Google
Great Mochi-Donuts with a big variety of flavors from standard choices like chocolate and strawberry to black sesame or milk tea. We got half a dozen to try out the majority of flavors and loved each one of them. The storefront is a little bit hidden, sharing the space with a bubble tea and a korean corn dog place but it’s not hard to find. Definitely try out the matcha and the chocolate donut!

Google
You can only order on a screen and it’s located at the very end of the aisle for multiple food courts. Super fresh and variety of donuts to choose from.

Google
This is my favorite place for a sweet treat. I’ve come back here at least 10 times, the employees are so nice and I never have a wait. I always order the strawberry tanghulu and the strawberries are delicious and so sweet!!!! Highly recommend!

C N

Google
Obsessed with the tanghulu! Sometimes it’s really cold tho from being refrigerated so I have to let it get to room temperature or else the strawberries are too cold to bite into. When you walk in, it’s a building with other stalls, so walk to the very back and skip the lines at the entrace. Mochi Mochi is the last stall in the building. Order at the touch screen kiosk! :)

Google
To be honest, I never like donuts until i tasted these tasty chewy crispy flavorful "mochi donuts' in Korea Town. Their flavors include match, chocolate, taro, churros, cookies and creme, etc. Not only they are delicious and melt in my mouth, they are just beautiful and cute...picture perfect donuts. Once I eat one donut, I just cannot stop eating all the donuts in the entire box!

Samiha Oishi Khan

Google
It is a quiet donut shop runs with the kiosk. Donuts are different. Kinda stretchy. But the flavors are top notch. I tried with their 2good2go and completely worth it. I wouldn’t really buy if that wasn’t the quantity

Google
Best tanghulu I've had since I was in China. Ahjusshi is the best. The donuts are delicious too. Could eat one every day. The only sad thing is the Hawthorne is always sold out when I go. Please go there and support this business

Tory

Google
This is an indoor tiny strip mall of sorts. Mochi mochi is all the way back. Each shop has their own ordering kiosk so it can be a bit confusing for some people. When you order donuts, you just pick how many you want. Then when they call your number, you tell them the flavors. A very nice lady working there and delicious donuts. Chewy with flavorful icings, and perfect to share a wide variety of flavors with a group of people.

Yelp
Great donuts, I want to try the corndogs next. Cotton candy donut was pretty fire. Overall I highly recommend if you want a chill snack. Donuts are a bit over priced but good.

Yelp
Solid Mochi Donut! Mmm actually better than Alimama... and not as dense, it was delicious! (Tho... of course, we've had slightly better ones in our Korea & Japan vaca but this one doesn't require 15hrs in flight!) Order at the kiosk and pick your donuts! Went after 1pm, so pretty quick... plus it was raining so no line: cute stall and quick service, heart of Ktown! I got 6 to try... 2 Ube (best ones!), 1 cereal (meh) eat it right away, can get stale easily; 1 black sesame (yum!), vanilla (good basic option for kids) and Oreo (was ok). Would buy it again!

Yelp
This place is basically trying to copy Japanese style donuts. Unlike American donuts, Japanese style donuts look more like small balls in a ring or a bracelet. I have been to Japan and eaten these typeof donuts in bakeries like Mister Donut, and I have to say that this place does a good job. Unlike American donuts which tend to be soft and fluffy all around, these donuts are much chewier. They have a very good selection of flavors too. Even if these were American donuts, they would get business just based on the flavors being offered. These include: matcha, ube, milk tea, black sesame, fruity cereal and much more. They also sell tanghulu (the Chinese candied fruit sticks), but I'd stick with the donuts.

Yelp
I have been here a couple times, but I have never tried their mochi donuts. Each time I come, I order their tanghulu. They have different fruits for you to choose from when ordering tanghulu. There are strawberries, grapes, orange slices, and more. My favorite to order is the grapes because they are easier to bite off the stick.
google avatar

Michelle D.

Yelp
A-OK mochi donuts! I got a box of 4: ube, coconut, milk tea, and injeolmi. I liked the coconut one the most because of the flavour and texture but I felt the mochi donuts weren't anything too special. I do appreciate how they have a nice menu with lots of different flavours. Service starts as self-serve at the kiosk then the employee calls out your name and asks you to pick your flavours. It's located at the back of a shop that contains other shops like corndogs as well.
google avatar

Alondra C.

Yelp
The donuts were so delicious and I love how easy you can share them with people. My personal favorite is the mocha coffee donut because of the rich taste. The kiosk was a long line but worth the line.
google avatar

Elizabeth L.

Yelp
It's a winner for flavors! The virtual ordering is confusing here (multiple kiosks where you can only order certain items) & staff weren't particularly friendly, but the flavors are on point. The tangulu tasted the same as the ones you can get in East Asia. They also had hawthorn berry which was very tasty. For context, I usually do not like donuts but these mochi donuts popped off. There's seating outside but not in the restaurant itself. My only complaint is the price for tangulu. Since it's generally only sugar coated fruit, $7.99 is expensive for like 5 pieces.

Yelp
Incredible and friendly service. The worker was so kind and threw in two more for us to try since it was our first time trying there mochi donuts. Class act! We got Oreo, coconut, black sesame, and white chocolate. Didn't love black, but loved coconut. They're a little crispier than I expected. I've had them really soft before. Good tho! Not much indoor seating, 3 chairs at the entrance.
google avatar

Yelp
We love mochi donuts and we were very excited to come here when we found out this was so close to our hotel. It's a bit hard to find as it's tucked away in the back of a small market area with multiple vendors and you have to order at a kiosk first. You then give your order to the worker and they'll get you the donuts (it's really not that hard to order). These were delicious and we had tried the ube, fruity cereal, and soybean. The ube was the best of the three and we would definitely come back and order some more the next time we're in town!

Yelp
Rating: 7.3/10 PRO TIP: Honestly mochi donuts are excellent and it all depends on whether or not you get them fresh. Like most baked goods try to come earlier in the day but even if you go after dinner they'll still be good because it looks like they make them throughout the day. However, amongst most places, the quality seems to be pretty standardized for the pon de ring style mochi donuts, and the texture, taste, sweetness do not differ tremendously across multiple spots i've been to. MOCHI DONUTS They have a nice chew, not too sweet, and great satisfying texture with a subtle flavoring from the frosting - nothing is too overpowering and so you're able to go for more without feeling sick by the end of it, unlike classic american-style donuts where maybe just a few might be enough for most people. The xmas-themed flavors were awesome and so pretty; the favorites were probably passionfruit, strawberry, and milk tea. The matcha is subtle and so is the ube. FINAL CATEGORY: GOOD (terrible / bad / ok / GOOD / great / excellent)

Yelp
We dropped in here because of the tanghulu sign out front This is the last stall in the row and the ordering machine is right in front of it to get either tanghulu or mochi donuts We got strawberry and grape flavors and the strawberries were huge! I feel like the grapes had more candy on them but both were great, crunchy & sweet ~$7/each They also have cherry tomato, mandarin oranges and a plethora of mochi donuts flavors $3.5/ea There was a bit of a line to order but the sweets took just moments for delivery. Great for a quick dessert!

Yelp
Okay this place is hard to find, I was in the mood for mochi and walked in to look at the kiosk but didn't find any food on the menu. Turns out you have to walk all the way down to the back of the restaurant (Mochi Mochi is in the very back of the food hall). Once there, the service is amazing! She was so helpful and the donut was yummy!! I must admit I wanted more mochi texture than donut and this was more on the donut side, but it was a good donut s. The Milk Tea Donut is very sweet! (Too sweet for me) The black sesame Donut one was really nice. The Ambiance is definitely fast. A kiosk and pickup experience. But great service and help along the way!
google avatar

Yelp
This is such a cute place for a quick little snack. At first, I was kind of skeptical about mochi donuts, but I love the texture actually more than regular donuts at this visit I got the Ube flavor, and it was kind of like a rich vanilla flavor, I could do without the coconut sprinkles, though. They have the donuts ready made daily, and the service is pretty decent and quick. I love their seasonal decoration. This time I went was the Teletubbies.
google avatar

Hui L.

Yelp
Loved the tanghulu! I had thought that the sugar coating would be thick and hard to eat but it was actually thin and crunchy! My friend and I tried the mandarin and grape ones. The grape was our favorite as it was super juicy. Mandarin was a bit on the sour side. I think they also had strawberry, cherry tomatoes and another fruit as other options.
google avatar

Dimpie S.

Yelp
Still amazing! This time I went in the morning and the donuts were fresh. I also got to see them actively making the donuts which was a fun process. I tried the sesame this time and I'm not the biggest fan of black sesame but the donut itself was fresh, crisp on the outside and chewy and soft on the inside. They definitely got the flavor right without being overpowering. The chocolate was delicious and loved the touch of marshmallow. Loved the lotus. Also the passion fruit was absolutely delicious! I highly highly recommend because the woman serving is the most adorable who is always happy and excited! Even if the location isn't a sit down and it's in the back corner of the strip, I'm sure you'll find yourself going back again and again like me!

Yelp
Pretty decent Mochi donut stop right in koreatown. You have to order at the kiosk and then you go over to the counter and pick your desired flavors. I enjoyed the coffee and coconut Mochi donuts. I wasn't a fan of the ube one. Donuts were not too sweet either, which I enjoyed. Service was quick and there was no wait for us. But they do tend to get busying depending on the day. Located inside a building that has two other food stalls. They are at the end of the hall.
google avatar

Julie E.

Yelp
Pretty pretty donuts with unique flavors. Staff was super friendly. Walk up to the counter to order. Not much seating but it is Manhattan. Our hotel was near so great place to pop down for a treat.
google avatar

Amy B.

Yelp
Got the strawberry tanghulu and a milk tea donut. Strawberries were soooo sweet and delicious!!! It's pricey, but I'm a sucker and will be returning to get it again and again, especially while it's still strawberry season!
google avatar

Stephanie Y.

Yelp
Such a cute little snack! I ordered delivery so can't speak to the ambience, but each donut came in perfect condition and so gorgeous. I tried nearly every donut and really enjoyed the pink one the best. Not sure which flavor it was supposed to be but reminded me a bit of cotton candy. I also really liked the plain (churro?) ones as it allowed for full appreciation of the nice chewy mochi. Oreo was also pretty good. My friends really liked the cappuccino (?) donut though they devoured it so I didn't get to try. The ones I didn't like as much included black sesame, dark purple, yellow with the orange line (tangerine??? not sure what it was but it had a perfumes taste).
google avatar

Sophia W.

Yelp
These mochi donuts are SO yummy - they are so chewy and sweet, and there are so many different flavors! My favorite is black sesame. Service is fast, but this place tends to be crowded since it is in the very back of a hallway with two other food stalls in it. There is no seating.
google avatar

Yelp
Milk tea, matcha, black sesame, salted caramel! Light airy and yet crispy, flavors are distinct and tasty without being sugary sweet. An excellent alternative for gluten free people or people who just love rice! The kiosk system can be very swift and the service is kind. It's a grab and go situation so plan on taking that to a gathering or gifting a colorful box to friends. Mochi donuts are small but because they are rice dough they can still be filing. Pretty little cuties that you'll appreciate a esthetically. They are like giving someone/or yourself a cutie don't bouquet! Prices reflect midtown Manhattan but the service is again kind and swift though single donuts can get jostled about! It's trickery to buy a box, which I do of course because we only live once!

Yelp
Machi Machi Donut (not sure why it's spelled incorrectly on Yelp) is co-located in the same space as another Korean corn dog place. There was a line snaking out the front door, but luckily it wasn't for the mochi donuts. I was able to walk past everyone in line to the last stall and order via a kiosk. I got half dozen and picked oreo, injeolmi, churro, chocolate, strawberry, and fruity pebbles. To be honest, the donuts didn't taste that fresh because they were neither warm nor chewy on the inside. The presentation was fine but texture wasn't what I expected. Overall, I was quite disappointed.
google avatar

JT T.

Yelp
Absolutely loved the mochi doughnuts here! Ended up ordering 6 of them and they were all unique and great! To be specific, I ordered the UBE, churros, mocha coffee, salted caramel, coconut, and strawberry! All solid choices and would totally recommend them all. Don't be fooled by the 9pm closing time though. I went there twice around 7-8 pm and they were closed due to being sold out. Get there earlier in the day to make sure you don't miss out!
google avatar

Samantha S.

Yelp
Only ordered the Tang Hulu. Seems that it is more popular than their donuts. Very nice service. I do wish they were in stock with more fruit, they only had grapes and strawberries at the time I went.
google avatar

Sofia K.

Yelp
Came to try the tanghulu and it was great. I got strawberry and the strawberries were so sweet. Definitely some special strawberries they got here! Also got a mochi donut and a drink. The donut I got was the ube donut and it was average, like a regular donut. The drink I got though, the black milk tea creme brulee, actually surprised me. It was so much better than I expected and I personally like it more than the gong cha creme brulee. However the foam at the top is pretty thick which may turn some people off, but the drink itself was so good I didn't mind it. Also, the seating outside had a little ratatouille running around which is understandable, cuz it's outside, but was a bit disturbing.
google avatar

Jackie L.

Yelp
The line is always full of 20-something year olds who recently started watching anime or listening to k-pop. That is all well and good because this business will gladly take their money for overhyped donuts that look better than they taste and rock hard candy tanghulu that will break your molars and cut up your mouth.
google avatar

Joyce H.

Yelp
I've stopped by multiple times in the past month to get donuts as gifts for friends and family and they've been a big hit each time. Honestly the flavors here are on the light side compared to other mochi donut places, but the presentation and vast selection here is what gets me. Plus the easy transaction where you can do a "self-checkout" at the kiosk. As suggested by the cashier, passion fruit is the best flavor here and I 100% agree.

Chloe P.

Yelp
Got tanghulu the strawberries don't look fresh they're bruised, and the fruit was not fully coated in sugar either. Disappointing
google avatar

Jacqueline T.

Yelp
We love mochi donuts so this was an obvious choice when we were getting a Korean Hotdog and it was in the same building. They had so many good flavors we wanted to try that we had trouble narrowing it down. We ended up getting Ube, Black Sesame, Milk Tea, and Passion Fruit. They were all really good, by my favorites were Milk Tea and Passion Fruit. They're also flavors I haven't seen at other mochi donut places yet. I'd absolutely come back for more mochi donuts!
google avatar

Emma S.

Yelp
Very good place. The food is awesome and I thought it tasted very well. They are mostly machine operated, you use machines to order but getting the food takes a bit, but it's made fresh everyday! No where to eat inside but outside there is a cute spot.
google avatar

Jane S.

Yelp
Got some tanghulu on a Sunday early afternoon, easy to order via kiosk. The strawberry was sooooooo good, big strawberries and so juicy. The grape was pretty good too but the mandarin was kind of dry, wish they used better quality mandarin. Their mochi donuts looked pretty good, will be back to try some!
google avatar

Nafiza T.

Yelp
Usually this place is a great spot for mochi donuts and I love it so much but this time the donuts tasted kind of stale especially the oreo ones. The ube one was still delicious and it tasted so good! This place is small and doesn't have seating, which was completely fine because you can order and take it to go! The boxes are super cute and really hold together well throughout the journey back -- keeping the donuts super secure.
google avatar

Carlos D.

Yelp
I have been to the NJ locations many times and it was my first time here. Sadly, the donuts didn't taste as fresh as the ones I had before. I went around 1-2pm and it looks like the donuts I bought were sitting there for a few hours. If I go back it will be when they get freshly made.
google avatar

Lily C.

Yelp
I think I'm a little addicted to mochi donuts. This was my first time at mochi mochi and I was very pleased with all of the donuts. We got the chocolate, Dalgona, coconut, fruit cereal, churro, and milk tea. I would say my favorite was coconut but mochi donuts pretty much taste the same other than the toppings. I would say the churro ones were probably my least favorite because there was nothing really churro about them. It's really more like a cinnamon sugar doughnut then a churro. In terms of the consistency of these donuts, they are spot on. We got there in the afternoon and the donuts were very fresh. I would absolutely come back to Mochi Mochi and recommend. I went to the 32nd St. location and you have to walk to the back to get to the donuts. Enjoy! Do you know how to make mochi donuts here.
google avatar

Cathy K.

Yelp
Such a fun cute little food hall with kdogs, panna cotta drinks and mochi donuts. One of the best mochi donuts I've ever had. Loved the fruity pebbles one, I've had this at other places but the fruity pebbles are really packed on well for the perfect crunchy bite. Staff was very quick and efficient, she picked up on my order instantly after paying at the kiosk.
google avatar

Jemily H.

Yelp
This place reminds me a little of The Block in Annandale va, like in a to-go version. I had no idea that when I searched Mochi Mochi donut on Yelp it would also lead me to a bubble tea, hot dog, mochi donut paradise! This place is the definition of hip New York fare with a really fun twist. I got 2 favorites, the matcha mochi donut and the lady lake black tea with 1/2 taro boba and 1/2 tapioca pearls. The mochi was to die for!!! I didn't expect to like it so much but I want to come back tomorrow- so many flavors to choose from it's overwhelming from coconut to matcha, to ube. The bubble tea was prepared fresh and so delicious too. Perfect for a hot big apple day. I saw the couple next to me eating those hotdogs and oh my gosh they look so so so good! I will definitely have to try that next time! Worth the hype and worth the visit 110%
google avatar

Chris K.

Yelp
The donuts look nice and are made in cool flavors, but are not worth the price ($3.50/donut). We tried the matcha and chai flavored donuts and thought they were OK. Maybe I'd go back to try other options.
google avatar

Ryan S.

Yelp
When you walk in, you will see a boba shop and a corn dog shop. At the end of the hallway, there will be Mochi Mochi Donut. I went right as they opened Friday morning at 11am and there was no line. Be aware, the kiosks located outside the front door are for the corn dog shop and the kiosk located right as you walk in, are for the boba shop. You will have to walk all the way to the back to find the kiosk for Mochi shop. Once you order, you will receive a receipt + a queue number. When your number is called, you can go up to the counter to pick and choose your flavors of donuts. For flavors, I chose Fruity Pebbles, Matcha, Oreo and Strawberry. All very delicious, warm and tasted fresh (they were the first batch). Fruity pebbles tasted exactly as expected - the donut was sprinkled with the cereal. The matcha was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. My favorite was the oreo flavor. If you are looking for a sweet flavor, I would recommend the Strawberry or Fruity Pebbles.

Paul G.

Yelp
Didn't see Jay Chow, drink was a little overpriced. I thought the donuts were actually better than the drinks.
google avatar

Mary P.

Yelp
A mochi donut that doesn't break the bank? I'm sold. I spent way more dough at a downtown donut shop that makes pretty donuts that don't last but a days worth of time before they're stale. I prefer to have something same day but being a donut you should still have some serve factor after a day. I mean all that sugar is a preservative, no? I love the Asian inspired flavors and these made me happy to pull apart, nub by nub. I really liked the churro flavor which is honestly just a cinnamon sugar mochi donut. Happy about this mochi trend and here for it! This same location allows for you to also get your boba drank and Korean rice hot dog on. How efficiently wonderful!
google avatar

Sawako Y.

Yelp
This doughnut shop just opened inside the popular boba tea spot, Machi Machi, in K-Town. Inside Machi Machi is a mini food court with 3 shops: Machi Machi, Jongro Rice Hot Dog and this doughnut shop. You order all in the same way--on the touch screen right outside the store. For the doughnuts, you just select the number of doughnuts you want ($2.50 per doughnut) and pay here. The flavors, you choose once you get inside. If there is a line, it's mainly for the boba tea. So once you get inside, you can go to the far back and select your doughnuts. I tried Milk Tea, which was quite good. If you've ever had Pon-de-ring from Mister Donuts in Japan (which are my favorite), these are heavier and chewier. If you've never tried mochi doughnuts, they are much chewier and more dense than to other fluffier doughnuts like from Krispy Kreme or Dunkin Donuts. They are quite tasty and can be quite addictive :) This place has a selection of flavors including strawberry, green tea, mocha coffee, Oreo and more! What should I try next?
google avatar

Puspita E.

Yelp
The donut was super soft and fluffy but the flavor wasn't strong enough to be super amazing. For $3.50, I do not think it is worth the prize, but don't get me wrong it is still tasty. The server was super nice and the kiosk system is convenient especially for introverts who want to limit interactions. It is the last stall inside the place but it is still clean and nice to walk through.
google avatar

Tinna Y.

Yelp
It might be a bit expensive for a "light" donut, 4 for $14, but it's chewy and cute. Besides, let's face it, they look too pretty to eat! Once a while, should be ok. I had passion fruit, green tea, sesame and ube.
google avatar

Risa S.

Yelp
Tucked away all the way at the end of 2 other little shops (a bubble teas and corn dog shops), Mochi Mochi donuts is a must stop if you want to try the famous Mochi donuts that everyone is talking about! The crowds can be overwhelming and disorienting because there are different lines for different shops, but if you head all the end towards the back, you'll see the Mochi donut front shop and a digital kiosk where you can input your order (or if there are no queue, lucky you!, a staff can help you directly). They offer a huge selection of flavors, all nicely lined up for you to admire and drool over to Choose from. I have to warn you that these famous social media trendy Mochi donuts will ring you a pretty penny as half a dozen will cost $21, and a dozen will be $42! These ain't you're regular Dunkin' Donuts, that's for sure!! We decided to try the passion fruit (very fruity and floral), coconut (lots of toasted shavings if you like them), Injeolmi (an Asian powdery bean flavor - acquired, and quite a bit too powdery almost imo), strawberry (a very delicious solid choice), black sesame (great balance flavor) and ube (I would say I was the most disappointed by this flavor because I could hardly taste it!). These donuts did not disappoint- they are certainly chewier and softer than a regular flour dough donut. If I had to compare it to, almost like a soft spongy cake that is airy and fluffy, yet still chewy without being dense! Can't wait to stop by and try the other flavors!
google avatar

Tuan B.

Yelp
The mochi donuts were perfect. They were the right texture, chewy but not too chewy and was not sweet at all. If it was possible I would probably eat these everyday if possible. I grabbed the black sesame, mocha coffee, ube, coconut, Nutella, and milk tea. I named the flavors to my favorite to my least. Don't grab too much if your out of town and want to load up. It gets chewier as it gets older especially the next day. So far in my opinion, mochi donuts are superior to regular donuts.

Rachel L.

Yelp
Fast, easy and delicious! I usually buy these as treats for my coworkers or for a birthday, everyone always loves them and the sheer variety is amazing!
google avatar

Binoy V.

Yelp
Delicious mochi donuts, perfectly moist inside and smooth outside with interesting flavors to choose from. The chew from these donuts is very satisfying. They are just the right level of sweetness too. Couldn't fault this one, must try!
google avatar

Meng Z.

Yelp
I love mochi donuts and this place definitely offers some great selections of mochi donuts! This is located insider of a venue along with other food places that serve corn dogs and bubble tea. This mochi donut place is located all the way at the back. When you get there, you would order from the kiosk for the number of mochi donuts you are looking for then you would go to to the glass display to pick out your flavors. I got six mochi donuts that range from sesame to strawberry. Each of them are chewy and delicious. Will definitely be coming back to try the other flavors!
google avatar

Marco L.

Yelp
If you're looking for a sweet treat to brighten up your day, look no further than Mochi Mochi. These wonderfully looking donuts are enough to make anyone crave them just by sight alone. I would go back for sure. Flavor: 5/5 - These were perfect for me. They weren't too sweet and there were a plethora of flavors to choose from. The person managing the shop gave solid recommendations of the Green Tea and the Ube. I had quite a bit of trouble choosing the other flavors as everything looked scrumptious. I ended up picking the Strawberry and the Black Sesame. The donuts came in a nice little box. I had so much fun eating these picking off the donut segments piece by piece. The mochi flour that was used led to a nice slightly chewy texture. Out of the 4 flavors selected, I would recommend the Black Sesame as the aroma from it was very fragrant. Environment: N/A - I went down the hallway and ordered at the Kiosk. I was able to see all of the wonderful flavor selections. The hallway was pretty packed. Note: Mochi Mochi Donut is tucked away in the back and the initial kiosks outside and in the front of the building correspond to other shops.
