Supermarket chain offering Japanese groceries, plus cosmetics, appliances & housewares.
"Famous for its Japanese market, frequented by Matthew Kang." - Eater Staff
"Founded in 1998, Mitsuwa Marketplace is an excellent Japanese supermarket with 11 locations across the country, six of which are here in Southern California. That said, to call Mitsuwa merely a supermarket is underselling it. Along with an astounding array of Japanese dried goods, sauces, meats, and pre-packaged sushi boxes, you’ll also find bookstores, cosmetic counters, and an entirely separate food court with stalls selling everything from Japanese donuts to some of the best ramen in LA." - Brant Cox, Sylvio Martins, Kat Hong

"Mitsuwa in Torrance's Del Amo Mall features a modernized Japanese food court. Initially opened at the end of February with limited vendors, it now has a fully operational food court, including Tsukiji Gindaco, Sutadon, Santouka, Modo Donuts, Misasa, Mugimaru/Toritetsu, J.Sweets, and Hamada-ya Bakery. The venue offers a semi-covered outdoor dining area due to indoor dining restrictions. Mitsuwa is known for its affordable Japanese fast food and prepared items like sushi and sashimi. Specials, including discounted items and giveaways, were held on September 26 and 27." - Matthew Kang
