"This pop-up bar takes over Tapa Tapa in Midtown the day after Thanksgiving. It’s open Wednesday-Sunday from 5pm-12am. Since they don’t take reservations, plan on getting there early or you’ll be waiting for a seat. But with cookie plates, fun souvenir mugs (like a Dino Claus cup), and plenty of holiday bops from Mariah to Gucci Mane, the bar is well worth the wait." - juli horsford, jacinta howard
"The Miracle Bar pops up again in the Midtown Promenade shopping center this holiday season. Find all the familiar cheer with an explosion of lights, overload of decorations, and a soft guarantee that the DJ will play several Christmas songs from Gucci Mane and Mariah’s “All I Want For Christmas” twice at minimum. But even if we miss the East Atlanta Santa set, we’re here for the cookie plate with dippable frosting and the Snowball Old Fashioned made with a little gingerbread spice and a giant sphere of ice (dropping some holiday bars, Gucci would be proud). Atlanta’s original holiday bar includes floor-to-ceiling decorations and lights, seasonal and Christmas movie-themed cocktails, and celebratory light bites and cookies. "The Miracle bars are back for a fourth year in Atlanta, and that includes at the original spot inside Tapa Tapa at the Midtown Promenade. See the tapas bar made-over from top to bottom with miles of multi-colored string lights, Christmas trees, gingerbread houses, and plenty of holiday kitsch for the season. Sip on drinks like the ode to “Die Hard” called Yippie Ki Yay Mother F****r! made with two kinds of rum, cachaça, and marshmallow orgeat or a yuletide take on the Moscow mule. Cocktails come served in Santa mugs, holiday highballs, and rocks glasses adorned with reindeers. Open November 25 through December 31. Hours: Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday, 5 p.m. to 12 a.m.; Friday and Saturday, 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. First come, first served. 21+" - Beth McKibben
