"Barcelona isn’t the place to be if you like your food punched up with seasonings. Mog is one of the few exceptions. Here, Barcelona-style sharing plates and seasonal ingredients meet homey Goan recipes. The result is less fiery than India but zestier than we’re used to in town, as coconut, ginger, and tamarind bring out sweet and sour South Indian flavors that aren’t dumbed down to please the masses. Milder dishes like the juicy beef croquette and deep-fried Mike’s Chicken are a nod to the local palate, but the smoky fish curry and plump mussels served in a tangy green sauce more than make up for it. Even though I cannot say I am very familiar with Goan cuisine, the food we tried at Mog was really nice. Nothing spectacular, but just simple, rich flavors, you can tell that the food is cooked with a bit of heart too. A plate of hot, tasty, flavorful fish curry- a delight for your taste buds. The beef cheek was great too. Nice wine list as well, and it seemed they had some good looking cocktails too (haven’t tried those). One star less because the portions are really quite small for the price, compared to the average around.

The sauces in each dish here are so good, I had to finish every drop! Wonderful service and delicious food served in small sharing plates. The wines are reasonably priced and owners, ambience is good (it’s not noisy and you can have great conversations!) are really nice too. Loved the mussels and gambas chilly the most.

WOW! 10/10!! Super nice restaurant for laid back food! They have all types of spicy food, natural wines, vegan options! Every plate was better than the last! It’s hard to name a favorite! Great place to go on a date night!

Finally got around to trying Mog and just wow - this place instantly skyrocketed to one of my favourite meals in Barcelona! We tried the pan con tomate, beef croquetas, fish curry, kra pao, beef cheek, and the coco brulle for dessert and every dish was a straight 10/10!! All topped off with lovely conversations with a super friendly owner. Words can’t explain the magic of this place, so just go experience it for yourself. I, for one, will be back soon to try every dish on the menu. My kudos to the chefs!

Heard about this place and could not wait to come here and it did not disappoint. We were blown away by the food the service and the ambience. My 8 year old ate the fish curry and has not stopped talking about it. All she wants to do is go back to eat it again. Will definitely be recommending MOG to friends and family And will be coming back.

Mog restaurant in Barcelona is undoubtedly one of the best dining experiences we've had in the city. The food is incredible, perfectly complemented by the inviting atmosphere. The owners are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The prawn dish is absolutely out of this world—a must-try! Additionally, their wine collection is fantastic. We highly recommend Mog for anyone visiting Barcelona.

My partner and I found Mog Barcelona when looking for small bites to eat, and this place did not disappoint. We love Asian food, and the fusion flavors in the seafood appetizers we had were AWESOME. We had a shrimp dish which had some good spice (seen in the picture) with bread to soak up the amazing sauce. We also had a fish fry, which was fried, but not too fried, pieces of fish with a more mayonnaise-aioli and a more cilantro sauce, which only added more to the fish. The service was incredible, and the natural wine was great as well! If you’re in the area, definitely swing by.
