Yelp
Sorry, idk why this place is rated so highly.
It's pretty to look at, but really nothing to rave about.
I really expected more considering the "award winning" label at the door, but I wish I went to the other one across the street.
Here we go,
FOOD:
Mirakutei Roll -
These were some CHONKY fish pieces, which I loved.
Rice was bland as if there were no vinegar/seasoning & it was a little bloated rather than sticky.
Overall, no flavor.
Sapporo Ramen -
Noodles were nice, I like the chew to it.
Sliced white onions & bean sprouts?
Definitely different... these belong more in pho tbh.
Broth? It was alright, not too memorable.
Chashu? Ya'll can keep it. It was. THICC and DRY and CHEWY. Zero flavor and it took so much effort to bite a piece off.
Tonkotsu Ramen -
Spicy had a kick. A good kick. The broth was a little better in this one and the ingredients made a little more sense.
But again, THE CHASHU...
Also the egg was cooked so nicely but it was literally so bland it didn't make sense... because it was brown on the outside... meaning it should've been marinated???? Idk.
AMBIENCE:
Clean. That's all I got. It's a nice spot.
SERVICE:
I think they kinda forgot about our table.
We didn't get water, plates, condiments... we didn't even get to order lol and it wasn't even busy.
I think they were about to start a meeting or something cause that's when the girl noticed & then they all did the "" and you could see the "oh sh*t" and then the sprinting LMAO.
Honestly, that part was whatever.
I've been on both sides.
It definitely wasn't on purpose, but it also didn't make the experience better.
I'd just be more careful :/
I'm sure the staff is chill.
The food just wasn't it for us.
PRICE:
Two bowls + one roll = almost $60
