Such a great spot! Ideal for a date or a family gathering. The space was Elegant but comfortable, Our waitresses were warm but professional, and the food was exceptional. Elevated takes on classic dishes and all still approachable and cooked to perfection. Nice wine selection too, and all at reasonable prices. Worth the walk along the river from Cambridge!

The restaurant is a hidden gem! The food was superb and the staff were lovely. Every single dish on the tasting menu was delicious. I also thought the prices were quite reasonable. Perfect for a birthday celebration. Cannot wait to go back.

The most charming, wonderful little place. But the food is really next level. We couldn't have enjoyed it more. Bib gourmand kind of food, but obviously done by someone who knows how to deliver at even higher levels. Precisely what we wanted.

Heard great things about the restaurant from friends, so took the opportunity to try it with a new colleague and his wife. Exceptionally friendly service, very creative food, and modest portion sizes meant we could enjoy the completed tasting menu and not feel overly full at the end. The matching flight of wine was excellently paired with the food. Quality of food was outstanding, unusual variations on standard themes.

We came for lunch with my father, who had recently had a stroke. The staff were particularly warm and hospitable, without ever fussing. The food was excellent. We had a wonderful time. Highly recommended.

Delicious drink and good service, perhaps waited a little long between courses. Nice pub with high end restaurant prices. Interesting food, although perhaps style over substance on some occasions - fish was exceptional though. Small plates really are small and not really suitable for sharing which we weren't advised - next time I would order a small plate for a starter and a large late for a main with sides to share. Delightful meal though and nice to be able to try lots of different things. Should have left feeling more full considering we had 8 courses!! Would def go back but order differently

Excellent sunday roast. My roast beef is by the far the best in Cambridge, tender and not fatty. Potatoes are cooked perfectly; soft inside but crispy. My partner has been dreaming about his lamb loin, just melt in his mouth. Thank so much.

What an amazing evening! We went for dinner with some friends, and had a lovely time. You get all the attention to detail and exciting flavour combinations of fine dining, but without the fussiness or eye watering bill at the end. The service was top class, and the tasting menu was varied and well paced - the picanha steak and the chocolate mousse were two highlights, but it was all gorgeous. It's brilliant that you can get this level of cooking in a jeans-and-a-nice top kind of relaxed atmosphere. We'll be back, with the family next time!
