The Best Things We Ate This Month - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"I finally got to try Heirloom Market BBQ, and it did not disappoint. And while the smoked meats live up to the hype (they made our best barbecue guide), what I love most about this tiny takeout joint is their side of mac and cheese. A small bowl is filled to the brim with a pile of cheesy shell noodles. The large shells, tilted on their sides, provide little pockets where excess cheese can gather. And it's hard to eat the entire bowl without having at least one epic cheese pull as cheese clings to the shells and your fork simultaneously. This is a contender for best mac and cheese in the A."—Juli Horsford, staff writer" - nina reeder, juli horsford, demarco williams, jacinta howard

Google
One of the best option at this place! They make the Mac and cheese WITH SO MUCH LOVE! Tbh, I was looking to eat something that didn't blew up my stomach because I have eaten tons of stuff yesterday and today too.

Google
There are so many food options at Quincy Market, it's really hard to pick one. Everything looks and smells fantastic, and on my very first visit there with my (New England native) partner, I was overwhelmed with options. But this Mac and cheese place caught my eye when I saw them making the Mac and cheese to order in a pan and it just looked so gooey and delicious. So I tried the bacon Mac and cheese and ooooh my gooooosh was it fantastic. My partner said it was amazing as well, we both loved it. 10/10 Mac and cheese. I got a small portion but it was more than enough for fill me up, I even had a bit left over. Highly recommend, they have tons of options for flavors too!

Dana Elm

Google
Delicious and creamy!! We got the buffalo chicken, yum! So fresh, being cooked in front of you.

Ken Kingston

Google
16 dollars for this. Worst food ever. New customer and last time customer. Pure thrash. Why would you let this leave your building. I like to try new local businesses, but the quickly realize why you all go out of business. Be embarrassed by what served me. Hope your new year is better than my meal.

Google
Good mac and cheese options with different variants, but price a little high!

Google
I got the small Boston seafood Mac n cheese it was so good. The small is a good size for two people to share. It was nice it was made to order so you know the cheese isn't going to be dried out. Definitely a must get if visiting Boston.

Google
Ordered a Grilled Cheese with ham and tomato. It was delicious. Packed with hame and CHERRY TOMOTOES. Highly enjoyed. Price was reasonable for Quincy Market. The fries were fresh cut from the stall next door. Perfect.

Tammie

Google
I haven't been in a few years, but had their mac and cheese and tomato soup, since then, I like to pair those two together. I'm happy to know the place is doing well, hope to go agaib soon, been long over do!

Yelp
Awesome food. Awesome service. Prices are reasonable. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone

Yelp
It somehow came straight from the pan but tasted cold. The use American slices of cheese so it melts and then congeals pretty fast. Also the toppings which you get charged a lot for (I only got the one with peppers and onions-added a lot to the cost of basic mac) are minimal portions. Yeah portion sizes are large but it was hard to eat with overcooked pasta and congealed slices of cheese. And for $20 you can def sit down somewhere-I was just in a rush for work. Sitting in fanuiel is tough but there was plenty of nice benches outside.

Yelp
For being in a super touristy spot such as Faneuil Hall and having a plethora of options, this place will be suitable to meeting your Mac and cheese needs. Though a bit overpriced and very overwhelming to go through--this place felt like a decent option to fulfill our lobster Mac needs. While I wouldn't say this is a "must-try" in Boston, you can't go wrong with ordering the stuff here (unless you're balling on a budget)
google avatar

Yelp
Piping hot and creamy mac and cheese. It's a pretty big portion even if you get the small! I enjoyed the cheeseburger mac and cheese. They have a wide variety of flavors.

Yelp
This establihment is located in Quincy Market in Faneuil Hall. The food is made to order. There is a glass which allows you see you the preparation of the food. Thks establishment offers a variety of Mac and cheese with varies fixings. I ordered a large classic Mac n cheese for $14.50. The price point have doubled over the years. The Mac n cheese was cheesy and pasta was cooked perfectly. This dish required salt and pepper to bring it to another level. The staff were nice! Great place to grab a quick bite.

Yelp
pretty good overall. it was cool to watch it being prepared in front of you. flavor was good and amount for value was there.
google avatar

Shari D.

Yelp
Made right in front of you is this very cheesey $15 Mac and cheese. Good amount and very tasty.

Yelp
This is the best place to eat in the Quincey market, hands down. The food is incredible and made-to-order fresh in front of you. Pictured here is the plain mac, but I've had both the grilled chicken Mac and the Lobster Mac and they're both fantastic with tender, high quality protein. This place is a must-eat for me on a trip to Boston. The service is also pretty quick given that food is made-to-order.

Yelp
Located within the bustling Quincy Market, MMMac and Cheese is a standout eatery in a sea of mediocre, touristy choices. During my recent visit, I tried their Classic mac and cheese and I must say, it was a really great. Their dishes are made right in front of you and it was sheer torture to be hungry and see all of that Mac and Cheese goodness behind made the plexiglass. It took about 15 minutes for us to be served, admittedly a little long. As I eagerly awaited my food, the enticing aroma of creamy cheese filled the air and it was heavenly. Once we got our food and got ourselves seated upstairs, the first bite was pure bliss. The mac and cheese was rich, creamy, and perfectly cooked. The cheese was velvety and had a distinct, robust flavor. It was comfort food at its finest. Having sampled quite a few offerings in the market, I can confidently say that MMMac and Cheese was the best of the bunch. Four stars. Nicely done!
google avatar

Kerri C.

Yelp
This is a solid lunch spot. A bit pricy, but it's in a touristy section Boston and the portion itself was decent. I got the (small) cheeseburger mac and it was plenty of food. The cheese itself had a good flavor, though the meat was a bit bland. It was awesome how they put the ingredients in a pan and cooked it on the stove right in front of you!
google avatar

Julia M.

Yelp
Sometimes, you just can't beat a comforting bowl of Mac and cheese. My husband and I stopped in on our last day in Boston and ordered the classic American Mac to share. They cook your order right in front of you and aren't skimpy on the noodles. The sauce was balanced well, being creamy but not overwhelmingly cheesy. Overall, really enjoyed it for a quick lunch. Service was fast and personable - we took it outside to enjoy as the vibe indoors was a little chaotic!

Yelp
So delicious, cheesy and sinful i Ordered small portion which is still quite alot for just myself. I guess if I hadn't eaten all day I could finish it, but just knowing how its made and calories kinda keeps me in check. But, if you don't care about all that, this is really good, go for it! First time we got the seafood which had imitation crab, lobster and shrimp. That was good with some added hot sauce, we had to wait 8 mins that time and I'm not sure why because the second time we'd been there, we got the Italian which has pesto and tomatoes, we stayed and watched it being cooked, and it was really fast. Its made to order and so its really hot when you get it, and stays warm enough for the time to get back to the hotel. Both times we took it away because it was dinner and we wanted to relax and eat. Definitely check it out if you love Mac and cheese. I don't think you'll be disappointed
google avatar

Yelp
The sell Mac and cheese and grill cheese sandwich. Every time I go, I get the Italian Mac. It's the best Mac and cheese I have ever had.
google avatar

Carla L.

Yelp
This is a nice place for mac and cheese lovers. They have a variety of offering to customize your mac. Reasonably priced for the portion size and the service was quick. Not a bad bite.
google avatar

Anna K.

Yelp
We got the lobster melt and pesto. Lobster is not fresh. Everything is mediocre. Also did not have tomato soup - how do you not have tomato soup?
google avatar

Dipali G.

Yelp
So slow and the food is not worth it! They had a huge backlog of people waiting for their food with many empty burners. It seems like they want to artificially have a line. The food is also not good - the Mac n cheese was not special or worth the wait
google avatar

Janet A.

Yelp
Best Mac and cheese. I'm from LA and I crave it all the time. There is nothing as tasty as mmMac and Cheese!

Colin B.

Yelp
I've lived in the Boston area my entire life. I know the city pretty well. My experiences from when I was younger was more positive. I remember how they used to make the mac and cheese right in front of you. They definitely have started using much cheaper quality cheese. And I definitely did not think the meats looked safe. My friend I was with, said the chicken definitely tasted a little off. I'd like to add we were here on a busy Saturday, because of his work schedule and we thought it'd be nice to check out some of the places we used to hang out at. It was packed. So many people. I've never seen this many people even in the summer. People working were polite despite the heat and the lunch rush. But I will say standards have significantly dropped, and prices are now pretty insane. Faneuil Hall is definitely more of a tourist spot now in the last few years. And the downsides of tourism definitely show. We did not finish our 22 dollar mac and cheese. It tastes exactly like KFC mac and cheese
google avatar

Yelp
Yummy!! My classic American Mac and cheese came out quickly and hot. They cook it right in front of you at the kiosk. Great noodle to cheese ratio. Employees were friendly and quick to get my order, line moved fast. I loved this Mac and cheese and would be happy to come back to get some more!!

Mary G.

Yelp
Horrible service- I ordered an Italian grilled cheese - didn't notice on the ticket until picked up. The refused to change or refund insisting I order Mac and cheeses.
google avatar

Yelp
We tried MMMac & Cheese when visiting Faneuil Hall. We didn't have high expectations but were pleasantly surprised with the quality and taste of their mac & cheese. They offer a number of menu options that seem interesting. We ended up going for the Classic American Mac which is basically a blend of cheddar cheeses. The good thing is they made the mac and cheese fresh. It isn't prepared beforehand and just warmed up. They make the cheese blend fresh and then mix in the shells/pasta. This seems basic, but was nice given some of the other experiences we had at Faneuil. The portion is also pretty good with the small being a solid portion size. Overall, his was one of the better options we sampled at Faneuil and would definitely recommend it if you're into mac and cheese.

Yelp
It's very rare for me to give one star reviews. Usually I'm very open minded but there is definitely a problem here. When the establishment specializes in one particular dish and they can't get that right then we need to shed light on the situation. Upon arrival this food colonnade looks mighty attractive. For less than $10 you can grab yourself a classic American mac and cheese. Maybe I'm being to harsh but when the m&c is Luke warm and it's chewy like it came out of a Kraft ready to go box there is some serious issues here. Not sure if it was an off day but damn not good at all, my only other advise is to ask for a sample? In my opinion this food hall is a TOURIST TRAP, terrible quality. Left a bad taste in my mouth not sure if I can come back and for sure not recommending this place.
google avatar

Yelp
MM Mac n Cheese @faneuilhall home made mac and cheese #macandcheese yum! my son loved it. we watched as they gave birth to the mac and cheese
google avatar

Bruce K.

Yelp
It's not baked but rather pan melted and mixed to order. That's okay because the cheesy goodness is there even if the crusty top you might get from a baked pan of mac&cheese is not. The cheese and toppings are prepared right there in front of you so that you can see what goes into it. Fresh shredded cheese, a few slices of cheese and a ladled scoop of hot cheese into the pan until it's melty, then your toppings are added and mixed through with another scoop of fresh al dente noodles. It doesn't take long until it's boxed up and ready to go. I chose the Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese and it of course included a bunch of shredded cheese with a healthy squirt of Tabasco-looking 'Buffalo sauce' before it was finished and then all of this was scooped into the cardboard container to go. Tasty stuff! Warning: The large size is enough for two.
google avatar

Josh R.

Yelp
Nearly 5 stars, as they make the cheese sauce right in front of you (instead of have everything premade). Only reason 4 stars is the pasta quality could be more al dente, and maybe broil it with some breadcrumbs after? Otherwise it was tasty, and good portion

Yelp
My human and I were craving mac and cheese and decided to stop by this location in Faneuil Hall for a freshly made option during around 1pm during the week. An important item to note is that this is not baked mac and cheese, but made in a pan in front of you (something to keep in mind for out of towners and baked mac enthusiasts). My human ordered the classic mac with tomatoes and I ordered the classic mac with ham. Classic American mac with tomatoes: It is pretty good but not the best my human has ever eaten. It is nice that it is warm and freshly made, especially when the sauce thickens a little but still stays edible. Ordering the small size was more than enough. She does wish she had added more toppings as the cheese gets a little tiring once you start getting to the bottom. Classic American mac with ham: Same opinion as the mac with tomatoes. Only difference is I wish they cooked the ham a little more before throwing the cheese sauce in to add crispiness to the meat. Overall, this place is great for a quick pic me up meal and can tide you over for lunch. If you loooove a thicc sauce with your mac and cheese, this place is for you! If you're more of a breadcrumb on top with a little crispiness added to the pasta person, you should probably bring your own panko and call it a day.

Yelp
Cheesy, cheesy, goodness...that's simply what you get here at MMMac & Cheese! I ordered the chicken mac and cheese and after waiting 7 long, grueling minutes watching them make it for you, my SO and I devoured it. The aroma of cheese just radiated through the little brown box they package it in for you, and that first whiff when you open it is telling enough that you're going to love it. The pasta blended very well so there were amazing cheese pulls with every forkful we took. However, the chicken could have used a bit more seasoning. It wasn't bland but it wasn't blowing us away, we agreed that in the future the buffalo chicken would be the way to go. But all in all, the mac and cheese served here is on point. After a long day of sightseeing, this really hits the spot and is very affordable as well.
google avatar

Damien S.

Yelp
I guess if I was asked "what would make you wait almost 40 minutes for $13 mac & cheese?" the answer would be: put every meat imaginable and a thousand cheeses in it. Still, the Super was only okay. Mostly an American slice-reenforced bechamel tossed with ho-hum pasta and slopped into a waxed carton, the hefty portion is two meals' worth... unless you're feeding a bottomless pit undergrad who barely lets you steal a bite. I did, though, and Mitchell was nonethewiser. Wife's signature blend with bacon had limp, undercooked hunks of pork, barely adding anything to the dish. The pasta is ultra-cheesy, but the wait's ridiculous. Be mindful if you go during meal pops, even if it only seems there are 2-3 people in front of you.

Yelp
We stopped here for lunch and it was like I was in heaven. I absolutely love Mac n cheese and having this many choices took me forever to decide. The Mac n cheese here is not baked. They put it on a pan in front of you and you watch them cook it up. The experience is pretty cool watching them do this, but there are so many people and the place is very small so not a ton of room to watch. I decided to get the buffalo chicken Mac. I honestly wish I would've stuck with just the regular sauce. After awhile, the buffalo sauce started to get old and I was wishing I would've stuck with the original cheese sauce. However, I'm not going to dock my review down to a three just because of my choice. If I would go back again I would definitely choose the ham Mac or the classic Mac. A picture of the menu is listed below in case you want to see what they have before you go! Definitely would give this place a try though! Cool experience!

Yelp
absolute favorite spot to eat near the harbor, i don't like seafood much so this place is perfect for me
google avatar

Stephanie K.

Yelp
Great bowl of Mac and cheese inside Quincy Market. The large size is substantially larger for only a buck more, but the small was big enough for us. That way we can try lots of things in Quincy Market instead of one or two larger items. The Mac and cheese is mainly pre-sliced American, which you can clearly see when they are making I right then and there. Great spot to hit up while walking through Quincy Market. They also have a lot of different flavors to add such as crab and bacon.
google avatar

Thida P.

Yelp
The line was a little confusing but just make sure you're standing behind the people who are standing in front of the register. Once you order, move aside so that others can put in their orders. I got the large Seafood Mac and Cheese and they gave a pretty good portion. I ate half and saved the left overs for the next day. Not bad for about $16. You get to watch them make it right in front of you so you know when yours is ready. Definitely didn't take long, maybe 10 minutes wait. It tasted good but I've had better which is why I only gave it three stars. They had a lot of other things on the menu which I might try the next time I'm in the area.
google avatar

Yara F.

Yelp
Honestly any mac n cheese here is absolutely amazing, they put like 4 different cheeses in it and it's just so creamy and delicious. The Italian and the Buffalo chicken are my fav. Straight up comfort food that is definitely not the healthiest for you but sometimes you just gotta go for it. There are obviously a ton of options in Quincy market, but not all of them taste as good as they look....this place tastes just as good if not BETTER than it looks.
google avatar

Victoria K.

Yelp
For what it's worth, I usually prefer my mac and cheese baked with a crunchy topping. While perusing the options at Quincy Market, and tasting a sample at MMMac & Cheese, I decided to try this spot out for my lunch fix. The line was longer than at some of the other stands. Not only is it more popular than some, but each mac and cheese is made to order in a skillet. I was happy to see mine come together, and knew that even though parts of it (what looked like a thin Bechamel of sorts) were made in advance, the rest of it was made just for me. I decided to try the Buffalo chicken mac and cheese. It wasn't remotely better than the version I make, but it was pretty satisfying nonetheless. I felt the pasta itself was a bit overcooked and lacked structure. It just kind of fell apart as I started to dig into my food. I really prefer al dente, and I know most people do too. Otherwise, I was pleased with the food and the price wasn't so bad either. I got a small (plenty filling) mac and cheese with a bottled water for under $10. I wouldn't go out of my way to satisfy a mac and cheese craving here, but I would, however, eat here again when looking for good eats at Quincy Market. It's a pretty solid option. I'd say 3 1/2 stars... not quite 4 though.

Yelp
Quincy Market had A LOT of options and each restaurant should feel lucky whenever they get a customer considering how much variety there is. I've been to Quincy Market when I was little, and now that I'm older I was able to pick where I wanted to eat and I love mac n' cheese, so this was an obvious choice. There was a little bit of a line (which was a good sign), and when I got to the front I ordered the traditional. The food came out relatively fast considering that the mac was in a heated container and came in a box carton. The mac was still hot once I finally found a table, and I was ready to dig in. Looking back at it now, I wish I would've ordered a flavored mac that came with mushrooms, or tomatoes, because a huge plate of plain mac and cheese was a little boring. It wasn't horrible, it just felt like something I would order at a Mimi's Cafe, or BJ's (restaurants that do not specialize in one product). If I do ever find myself back in Boston, I may want to give MMMac and Cheese another go and order a different product. There isn't much I can say about customer service considering its "food court" style, so my review only includes the quality of the food. A-OK mac earns a 3 star rating.

Yelp
O MMM G! This MMMac & Cheese was the creamiest, cheesiest and freshest macaroni & cheese I've ever had. The line was really long but it went fast and was definitely worth every minute of waiting. Line up and step aside while you wait and watch the magic happen. The guys tossing the mac know what they are doing. It's nice to watch your specific order come to life! Exceptionally wonderful! I dream of this taste often.

Yelp
Awesome lobster mac&cheese. Cook was very friendly and entertaining. Highly recommend this place

Yelp
In a long strip of restaurants with no close seating (technically all the seating is in the middle or along the outside/back areas of some of the places) it is easy to miss this place and many others. We must have walked this strip in the hall just looking at all the food five or six times during our trip here. You order at the register and people are also waiting for their food very close to the register so it can be hard to tell where to order and wait and so on. Just pay attention, you'll do great. Because it is cramped and so busy at this place and just in that area in general you can expect to wait a few minutes to place an order and a little longer to actually get it. However, they only have a handful of skillets and they cook everything up as you order it from a few pre-made pieces of food. We were there at 12:30 and eating within fifteen minutes so it wasn't terrible for us. We got the seafood and cheeseburger macs. Seafood was great, pasta for us was perfectly cooked and big so it just combines great with the cheese. Seafood chunks were generous and the lobster worked so well with the buttery creaminess of the sauce. Shrimp and crab were not as well mixed in but it was still ok, didn't expect it to blend as well as it did altogether. The sauce is pretty thick and I mean you would not expect the level of cheese these guys bring to the table. So many cheeses get tossed into that skillet it's awesome. Cheeseburger was arguably a little better I thought. Simple and just creamy the meat is a good offset to all that cheese and mac. The sauce base they use is very cheddary but they throw parmesan and mozzarella into the mix as well which cuts it back and creams it up. It is so gooey and right before they box it up for you they throw in another handful of mozzarella to top it off. We paid $24 for 2 smalls. We should have just split one because we both had leftovers. The portion size is huge and the level of cheese so high it is almost overwhelming. TL;DR: If you love, or even like, mac and cheese this is must.
google avatar

Eva H.

Yelp
I waited around 10 minutes for my order and it was well worth it. This bowl of warm, cheesey and creamy mac and cheese was so comforting and yummy! I got a small veggie mac and had leftovers for another meal. Great spot for some quick comfort food if you are in the Quincy Market area

Joseph M.

Yelp
Large selection and easily customized Ordered the shrimp scampi sauce but forgot to order the shrimp... Lol
google avatar

Sam T.

Yelp
Before today, I hadn't realized I had gone here for a meal before. Their Mac N Cheese is only ok. Though creamy and pretty delicious, the fact that they use, what looks like, pre sliced American cheese and this cheesy soup for the sauce base bothers me a bit. They cook in front of you which is great, but at no point did I see them wash the pans or utensils between the different orders. Because of that - be wary vegetarians. The prices are decent for a good sized portion and they stay busy because of their location, but honestly, venture outside of Quincy Market for your food. It's not bad Mac N Cheese, but it's not great Mac N Cheese either.

Yelp
Even though my office is in the Faneuil Hall Marketplace, there's a reason I don't frequent the food court inside Quincy Market...on my 5 minute walk I spotted: -One pair of denim shorts -4 pairs of zipperable pants-shorts -One 80s floral dress on some mother -2 tiny knapsacks (90's Monica from FRIENDS) -3 fanny packs -1 stuffed penguin in a shopping bag But alas, I read the reviews of a place called MMMac & Cheese and found the courage to brave the crowds of tourists and summer camp kids for some cheesy lunch. There's a woman workin' it in front of the counter - making the lazy phrase "mac'n'cheese" even lazier with her repetitive "mc-in-chess" samples. Of course I sampled even though I knew I was ordering from here anyway (if I didn't, she might get fired). The menu offers a variety of cheesy meals from classic to cheeseburger to BBQ Chicken. They also sell grilled cheese and salads for those who want a little more variety. I ordered the BBQ Chicken mac & cheese and watched the little chef work his magic making my order fresh - start with cheese sauce, add some chicken & BBQ sauce, add some shredded cheese, add a couple slices of cheese, toss in some mac, more shredded cheese and a drizzle of BBQ sauce. Yes folks, there are four stages of cheese additions. The first few bites were oh so delicious but eventually the cheese overwhelmed me. The BBQ taste had lost its presence once I reached the mac bowl innards and I was left with what I'd imagine the "classic" order to taste like. The portion size was huge (and it should be for a price nearing $10 - be sure to grab a coupon card from "mc-in-chess" for your visit). In the end I was left overly cheesed and overly caloric. Also, my tummy tum tum doesn't always care for things lactose so if you see a "REVIEW UPDATE" by Jeffrey H, it's probably me iPhoning from el baño.
google avatar

Sabrina H.

Yelp
Well the Mac and cheese is INCREDIBLY CHEESY. It is delicious for a few bites but after that, it kind of becomes difficult to eat because there is so much cheese in it.

Kaitlyn E.

Yelp
We came across this place when we were looking for a quick and delicious lunch. We got the seafood mac and the bacon mac; both were good, but the bacon was my personal favorite! The portions are huge and can definitely be shared between two or three people depending on how hungry you are. If you enjoy mac and cheese, then this is definitely a must-try place for you!

Yelp
like most locals, i typically only go to faneuil hall when i have family in town and we're doing the touristiki stuff. Even though its a mad house, my favorite part is all the food in Quincy market. This weekend i noticed a new kiosk: mmMac & Cheese. my first impulse "oh hell yeah!" was quickly brought down by sticker shock. $8 for a small, classic?? them's tourist prices. The owner read my dismay and called us over. "Do you live in boston?" he asked. yes.... well you get a discount. (he's trying to develop a base of local devotees, not just one-visit tourists.) ok, i'll bite. i'm a student of Mac & Cheese. i worship, adore, and study it. This stuff was good. really, really good. Its creamy mac, not baked mac. They've got a saute station set up. You order your style (classic, italian, meaty, etc.) and they throw the ingredients in a pan and make your sauce right there. Then they add the pasta and pack it up for you. it turns out that a "small" is quite a big portion, it served two of us for lunch. So with the local "VIP" discount, it cost less than $7 for two huge portions of delicious, creamy mac & cheese. i might actually go to Faneuil again just to eat there.....

Yelp
Boyfriend and I stopped here for lunch and fell in love. The food is superb. I had the veggie mac and he had the cheeseburger mac. We both opted for the bread bowl and that was a fantastic choice. Eating the bread that was deliciously soaked in the remaining cheese sauce was worth the $2. Loved it here. Can't wait to be back. Only thing that wasn't SOOO great was the wait, but that's only because they make the food right in front of you, fresh...so it's worth the extra 5 minutes.

Yelp
Had the Today's Special of seafood mac (lobster, shrimp, crab) and split it with my bf. HUGE HEAPING OF SEAFOOD. FOR THR PRICE IS WAS SOOO WORTH IT. Our portion was ideal, the cheese was great, noodles were done well. This was a hopping place with a line to receive your food, although it was fun to watch them prepare the meals. Would recommend if you are in quincy market!!

Yelp
I'm really not sure why this Yelp location is labeled as closed when their website still has this address as their current address and I just ate there about two weeks ago (they're located in the Quincy Marketplace. I decided to order a small ITALIAN MAC (fresh tomatoes, basil, American, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses). Let me just say that even though I ordered the small, I still was not able to finish it all, probably because of the heaviness of the cheese. It was indeed a decent dish, but I did encounter a few disappointments. First, when they mention basil as one of the key ingredients, I was really hoping for actual basil leaves, but instead, I think the basil was blended into the sauce (I'm assuming because the cheese sauce was partially green). In addition, the whole dish was too cheesy for my taste, which I should have suspected since the menu did mention three different types of cheeses. If you were to order this dish and can't handle too much cheese, maybe ask them to use only your top two? And maybe add more cherry tomatoes to balance out the rich flavor of the cheeses. Other than that, the wait was decent because there was a long line of hungry customers as well.

Yelp
OMG. MAC AND CHEESE. WITH LOBSTER, CRAB, AND SHRIMP?! Boston Seafood Mac and Cheese. I had only one meal in Boston where I got to pick where to dine and as soon as I saw this on the menu, I was sold. Unlike many of the other stalls in Quincy Market, this place makes the food as you order. I watched as the cook put in four types of cheese, including a creamy sauce, into a pan and then add moist curly noodles and a decent sized cup of shrimp, lobster, and crab. SO GOOD. The lobster was a bit hard to taste but the crab definitely stood out, as did the shrimp. I only wish I could have had was a bit more crab, which would have put this at a 5 star instead of a 4 star. On the negative side, I also ordered a side salad (wanted to get some vegetables) but that was poorly executed. The ingredients weren't super fresh, especially the broccoli, tomatoes, and green peppers. If you want some fresh vegetables to balance out the cheesy goodness, I'd go elsewhere.
