This is a beautiful area in San Antonio. We enjoyed the Yanaguana Festival Hosted by American Indians In Texas at the Spanish Colonial Mission Marquee. My daughter and grandchildren had a blast as there were wonderful events vendors and

Amazing place you had no idea was here. You can bring a lawn chair and enjoy great films or watch film festivals. Plenty of vendors and concessions for food and drinks. The bathrooms are clean and the staff are friendly. Take your kids and have a great time.

while i am grateful something like this exists and the area has been cleaned up and renovated, because it’s free and open to the public, the public ruined my experience so i didn’t get to enjoy the movie. i visited with my 2 well behaved, people/dog friendly dogs to enjoy a nice night out however to ensure my dogs safety, my safety and the safety/comfort of others, i put my blanket we were sitting on far away from others so that nobody felt uncomfortable or bothered by us. certain people lack social cues and a elderly gentleman, despite plenty of open areas with a clear view of the screen being available put his blanket within arms reach of mine and sat right next to us and proceeded to answer a phone call and spoke LOUDLY as soon as the movie started. the main issue i encountered however were 2 stray puppies running around with unsupervised children, even whilst the movie was playing. these unsupervised children not only continued to run in front of me AND through other families trying to watch the movie, but they kept coaxing these stray puppies to come up to me and my dogs so that the dogs could “be friends”. after the 4th time these children brought these stray puppies up to me and my dogs and me politely telling them “my dogs are trying to watch the movie and not make friends right now, can you please take them away” i packed up my belongings and my dogs and decided to just go home. during this entire time, 3 security officers for the plaza were standing a few feet away from me gossiping amongst each other next to the entrance to the restroom. it’s truly a shame i didn’t have a good experience at the plaza and i hope others have a better experience than i did.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. We watched the movie Wicked and the entire time the movie cut out, blacked out and at one point we started the movie over. The only important part of the movie was the ending and we could barely watch it because of how crappy the sound system and projector were. The video cut out every 10 seconds. Definitely never coming back again.

Great place to watch a movie, I took my family there had a blast place was clean. The crew working over there kept the place organized. "Dream place" teen band started the show. Especially with all this heat there was a nice breeze going. No BUGS big plus for my wife & kids. All vendors kept there area clean also. The only thing is it ran a little late but it's a free movie no reason to complain.

First time here. Came to get a free fruit tree that the City of San Antonio was giving away. It also host a Farmers Market from March through November. They have a drive thru theater where they play movies. Great place to bring your family. There is free parking too. If there is any event , best to come early.

Yelp
Went to their farmers market, it's a nice open space not crowded. They have lots of events that I plan on going to. Very clean, friendly vendors.

Yelp
Mission Drive-In is alive and well. Went by there today and it have been all renovated and painted and looks really great. They have some first run movies playing this weekend.

Yelp
This drive in theater looks so beautiful, and after doing a lot of poking around on the Internet, it seems as though it's been closed recently due to vandalism. I drove by when I was in town last weekend, and it seems like it hasn't been closed too long. All the windows are smashed in and the door has been busted open. How sad. I wish I could have gone to a drive-in movie.

Yelp
Man I miss the Mission! My husband and kids had never been to a drive-in before. Never even knew they exsisted! I'm just greatful that I was able to go with them at least once just before it closed. It was a very sad day when Mission closed. Granted the food wasn't the greatest, but what theatre food is? LOL But it was soooo much fun to sit in the back of a truck, car, or van.... or role out a blanket to sit on... kick back, enjoy the night air... and a great movie. ::chants:: REOPEN THE DRIVE-IN! lol

Yelp
This place is not closed.. They have family movies every Saturday nights.. Its cool.. We have passed by and you see families with their children laying on blankets and sitting in chairs. Yelp needs to review this place again....I recommend this place.. Were going on the Sept 26th to see the Guardians of the Galaxy

Yelp
It was a place to go to and still have family time...no matter how young or old...it was always nice to have everyone together enjoying a great movie along with great snacks...to be taken away by some appreciative vandalizing kids or teens..after all the work and money put into it by its owner...some people just didn't give a dam...that's sad!!!
