We had Paneer Tikka masala, Paneer chilli (gravy), hot and sour soup, garlic naan and butter naan. Their Paneer was good and soft. Overall good experience!

We had a wonderful dining experience at Mughal Restaurant . From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was inviting and warm. Our server, Valentine, was exceptionally courteous and attentive, making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout the meal. We started with the mixed vegetable sizzler and chicken malai kabob—both were packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The sizzler was vibrant and perfectly spiced, while the malai kabob was tender, creamy, and melted in the mouth. For the main course, we enjoyed chicken Kolhapuri and bhindi do pyaza, accompanied by a basket of fresh, warm breads. The Kolhapuri had just the right amount of heat and complexity, and the bhindi was cooked to perfection—flavorful and not at all greasy. Every dish was delicious and made with obvious care. We left full and happy, already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend Mughal for anyone craving authentic and well-prepared Indian cuisine—and be sure to ask for Valentine!

The food and the ambience was really good, we keep on visiting here often, but today we tried their new menu. The food was delicious and mouth watering. Prashant a very old server, assisted us and also explained per dish, which we didn’t try. As always their service and food has been top notch . We recommend everyone who has read this, to try their new lamb app and paneer dishes.

Moghul has a fantastic lunch buffet - we went on a Saturday and were blown away by the food selection, service and cleanliness. Enjoyed their flavorful food very much, will be back! 👍🏽😋

Google
Valentine gave us excellent service and our glasses never went dry. The butter chicken was incredible along with pressure cooker goat was phenomenal not to mention the garlic naan bread. We also found out it was Valentines birthday. What a tremendous service to serve us on his birthday. We will definitely return. Thanks Valentine 🎂🍾

We visited Moghul Restaurant in Edison for a weekday lunch buffet today. Unfortunately, our experience did not meet expectations, especially considering the pricing. The food quality was average and certainly not what we expected, while their service was decent. What stood out the most was their pricing, we were charged $45.90 for two buffet meals, $9.90 for two coke, and an automatic 20% gratuity that added $11.16 to the bill, bringing the total to $71.40 for a casual lunch for two. Particularly the cost of soft drinks and the mandatory gratuity felt excessive and not in line with the overall dining experience, given the average quality of the food and service. I would strongly suggest the management to re-consider their pricing to ensure customer satisfaction.

Food is amazing. The consistency is commendable. The service is great. We were served by Valentine and he always ensures we are well taken care of.

Google
Our waiter Valentine was awesome, so i didn't mind the automatic 20% tip, but i do wish we got to pick the amount i am supposed to tip. We were only three people, not a party. The Sunday buffet was the best way to try a bit off everything. The food was great. I will most likely be back.

Yelp
Went here on a Sunday evening for the first time. The interior is decent, a bit traditional not modern. We ordered masala papad, mango lassi, and kadai paneer, methi malai mutter, and badshah kofta. The food was really good. I am very picky about Indian food in US but I liked it. I wasn't disappointed. Service was good too. Just know that its not a cheap restaurant. But overall definitely recommend.

Yelp
Of all the Indian restaurants in all of New Jersey, this is the one a friend suggested that we meet at for lunch for their buffet. Funniest thing is that we didn't even register that this was the one Indian restaurant that we'd been to in Edison until we actually drove up to it (!). This time around we were there for the buffet, which had some highs and some lows. We can't get into every dish, but there were some fresh veggie items to start, along with dal, samosas, and the chickpea fritters that were really great. It was the usual suspects for mains--tikka, saag, kebabs, etc.--and almost everything needed salt. You do get some complimentary naan at the table. Nothing else worth mentioning or praising! Two main reasons why we are giving this place three stars (which really feels like it should be two): 1) Automatic 20%--20!--gratuity. Ummm, it's a buffet and you poured some water and put some naan on the table, so not quite sure why our hands should be forced that way. 2) One of us wasn't super hungry, so she didn't eat much of her plate and wanted a to-go box, and they completely refused! It's not like one plate got loaded, eaten, and then a second one was reloaded trying to game the system--no! This was just the *original* plate and they were kinda rude about it. Hopefully there will never be a third time at this place. Lunch buffet buyers beware!

Yelp
Food was ok - good assortment for a buffet, but from a taste perspective nothing felt exceptional.. Service was ok - went for a buffet so was mostly us getting our own meals Ambiance is good Price - felt it's overpriced for a buffet. The thing that bothered me the most was the 20% gratuity (for 2 people) that itself was too much for a buffet. Will I go again - probably not, just because of the compulsory gratuity!

Yelp
What a great first experience! Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Took my wife here for Valentine's Day. Was looking for an Indian restaurant that had exceptional food and a more upscale atmosphere; happily, this had both. They had the place decorated for the holiday, which just added to the experience. We tried a variety of dishes, more than we could eat, knowing we'd have leftovers. All were perfectly prepared and delicious. Austin (probably not spelled exactly right) was a fantastic waiter that offered great suggestions and was so pleasant. I'd highly recommend.

Yelp
This is a pretty average buffet for Edison, New Jersey. I was expecting it to be a lot better considering the catering they offer at weddings and other events are pretty amazing. I really liked the decor of the place. They had an open window so you can see the cooks in the kitchen. The bathroom had an amazing mirror that added a classy vibe. I really liked their art around the restaurant as well. The service at the buffet wasn't the best. Usually at most Indian buffets, the staff is on top of taking away dishes. Here, a lot of times, I would come back and the plates were still on the small table. The mango lassi that we ordered was delicious. I really liked how it wasn't too sweet. The chickpea dishes here were pretty amazing. I felt like the chickpeas were fresh. The paneer rolls weren't good and we weren't sure if the item was mislabeled because it tasted like chicken not paneer. The desserts here were very different. There was a paan rice pudding which had a weird after taste.

Yelp
One of the best Indian restaurants I've ever been to. Came here with my family, all of who are quite selective about Indian food, and we were all blown away. I'm surprised and disappointed to see a lot of reviews tanking the rating here just based on price? Not every Indian place needs to be cheap or be a buffet. I appreciate that this place has a beautiful interior, quality cutlery and dishes, and of course most importantly insanely good food. I've definitely seen places that are faux-fancy or are all looks but the food itself is not great or the quantity is super low, this is not one of those places. It's pricy, ($25 curries), but you still get enough food and the quality is fantastic. The bar has superb cocktails and good beer selection too, and service is fast moving even with the large crowd (looks like almost 100 people right now). Overall, this is one of the best Indian restaurants I've been to. I will definitely be bringing friends. And I challenge folks to not lump Indian food into some category of having to be cheap - every other cuisine has a full range of price points and types, let's not force Indian restaurants to be only one type of way.

Yelp
I went for brunch on a Sunday and had the buffet with family+mango lassi add on! It was super busy but the service was warm and accommodating! I loved the food! Don't skip the dosa table people! And the gulab jamun was fire like always! I loved the hot masala tea they kept stocked and of course the mango lassi never ever disappoints!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is over hyped in my opinion. The daal makhani which they brag about cooking for many hours has no basic flavors and tastes overcooked. I will give them 10/10 for their dahi bhalla which comes topped with ginger julienne that adds extra flavor. The ambiance is good and so is the service. I typically go for takeouts and I don't see this place crowded. The host is very professional.

Yelp
Came here for the 40th anniversary with friends and had such a great time. With their throwback prices we ordered cocktails, samosas, multiple dishes and dessert. While it was busy we didn't feel rushed, waiter was really attentive and checked in enough where it wasn't too often and we didn't feel neglected. The cocktails were great, had some spice to is which I really enjoy. Usually there 1-2 cocktails that are spicy on a menu but this had a few different options. There are lights on the table which made the ambiance really nice, the right amount where you can see each other and not too dim. The food was a bit more spicy than I'm used to but it had the right amount of heat. Food was overall great, throwback prices are even better, cocktails were a bit pricey at $16 each and we really enjoyed dinner here. Vegetable samosas Chicken Tikka Masala Dal Makhani Malai kofta saag paneer Garlic naan Tres leches Napoleon Pineapple cardamom martini Pineapple black pepper martini Adult chai Pomegranate drink

Yelp
Go there if you have deep pockets and need small quantities of food. The food was good. This is a fine dining restaurant. After staying there sometime in the restaurant the servers do not care about showing up again for any follow-on orders. We went with family, and we tried their LAMB SHEEKH KABAB, DAKSHINI JHINGA, PURANI DILLI KA BUTTER CHICKEN, HYDERABADI GOAT DUM BIRYANI, MALAI KOFTA CURRY the food was good but the reason I gave 3 stars is because I could find better food in Edison, NJ for lesser price.

Ash K.

Yelp
Very bad quality has gone down. I had asked for chicken curry spicy it was not spicy at all. Chicken was very hard to eat. No point complaining never going back.

Yelp
I've tried all of the Indian restaurants in Edison and am consistently blown away by the quality of food and service that Moghul delivers. Despite being extremely busy, the restaurant accommodated my family of 9, including 3 high chairs. Despite the chaos that comes with having 3 small children at dinner, the restaurant staff took it in stride and had a smile on their face the whole time. The food was also second to none. The jugalbandi chaat, gobi, paneer makhani, malai kofta were all out of this world, and the kulfi was probably the best I've ever eaten. The entire meal was delcious. At the end, we accidentally left our leftovers at the table and the owner actually ran out to the parking lot (in the cold) to make sure we got our food to go. I would highly recommend this restaurant to all of my friends and family.

Yelp
I came here for lunch on the holiday weekend for a party of two. There was no buffet this day which is something to note if you're going for that purpose. We got the beet kabab, hara masala chicken, malai kofta, butter naan, and ras malai tres leches cake. The very kabab was good but felt the portion was small. The main dishes were good and filling, we took half the portions back home. The ras malai tres leches was good but not what I expected based on the description. There was not much of a crowd when we went. The staff was somewhat attentive but overall okay. I did feel it was a bit pricey and the added on 20% gratuity even for a group of 2 people I felt was excessive. The ambience was fine but I don't think enough to justify the price/added gratuity. Overall, the food was nice and experience was good but too pricey in my opinion.

Sunil S.

Yelp
Nice ambiance, great service! Food was rather blend, with not enough quantity per serving, despite being overpriced. We ordered vegetarian dishes, appetizers, drinks, along with Naan basket. We would probably try again in a while, but not frequently.
google avatar

Lisa P.

Yelp
My family and I went here this weekend for some Indian food. Possibly relevant info , we are not Indian ourselves. We are Caucasian and not huge on very spicy. But we are adventurous with palate choices. We decided to give this place a shot after already trying the express version and liking it a lot. The place was packed but they did have a table available. We ordered 3 appetizers that were all good. Also, 2 main dishes. Anything we ordered we asked for light spice. If that was light then wow to full force. Everything was good but nothing really stood out as dynamic. The Mango lassi drinks were our favorite.

Yelp
Moghul is an institution on Oaktree road. Long standing restaurant. Food is amazing. I've only been here for weekend buffets. Their fish was so soft and melt in the mouth. Desserts are from mithaas. We've had food catered from here for our office events and that has always been very good too. Definitely recommend if you're looking for food at Oaktree.

Devang P.

Yelp
Love this place. ive been to all the other spots on oaktree but nothing beats the combination of ambience, service, quality of food, and selections. They treat me extremely well everytime i'm there.

Yelp
Been coming here for about 5 years now and always to catch up with longtime friends. We always come for the buffet. Price is ok as of today....not a deal-breaker. Place is inviting and clean with an attentive staff. One note is that water served should be cold or better yet iced. The food is very good. Would like to see more dishes in the line of vegetable stews (multi vegetables combined) and not just lentil curry and spinach saag. I've only had chicken there for buffet but an occasional goat dish would be something I've not had. I have no real complaints other than more stews whether all vegetables or coupled with say chicken. As for dessert, my friends and I all say there should always be gulab jamun and some sort of rice pudding but always gulab jamun. This is just our request of course but I think most people expect to see gulab jamun. And finally, it be great to see perhaps a combination of naan breads like straightforward and garlic or straightforward and surprise us. Plenty of parking. Plenty of seating but can fill ip at times. Will be going back for sure. BTW, the rating is like 3.5.

Yelp
My wife and I decided to take a drive out to Edison, NJ to get some authentic style Indian food. Moghul was what we chose and what a great place it is! From the ambiance to the service, everything was great! They have indoor as well as outdoor seating. They set up their outdoor seating so beautifully. There were beautiful wisteria flowers dangling from above and white linen covered tables set up under. We ordered the Norwegian Salmon Tikka, Chicken Tikka Masala and a vegetable tikka. The food was excellent and I cannot wait to go back and try other dishes. They have a lunch buffet that I want to go back and try as they have a variety. Don't forget to try the Red Chili Margarita--so good!

Yelp
We ended up going for a holiday buffet considering our amazing experience from last time and that didn't disappoint as well. Limited but very classy choice of buffet - crispy vegetable cutlet for starters with tomato shorba soup, delicious dal makhani, paneer gravy, vegetable korma, aloo gobhi for main course served with Ofcourse fresh hot naan and jeera rice. Also the papad were freshly prepared, although little greasy for my taste buds. Occasionally I try the chicken and they had tandoori chicken- perfectly cooked so moist, the masala was superb and had a nice smoky touch from the tandoor. They also had chicken curry and fish fry which my husband seemed to approve. To end with- they had moong dal halwa which was so flavorful from the addition of saffron and cut almonds and rice pudding. Nothing on the menu disappointed. The 4th July buffet costed us 19$ each and will definitely return again.

Yelp
Food, ambiance, and vibes were immaculate. What wasn't immaculate was the price . They definitely raised prices tremendously since covid and while the Saabzis and naans all tasted great, they all come at a very steep cost in regards to portion size. Automatic 20% gratuity for 4 people and charging extra for plain rice is a bit ridiculous.
google avatar

jennifer c.

Yelp
The pear cardamom martini is amazing and Valentine was an amazing server, definitely a beautiful atmosphere with outdoor seating.

Peter N.

Yelp
Valentine, the server was awesome. He is well spoken and respectful, treated us like a guest. Good was good as well

Yelp
We found this place thru Google. The food is delicious. Make sure to come early for buffet. Beautiful place great service. 20 percent tip included. We will be back. I am craving it again.
google avatar

Adam A.

Yelp
Food was fine. I had eaten the buffet lunch there before. However there was just two of us for the lunch buffet. Unfortunately I was in a hurry to get back to work and didn't realize they had snuck in a mandatory 20% tip. Mind you this was included in the final bill. I missed this and didn't realize this until looking at my receipt when I got home. Very shady business practice. I ended up tipping 25% on the total bill plus the $7 they had snuck in.
google avatar

Pratod K.

Yelp
We have been to Moghul restaurant for 20+ years. We can say we have never had a bad meal or a single dish. Food is always excellent and tasty. Service is also excellent and does not give an opportunity to complain. With their new menu and new choices we will continue to visit. They have been also accommodating for us when we have dogs with us , giving a table on side outside during summer time.
google avatar

Laltoo B.

Yelp
The food is much better than before Covid with a slew of new items, but at the same time the prices have more than doubled. Went for a dinner with friends & was glad to see it back on its feet. Cauliflower Thetcha was a miss, batter fried with no real Thetcha. The Lamb chops were tasty but the Chicken chops Afghani were outstanding. The Sarson Maach was a very good mustard fish curry, everyone liked it, nevertheless it was not the authentic Bong version. The King fish was grilled perfectly with light masala. The piece-de-resistance was the Nawabi Raan ki Biryani, a whole leg of roasted lamb served a bed of biryani rice, eggs etc. made to perfection. Be warned, the $99 dish is meant for a group of 4-5 people, also don't expect a the Hyderabadi dum version. All these delicious food was accompanied with great & prompt service by Valentine, our every smiling server. Had a great night with friends. Welcome back Moghul!

Amul P.

Yelp
Read the text in the picture. Worst and most expensive restaurant. Never again. Who charges rice ?
google avatar

Tulshi P.

Yelp
The place looks pretty run down and crowded inside, where we were seated. The food was average - brussel sprouts chaat as an appetizer was the best out of everything I ordered. The paneer moghul, navrattan curry, malai kofta were good but the onion kulchas and paneer naans were terrible (very chewy). Rice is not included with anything so needs to be ordered separately. I feel prices have risen but are still similar to restaurants in the area. The service was lackluster. I literally had to flag down the waiter to get more water, order entrees, and to get the check.

Yelp
Yummy pit stop on drive from NJ to DC. Buffet is perfect for a quick meal. Located in a plaza with several other desi paraphernalia if you need to shop.

Yelp
Moghul Buffet is Back !! Great Experience. Cost is Worth. Lots Of Variety. Weekend Made By Moghul.
google avatar

Ajay P.

Yelp
The buffet was good. We had self made samosa chat, soup, fish fry, chicken tandoori, naan with some curry dishes (shrimp and chicken) then I had chicken biryani. The desert which was moong dal halwa was very tasty I ordered Mango Lassi and my wife ordered soda with lemon Overall for the good service, ambience and good food.. it costed $70 for two.. it was worth it. The restaurant was getting filled up on Sunday for buffet by 1PM. Good place will return back next time too

Robert G.

Yelp
Food and service was excellent. Was recommended a dish to try by Larson D and I'm very happy I listened to him! Will definitely come back if in town again.

Yelp
A fortunate stoke of Serendipity is how I would describe our visit to Moghul! We had to drop our plans to dine at Cheesecake Factory due to the long wait and hungry kids. Called and got a table at Ming and headed there. As we reached the parking ( which incidentally is huge with ample spots) , the aroma from the Tandoor swept us off our feet ! While window watching and drooling over the crowd enjoy tandoori chicken and Biriyani, Ming abruptly became secondary, and we checked into Moghal. Though our wait was supposedly 45 mins, the manager gave us a table in 15 mins. Call it stroke of luck or destiny! From the time we were seated and ordered our food, the memorable journey started .... I must mention Vivian who waited our table took such great care of us which made the evening extra special... Complimentary papad with green / dates chutney - Both chutneys were definitely made in-house and tasted fresh , different from all Indian restaurants around the area. Green chutney could have been a bit more thicker. Shrimp pepper Fry- A unique Goan style preparation with roasted shredded coconut and black pepper made this dish delectable. The only downside is that they only serve 4 pieces per order ! Tandoori Chicken- we had to get the full chicken and thoroughly enjoyed the flavor and tender chicken. Except for the added red food coloring which was a minus, i would rate it high on marination and texture. Hariyali Chicken - Unbeatably the best appetizer dish of the evening . Mild yet adequately flavored with a soft texture cooked to perfection. This one didn't need any chutney or fixings to enjoy. Mughalai paneer tikka - yet another Punjabi classic to die for. There are only 4 paneer pieces in an order with loads of onion and peppers making you crave for more of the meaty flavored paneer. Chicken Lababdaar - Curry with creamy goodness and beautifully cooked chicken but had veg less curry and chunky pieces of the chicken making it less interesting for an accompaniment with Garlic Naan or rice . If you like more of the sauce , please mention the need for more gravy and less chicken . Malai Kofta- This curry was heaven on earth. Beautify laced flavors made the curry so yummy, that despite being such a cliche dish , we couldn't get enough of it . The primary resin being , the Kofta here is the real deal cottage cheese filling. Unlike most Indian restaurants that make do with potatoes or other veggies when making the Kofta , making it a Veggie Kofta though they call it Malai Kofta. Paneer Ka Salan- recommend by our waiter Vivian , here's another variation to the traditional Mirchi ka Salan , where they added Paneer to the Salan dish with mild chili peppers which elevated this dish in taste and originality. We were already in food nirvana at this point, and were ready to slowly uplift ourselves from our seats when Vivian topped it up with a surprise Chocolate Lava cake and ice cream. It was my Birthday! We couldn't have asked for a better meal or an even more perfect birthday evening with family. The unplanned visit to Moghul , the mangers thoughtful gesture in getting us a table in a packed restaurant , the totally unexpected mind blowing food and and even more unexpected service from Vivian and his coworkers made this place worth the visit and a spot to bookmark and recommend .

Yelp
Delicious ! We went yesterday early and were able to sit outside. Drinks were delicious - I had a spicy margarita (perfect spice level). The garlic naan and onion bread were delicious. The RAJASTHANI MIRCHI PAKORA reminded me of a stuffed jalapeño popper. MASTANI BAI CRISPY PALAK PATE CHAAT was super delicious ! Loved the yogurt sauce. We split Kadai paneer which was also delicious ! GULKAND KI PHIRNI for dessert was delicious. Larson was very helpful in making suggestions and his service was great.

Yelp
Mohan G 1 Pending review Horrible hotel- cheats They are cheats, first of all 24.99 $ they hardly had 5 Main course items ..... the food taste was the most horrible I am still vomiting's. above all .. they charge you 20% service charge.. on a buffet.. bloody I serve my food.. why to pay service charge .. its never mentioned in website, they staff show a small picture in the restaurant which benefits' them.. never visit this place.. for eating ..... most horrible restaurant i have ever visited

Yelp
Terrible experience. Cold naan. Smelly kheer and hard malai kofta. Don't go here. After they changed the management, quality is down to dirt.
google avatar

Yelp
Great meal for a group here. First, absolutely loved the cocktails. My other favorite was the grilled paneer, couldn't stop eating that. Potato appetizers and paratha were also hits. Attentive service and easy parking.

Yelp
A side of Rice from a Fine Dine Indian restaurant for $8.... Basics of cooking forgotten

Babu B.

Yelp
Mogul has unethical practice when it comes to the bill. Last week I had gone for a lunch buffet with a friend - 2 people. The restaurant added 20% tip for a buffet without asking and that to 20% of the total amount including tax. The tip is at discretion for exceptional service AND only on the food items; people dont tip the tax. Mogul demanded it by adding to the bill. In the past, I had noticed that they would add 15% service charge to the bill and then if you run the credit card it would add the tip on top of it. BTW, the food is okay and nothing exceptional either.
google avatar

Lauren M.

Yelp
Everything that we've eaten from here has been very authentic and delicious. The restaurant is in a nice location with a large parking lot and has a nice upscale ambience and a drink menu. The price is a bit high for Indian food, if you were getting take out I would say you could get it from somewhere cheaper and it would be just as good. But if you're looking for a nice place to dine in it is worth the price! The only complaint I have is that they charge an arm and a leg for plain basmati rice. You could go buy a 20 pound bag of basmati rice at the grocery store around the corner for as much as they're charging for a few orders of rice to go with your entrees. (The entrees do not come with rice). Also be prepared to be there for awhile, service is extremely slow even when they aren't busy.
google avatar

Epicure D.

Yelp
Food is good. But automatically applying a tip/service charge of 20 percent to the bill and that too for lunch and for a party of 2 table is completely unacceptable ! Will not visit them again just because of this 20 percent automatic tip issue !! Complete BS !!!

Yelp
Very good food and great service!! Always love coming here! Got Goan Shrimp curry with chili garlic naan and it's my personal favorite

Yelp
Moghul is everyones top indian place in NJ - have been here countless times and have enjoyed the food everytime. Love the tandoori chicken and the chicken tikka!

Yelp
The worst Experience I ever had . The manger was the worst. We had parents with us who were fasting so we were just inquiring that how does the gratuity work . 4 of us were going to have the dinner . We were asked to sit down , We were assigned a table. We started looking at the menu and I realized that we were given water glasses totally different than the other tables . We did not bother about it. Then we started looking at the menu because we had to order for 4 of us. Manger did not like the fact that only 4 out of 6 of us were ordering . So he came to us and asked us to change the table. He was like that you could order at your pace and he did not like that we were only 4 ordering and from the moment we sat I felt he did not like us as we inquired about the gratuity . We are not the resident of NJ and coming from CT , we were not sure how the system here was working. It felt so insulting , as we were all set to order and he came to us as he wanted us to go to the side table . There were other American guests were dining as well. Would he had done such kind of behavior to them ? An Indian doing bad behavior to other Indian ? In this world such a bad mindset when we talk about equality. Is this the customer service ? What does it matter even if the food is good ? Such a bad experience on this Thanksgiving. For sure letting our other friends visiting from CT to boycott this restaurant. I usually don't get upset but this should not happen to any customer in the future.

Yelp
Food was excellent! We made reservations for 5:30pm on a Saturday. This restaurant definitely gets busier closer to 7pm, especially on the weekends so reservations are highly recommended. We ordered the Daal Mahkni, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Biryani, and Chicken Tikka (basically Tandoori chicken). The Daal, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Biryani were all very mild and not spicy, which was appreciated. I'm sure you could ask for a specific spice level. The flavors were excellent, very rich while being complex and full of flavor without relying on spice and heat. Everyone loved it, especially our first-time-Indian-food-trying guests! We also ordered Basmati Rice (2 orders was enough for 5 people). I understand why some people knock this restaurant since we ended up paying 16.50 for 3 orders of Basmati Rice, as it does not come with the entrees. Kind of absurd that a single order of plain rice costs more than their homemade Garlic Naan, but that's just something you have to walk into accepting. Service was also a bit slow, we didn't get our Chicken Tikka (from the Tandoor oven) until we had finished our meals - they said the oven was taking some time to heat up, but it was excellent nonetheless. We had also communities at the start of our meal that we would be placing a takeout order midway through our meal. No one stopped by the entire meal for us to order this, and it wasn't until we had our checks that we were able to place our takeout order. The restaurant was getting busier and busier, and I could tell that staff was itching to get us out of cleared table to seat more guests. However, as we were enjoying each other's company and waiting for our takeout order, we stayed put but I could tell they were getting antsy about it which I feel is a bit wrong. We've done solely takeout before and had no problems, everything traveled well and food was ready on time. Nonetheless, the food is pricey, sure, but the flavors are excellent. We'd defintiely go back again as maybe service and communication was just off the last time we were there

Yelp
Good food, good ambience and good service - especially Larson. He suggested tangdi kabab that turned out to be awesome! Definitely will visit again.

Yelp
Fabulous food. Great service. Awful business practices. You add 18 percent tip and then don't mention it and ask for more tip? Absolutely not. Scumbags.
