Portland's Most Potent Hangover Cures

"The reported restorative properties of fat, salt, spice, and carbs might be exaggerated, and for some people it will only make things worse. The other option is the opposite direction—vitamins and hydration via fresh smoothies. Moberi has locations across town, and alongside its fruit bowls (also a viable hangover cure) it offers refreshing, juicy smoothies that pack in everything the body needs to start healing from a night of booze." - Ron Scott, Alex Frane

Google
I ordered two smoothies and they were absolutely disappointing. Some of the worst smoothies I’ve ever had. One of the strawberry smoothies tasted like water. The other green smoothie was not even blended correctly, I was chewing on kale and dates. Such a horrible experience.

Google
Absolutely delicious, fresh, and filling bowls!!! Everything I’ve tried is so refreshing and makes me feel great! Ordering through their rewards app makes pickup super quick and easy! Plus you earn points and special coupons there ^-^ I tried the seasonal Mango Colada bowl and the Fresh Prince of Belair smoothie — both taste great! The size of the regular bowls is filling enough on its own! 10/10 recommend.

Google
Love the burn bowl! The ube flavor is so unique and delicious! Cant get enough of it! The place is warm and welcoming. Clean and great service! 10/10 recommend!

Google
Update: they now have a rewards program! Highly recommended signing up. I got free protein bites with my sign up. They are so good! Maybe a little addicting 😅 This shop is so cute and fun! The staff is really friendly and the cold treats are incredible! Perfect for these really hot days 🙌

Google
Service was great. The ingredients were of good quality. It was expensive but you can get a couple servings out of each bowl. Loved the gluten free granola.

My husband just got out of a successful surgery, so a beautiful walk and a delicious açaí bowl were in order while he slept. Moberi was absolutely what I needed!

Google
Delicious, healthy, DELICIOUS & HEALTHY EVEN THOUGH THERE IS SO MANY SWEET DELIGHTFUL TREATS. Mother nature gave us fruit for a reason, processed sugars are awful... Yet tasty. Moberi is my second favorite place to get acai granola fruit bowls. Great selection for build your own bowls or extras to be added to the specials. Great, healthy, smoothies. I think my favorite is the blue majik shell 💙💦 and the blue majik Chia seed pudding. I love anything with spirulina, the color and health benefits make it Majik. Coconut whip cream is also😍.

Google
I was in town visiting when I was craving something healthy and protein rich. I found Moberi and FELL IN LOVE. I love the recipes, bowls, smoothies, marketing, merchandise and the backstory I soon learned about from a local Portlandian after I gushed about how much I liked it. Moberi is my latest obsession and I really hope they open one in Seattle, I’d be there everyday. Shark Tank messed up with this one.

Yelp
Love this place and the staff are so friendly! I have been coming here for years and I love the uncle Jesse bowl!

Yelp
The reason for 4 stars... hard goji berries I'm new to Moberi, but I like açaí bowls, so decided to give it a try. Here's my feedback. Overall, nice bowl. I got the moberi bowl with a couple modifications. Their açaí, unfortunately has sugar in it, but they were able to recommend the pitaya instead, which worked out great. I also substituted coconut for strawberries. Staff was friendly and accommodating, my ONLY complaint were the goji berries, which I normally love, but these were tooth-chipping hard. I didn't want to crack a molar, so I painstakingly picked them out. But overall, a good bowl. Will have to ask them about the gojis. Tried to call but there's just a recording, no live person.

Yelp
Whenever I am craving açaí bowls, I come to Moberi. This is my first time at the Slabtown location but it has similar trendy interior to the Beaverton one. I love the squirrel symbol for this spot. We ordered the Purple Rain and Bee Free Bowl. Both bowls were packed with delicious açaí and other bases, tons of fresh fruit, and crunchy granola. I definitely want to come back to try everything on the menu!

Yelp
Love this spot! Stopped by nearby one day and saw this cute little shop nearby. Finally found the time to head in and try their bowl(s). I got their "purple rain" açaí bowl. It's topped with the perfect amount of fresh delicious fruit. I even added honey for an extra touch of sweetness. I must say, this spot has won my heart and I plan to stop by often! Friendly staff and cute little sitting area. Safe atmosphere!

Yelp
Solid mango lassi. Detailed breakdown below: **Service, 2.5/5** The woman who helped me was dry and borderline rude. It also took longer than expected to get my drink even though there was nobody else being helped. **Decor & cleanliness, 5/5** The store is super cute, bright, and has pink themes throughout -- there's also merch you can purchase! **Price & portion, 4/5** The mango lassi was smaller than I expected. **Taste, 5/5** Well blended so there were no icy chunks, and really delicious mango flavor without being too sweet or too tart -- honestly a perfect smoothie! The dash of cardamom across the top also meant that I got a whiff with each sip (strawless cup!), which was super fragrant and enjoyable but never got to the point that it was overwhelming. Overall, perfectly balanced, perfectly sweet, and hits the spot if you're looking for a healthy-ish refreshing pick me up without caffeine jitters!

Yelp
Very good! I get slightly overwhelmed everytime I go there making a decision of what to order; because everything sounds so good, and it is hard to decide! Ultimately, I know I just have to keep coming back so I can try each of the special bowls on the menu! THe location is busy on NW 23rd but it is very convenient. And, I always find street parking, and usually don't end up walking more than a block or two to get there! Very delicious and healthy, I love this spot!

Yelp
Well it's extremely sad for me to have to write this review. Suffering with Gastroparesis has been so hard for me, and this place was my saving grace if I could not eat. I would order almost every day, not exaggerating.. This sadly no longer is a place I will order from NOW that they've changed their açaí ingredients, FRESH ingredients. Please listen to your customers. You will become extinct quicker than you think trying to do profit over quality now. I walked in to get my last juice today when I overheard 4 other customers talking about how much they hate the new ingredients. None of them knew each other. Quality OVER Greed (trying to open up more locations making things "easier" for production) Anyways check out Kure or GreenLeaf instead!! They have fresh ingredients, and know what they are doing.

Yelp
I had an açaí bowl, really yummy! Friendly staff Clean place And it closes at 8 pm :)

Yelp
Loved the layer bowls that they had! The custom bowl I had was solid and the smoothie tasted good as well.

Yelp
Moberi is a favorite of ours and when we stopped in today we decided to try their Sunshine bowl (a summer special). The Uncle Jesse has been my go-to but the Sunshine bowl blows it out of the water. The combination of açaí and mango, along with kiwi and the regular fixings (banana, strawberry, agave, granola, etc.) is perfection in a bowl. I'm bummed it won't be sticking around year long but that just means we'll have to come around more often!

Yelp
My experience at Moberi!!! I had a really good experience at Moberi. I have seen several ads for it on my Instagram and I had never been there before, so I gave it a chance. I really enjoyed it. The dude at the counter was very informative and helped me and my friend pick out the perfect bowl. He talked me through all the different options. I don't remember his name. it had something to do with a city, but he had really good energy. The atmosphere was very chill and relaxing. The music at the place was also just added to the overall vibe of the place. My overall experience was immaculate.

Yelp
Company recently changed their acai formula, I believe to be nut-free. Partner and I found the new acai to be too sweet, no longer having the tartness needed to complement the sweet toppings. It was also too thick and creamy - like a vegan sorbetto. But it was the sweetness that kept me from finishing my bowl (granted, it was the very-largest size). Unfortunately, I can't justify spending so much on food I don't love, so I won't be back until they tweak the recipe..

Yelp
After a week of vacation and eating out, getting an açaí bowl was exactly what I needed. The Peanut Butter Bliss was very good! Love the ambiance and we considered buying some merch since what they offered was more unique. Cute place and yummy/refreshing food!
google avatar

Dookie G.

Yelp
Very good but way to expensive for a smoothie. I will just grab some fruit and make one at home

Raechel S.

Yelp
Shame on Moberi for the prices they charge , having one person work. So it's takes a loooong time to get food at this location. Because the poor young person working doenst know how to make order while taking them. Recommend visiting one with more staff.

Yelp
My work wanted to surprise and delight us yesterday with smoothies. We got to choose the place, so I choose Moberi, based upon other Yelpers great reviews. The entire staff was surprised and delighted. I had the Juice Springstein. It was the perfect drink on a hot summer day. My collegue had the Yoda Bowl, it seemed like it packed full of protein and could get you througha long and hard day at work. He said it was delicious. I think this is what I would I would get next time I return. We placed our order through Yelp. I was surprised at how easy and efficent it was. Our order arrived 30 minutes earlier than quoted. We were surpised and delighted a second time.

Yelp
I love my smoothies here! All the girls there are willing to make suggestions and modify certain smoothies and I'm never disappointed! Great place, clean, friendly, healthy!

Justin B.

Yelp
I've been coming here off and on for about a year and am always impressed with how clean it is and the friendliness of the employees. All the young women who work there don't always have easy customers, as I've witnessed a few times, but they are always patient and handle things with a lot of maturity. Kudos to them!!

Diana T.

Yelp
delicious smoothie I highly recommend the Great Prince of Brazil server was knowledgeable and so sweet such a bright clean little place!

Larry H.

Yelp
very affordable, great, healthy, quick and refreshing! Addy rocks! The Juice Springsteen is by far my favorite!
google avatar

Tierra H.

Yelp
I love this place! I tried this place and has fallen in love with it! You can pick a base for your açaí bowl. Granola and honey come standard on the bowl which is great because you don't have to buy it. You can choose up to four toppings for no extra charge! I got the açaí and pitaya base and it was the bomb!
google avatar

Megan L.

Yelp
Enjoyed a large rip city bowl minus the hemp. I really appreciated not only the aesthetic of the bowl/store, but also the generous amount of toppings (granola, nut butter, bananas, blueberries). The store itself is super cute. The 1 star deduction would have to be for the price ($15), which seems a bit high for an acai bowl.
google avatar

Gabi K.

Yelp
Overall: Crazy prices for pretty average bowls. Atmosphere: No indoor seating. Food: Their menu has lost all creativity. You can only choose from an açaí base or a pitaya base. The toppings was some combo of six different things and just kinda boring overall. The taste was alright. It didn't have much sweetness and was a little icy. For the price you're paying, it's not worth it. Service: Nothing much to say. Regular customer service. Not great not bad.
google avatar

Yelp
Oooo yum!! I think this is the freshest, juiciest, most refreshing smoothie I've ever enjoyed. Highly recommend
google avatar

Ada Q.

Yelp
Love the green smoothie so much! Perfect for hot summer. Fresh, sweet and healthy. Plan-based and the almond butter and dates add the texture and make it creamy but also chewy.
google avatar

Yelp
This place was pretty sweet! Got a Yelp Elite perk to try a free soft serve, so took the fam and tried both kinds! I wasn't sure what to expect from Vegan Soft Serve.... The boy liked the Vanilla Mint (with Blue Majik) the best. It was a bit too minty for me but he really liked it. My wife agreed with him. For me the Chocolate Maca was the better choice. Honestly you'd have no idea it was vegan or otherwise unusual- just tasted like yummy chocolate. Also, the employees were super fun, and they have a phone charging bike that gave the boy something fun and useful to do.
google avatar

Yuli L.

Yelp
It's getting really chilly in Portland, but since i was offered a free ice cream... The shop is located by the NW 23rd library, it's easy to spot. The decoration is minimally whimsical, and there's a bike charging station by the cashier. I ordered a soft serve swirl, which combined their chocolate and minty vanilla favors. The chocolate is not too sweet, which I like. However, the mint vanilla is so full of mint favor, it overpowered the chocolate quite a bit. I personally like both and think it tasted great combined. Otherwise it's going to be too blah or too minty, for me. Since my phone was dying, I decided to give the bike a try. As I peddled, the green light turned on and I watched my battery bar increased bit by bit. Just when I decided to peddle a bit faster to burn some of my winter fat, the seat suddenly dropped to its base level. I tried to tighten the screw by my hands, but really it's a job for a ranch. I'd have a lot of fun padding while eating my swirl, oh well! Overall. The staff was friendly and the soft serve was good. Please fix the bike so ppl can charge their phone or burn off their winter fat!

Yelp
Açaí bowl, smoothie and soft serve are healthy food, a bit pricey but if that is your itch you won't be disappointed,
google avatar

Yelp
Got the Moberi bowl and made a custom bowl with açaí, pitaya, vanilla blue chia, plus toppings. Never tried chia pudding in a bowl before and was worried it would be strange, but it was SO GOOD. I definitely recommend adding it and plan to do so moving forward whenever it's offered. Both bowls were very good!!
google avatar

Carolyn P.

Yelp
This rating is for the Cedar Mill location but I can't find it on Yelp yet. This store had the friendliest staff. Love the bowls and glad I can get one close to home!
google avatar

Danielle M.

Yelp
Delicious!!! Always, do yourself a favor and go grab something yummy from there extensive menu.
google avatar

Rosaline J.

Yelp
I love getting Moberi when I want something light. I'm honestly not the one to ask about acai bowls because Moberi is the only place I've tried, but when you want something fresh, light, and refreshing, this is the place you need to go! I've gone throughout the entire year and through the pandemic, the quality of their fruit and other ingredients has never wavered! Definitely recommend them for a quick, healthy meal / snack!
google avatar

Jenny T.

Yelp
Yum! I love a good açaí bowl so was happy when my daughter brought me here. I opted for the Bliss Bowl (which ironically was not açaí based but pitaya. DELICIOUS!! I loved the addtion of the coco nibs...the perfect texture to the smooth bowl. My husband and daugher got the sweater weather oatmeal, and both really enoyed the upscale oatmel. Shop was clean, bright and inviting and the staff was friendly. They are very environmentally conscious which is another plus in my book.
google avatar

Shadan Z.

Yelp
Delicious açaí and pitaya bowls! A little overpriced but well worth it. I got the Uncle Jesse and my friend got the Dragonbowl Z. I loved the taste of peanut butter added to the bowl. I mixed it all together and it tasted like a PB&J smoothie. The Dragonbowl Z was delicious because the pitaya base, in my opinion, is more delicious than the açaí base. They do have a lot of indoor seating and some outdoor seating for those nice sunny Portland days. A great place to stop by for a light lunch!
google avatar

Rodney Jr O.

Yelp
Pretty pricey for a smoothie.. but if you think about it as a meal replacement and for convenience.. the smoothie is AWESOME. The staff are nice and the drinks taste great!
google avatar

Mikhail H.

Yelp
I am now addicted! I managed to get the first one as a gift so freebie and now I am an addict! I went with the swirl and topped it with vegan cookie crumble (since they might get a lawsuit if they were honest and said OREO). Just amazing...so creamy, so crunchy, so delicious.... I wanted another the second I was done! There are many options but just wow. Also, at another location I also fell in love with the Juice Springstein, first for the name and then for the flavor.
google avatar

Charlie T.

Yelp
A great place for a fresh smoothie on a nice day when on NW 23rd area. Ther Fresh Prince (of Brazil) which has acai, strawberries, bananas, apple juice, and gogi berries were super refreshing and thirst quenching. The place is located on NW23rd across from Grassa. They also have a small outside seating. The drinks here are slightly higher priced than other smoothie places, but definitely worth it.
google avatar

Courtney B.

Yelp
Moberi is a mid level açaí bowl establishment. Definitely above Jamba Juice and other chains in terms of quality. But WAY below Carioca Bowls and Kure. I don't think Moberi is terrible but it isn't spectacular either. Additionally, the açaí has always tasted a little bit too sweet and almost unnatural for me. I am not sure what exactly they add to their açaí base but it isn't my favorite. I have stopped by this Moberi location and the Moberi location in the airport. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but if it's convenient based on the area I'm in and if I'm craving an açaí bowl I will go here. Another critique I have of Moberi is that they are extremely expensive comparatively to what you get elsewhere. $9 seems a little high for a small açaí bowl. Overall, not a bad but not worth making a special trip here.
google avatar

Jill S.

Yelp
Healthy eats, clean environment and refreshing atmosphere! I ordered the soft serve swirl, yes in December, with chocolate topping. The person was helpful in explaining the two soft serve options listing healthy ingredients that I'd never heard of (probs because Doritos and cheese are my diet items of choice) and their benefits. Both sounded compelling...and hence the swirl option to try both. There's other menu items such as the açaí bowl that I'll be back for!
google avatar

Steven B.

Yelp
This review is for the soft serve only. I did not order anything else. I found the vegan cookie crumble topping quite yummy actually but the actual soft serve just didn't stack up to much. I ordered the mint vanilla and chocolate swirl. The chocolate didn't have much of a chocolate taste really and the mint was quite minty and pleasant. The soft serve was quite light in texture, too light in fact. It lacked any real substance or creaminess and yet it is super super sweet. I am not vegan and thus not restricted to vegan desserts as such although I do eat them on occasion. I just know that it is very difficult to find a ice cream substitute that is vegan and can stand up even close to ice cream. Moberi was not the best vegan frozen dessert I have had and I am not driven in any way to go back.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing! Ordered for two and was almost to full to finish with the large! Dog friendly with all natural treats!
google avatar

Sammy S.

Yelp
Easy to order and pick up during weekday lunch! The Rip City Bowl was delicious! Definitely trying out the whole menu.
google avatar

Jo J.

Yelp
My go-to spot for a natural pick me up! Haven't had a negative experience ever. All choices have been delicious and filling. The bowls and smoothies are deceiving. I'm always left full!! Stellar team, too. Thank you for the great customer service and warm energy.
google avatar

Ty C.

Yelp
This place had a really well put together acai bowl. The presentation was amazing and it was assembled quickly. The fruit was fresh and there was a great mix of several different fruits. There is a bike you can ride to help power the blender if you choose. This location is sort of a stand/truck turned into a permanent location. Everything was tasty. There were several other people there, but it wasn't overly crowded.
google avatar

Collin Y.

Yelp
The girl working at the counter was so sweet and outgoing. We chatted with her for about 10 minutes since no one else was in line! That is always a great experience to have as a customer. That alone made me want to come back. The Açaí Bowl was so delicious. The fruit was incredibly fresh, and the honey drizzle was to die for. I left feeling completely satisfied and not stuffed to the core. It's a great meal to get you through the day and leaves you feeling light and energized for whatever comes next! I find myself craving it more and more now, which is great for me, who is currently trying to eat healthier! I recommend it. The flavors are well balanced, the portions are generous, and the vibe and ambiance are feel-good! Will most definitely return and look forward to trying new items!

Yelp
PEDAL TO THE MEDAL. Fun fun, what a wonderful juice bar that we stumbled upon in the Mississippi area when we were biking around. We had worked up a thirst and hadn't been able to find anything fresh around, besides beer. A friend had recommended Jen W and I to stop by while we were in town, and we had just happened to find this awesome place amongst a set of food carts. It's small like a food cart, but it came with something even better-a bike! They advertise that they were on Shark Tank and it's a fairly easy concept. Sustainable fruits and veggies that go into a smoothie. You get your choice (who doesn't like that?!), you choice of who makes your drink. 1. BIY (Bike it yourself) 2. Have the barista bike it for you 3. The wonderful magic of a blender I opted for the wonderful blender since I was kind of too drunk for the bike, but the roommate loved it! It's only about like a couple seconds long, but man is that bike loud when you pedal to the medal and blend away! We both got the Mr. Wonderful (5.75) which has strawberries, dragonfruit, mint, and apple juice! I was so happy with the combination of ingredients because it was so different and diverse, and the apple juice really tones down the acidity that orange juice brings in a drink. They don't really do substitutions for drinks-which is a downer! Jen W. has strawberry allergies and everything on the menu included strawberries. They were nice enough to substitute with frozen mangos (for a fee). It's a chill concept and with Portland being so bike friendly, this is a perfect addition. Cheers Portland!
google avatar

Camryn W.

Yelp
Amazing smoothie bowls! I had the Rip city bowl and my bf had the dragon bowl Z. Both were amazing and would recommend both. The almond butter and hemp seeds on top were amazing and the açaí was perfect- not too icy. No complaints

Yelp
I just walked into this establishment and asked if they had organic food and which items were organic . Mature nice worker told me everything' is organic. There was a lady in line and I asked her if she's been there/here before and asked her if it's organic , and she said yes. There's nothing on this website that I can see, or even on the menu indicating that this is organic . If they have two items that are organic you can't say everything is organic. My husband and I are on clean diets because of health issues. Could anyone answer this question?

Yelp
I'm a store bought smoothie novice. I make smoothies at home, but have never ventured to a smoothie shop until now. It's next door to a Pine State biscuit shop but I had already mentally told myself I was eating to live today and not living to eat. The shop was clean and bright. I ordered the turtle which had kale, mango, ginger, something else and apple juice. It was pretty sweet, likely from the juice. It was $7-8 . Which is probably one of the reasons why I've always resisted these types of shops. But, I didn't have to clean fresh produce or wash my blender so there is value in that, but in reality $5 would have felt more reasonable. The service was friendly.

Yelp
Heckkkkkkkk yea. This place is a favorite and recurring one to visit. Why? BECAUSE OF THE PURPLE RAIN. That is one incredible açaí bowl. What makes it spectacular? The refreshing pitaya in the center, the coconut cream dollop, and the purple coconut shell! It's a beautiful bowl with some genius in it. I highly recommend. The smoothies are also as good! Can't go wrong with anything - can't wait to be back!
