Unfortunately, our visit to Mirabella Coastal Italian was a major disappointment and not at all what we expected from a restaurant with such upscale pricing. We ordered one appetizer, one main course (a simple spaghetti with just tomato sauce), one kid’s portion of spaghetti, two glasses of wine, and a bottle of sparkling water. To our surprise, the total bill came to $175. For that amount, you expect a high-quality dining experience with refined dishes and thoughtful presentation — but that was far from the case. The food was very basic, lacking depth and flavor. The spaghetti with tomato sauce was something you could easily make at home in minutes, with no special ingredients or care that would justify the price. Even the portions were on the small side. While the service was polite, it didn’t make up for the overall lackluster experience or the excessive cost. In short, Mirabella left us feeling underwhelmed and overcharged. There are far better options for Italian cuisine where you actually get value for your Money

Everything was excellent! We were seated immediately even though we were 30mins early. We ordered a glass of Malbec and borelo. We had the fried calamari as an appetizer which was only lightly breaded and was excellent. We then had the Lobster Gnocchi and the Crest with Bolegnese. It was AMAZINGLY delicious!! We finished off the evening with Tiramisu which my wife said was the best she’s ever had. The service was excellent, our water glass was never empty and they offered to bring more bread which is also very fresh and delicious. We will definitely be returning.

Google
Perhaps I'm biased because I'm definitely a fan of Michael White's restaurants, but I would classify Mirabella as another fine Italian dining experience. We enjoyed pretty much everything about our dinner and had a great meal. I'm sure that people will find more faults because of the higher expectations that come with higher prices, but the food, service and atmosphere were all great.

I enjoyed the ambiance and the service was excellent. Our server was very attentive and the sommelier came by and offered pairing recommendations. I love Miami Spice and the options were worth it. Loved the crispy eggplant to start, then the spicy vodka and the tiramisu to end. I recommend a reservation and valet is validated for a discount.

Google
Absolutely horrendous service with mediocre food. We came in on a Sunday night excited to eat and were immediately stunned by a 10 minute wait for waters, let alone service. A table seated after us was quickly served whilst we were seemingly ignored. We quickly got our drinks but our food was slow to arrive, despite a near empty restaurant. My plate, the Chicken Cacciatore, looked like someone had just thrown on the vegetables, sauce and chicken and sent it out. The chicken was dry and despite how hungry I was, impossible to eat. My friend took the Vodka Rigatoni. The plate promised peas and pancetta mixed in with the pasta, yet arrived with nothing but the pasta and the sauce- resembling a child’s pasta plate. Furthermore, we had to wait 10 minutes for the waitress to even come and check if my friend wanted parmesan on her pasta (despite immediately offering it to a table near us), and even then she nearly forgot. After neither of us had really touched our plates and had pushed them away from us, our waitress never even bothered to help after we told her we weren’t happy with our plates and didn’t even pick up the plates until we called her over to reiterate that we were done. With a built in service charge of 20% it was clear to us that she cared more to tend to other clients. Very unfortunate experience. I would absolutely not recommend this restaurant to anybody and would even suggest avoiding it.

We went to Mirabella’s for Valentine’s Day dinner. Loved the decor, romantic vibes, and great views. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. They even gave a rose to all the women dining that night.

Google
Beautiful restaurant, amazing food, incredible service. Michael our server was very helpful and knowledgeable and read my wife's mind while helping her navigate the menu. The sommelier (whom they share with Prime 54) recognized us and said hello. They brought my wife a special treat for her birthday and packaged the leftovers carefully at our request (small fridge in the room). Big recommend. Get the Ossobuco.

Google
What an amazing experience! The food was spectacular and the service was just incredible. Burak was our waiter and recommended the most delicious items from the menu. I will definitely come back with the whole family!

Yelp
Ate here July 9. Was very good. Service was prompt and attentive. The food was good. Caesar salad was nice with a touch of lemon in the dressing. The regular basil spaghetti was delicious. Bread and oil was fresh, soft. It was dark inside, the music was weird (60's hits like Lollipop by the Chordettes) and chairs were close together but I would be happy to eat here again. The host was kind and my waiter was very nice. The spaghetti pomodoro did taste very similar to what Scarpetta used to serve.

Yelp
I went to Mirabella in search of an assaggio--a little taste--that would transport me straight to Italy without ever leaving Miami. And let me tell you, I was not disappointed. I started with the eggplant parmesan appetizer and a couple of golden, crispy arancini--each bite more satisfying than the last. Paired with a perfectly chilled Aperol Spritz (my all-time favorite), the flavors danced together in effortless harmony. Mirabella absolutely nailed it. With just the appetizer and drink, I was already immersed in the essence of Italian culinary artistry. So imagine what happened when the main courses arrived... If you're craving a true taste of Italy, let Mirabella take you there--no passport required. Go see (and taste) for yourself.

Yelp
Great dinner at Mirabella last night with my family while staying at the hotel for the weekend. Their happy hour goes until 7, and includes drinks and appetizers. We ended up going a little early for a happy hour drink and shared app. And then moved to the main dining room for dinner. We had made a reservation on open table the week of. Service was great, very nice and attentive. My sister got the Bella to drink, it was really good, very refreshing. I got the halibut which I really enjoyed and was a pretty large portion. We also got a pasta to share and that was delicious and I sort of wish I had just gotten pasta for my dinner. They also put down some free tasty chocolates for dessert.

Yelp
The food today was incredible and the atmosphere was warm and inviting which set the perfect tone for our first night here. In particular, our waiter Manuel truly made our experience, he greeted us with genuine enthusiasm and immediately made us feel welcomed and at ease. His knowledge of the menu was impressive and he provided insightful recommendations tailored to our preferences. He also had a great sense of humor and charm, which made our evening feel more personal and joyful! I will definitely be coming here again!!

Yelp
what a disappointment They advertise as an Italian Sea Coast restaurant, then why play 60's Roll & Roll background music all night. I wanted the veal chop not fried. Server came back and said, sorry can't do. " pre-breaded"

Yelp
When you enter this restaurant, it is chic and sophisticated. We came here for Friday night dinner. It was not busy. We sat in the booth. We ordered Vesuvius and Lady Rosa cocktails. We enjoyed it. I ordered lumache (spicy vodka sauce). It was delicious. It is exactly what I wanted to eat. My boyfriend got the gnochetti. He really liked it it. Overall we enjoyed our meals and too full to order a dessert. But the waiter brought out mini desserts: cookies, chocolates and tarts. Loved the chocolate piece!

Yelp
Great atmosphere with indoor/outdoor spaces overlooking the pool area and ocean. Terrific service.

Yelp
Mirabella exceeded my expectations from start to finish. The atmosphere is cozy yet elegant, creating the perfect ambiance for a memorable meal. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm, making us feel right at home. As for the food--absolutely divine. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. We started with the burrata, which was creamy and fresh, paired perfectly with a hint of truffle oil. For the main

Yelp
Located in the Fontainebleau hotel, this restaurant is chic with a clean sexy upscale design. The service was amazing. We came for the Miami Spice menu and our waiter was very attentive and accommodating. The eggplant was a winner. Very crisp on the outside, thinly sliced and tasty. I enjoyed every bite. The spicy vodka pasta was delicious with pecorino was sharp and cheesy. The bambolini doughnuts were the highlight of the ending of dinner. Portion size was good and satisfying.

Yelp
This place has tthe vibes! My group sat outside since were a little rowdy and the view to the whole out entire Fontainebleau was definitely giving. Our server was Michael, super attentive and cordial, him a their sommelier Gil kept our glasses full and the laughs on deck. The food was exquisite! I'm not a fan of Italian food but I'm definitely a fan of mirabellas food, their branzino and the octopuses are definitely the best one I've tried in a long time. 10/10

Yelp
Wow, I had an amazing experience at Mirabella during a girls' trip to Miami! We were staying at the Fontainebleau and decided to give it a try for dinner on our last night. This was one of the best food decisions of our trip! The food was phenomenal! The restaurant is gorgeously decorated and was great for our group. The service was excellent and the sommelier gave excellent wine recommendations to pair with our meal. We tried the fritto misto, shrimp gratinati and lobster & burrata as our shared appetizers. Everything was divine but I am partial to the shrimp gratinati. We decided to split some pastas and try a little bit of everything. The branzino and lumache were the hit of the night. I'm already planning my next trip to Miami which much include a stop at Mirabella!

Yelp
Mirabella is one of our favorite Italian restaurants in the heart of Miami Beach, offering fantastic food, a thoughtfully curated wine list, and exceptional ambiance and service. It's the perfect spot for a great and memorable dining experience.

Yelp
We have eaten here twice during our stay- manager Robert "ask for Bobby" was so welcoming Chicken Marsala was fabulous- pasta was delicious - bombolina dessert ( hello Italian doughnuts where have you been my whole life?)could be a meal on its own! SUGGESTION TO MANAGEMENT - If anyone is reading this techno music was all wrong for this venue even in Miami Our first night was techno and just felt wrong. Our return visit was on Sunday in the lounge --- all classic oldies Please make the music match the Italian steak house vibe every night! Exceptional service - we plan to return!

Yelp
First off bring your wallet. There are no inexpensive meals here. We split a Caesar salad which was really exceptional. We each had a cocktail. My husband complained that the olives in his 22$ Martini were small and tasted old. My cocktail was great. My husband had the swordfish entree which was the favorite entree for him of our entire trip. However he ordered the rosemary potatoes which were really weird small pieces of potato with an odd flavor and they looked and tasted awful to him. The serving was huge. I ordered the Dover sole in brown butter the portion was huge but it was the best fish I've ever had ($90). I ordered the side of pasta with red sauce which was generous and. Delicious. The pasta was fresh. The service was good. If I went again I would split an entree or just order a side of pasta and salad. They charge a foot loaded service fee there of 15-18% so you have to be careful or you will tip twice on your meal. Also I appreciate when a server tells me that an entree is of generous size. I had to waste over half of that beautiful Dover sole

Yelp
Chef white is beyond talented and it shows in his recipes and the food! Every dish that came to our table was perfected and brought out! Our server was Gil who I do not have enough words to describe how great his customer service was at the table with my kiddos! The meats we ordered were cooked to our liking and requested temp. The roasted chicken was so crispy and just finger licking good!! Ufffff now to the dessert, I can not even pick a favorite because every one we had was phenomenal the tiramisu the bambolis!! Can not wait to be back now to retry all the dishes and I am sure chef white and chef Jason will keep the consistency there!!

Yelp
Delicious and incredible service must go if you are near by You will not regret it

Yelp
Food is outstanding (carpaccio, gnochetti pasta and branzino blew my experience). The staff is friendly, kind and servicial If you are looking for a place with No loud music as all Miami and nice vibes, definitely this is that place.
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely the worst food and expensive. Three coarse meal, which was terrible, three glasses of wine cost $240. They should change the name to Fountainblows.

Yelp
The restaurant's ambiance is fresh and inviting, adorned with vibrant colors. The service was remarkably attentive and welcoming, and the food--especially the osso buco--was outstanding."

Yelp

Yelp
This was a great italian restaurant. The ambience is great and the food is excellent. While is it pricey it is worth it. Would recommend eating here.

Yelp
Very salty scallops and asparagus. Waiter very absent. Never checked. For dessert I asked for hot tea with Bailey's crème on the side. Yea arrived and 10 min later came Bailey's. My husband was finished with his dessert. Busy place for dinner. Pretty decor

Ellie C.

Yelp
Very long wait even with a reservation, then a long wait for the food. Our server and food was good but the wait really ruined the dinner. Would not return.

Yelp
They don't offer a 2.5 star but that is what this place is. The food is not an issue if you read the other complaints, which I did after the first time we were here today. They all seemed to be around service or lack there of and our visit was no different. You have can have great food but if your service is not up to par, then who cares. We showed up and decided to have appetizers before going out. No reservations, so we sat in the bar area at a table. We ordered stone crab and two orders of oysters. Our appetizers were 225 dollars. No big issue but the waitress (Alysa) was not good. She said she would check on MP for me and never came back. I had to reminder again. I also had no water for 20 mins after she said she would come back and bring it to me. She never asked if we wanted horse radish or hot sauce with the oysters. I had to ask the food runner. She walked by our table and took care of the two young good looking guys beside us, as if they were the only ones in the place. I counted at least 5 visits to their table during the time I couldn't get water, after she said "I'll be right back with your water". I had to flag down a food runner again for another glass of water, who eventually found her, then she didn't even come and say, sorry I forgot. She sent a manager over who finally gave us water. I had to ask her again later before we left because again, no drink. She also either forgot to put in our second order of oysters because they took forever. The second order, while having great taste had a ton of shell pieces in them. 5 dollars an oyster (twice the market price) and you can't shuck them correctly? Anyways, we visit Fountainebleau all the time and we frequented Scarpetta before it closed but I do not think we will be back here. I like the service at the steak house and Hakasan so much more! We will be at the Fountainebleau in Vegas next week, I hope this isn't their Italian restaurant! Again, food is good but service is AWFUL for premium prices!

Yelp
I had an amazing experience at Mirabella. The restaurant was beautiful. The eggplant and bucatini were delicious. Our server, Manuel, was incredible. He was extremely attentive. I will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
We joined Mirabella for a rehearsal dinner with about 40 people last Friday evening. What a wonderful event thanks to Katherine and Robert! The room was beautiful, service outstanding and the food was delicious!! Thank you so much for taking such great care of us.

Yelp
This place is amazing, I enjoyed the environment and the food was great, beautiful view if you get a seat at the balcony! the service is excellent!!! We had a lovely dinner! Thanks

Yelp
Stopped into Mirabella on a Tuesday around 8pm and sat at the bar. The service was fantastic. I was immediately greeted by multiple bartenders. The restaurant is small and quiet with only a few tables inside. Their bread is made in house fresh and it is fantastic! I only ordered the Malfadine as I was alone, but looking forward to stopping by again sometime to try some more from their menu.
google avatar

Eric S.

Yelp
The place is brilliant. Only open 3 weeks - wine list is amazing, Sommelier a gentlemen, wait staff wonderful - and the food, my god. I kid you not, the braised octopus pasta dish was the best pasta dish I've ever had (in the USA at least). All food was of 5 star quality. The only annoyance - some lady with her led lighting while filming everything going on...restaurant staff should have shut her production down. Seriously - the best dining we had in Miami - hands down. Wonderful and cannot wait to go back.

Yelp
The place is very nice and a great vibe. Overall the experience was great and I had a great time. The service was amazing and the servers were great. I got the Lumache pasta which was a spicy vodka pasta and was very good and creamy just a bit too spicy.
google avatar

Orly S.

Yelp
I'm visiting from LA and came here for dinner with a friend. The decor was super cute -a vintage beach vibe completed by the uniforms of the servers. The service was 10/10. Our waitress was charming and helpful. The food was 10/10. The focaccia bread was to die for! We ordered the rosemary potatoes, Cesar salad & Lumache pasta in spicy vodka sauce. Everything was tasty and flavorful. I'm generally very picky about my alcohol but My mojito was exceptional!

Logan R.

Yelp
By far the best dining experience I've had in my many years visiting Miami. Every dish, every choice, was expertly crafted with a keen attention to detail and expertly executed. Service was elite. Atmosphere was convivial. Could not possibly recommend a restaurant more. Michael White and his team have done it yet again!

Tata

Yelp
The manager displays a sarcastic demeanor and shows a lack of regard for guests. Even though the dress code is appropriate for the primary dining section, the location of the beachfront resort in Miami implies that wearing nice bermudas with closed-toe shoes or a lovely maxi dress paired with stylish sandals should be acceptable, especially when dining as a group of ten, which included some medical staff and colleagues after a pleasant day enjoying the hotel's amenities. This context suggests that the restaurant management should value our business, particularly as the establishment was nearly empty, and we noticed others entering in mini dresses and sandals who were readily accommodated. Nonetheless, we were denied seating in the patio's casual area, which I found to be entirely discriminatory. Over the years during the Scarpetta period, I have dined here frequently and continue to dine here, looking forward to our many enjoyable experiences and contributing substantial amounts financially until this current management took charge. The manager's behavior, marked by unprofessionalism and discrimination, warrants his dismissal.

Melissa G.

Yelp
Amazing food and drinks! Easily the best meal I've had this year. The shrimp appetizer, spicy vodka pasta and the affrogato dessert were my favorite dishes.

Jay L.

Yelp
Today was opening day of the restaurant so I hope they learn. First, I sat at the bar for dinner and the service was exceptional. Great bartenders who made the experience of eating alone enjoyable. My issue was the food and the manager. I ordered the veal Valdostana. A bone in veal chop that is one of my favorites. I splurged for an $88 meal as it was my birthday. The dish was ok. Not great. But as I got to the meat around the bone it was raw. Not rare but raw. I'm front of 3 bartenders I had to spit out the last bite. That's not ok. The bartender saw me, looked at the meat and apologized and took the plate back to show the chef. The manager came out and told me in order "to have the presentation that way it would be more rare by the bone". I told him I eat veal chops all the time and that the rare part around the bone is the best part but this was raw and gross. He again mentioned "the presentation" and apologized for ruining my around the bone experience. He was smug and dismissive. I've never had to spit out raw meat before. Especially not an $88 piece of meat. I wasn't asking for a free meal but to make it seem like this was normal and I was out of line for being disgusted ruined my experience. This place is mediocre and massively over priced. If I'm going to pay $207 for a salad, entree and 2 makers marks the food better be a whole lot better. The attitude of the chef and manager on opening night should also be better. It's ok to have some learning curve day one but a little humility wouldn't hurt. If even 10% of diners who eat this have to spit out even the last bite of their food this place will go out of business quickly.

Kai L.

Yelp
Food, Service, Ambiance... 5 stars. Gil was great at recommending foods to try and had a sense of humor. Seems like everyone there was a team player so you can tell the place was well managed
google avatar

Kevin L.

Yelp
Very disappointing birthday dining experience for my mother in law. Hostess confirmed reservation showed a bday. $500 later... No mention to her of Happy Birthday, no cake, no candles in our desserts. Nada. I can experience a basic dining experience elsewhere cheaper. #annoyed

Matthew B.

Yelp
Amazing service. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. The food was phenomenal, Chef Paul Keyser has ruined meatballs for me as you won't find anything comparable anywhere else. A truly great experience.

Yelp
We had such a lovely time at Mirabella! Highly recommend! Everything was spectacular, from the ambiance, the service, the Sommelier, the Management to the Chefs. Milica (Millie) was our server. She explained every menu item to us in detail, provided recommendations, answered our questions, and we were served by more friendly staff promptly. Our Sommelier, Darko, offered us "bubbles" from the start and recommended a delicious bottle of red. The food was unbelievable! We ordered the works, eggplant and tuna for appetizers, a spicy pasta, grouper, roasted chicken, to name a few, all to share...and the desserts, oh my..cheesecake, chocolate cake and a sundae. We met one of the chefs, Chef Paul and the manager, Bret. They were all very hospitable and friendly. What an impeccable experience!

Emily B.

Yelp
Legit horrible service bruh ... 30 mins for drinks...they came after dinner table next to us had same server and he visited them multiple times before glancing at me tbh

Fallon B.

Yelp
Had dinner here for 2 for my cousins 40th bday as it was our last night in Miami. Mirabella is inside of the Fountainebleau hotel. We sat outside on the patio where the yellow and white umbrellas were. Lesia M was our server. Very kind, very professional, very pleasant. We had a Aperol Spritz, the Fritto Misto, Red Snapper and the Gnochetti. All were good and delicous! As we're sitting talking, someone flicks a cigarette bud over the balcony right above us. Ashes flying over our waters, hitting my phone and landing on my cousins plate. Luckily she was done eating. Looked up at the balcony and of course, the guy that did it quickly looked away and backed away to where we couldnt see him any more. We alerted the server and she immediately got the Manager. I forgot her name but she was very apologetic and told us that they had been having issues with that happening. Apparently the owners of the condos rent them out as Air BNB. The Manager of Mirabella sent security upstairs to the unit. And security HANDLED IT! The next thing we heard was arguing/yelling and security stating how there will be zero tolerance for the behavior. Needless to say those people didnt come back out onto that balcony for at least the rest of the duration of our dinner. Manager offered several compliments on the menu, but we only took her up on a birthday dessert. As we understood that the behavior was out of their control. And I will visit again. I'll just sit inside. Giving 3 stars, because if this has been on ongoing issue, there should be some resolve.

Steve D.

Yelp
Believe the negative service reviews. Where was the manager tonight? I do not enjoy giving a bad review but after reading the reviews here and the experience I had last night I feel compelled to share what happened. The thing is the food when it eventually arrived at our table was delicious. I will say that was the only positive experience of the night and worth five stars. Service only deserves two stars. Let's break it down, there is a "service charge"of 20% automatically added to your bill. I find this to be the root cause for what we experienced. The staff knows exactly how much they will be getting. At one point during our experience last Saturday night our waiter, Gil, actually expressed that he also felt our displeasure of our meal being too long to arrive at our table. Maybe the Manager was too busy attending to Mr. Soffer's dinner party. It was sad to feel neglected as you watched the hotel's owner have all levels of the staff focus on his table. I do mean all. Within minutes of them being seated (simultaneously when our table was seated), wine was poured, bread was served, appetizers hitting the table by a parade of staff including a kitchen staff chef. Very upsetting since all we had on our table was water, for 12 minutes before our waiter reappeared. I timed it. I was against going here tonight because of the negative service reviews I read but was outvoted by the other three in my party. I was correct with my opinion. I was disappointed that our waiter chose an ill attempt at wit to explain the bad service from no bread placed on the table until after we finally ordered our meals to the acknowledged long wait to receive our food. No Manager was obviously informed because none came to the table. I love a good dining experience as anyone who reads my reviews can tell but this one fell way short for the cost. Sorry Michael but your staff needs a better training program, there was a nice crowd last night but not overwhelming by any means. One last note, REVIEW YOUR BILL before paying. We had two orders of Branzino (delicious) on the menu for $49 a dish, unfortunately it came on the bill at a cost of $69 an order! Again I highly suggest you review your bill carefully before agreeing to pay. This is a very serious issue and when we told the waiter, no Manager was informed because no one came, no real apology just a revised bill. Hate to leave a review like this but sometimes it is necessary! I really enjoy when I get that unexpected call the next day from a restaurant manager regarding my experience the night before. It shows how important it is to them for immediate feedback from customers. Still waiting on that call from here!

Carlo P.

Yelp
I don't normally write reviews but this experience called for one! The service was outstanding, down to the core. We were even checked on by the food and beverage director. Now, the food? The food! I won't tell you much more because you just need to try it for yourself! You will be pleasantly surprised! And to top it off, the ambiance was amazing! Beautiful place! I think Frank Sinatra would have absolutely loved this place! Thank you!
