unfortunately wasn't nearby the capitol hill location so we decided to stop by this location near columbia city instead. not sure if the quality ranges from location to location, but i do feel like this could've been a genuine 5/5 review if the ice cream was more creamy!
- notes -
both cash and card are accepted!
has a bathroom at the back
you can get a split scoop for the exact same price as a single scoop, which ~$6.25. it's definitely worth it since you get two different flavors for the price of one. i'm not sure if the portion given in a split scoop is actually more than the single scoop, but it did seem big enough to share.
- atmosphere -
the inside of this shop is super cute! there are a few tables inside where you can eat, but it does seem like it would get crowded easily. the pastel interior decor gives off super cute vibes and it's a great place to take some pictures!
- overall experience -
came by at around 4:30 pm on a saturday afternoon and there was a sign posted on the door saying "i'll be back in 30 minutes!". it seemed quite inconvenient at the time, but there were already a few people waiting right outside the shop. thankfully, we only had to wait around 5 minutes before we were let into the shop. not sure if this place is understaffed, but the same person who was taking the payments/orders was the one scooping the ice cream. so, the line moved relatively slowly. but, the worker was really friendly so we didn't mind!
- recommendations -
highly recommend that you must try their yeti ice cream!

-yeti: this is one of molly moon's most popular flavors for a valid reason. it has a sweet cream ice cream base with swirls of homemade vanilla bean caramel, homemade yeti granola, and theo chocolate bits. their granola mix is made of pumpkin seeds, pumpkin seed butter, rolled oats, honey, and salt, which complimented each other so well. the best part of this ice cream had to be that each bite had tons of crunch to it! however, i could tell that the ice cream itself was on the icy side, and it did get a bit sweet after a few bites. -strawberry shortcake: this is one of their seasonal flavors for the month of august. it has a sweet cream ice cream base with freshly baked buttery scones and homemade organic strawberry jam! i really loved how refreshing this flavor was; the strawberries tasted so fresh and the flavor overall was not artificial tasting at all. but the real downside of this i couldn't really taste the scones and the ice cream was so icy! i was really disappointed because this would've tasted so much better had it been creamy.
