and thin gloves to borrow for the experience. There is no food. Kids can get a non alcoholic drink. The decor is a bit kitschy and all covered in ice. the cocktail glasses are made of ice too. It made the drinks so delicious, so do not use a straw!

Google
I was in town for a conference and decided to book this one of my free days. I was not disappointed! I got the VIP-polar experience, the coat was fabulous & kept me nice an toasty. I got the polar bear hat, it was warm and so cute. The gloves were good, they aren't cell phone use friendly so you've got to take them off if you're going to take pictures. The drinks were great & the bartender was welcoming and friendly. I would absolutely recommend making a stop as a break from the heat and something fun to do.

Google
We did this because we got a Groupon. It was nice to be surrounded by ice because it was so hot out, but that’s about it. Wouldn’t pay to do it again. It was a cool experience for about 5 minutes.

Google
Cool experience. Everything is made out of ice, including the cups that you drink from. Employees need to be more hospitable and welcoming instead of talking to each other. Seemed like many of them didn’t want to be there working. While trying to put parkas and gloves on, the employee held the door to the ice bar open. The snaps on the parkas that we wore kept coming undone almost like it was defective. The bartender left us for long periods of time, even though we were purchasing alcoholic drinks a la carte ($17 a piece). Purchasing on Groupon might be a deal, but then trying to copy/paste the code is a pain in the rear when the employee at the front refuses to help or assist you.

Google
Fun and short... This excursion is really a in out out.... everything is in one room like one big 🧊 box. Just don't buy the drank pass before going in, because you will be forced to stay to finish your drank.

Yelp
Awesome experience but COLD AF! You literally walk into a freezer that is -5 degrees F. Before you go in, you have a couple options for additional clothing, gloves and head coverings - for a price. Once inside you can look around the -5 ICEBAR and take in the ice carvings and art displays. There are some interesting ways to take shots from the bar in risqué ice carvings, if that is your thing. Very friendly service from the bar tenders (how do they stay warm in here?!?!?!). Lots of cool photo op spots. Not sure if you can but I saw a few people smash their ice cups on the floor after they took their shot. They have furs on the ice seats but the cold still comes through. Tip1: 10% Military/Veteran discount available. Tip2: DO NOT set your ice cup down on the ice tables, they will slide right off onto the floor with your beverage! Saw this happen to a couple people whilst there.

Yelp
Minus5 ice bar could be fun if you're coming with a decent sized group, but otherwise it's a decently pricy endeavor ($50+ per person). The 'ice bar' section is honestly quite small, but still fun and they've got some novelty ice statues including a women's torso that you can drink shots out of. The fact that all the cups are made of ice is also a fun touch. The jackets they provide are decently warm, but the gloves are pretty shoddy. Also, I made the mistake of wearing flip flops in and that will definitely cut your visit short because I couldn't stay any longer than 50 minutes. Atmosphere wise, I went on a Thursday night and it was completely empty, so not exactly bumping. They also do provide the option of buying your tickets ahead of time on their website if you'd like. The drinks are decently boozy and the friendly bartender was probably the best part of the experience.

Yelp
It's an experience. Yes, it's expensive. You pay admission and then of course you need a drink. We purchased tickets online so it went very quick from when we arrived to the time to get the coats, less than 5 minutes. They carry sizes small - XX large which is nice and provide gloves. If you get a cocktail you will definitely need the gloves so you can hold your drink without it slipping since it's served in a bock of ice. It's around $13 or $14 for a cocktail and $8 for a mocktail or hot cocoa. The freezer area is definitely cold and was a nice reprieve from Vegas summer. There are two seating areas, one that's lie a pirate ship and one that is surfer themed. There are a few other benches and chairs as well. There was never more than 10 people when we were in there. I think if there was about 20 it would be too congested. There are a few spots for photos and the staff came in once to take some pictures. Unfortunately the 3 they took were all in the same spot, so they were all fairly the same. We hung out for about 30 minutes, which was enough since we wore shorts and flip flops. The staff were all friendly and it was a nice experience. My 11 year old absolutely loved it and was the highlight of the trip.

Yelp
Very cool experience. I have been to another one of these in Orlando and my nephew wanted to try it. We were in Vegas in August so it was of course hot so I was fine going. I was able to get tickets online for an entry about 4 hours later which was great. They do have packages online but just went with the admission. When we got there. The check in was super simple and only took a couple minutes to explain the process and get jackets. I am plus sized and they did have coats that fit which was nice. We each got a drink inside and while they were kind of expensive, it is Vegas, it is touristy and we were in Mandalay Bay so it was expected. You are not rushed once you are inside and we were able to hang out until we were all chill enough to leave. The staff were great and we had a good experience. I would absolutely return. I love being cold!

Yelp
This place is so cool! I came across this place on TikTok and bookmarked it as number 1 on our list of things to do while we were in Vegas. Friendly staff, very accommodating and even took pictures of us. Everything inside the ice bar is made of ice. The walls, seats, ice sculptures and even the cups they give you are made of ice. Major plus, this place is kid friendly! They even had games like Uno. Now onto the fun stuff... prepare to be bundled up! Before commencing on this icy endeavor, you'll be fitted with a parka and gloves because this place is super cold -5°C (23°F). The parka keeps you warm but once you take off a glove to take pictures, it's cooooold. Don't say I didn't warn you. But the cool thing is that there is no time limit. We ended up staying about an hour. I ordered a Truly and one of the cocktails the bartender recommended, "Arctic Sunset." My husband got an old fashioned. My kids got a soda, and my daughter got a water (which was free). The kids liked it, so it was well worth the money. Surprisingly, it wasn't crowded when we came on a Saturday afternoon. This was a fun experience to sit around the bar and enjoy the music and just hang out. Highly recommend this place! We booked our reservations at the Mandalay Bay location. There are actually 3 different locations you can go to: Mandalay Bay, Venetian, and LinQ hotel. What we paid: $13 for Kids Cool Experience (7-16 years old) includes entry, parka and gloves $49 Coolest Experience for adults which includes entry, parka, gloves and 2 ice cocktails

Yelp
Had a blast with our group of 17! Such a fun experience. Great music playing, the bar tenders were awesome. Fun drinks in ice glasses. It's small, like a huge freezer but still plenty of room to roam around! Worth every penny! Tips: Dress warm. They provide coats and gloves but still, dress warm, it's COLD! Bring tip money for the amazing bar staff! They have hot cocoa and it's delicious! After your exit, you can enter the speakeasy which I highly recommend as well! Buy the pictures, they turned out great even for our big group!
google avatar

Trish K.

Yelp
It's kitchy, overpriced but what isn't in Vegas? We did the VIP for an adult and child. Got a free hat! Yay! The drinks were small. The gloves aren't great but they're free. They took 3 pictures of us before we walked in. Then a few with the photographer. They're expensive pictures but cute. Small bar with drinks for adults and kids. Be warned- if you bring kids, they have adult sounding shots! You're probably not going to be in there very long because your hands get cold. Fun once just to say you did it. They take credit cards. Kids ok until 9pm

Yelp
This place is so cool!, literally! I believe we were told it was 10° when we went in, they give you big coats and a pair of gloves. Cheapest token in is $24, and there's 2 other packages for more. To my understanding it's unlimited time no matter what package you get (3 total). There's a bartender that stays inside so you don't have to run anywhere for drinks. It's kind of small, and they have some pictures and stuff around the place but nothing too fascinating. They have a few spots to sit down and a small counter in the middle to just stand by and soak in the scene. They have a tic tac toe board thing on the wall, and some pretty cool ice sculptures. Like I said it is pretty small in my opinion but I can't imagine what it takes to keep all of this frozen solid forever so, but it is indeed a very very nice experience, I would recommend it to everyone. I had 2 beer and they were $6 each so I was surprised by them being that cheap. My cousin got a Pepsi and it surely did freeze over in his glass, which are made of ice too, so darn tootin cool! If you had any thoughts about visiting one of these ice bars, you definitely should.

Yelp
I planned on coming in this last Monday 11/4/24 and had a very strange experience. The woman in the front who was helping us choose our package seemed very irritated to even be working. She could barely make eye contact and when she was talking she reeked of alcohol. I asked for her name and she told us it was Maddy but I'm not sure if she was being honest. I've been to the other ice bar locations and have never experienced anything like this. If you're looking for a fun place like this, check out their other locations so you don't have to deal with that stringy haired girl who bad mouths her own job.

Yelp
Unique and quirky cool place to go! I'm local and I've never been here until now, and i went with some family from out of town. A relaxed vibe for locals and out-of-towners alike. Our bartender, Brandon, was sooooo chill (no pun intended), funny, and informative. Thanks, man! There were plenty of places to take cool pictures, the drinks from the menu were sweet and fun and I love the signature ice cups. Try to take a bite once you're done with your drinks if you're brave! They're so fun. Great experience! I would recommend to anyone.

Yelp
We had a great time here and our server Amanda was awesome thank you so much for making last night in Vegas super fun! I would recommend to anyone who wants to experience something like this! The drinks were perfect thank you again Amanda! All the ladies who worked there were very nice.

Neets W.

Yelp
So this was such a cool & fun experience. It's also a great place to cool down and escape the Vegas heat (temporarily). : ) The service was good. I highly recommend visiting this bar. It's worth the money!

Kimberly L.

Yelp
I used to live in Montana where it gets to -50 lol! This is a hard pass for me as -5 is spring! In the summer it might be OK to beat the heat, but the casinos stay ice cold anyway...gamble and get free drinks no need to go here lol
google avatar

Abdul S.

Yelp
Cool spot for a unique experience away from the hot summer weather of Las Vegas. Personally, I believe it is worth only a one time trip and nothing more than that. Good experience, but super small and bartending service is extremely below average due to bartender retrieving drink necessities "from storage" after every two guests. Hard to believe this is this case but accepted. Worth the photo opportunities experience but nothing more. If you're going to plan a visit go with V-ICE-P experience to have a proper visit.

Renee J.

Yelp
Literally the most CHILLING experience.... Thank you for the amazing time. I had to tap out early but it was worth it

Yelp
Had so much fun here!!! Took my freshly turned 21 year old kid to Vegas and this was our first stop of the night! I booked easily online, had my tickets in my Apple Wallet, and headed over to this one of a kind frozen watering hole! Upon arrival you are fitted for a parka, given gloves and drink tokens, and even have access to a locker for your stuff! Once inside, you are transported to a frozen wonderland of ice and frozen pop culture imagery - too fun! The bartender had great suggestions and was tickled to be pouring my kid's first drink! I went with a cold old fashioned and my girl had a berry type concoction both served from a frozen ice shot glass. We then went for grown up hot cocoas that were delish! Pro Tip - do the scavenger hunt! It gives you something to do, keeps you moving, and you can win a fun prize! Super novel thing to do and I'm so glad we experienced this frozen bar! Good times!

Yelp
"minus5° Ice Experience, where everything is made of ice! Come chill with over 90 tons of ice while exploring a winter wonderland filled with amazing, interactive ice sculptures. This unique, one-of-a-kind ice experience is sure to create some fun and amazing memories for you and your friends." - Taken from their site. Time to update this review now that I've actually gone inside the minus5 ICEBAR. I did the $49 entrance for two drinks, gloves, and jacket. Inside we met a great guy named, "Jake from State Farm" AKA Lucifer. He made a Four Horseman that completely floored me. We had a fun time and lasted inside this chilly icebar for at least an hour. Many pictures were taken, lots of drinks were had, and Jake/Lucifer is seriously one cool dude from Minnesota. He doesn't know what "Bobby's World" is though so that's a shame. ;P Some notes: - Bring cash with you to tip your bartender - You pay when you exit - Your phone could potentially stick to the ice table - You have to buy a new ice glass should anything happen to your glass - Have fun and take lots of pictures!

Yelp
We came to Vegas to celebrate my birthday and Minus5 was one of the top things I wanted to do/see. Upon arriving we paid for our package and entered into a whole other world made of ice!! Melissa was our hostess and provided exceptional customer service. There was colorful lights and a great variety of music playing and it wasn't extremely loud which we appreciated. We will definitely return.
google avatar

Yelp
We did not do the Ice Experience that 63 degree day in Vegas but we were thirty and wanted to try one of the famous "yard" style drinks sin city is known for. They add shots for a extra charge that takes a lot of the sweetness out and increase the potency. My son had a 70 ounce with 8 shots added and I had a 50 ounce with 5 shots added. The original price is hefty but you get about 25% off when you refill on future purchases. Great drink, Courteous staff and more alcohol than Fat Tuesdays yard. I would recommend for the "yard or more" experience.

John S.

Yelp
A waste of time and money. I picked the lowest packaged (Cool Experience) for $24. Drinks were not included, so additional $12. And let's not forget taxes. So basically I just spent $41 for one cocktail (the most expensive alcoholic drink I ever purchased in my entire life). The place was so boring and small (almost the size of my apartment living room). I was in there for 10 minutes and left because I was so bored and not impressed at all.

Ariel Z.

Yelp
The Ice Bar was so much fun for me and my daughter while we were at The Venetian! Thanks to bartender Josh who took good care of us and all of our cocktail/mocktail needs! Tip: if you are planning to go, wear pants! Although you get a warm parka and gloves, your legs will be cold if you are wearing a dress/shorts!
google avatar

Melinda E.

Yelp
There's no food here and the service was entertaining and a fun experience! There's different packages you can buy which will depend on drinks and what size coat you get to wear . I believe we had two drinks and the cups are made of ice. If you want cool photos , to be cold and socialize , then this is the place for you .

Yelp
I come to Vegas for food, bars, and experiences. This place was certainly an experience. The inside was small but it was very interesting. The ice sculptures and ambiance was relaxing while still maintaining a party vibe. The drinks, while expensive outside the ticket bundle, were still good. Overall I had a good time and glad I went. But why the three stars? Well while waiting in line we were approached by a lovely girl who scanned our tickets, spoke to us about the experience, then sent us in. We were stopped again by another friendly girl who stamped our arms and pointed out the line for us to go into. It seemed like smooth sailing until the cashier stopped us. She very aggressively told us we had to wait in the line we were just in. I explained to her that her coworkers already check us in. She sharply told us that she was the only one working so it wasn't possible so we had to go back in line. I showed her my stamp and asked who was the one who stamped me then? At that moment the previous girl who stamped my arm walked by and told her she stamped me and that we were checked in. The cashier just said "oh" and with no apology or anything, just went back to the other customers. I understand wanting to make sure everyone gets their turn and pays for their experience, but that was extremely rude and accusatory. It ruined the excitement my group was feeling and put a damper on the mood. She not only immediately aggressive with us for no reason, she straight up lied to us about being the only one working when her coworkers (identified by their T shirts with the logo in it) were only a few feet from her. I'm not sure if this woman was having a bad day or simply didn't like us, but she nearly ruined the experience for me. I hope she had a better attitude with the other customers.
google avatar

Michelle L.

Yelp
Really cool spot with exceptionally friendly service! The entire bar is kept at freezing temps and they gave us parkas and gloves to wear inside to stay warm. There is an entrance fee (differs depending on what coat you want/if you want drinks included in the entrance fee). The drinks were sweet and served in cups made of ice. Not really a place where you can hang around for a long time because you'll inevitably get cold (we left after 45 mins). Cool to try for the experience but I can see why it's not for everyone.
google avatar

Dee V.

Yelp
Had a great time at Minus5 Icebar. We selected our package with coats and received our drink tickets and headed in to freeze our butts off. We had a good time listening to music, playing games, taking pictures. Go for the longer coats. We did fur coats for fun but you'd be fine with the parkas. The bartenders were welcoming and fun and offered to snap pics for us. They do have a photographer that can come in and take group pics for you as well, for an additional cost, of course. When you leave, you turn in your coats and exit through the speakeasy next door. We stayed and enjoyed some cocktails and to warm up. :)
google avatar

Lara W.

Yelp
We went to this bar on a Sunday at 10 pm and it was completely empty. For $50 we got a coat, gloves, two shot-style very sugary drinks, and as much time as we wanted to sit in the ice. A scavenger hunt was available. The experience was pretty fun, at least for a novel hour. There's quite a bit to look at and the coat keeps you warm enough. We wish more people had been there, but the staff were very friendly and the music was good. We enjoyed the experience but probably would only recommend this if you know you're spending $65 (cost+ tip) for a brief and cold, albeit unique, experience.

Yelp
We aren't really "go out to a nightclub" people, so we visited Minus 5 in the middle of the afternoon. I really just wanted to see it for the spectacle of it! It's not huge and there's not a ton to do or anything, but it is a super unique and impressive experience. Everything but the floor and ceiling is made of ice, including places to sit, the walls, any shelving...lots of ice carving and artistry. And it was just fun to drink a cocktail out of a glass made of ice! We were the only ones there for most of our time there and took lots of pictures and just kind of marveled that we were in a tiny ice castle in the middle of the American Southwest desert! If you're intrigued, go check it out! It really is pretty cool, no pun intended :)

Yelp
What a wonderful experience thanks to our hostess, Iniki. It felt as if we had the VIP treatment as soon as we arrived on Saturday night. We were welcomed in, handed gloves and furry jackets to keep warm. I honestly thought that this place was going to have just a couple of ice sculptures and then we drank and call it a day, but on the contrary we were not prepared for what we were about to see. The entire bar is made out of ice. The category is: Antarctica realness, baby!! Not only were there ice sculptures, there was ice everything! Including the actual BAR and the cups. Iniki recommended for us to try a famous drink there called a mudslide, and then we tried a watermelon drink off her recommendation as well. Iniki even got us professional pictures with the penguin! Pro tip: do not come in shorts / sandals (duh) I'm definitely coming back here during the summer to keep calm, cool, and collected. Thank you so much for a wonderful time, iniki!!

Yelp
Cool concept and helps with the Vegas heat. Everyone was super friendly. We got the package that comes with a parka, gloves and two drinks for about $50. You can upgrade to a fur coat for more. It was a lot smaller than I thought when we walked in and was kinda crowded at first. They have a few booths, places to sit and places to stand. It really was cold in there! Stayed there about an hour which was longer than we thought we would have stayed.

Yelp
Just came home from bachelorette, and I gotta say this place has been weighing heavy on my mind due to the customer service and all around misleading information about this bar. I get it, it's vegas, but there were a lot of details I wish were disclosed before we walked in. Basic package $25 just gets you in with a standard parka and gloves - $50 gets you a standard parka, gloves, two drinks - Final package $75 gets you the "nice" fur parkas, gloves, two drinks, a beanie to take home, a photo of your group. My cons: *The nice parkas they have by the register are fun patterns, fun colors VERY appealing and exciting to picture yourself wearing in an ice bar BUT what they don't tell you is those are just display and the "fur ones" are just black and white options. We specifically chose the larger package due to the neon parkas being displayed on a hanging rack near the front entrance. When explaining the packages they even point and talk about how those parkas are the nice parkas in the $75 package! *The larger packages are pushed because they say " the drinks inside are even more expensive! So don't do the little package, the larger packages are sooo worth it because it includes drinks" WRONG yes they have a few expensive drinks but they also have $5-$8 drinks too, $5 shots. Soooo my $25 package and two shots is still cheaper than the second package they offer at $50....the main drinks are watered down, zero buzz off two drinks. Very sugary, you're better off with the small package and a few shots. * The jackets that come with the $25-$50 package...have fake pockets! No pockets WTH. The lines for the pockets are there on the jacket but they're sewn shut. We had an issue with the buttons being missing too! I had to return my jacket THREE TIMES to get a jacket with ALL the buttons still in tact. One of our fur coats ($75 jacket) also had button issues. With a bar that makes this much money you'd think they have WORKING jackets. * We had a photographer going around, she had mentioned we needed to be out for a wedding that was coming in and she was warning us. And we were like wait what? We just dropped around $200 to be in here and we're told at the register we could stay as long as we wanted hence why we paid $200 because we didn't want to feel rushed. She mentioned ohhhh sorry usually guests only last 40 minutes.....we lasted an hour and 20minutes.....so we felt scammed that that information was not given to us when we paid, we would've just came at another time. * Larger packages you receive a free beanie to take home, they have these cute bear ones that we couldn't touch or try on to make sure they fit, we were told once we touch them we have to pay for them. I have an average head, and I mention the bear ones looked oddly small, she let me know in confidence multiple times they were adult sizing and that everything is catered to adults. Heads up THEY ARE IN FACT kids sizing lol found that out after we bought it and touched it and was not able to exchange it or return it. * Large package comes with a photo. We thought for $75 it would be printed * The female hosts, rude, pushy, one girl made it seem like an exhausting task to walk us back and get us geared up, she made us feel dumb for asking questions about the coats and bathrooms, she just constantly kept staring blankly at us. She takes you back to do a "photo booth" style photo, rushes you through it. We didn't get to see the photos and she just clicked the button where it took three photos with three different vegas style backgrounds (like a photo booth) but we weren't aloud to see or approve them or see if we blinked and she just pushed us through. They made me feel awful when I had to keep coming back for a new coat due to missing buttons and even made a comment stating "what do I expect with the smaller package coats, that's why you should get the fur ones" it was really embarrassing that she said that in front of a group of strangers. Once inside though the male bartender was very sweet and lovely. Overall neat bar (I mean you're in ice) everything is ice except the floor and ceiling. Music was good, nothing to do in there, and honestly a lot smaller than I expected. I thought there would be more of a party vibe, they advertise the large penguins walking around and a party atmosphere, games, but no party and no penguins and no games....just ice, broken parkas and watered down drinks We won't be back, one and done type spot. I wouldn't recommend it, too many misleading things for the price you pay. Just go to the snow and get drunk at a ski lodge. OR get drinks at Prohibition next door (their drinks were strong and sooo tasty!) then walk to ice bar for the basic package just for the experience and then never go back haha

Yelp
This is the "coolest" bar we went to while in Vegas. We did the VIP experience which I HIGHLY recommend. You get a toboggan which is super cute and two drink tickets. You get a thick warm jacket and gloves with a regular admission but VIP gets you a fuzzy faux fur coat! I recommend closed toed shoes if you're coming as your feet will get cold otherwise. The whole room.. bar, seats, walls.. everything is made of ice. The seats have furs covering the ice so it's still comfy to sit down. The cups are made of ice and the extra cold drinks just make them better. There is an ice statue that you can do shots out off and the bartender gets the whole room involved to cheer you on. While we were there we made friends with some other patrons and that made it even more fun. This would be great for a large group! Everyone that comes to Vegas should try this experience at least once. We had the best night here!

Yelp
This experience was one that we were kind of hesitant about doing. We didn't book in advance and decided to play it by ear while we were in Vegas. We were staying at the hotel and decided to go ahead and check it out. I am definitely glad we did because we had a nICE time! It is conveniently located at the Shoppes at Mandalay Place between the Luxor and Mandalay Bay. We had a group of 14 and were able to get all of us in at one time. The staff was very friendly and explained everything perfectly. The price seemed a little steep to us, but when in Vegas, you splurge a little bit. We splurged on the "coolest experience" because we wanted the faux fur coats and the drink in the ice glass. For more than half the price, you just get a parka and no drink. Our group was mostly girls, so they gave all the girls white fur coats and the guys black fur coats. It made for nice group pics. The cold hits you right when you walk in, but the coat and gloves keep you nice and comfy. We had in and our privileges which gave us time to warm up a bit for round two. Music was excellent and we had a blast in the there. The drinks were surprisingly really tasty and I even splurged for a round of shots off their ice sculpture for the group. All in all, a great time was had by all. I would come again but check out their other location most likely first! Definitely a COOL experience.

Yelp
I went to another one of the ice bars in Vegas, and I was disappointed because they did not have their photographer roaming around. We were in the bar for about 1.5 hrs and only saw her one time with another couple, we kept waiting hoping we could get a pose with the Stanley Cup. When we left, I was looking for a T-shirt to buy - they didn't sell any there. So two missed opportunities to upsell... We happened to walk by the bar in the Mandalay Bay and I was drawn over to it because they had t-shirts for sale - specifically the one I had wanted. They didn't have my size in the back but took the shirt off the mannequin to sell. Also, I mentioned my disappointment in pictures at the other location and they invited us into the bar with nice fur coats to take photos! They were absolutely wonderful to work with and they were able to offer the experience that the other location fell short on. Lastly, the manager had heard about the other experience and reached out and checked on me to be sure I was satisfied. Fantastic staff and location!!!

Yelp
Minus 5 was so much fun.... You pay a slightly ridiculous about of money to be ice cold in a room made of ice... My gf and I got the white fun coats (it's a must, no poncho for me) I need to be warm and I'm glad I purchase the fur. As you walk into this ice cold freezer your slapped in the face with a cold wind and then your nose starts to run. Oh yeah, its COLD! As we walked towards the bar, we stopped by a chair made of ice. Photo opt moment..... Then we noticed a cute picture frame that "happy birthday" all in ice. We finally made it to the bar and received our free drink with our upgrade fur coat purchase. I was surprised that the drink was so good! It's been 15 minutes and it feels like I've been in this freezer for a week. My body was screaming for a warm blanket. I was told by the bartender "the longest person to stay here has been 45 minutes" and boy do I believe him. Everybody should try Minus 5 at least once!

Yelp
The staff was very sweet and helpful offering options but not "overselling". The atmosphere was crazy good! We spent way more time than I expected even tho it was quite chilly!! The bartender was funny and helped us celebrate. We drank out of glasses made of ice and there were different rooms with themes, we hung out in the "Shaka" room being that we were all from Hawaii!!!! And a super cool thing was upon exiting we were taken into a complete FLIP of an old world Prohibition Bar that was warmly lit and had a fireplace (not a real one but it was great to see coming out of the cold). It was just everything we wanted . The minus five ice bar even had hot coco drinks.

Yelp
Pricey!‍ i don't think most of the customer who tried this place stayed here for that long! Not because of the temperature but the price is high‍ and the place is not that big! Temperature wise I can say it's okay coz I am used to cold weather living in Alaska.

Yelp
My friends and I loved the Minus 5 Ice Lounge! There are a couple of locations in Vegas but we bought a Groupon only valid at this Minus 5 within Mandalay Bay. Our Groupon for 2 cost me $29 and included 2 digital photos (they only gave us 1 but that's cool), admission including the standard gloves & coats. This is $36 if you buy through them so you'll save a few bucks this way. Drinks are extra but there was a Groupon that included boos, so just do your comparisons and figure out what works best. We went on a Sunday about 7pm and were the only people there for about 30 minutes. It was super cool having the entire ice bar to ourselves and getting to explore. I seriously thought it was so fun inside! It was a bit smaller than we expected but there were so many cool components - a Game of Thrones room (perfect for someone like me whose spirit animal is Khalessi), a gambling table made of ice, a surfing section and all the chairs and tables are made of ice. And the cups for the drinks! We were in the ice bar for about an hour and I was able to handle the temp just fine. I'm from Chicago though and my Cali friends were ready to GTFO after about 40 minutes, so plan accordingly for your group. Even after you leave the ice kingdom inside, Minus 5 has a nice bar serving up drinks that was packed and a bunch of fun games. We shot some baskets, played some shuffleboard & played some bags at Minus5 even after leaving the freezing lounge portion of the bar. I've been wanting to try an ice bar for ages & Minus 5 was everything I hoped and dreamed for! Great staff, fun experience and I'd definitely recommend this spot and go again myself!

Yelp
I have been wanting to come here for years! I finally got to go about a week ago and do the full experience! This place is so cool, and they change it every 1 to 3 years inside so even if you have done it before I encourage you to come back and do it again because it changes! I know I will definitely be back! Me and my friends did the full package, so we even got panda hats which were so cute! I also got the upgrade to the cheetah jacket instead of the regular parka which worked really well for the pictures inside! So once you go inside the whole place is made of ice. Where you sit, the walls, the bar, even the cups that you drink your cocktails out of are made of ice! What an amazing experience! Obviously the ambience is amazing, the customer service was hands-down amazing as well and so much fun! Even though it was -5° inside, I was freezing, but I had such an amazing time, the bartender was shirtless under his jacket and apparently he was from Minnesota so -5° didn't bother him which I thought was hilarious! A dance party even broke out to stay warm which was so much fun. The cocktails were great! We had Ice in Da Coconut, frosted berries, arctic sunsets, and many more. They also have this thing where you try four different sorbets and you guess the flavor. I was not a fan of these as they tasted like vegetable ice cream's. I don't know how else to describe it. I would not try these. But the cocktails were amazing, have as many as possible! They even have this frozen statue that you can take shots out of! And if you are a germaphobe like me do not worry they do it in a way that is clean and with new straws! So much fun! I cannot wait to go back again!

Yelp
Such an awesome experience. This is definitely a place for groups of people. My husband and I came on our own and only stayed for about 30 min and felt it wasn't worth the experience type that we paid for. However we will be coming back with our friends and family soon.

Yelp
Such a fun concept. My group of friends came in and had a great time. You get a coat and gloves to keep you warm inside. The drinks are decent for the price and on the day of our visit the employees were so friendly! Definitely visit this place for a unique bar experience

Yelp
Pretty cool experience! If you have never done an icebar, you should try it once and def with friends. Def a bit over priced, but its a unique experience on the strip- so you have to pay premium. There was no one there when we got there around 2ish pm. They opened at 11. They quickly rush you through putting things in lockers, throwing on pocket-less parkas, and taking your photo (without telling you what backgrounds are or how you should pose). Inside, it was cold (no duh) and there were lots of different statues, chairs, posing ops, and the bar. The family had a good time taking selfies and group photo's with the various ice sculptures and signs. They also ask if you want to buy the (spontaneous) photo's you took before entering the bar. I would have preferred a professional photographer inside the lounge instead of the green screen for photos. Overall, was a cool experience for the family!

Yelp
Such a fun experience for our family. My son loved the cup made of ice the most. It was a highlight of our trip.

Yelp
This place was cool to experience but I wouldn't go more than once, mostly everything is made out of ice which is super cool but it's like 80 a person (comes with a free drink in an ice cup). Extra drinks were like $18-20 bucks and there wasn't that many people in there to consider it a place to actually turn up at lol. Great place for photos though but again it's kinda a one and done place and a little overpriced

Yelp
This experience was amazing. My feet are frozen and hands but it was worth it. This experience was one of kind. You get the options of either a jacket or a fur jacket and a few different hats. We chose the fur jackets for an additional charge. With hats to match. Everything is charged separately which was okay.

Yelp
I had so much fun here, it's super cute and different. I love the unique experience. I love the different artwork and photo options around. They also offer photos for purchase and you can get them emailed which was so nice. I don't like to get physical photo copies while still going around vegas so the fact they have that option is nice. The fur seating on the ice is a lot more comfortable than I thought it would be. I definitely wasn't as cold as I thought, the parka and gloves work well, but glad I wore layers. The drinks were good and the cups were awesome, also had boozy hot chocolate. The girls at the front were so nice; and the girl who took our photos.

Yelp
Cool experience but prob good for a one time deal. Too pricey for me and the drinks were not good. I did pay extra to have the nice fur coat instead of the traditional coat included because it was warmer. Worth it to upgrade. Neat concept though. I like that everything was made from Ice even the cups you drink out of! Good thing they give you gloves! The lighting was very much of a club vibe. Also the (Game of thrones) ice iron throne was pretty awesome. My husband def loved that.

Yelp
They highly suggest you tip when you pay to get in. My group was told the tip is supposed to go to all of the staff except the bartender who has a tip bucket. I regretted later tipping early, should have waited to see what service we'd get. There was no reason that I experienced that they deserved a tip. When we arrived after 11pm the girl who checked us in told us we can stay as long as you want most people stay about an hour. We didn't realize it closed at midnight. Since the friendly attitude was stay as long as you want we didn't rush. It would have been nice if we had been told they were closing at midnight. We would have came back a different night. I don't want to be rushed or overstay. The place is a lot smaller than you'd think. Thankfully it wasn't crowded. The bartender was not friendly at all. The drinks are delicious. At a certain point he disappeared and never said anything. Staff was cleaning up and going back and forth around us and I wish again they had told us they were closing at midnight instead of us feeling rushed, not welcome, and in the way. My whole group left feeling this way. The parka and gloves are fun and our pictures turned out great! The ice cups are neat and add to the experience. $75 plus tipping was expensive. Now that I've seen it and based on our experience I would not recommend it or go back.

Yelp
10/10! The drinks are amazing, and what an amazing experience. Thank you to the staff for making it so welcoming. HUGE shout out to Carli, Melissa, Haley, and Chelsea!! They all need raises cause they were awesome! Had so much fun!
