We visited Mirko Pasta early on a Saturday evening. The interior is inviting and they have great patio seating. We sat inside and were promptly seated. We enjoyed the bread and marinara that was served prior to the meal. We ordered a side Caesar salad to share. Unfortunately, it never came, so we asked the waitress just to take it off of our bill. Our appetizer was the calamari, and we enjoyed it. It is also served with fried zucchini, which I liked. My husband ordered fettuccine Alfredo with sausage for his meal. The pasta he was served was pappardelle, not fettuccine, but it all tasted good, so he was happy. I ordered bucatini with pink sauce and shrimp. The pink sauce is supposed to be a mix of Alfredo and red sauce, but it had very little flavor despite adding parmesan and salt. I took some of the sauce from the appetizer and added it to my pasta to help it along. I had added shrimp for $5, and only received 5 shrimp. These shrimp also still had the tail on, so I had to reach into my pasta and pick them up in order to be able to eat them. I was not very satisfied with my meal. Our server was great, though, and brought us what we needed and kept our drinks full, which I always appreciate. When we received the bill the total was near $70 before tip. I feel this is overpriced for what we received, so, unfortunately, we don't plan to return to Mirko.
