Modern Market Joins Downtown Austin’s Healthy Restaurant Options | Eater Austin

"A Colorado-based healthy fast-casual chain is opening a downtown location at the Frost Bank Tower (401 Congress Avenue) on Monday, January 15. The restaurant emphasizes allergy- and special diet-friendly fare, with a menu similar to other locations featuring salads, soups, sandwiches, bowls, and brick-oven pizzas, plus a breakfast lineup of waffles, sandwiches, plates, and scrambles. The chain is notable for being the first national restaurant to use pasture-raised eggs nationwide. This will be the third Austin-area location (in addition to branches in the Arboretum and Westlake), following an earlier downtown announcement in 2016, and it joins a bevy of new restaurants opening downtown." - Erin Russell

No wait on a Saturday afternoon. Order was accurate and food was delicious! We had the Chef's bowl with smoky chicken and it was fresh with great flavor. The hibiscus lemonade was refreshing! The Nutella marshmallow treat was a great dessert that I highly recommend! I would return again!

Was not expecting to find a healthy place to eat and stumbled here. Now I will eat at all there locations across America. Had pesto chicken sandwich and Bacon Kam Club. They were great sandwich. Great service, nice , clean place to eat.

What a fantastic dining experience! The Garden Steak was a standout with excellent flavors and generous portions, paired beautifully with an amazing salad that was flawless. The friendly and helpful staff, including Ms. Sharmaine, made the visit even better. Highly recommend!

This was the first time I've been to this restaurant, and I had the Salmon Curry bowl. The salmon was flavorful but overcooked as it was pretty firm. The roasted vegetables and curry soup were delicious.

We ordered the salmon salad tomato and basil soup and the chicken sandwich. They where all amazing, soup was full of flavour and chicken sub was perfect. Really modern interior and a great price. Really too many good options, felt very nice fresh and original a good change for ordinary fast food.

Farm fresh good quality food! We had the Chef’s bbq beef bowl - 8 out of 10 Chef’s curry salmon - 9 out of 10 Thai coconut chicken salad - 9 out of 10 Basil chicken sandwich- 8 out of 10 Best of all kids get free meal, with every adult meal. They have gluten free cookies. Highly recommend this place

We placed an order from Modern Market Eatery through Uber Eats, and while the food quality was exceptional, there was a discrepancy between the portion of tuna shown in the Uber Eats image and what was actually served. This mismatch cost them a star, but the flavors more than made up for it. I ordered the Lemongrass Tuna Bowl, and it tasted awesome. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and they complemented each other perfectly, making the bowl rich and satisfying. As this was a takeaway order, I didn't get to experience the ambiance or service in person, but based on the food alone, I'd definitely recommend giving them a try. A must for fresh, flavorful meals!
