Had this place in mind as a spot i wanted to check out at some point so on presidents day i stopped in...such a great spot with cute interior that has 2 levels...very friendly staff! Delaney was awesome and doing it all as it did start to really busy quick...food was so so good and drinks well made and strong!..They had a DJ playing downstairs so ended up at the bar which is a real nice vibe. Igor our bartender was quick, attentive and friendly...overall great time. Coming back very soon!

I had a pretty good lunch here. I just came across this place as a spur of the moment thing looking for a random restaurant to review and this place certainly stood out. The place is certainly huge, it has a 2nd floor but didn't get to see the upper floor because I was seated at the area near the bar on the first floor. The place gets good business since it was fairly crowded but it didn't affect the flow of service in the area. Due to the people in the restaurant I couldn't really get much pictured of inside the area but it definitely has color and the vibe of a Latin Fusion restaurant in full form. My server was a pretty young woman by the name of Andrea and she was very attentive and courteous, ever the busy worker but would occasionally check on me during my time in the restaurant. I ordered Chicken Empanadas as a starter and Chimichurri Chicken as the entree. Food was plated beautifully and tasted just as good as it looked. As far as Latin food goes, certainly Top 5. It looked good and tasted good and sometimes that doesn't always come hand to hand but they did the job here. Another pretty hefty prices lunch, everything w/ tip came up to $40 but I have no complaints. I had a good experience here.

Amazing food and drinks! The shrimp Al Ajillo and shrimp tacos were very flavorful with lots of sauce. Highly recommend the corn riblets and down the hatch ceviche. The place was decorated nicely for the Holidays, very festive. We loved our wonderful server Daniela!! She was very responsive and kept checking on us, as well as being super sweet. Ask to be seated in her section.

Melissa made this experience absolutely amazing! She was so kind & attentive. We tried new things, were recommended items & enjoyed everything! Our drinks were never empty & our belly’s left full. Thank you so much for this experience!

Great place! My husband and me love going there. We have celebrated our birthdays, our wedding, and every time we can bring family and friends for a good time and meal. We love their music and vibes. So happy with their service too. Very easy to reserve your table and they will go far and beyond to help you with any request. The manager is also great, kudos to the whole staff.

The food and drinks were good. I got the churrasco it was tasty, a good size portion. The manager was very attentive and constantly asking us if we were okay. We went with my 11month old baby. They gave us a high chair that was very clean! I been to other places with high chairs in horrible conditions. I also noticed that the bathroom had a changing table!

I came here with a friend for brunch on a Saturday around 12, we didn't have a reservation but were sat immediately. The ambiance in this restaurant is top tier: they really did a great job with the decor. I use to come to this location when it use to be Exo cafe and I have to say Mojo is soooo much prettier! I don't like that they don't have a prefixed brunch menu that includes drinks-boo! For appetizer, we ordered the wings which were delicious. For entrees we ordered the chicken and waffles and the skirt steak and eggs. The chicken came with a bacon cheese dip and it was soooo good! My steak came with a choice of home fries or salad in which I choose the home fries. The steak was nice and tender, cooked to perfection and so flavorful!! For drinks we had a white sangria, red sangria and then I got the froze, my friend got a mojito with the coconut milk. I forgot the name of it. We enjoyed all the drinks however the white sangria wasn't so strong. I'm sure if we got a pitcher, we would have felt it lol I would come back here again and I always recommend this place to friends who are looking for good food.

This restaurant is tucked away in Forest Hills, by the stadium..so after a concert y'all know where to go Also the drinks were bomb We ordered: Guac and Chips Salmon Tartare Tacos ( I haven't had any good fish tacos before...and I know these are not legit but for now these are my fav fish tacos) Cotija Truffle Fries Beef Empanadas Maduros Mojo Punch Guava Spark

The restaurant was decorated beautifully with all those colorful flowers on the wall and our server was extremely friendly. The calamari was really good but could've been crisper and the dipping sauce was exceptional. The Down the Hatch ceviche made for a beautiful presentation with the fried calamari and plantain chips on top with the beautifully orange colored mango salsa base but when you get down to the actual ceviche, it was a bit too sour and too salty. It wasn't bad, but I don't think one person could finish it just based on the salt level alone. We also ordered the shrimp tacos which were delicious, whatever sauce they put on it, was excellent. Just a side-note, they added an 18% gratuity on a party of two. Our server made us aware of this but just in case your server doesn't, be sure to look out for it.

Mojo has such a fun atmosphere and is so colorfully decorated. We came for a late lunch around 4 pm and were seated without a reservation. The two veggie dishes we ordered came quickly and were tasty. Definitely coming back.

I tried a bunch of the appetizers: chips and guac, chicken empanadas, and the Baja shrimp tacos. All three were excellent! Good service and the music/atmosphere was also very lively! Friendly server as well.

Terrible customer service was told for a table for 3 ( including my 3 year old ) 45 min I said ok. Went to the bar grabbed a drink we waited and waited they offered a table literally next to the door that sat 2 people we said no thanks because we were three and all the breeze was hitting that table everytime a person came in . The girl got annoyed and said if you don't take that table you'll be waiting forever. We decided to leave after waiting all that time with my child . Went to Cabanas waited 10 min got sat and food was way better

The food was delish, ample servings, so much so that I was able to take some home! The decor was bright and colorful providing a lovely ambiance and service was friendly, and efficient!

Came here on a Saturday for a ladies brunch to celebrate my sisters birthday. I had made reservations with one of the managers named Lucy during the week. Lucy was very pleasant and helpful with informing me with menu options and any special request we might have had. I chose a pre-fix menu since there were eight of us. It is a two course family style meal. You are able to choose three appetizers and three main main courses. I would have liked to see a dessert option included in the menu. However, the birthday person does get a complimentary cake with a candle. We added the unlimited bottomless drinks option for $20.00 per person for 1.5 hours. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly hostess. The ambiance of this place is beautiful. It is well decorated. Great for photos. We were seated upstairs by the stairs facing down the bar and dj. Dj was playing a mix of music. Music sound is perfect it is not too loud. As soon as our whole party arrived we were served immediately. We had sangria and mimosa. The sangria was delicious and the mimosa was really good. We were served in pitchers. Appetizers came out immediately. For starters, we had fried calamari, guacamole and chips and chicken, and vegan chorizo empanadas. The calamari was absolutely delicious. It was nice and crispy on the outside, and the tartar sauce and pickled onions were really good. Calamari was served with pieces of yuca fries. The empanadas were good, and the guacamole was tasty. For our main entrees, we chose the tres golpes, steak with eggs and chicken, and waffle. The Tres Golpes is Mashed Green Plantains, Pickled onions, Fried Cheese, Fried Salami, Eggs. This was so delicious, the mango was cooked perfectly. The salami tasted delicious. Steak and eggs were really good. Steak is served with chimichurri sauce on top. Steak was tender and very flavorful. Now, onto the chicken and waffles. These waffles are made of sweet plantains. Waffles are served with Butter Milk Fried Chicken Breast and a Sweet Smoked Turkey Gravy. The waffle was delicious on its own. For my sisters complimentary cake, they brought out cuatro leche cake. The cake was moist and delicious. Our overall experience was great. Nice vibes and friendly staff. The food, drinks and music were on point. This is defiently a nice spot for brunch and dinner. A huge thank you to Lucy. You are a doll. Thank you for checking in on us and for your amazing hospitality.

Went on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty busy. Tables were a bit close together so felt it was tight on space but food was good. Group of 4 spent about $120. OF NOTE, for a party of four they automatically added a large group gratuity which correct me if I'm wrong but 4 people is not a large group. And they didn't tell us about it until the end. However, Staff was overall nice. My favorite was probably the pineapple salad. It's a must try!

Came here in a Monday nite w my nephew to celebrate his BD. No reservation & were seated rite away. Def ask for upstairs, it's so very pretty. Enjoyed cocktails & wine. Waitress was beyond helpful w menu suggestions. We had the mojo wings & truffle fries to start. Dinner was a salmon guava sauce dish (lick the plate yummy) & a chicken dish. Dessert was passion fruit cheeesecake w a massive fire work...I didn't even have to ask for the sparkler .they did it all themselves. Utterly love this spot & will def return. Highly recommend!

The Baja Shrimp Tacos here were amazing. The shrimp was crispy, and when I bit into the tacos, they dripped with sauce. I just wish they were larger, especially for the price. The outdoor seating area always catches my eye when I pass by, and I was seated outside. It feels very tropical outside, but the inside is a vibe with the large space and dim lighting. Although it took some time for the food to come out, the service was attentive.

My friend and I went here last night (Thursday) at 9pm for a quick catchup session. I haven't been here since Covid and they have definitely upgraded since then. It's absolutely beautiful in there! We were greeted right away and offered a choice of outdoor or indoor seating, upstairs or downstairs. We chose to sit upstairs. The floral and other decor is soo pretty! The menus are nice and light up when opened! Melissa was our server and she was really nice and attentive. They had a live DJ who played a really good mix of tunes. Drinks: we had the passion fruit margaritas frozen and on the rocks, it was really good. I also had the dragon fruit spritz which I also liked. It had pieces of dragon fruit in it and on the glass. Food: we only had a bunch of appetizers because we were so full by the time we were ready for entrees. We had the calamari which was the absolute best! Perfect balance of crunchy outside but not dry or chewy inside, the sauce was cherry on top. The mojo wings (mango) were good too. Maybe a bit on the pricey side as they're 6 for $17. And the chips and guac, chips were a tad bit too hard but the guac was nice and fresh. Will definitely go back to indulge in some more menu items, especially the entrees and their happy hour, which is until 7pm daily (all day Tuesday).

Mojo Restaurant has a really good response to ambiance. The service is excellent and everything is okay with their seating on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Hey I'd love to try their catering.

They don't give you your table until your full party has arrived but they allow you to sit at the bar and get drinks until then which is nice. Service was good not great. Service was good not great, we kept having to ask for things like salt, pepper and syrup multiple times before they brought them over. My pancakes were really dry without the syrup but still good overall. I asked for my bacon extra crispy and it was perfect. My drink was the star of the show, the passion fruit mula is an absolute hit. My friends enjoyed the Maduro waffles but said it wasn't anything too special. Decor was nice, the bathroom's light is way too dim (candle lit) I get the aesthetics and it looks nice but it was not very practical.

Steak was tough the rice and beans had no taste not a great meal too many sports on TV FOR AMBIANCE

Always our go to date spot in Forest Hills! Amazing food and drinks! Fun ambiance and it's always a great time! Highly recommend! They ate super friendly too :)

Came here for brunch with my aunt for my late bday celebration. We waited around 10 minutes to get a table. We were seated on the second floor which has a nice view of the whole restaurant and bar. The decor is very nice and trendy. They do have good music playing in the background which was not so loud so you could have a conversation. I ordered their sweet plantain waffle with fried chicken; it was actually pretty tasty but it would have been better if the waffles was a little sweeter. My aunt ordered the tres golpes and it was delicious. I ordered their pisco lychee which was good but not very memorable. I really liked their s'more martini, it was rich from the chocolate and strong. Since it was my birthday week, my aunt ordered us a tres leches and it was sweet and decorated beautifully with fruit. The biggest issue was the service, it was very slow and it difficult to keep flagging down the waitress. The food took a really long time to come to the table and the drinks came after the food had arrived. I would come back on a slower day to see if the service is better.

I've ordered food from Mojo a few different times, but my go-to has become their Poblano Friend Chicken Sandwich. It's giant--my husband and I always split it, and delicious. The sandwich consists of a fried chicken cutlet, a hunk of fried cheese, a poblano aioli, and a slaw. It's a MESSY sandwich, but all of the flavors work really well together. It's definitely worth checking out if you like a good chicken sandwich!

Very Prejudice ! Came here on a Friday to pick my order up at some point I was asked by the young woman if " I ordered my food " . Extremely Weird cause that has no relevance to me or Her ! It couldve been a favor I was doing , big question why is it your business tho ? I called on a friday once again , I was on hold then got someone ... I asked a question and was told to hold on ... ok cool. The person comes back & has the nerve to say oh what was your question .. ..You can guess what happened after

Do not come here the bar tenders only take care people they know. If you are new you are going to have a hard time getting service. Food is not that

Had brunch a few weeks ago with friends here, had an overall positive experience and would come back again. Four of us arrived at 12:30pm with reservations on a Sunday and found the restaurant pretty bumping. There's seating outdoors in a covered area along the street, inside first floor, around the bar area on a half floor and upstairs on a second partial floor that overlooks the bar. We were seated upstairs where there were about 7-8 tables. Service was pretty prompt, coming over with menus and water, and giving us a highlight of the day's brunch specials. We ordered: 1) chips and guacamole $11: a good amount of guac with crispy tortilla chips, we asked for more chips to finish the guac and apparently the busboy misheard and thought we didn't want the plate anymore, so the waitress kindly replaced the plate with a new one free of charge. We appreciated the gesture! 2) ropa vieja $22: hearty and solid take on this dish for brunch. The beans and maduros are tasty here. 3) smoked salmon omelette $18: i didn't try this but my friend enjoyed it. 4) chimichurri chicken and shrimp $23(?): shrimp and chicken were just slightly overcooked but the chimichurri sauce was tasty. 5) chilequiles verde $16: eggs were perfectly cooked so that they were a bit runny to mix around with the chips. Think I would've enjoyed it more if the sauce was a bit more hearty, like kinda missing some chunks of tomatillos or something to provide a bit more oomph. For all of the above the portion sizes were decent and all of us left feeling satisfied.

The drinks are well-executed, but the food tends to be overly salty. Unfortunately, the service has noticeably declined. During our visit, we struggled to locate our waitress and had to seek assistance from other servers. It seems this establishment prioritizes elaborate decor over refining its culinary offerings and service standards.

My friend and I came to eat after a movie night and this place was rocky. It's beautiful the flower decorations in the outdoor dome I wanna call it. We ordered empanadas with the side of rice and beans just for a snack and then we finished it off with a beautiful dessert you'll see it below. And JJosh, the waiter was perfect. He was so serviceable and attentative and accommodating. Thank you, Josh..

The food and drinks were so good at this place. I had the steak & a watermelon margarita & both were phenomenal! The server is very nice even though the food took a while to come out but we had no issues ordering a few more drinks in the meantime. We sat in the outside patio, which was decorated so beautifully & created a great atmosphere for a girls night out.

I've been to Mojo but it was very brief, but this time I was able to actually sit down & have a little something. My friend & I came here for some drinks after work during the week & it was fairly empty. Mojo does offer "happy hour" Monday- Thursday with different specials depending on the day. My friend tried their chocolate old fashion & really enjoyed it. I had their passion fruit frozen margarita that was also good. For appetizers we had the guacamole & chips along with the chicken empanadas. The chicken empanadas were good with a flavorful chicken filling & flaky soft dough. I think Mojo is good for dinner or even for drinks. I would probably get some dinner the next time I go.

Ive been coming to Mojo Forest Hills since 2021 and I hosted a big birthday brunch for my best friend, that is when I met Dan one of the managers of the location, he made sure everything went smoothly and his level of customer service surpassed, 4 years later we still come here to celebrate my friends birthday and other occasions as this is the only place we want to come too as we love catching up with Dan. the food, service and staff are great and I'm not surprised as they have great leadership as Dan. thank you guys! Updating for photos. Idk why it didn't upload but this is still one of my top 5 laid back places to go to for a drink and appetizers . I prefer brunch when I go for the food. The steak and eggs are great. I wasn't a fan of the mojo chicken. Empanadas are top tier and my go to is any drink watermelon here. Service is safe . Nothing to really write about but ambience, music and vibe- always on point. I love it here . It's a classicz basic spot that you come to dressed up or dressed down. Date night or out with friends solo or with a group.

The food was good but it could have been better when it came to certain items. I highly recommend the empanadas so good. That salad I had was amazing but I had an issue with side and if you add. Protein it's more than the salad itself that brought my grade down. And you're paying almost the same amount as in dinner if the portion sizes are bigger at dinner then just go for dinner. (Lunch was not worth it even though the food was good. The ambience was amazing nicely decorated in smoke areas the music was louder then other so sometimes conversation was hard to hear with certain music. But the vibe was amazing Now service our waiter was so nice very respectable and helpful. He had a great personality and gave suggestions when we asked what he would recommend and for the most part he was available when needed just one time we had to wait for a while once we got our food when we wanted extra dressing it was hard to find him but he was a really good waiter. His name was Joshua I would recommend going just for his service . Overall would I go again maybe. I would grade Service A (all staff was nice even the gentlemen who kept refilling our water ) Food B (portions) Price C (not worth it for lunch being honest) I went home hungry) Ambience A I would want to try a dinner service to compare! I came here a while ago and this place was fantastic. However, this time, the service had gone completely down the drain. The restaurant wasn't crowded at all. However, they ended not having great service. My appetizers plate was absolutely dirty. When I asked for a new one, they just forgot to bring one. Twenty minutes later the entrees were already out. The staff never filled our water glasses. I wouldn't have had much of an issue with the service, but they also automatically add 18% to the receipt. We ordered the veggie tostadas to share and they were fantastic. I also ended up getting the arroz con pollo. The serving was very generous and I had so much food left over to take with me. food tasted good but felt like the service was rushing us to leave when it wasn't even that packet. they constantly came to check our plates and basically the second i put my fork down after finishing, someone came to ask to clear my plate. it felt a bit weird to me but aside from that, the place itself has a cute interior and lots of seating. it seems like a popular brunch spot as i started to see more guests arrive after we finished our meal

Before you even attempt to enjoy the food, remember that the goal of the staff is to kick you out as soon as possible. We walked in and the first thing we noticed is the lead staff arguing. The lady reminded us that we only have 90 minutes to eat. Okay? Then, after we had a bite the server says she has to close our table, "so sorry guys". What was the point of that? To collect tips? Automatic gratuity? What happened to the 90 minutes? Should have just asked us to order take-out. We might have had a total of 15 minutes to eat the overly greasy food. So keep that in mind before you come here thinking you will at least be allowed to enjoy the food. Will definitely not be bringing friends back here, so disappointing. The future looks bleak for Mojo restaurant.

Once I walked in I just felt that the food was going to be pleasing. Greeted once we walked in with smiles and immediately seated. It was a full house especially in a Sunday night but the service was very quick. I started with the passion fruit mojito which was very well made and refreshing. The calamari was slightly salty but it could've been just me but I still enjoyed it with pickled onions and yucca underneath and that special sauce amazing. The skirt steak was cooked to perfection well seasoned, plantains were perfectly sweetened, and the white rice was so good I didn't need any gravy. I really ended it here the service was exceptional and the ambiance was very nice. I highly recommend.

My third time at Mojo and they never miss! Me and my girls LOVE this spot. We always come during the week after work. The music is good and the service is always on point. Yesterday our server Eric was on point, he was friendly, patient and helpful. He explained the drink specials to us and made sure we had everything we needed all evening. Now on to the food- We always share the latin fried rice as an app, it's sooo good! In addition to that we always get the classic guac and this time we tried the Mac and cheese with chorizo. The Mac and cheese was amazing! For entrees we got the lomo, it's our favorite. For drinks I loved the Pink Flamingo (froze + margarita) 10/10. I didnt take any pictures of the good because I was just having such a great time. Gooo !!! You won't be disappointed.

Came here for bottomless brunch on a Saturday at 1p and there was not a big crowd! They had the choice of bottomless sangria (red or white), Bellini, or mimosa. It was a 90 minute bottomless for $20. In my opinion, the server was slow in pouring and getting us drinks. It was quicker for mimosas and bellinis bc it was in a pitcher. But they can't leave the pitcher on the table. Food was good and hefty portion.

This is such a cute spot for drinks and/or food. They have great cocktails and the service is quick. The guac is really good and so are the tostadas. The bar has TVs and a cute happy hour.

No wait! Food was so good! Ambience is modern chic! I will be back again to try more items off the menu!

This is my happy place! These drinks will do the job every time, they are sooo good, and the food is finger licking good. Ive been here with a group of 12, 4 and even 2 and every single time it does nit disappoint. You will get a bang for your buck if you come for your birthday and work out a deal with management so if your looking for a place this is it!

We came here for dinner. Great food, drinks and atmosphere. Very attentive and a positive attitude the entire time from our waitress, she gave us plenty of time to figure out what to order and recommended us favorites. Also, tip of 18% was already included in the bill. If you're ever in the Forest Hills area you should visit Mojo!

Forest Hills has some pretty great eats, and Mojo is definitely one of them. I came here with a friend for weekday brunch, and was seated quickly on the 2nd floor.We tried their "Down the Hatch" ceviche, veggie tostada, and the egg white veggie frittata. The ceviche was topped with fried calamari, and is a mixture of raw white fish, shrimp. and calamari. It was also somewhat awkward to eat because it was served in a big glass bowl, so you had to eat all the calamari before you could get down to the ceviche itself, which I found too saucy. However, the flavors did go well together. The veggie tostada was ok, definitely saltier than I would like, but generous on the toppings. My favorite was the egg white frittata, which was pretty healthy considering it was egg whites, without tasting TOO healthy. The sweet potatoes added a nice balance, and the zucchini noodles were refreshing. Service was speedy as well, and they bring the check over on a portable screen which reduces the back and forth from paying the bill. The tables for the 2 seats were kind of small though. I asked if we could sit on a 4 seat table (note that the restaurant was almost empty) but they said no (which I guess is understandable).

Are you ready for the 411? Here we go...we took my husband here for Father's Day! It was a group of six and the restaurant was quite busy. We had reservations and was able to be seated outside. We enjoyed ourselves and the food was delicious. Although busy, they were able to serve us relatively quickly. The drinks were tasty and very good. Check them out when you are in the area.

Mojo is always a good time and even without reservations I've always been seated without a wait, service is quick and it's a great vibe for any occasion. Food never disappoints.

Went for Saturday Lunch/Brunch. Had an order of the Mojo wings with a side of the black beans and rice. Friend had the Ropa Vieja. We both had the bottomless peach Bellini. The staff were nice and made sure we had good service. The DJ was playing nice music. Small place but great vibe.

Love this place. We stopped in for dinner. Cute place beautifully decorated. The drinks are great and strong. The service is friendly and the food is delicious. What we got: Apps Chicken taquitos Calamari Main Jumpin Saltado Winter salmon Drinks Coco mojo Frozenlini All was good but my fave was those chicken taquitos they are like a chicken taco it was sooo good.

A guest and I arrived here to have some dinner and must say this place delivered, it was a Sunday so parking on street side was fairly easy but this neighborhood is typically busy so arrive a bit earlier. First walked in and must say this place definitely has a chill vibe and the music and layout was nice. We were seated upstairs on a nice lil circular couch layout with a table and the waitress and staff were very helpful. I've order the mojo wings for starters which tasted great not spicy but were good the Ropa Vieja was also good and again the flavor was a bit cut back but again I'm super Hispanic and huge on slammed flavors where this plate was a bit moderate to someone like me but again considering the neighborhood this dish delivered. also see I've attached a photo of the finger on the couch because when you are enjoying a good time with your guest you'd like for them to be able to kick back and not be dusty and again this place was great. To the owner and staff I will say this only one small issue I had. Was that when having a birthday celebration try and use less candles or ones that don't cause an after burn smell on the second floor. Although we weren't eating at the moment other guest on the top floor I'm sure smelled it and felt as if the after burn of candle felt trapped on the floor for a minute or 2. Well hope my review has helped others choose to eat here and I shall be returning back.

Looks like we there was a mixed up with the reservation for Mother's Day and sat us by the bar. When I told them I had a minor on the table the manager and the hostess set up a table upstairs and gave us a complimentary drinks on the house for the wait. The service was great they were all super nice. I like the 3 golpes and the churrro pancakes are to die for. I love the music and the atmosphere at mojo, I think this is my new favorite brunch spot.
