Google
Our go-to place to get ice cream, I love their matcha strawberry whenever it comes back in the summer. My partner really likes the earl grey tea ice cream. Workers there are always super nice. The company treats the workers well with good wages. I have nothing bad to say. It's a great place to get ice cream. Their merchandise is also really cute, I've been eyeing their pins for a while, but that money could be spent on more ice cream!

Google
Molly Moon was magical. Salted caramel on top and cookies & cream on the bottom while humming Luther by Kendrick Lamar. This girl is a happy camper, you can say that I am over the moon about Molly Moon. The restaurant has an old school charm on the outside and modern glam on the inside. Best of both worlds. You can't go wrong with a scoop or two at Molly Moon!

I was visiting from New York for the week and stopped in here all but one night (only because we were out too late). Everyday the staff were all so friendly despite the long lines and sometimes ruder clientele that may have walked in. The ice cream was genuinely the best I’ve ever had. They also were accommodating with me wanting to add some of the blueberry compote to Mollys Favorite Sundae ( 10/10 would recommend ). I haven’t stopped thinking about it. I got a hat but regret not grabbing more merchandise I’ve been talking about this as the highlight of my trip. If you’re in the area you have no reason not to stop in. A pleasant note as well to learn that the employees are paid a fair wage. Can’t think of a single thing I didn’t enjoy about my time at this establishment. It will be a while before I’m here again but I hope for your continued success!

Google
Pretty good chocolate shake, better than the chains. There's a long line, so it was about a 20 minute waite to get the shake. Cost was about $11. A nice feature of shopping here is that the shop ownership pays higher wages, so you don't have to deal with the awkwardness of tipping. For those not used to the environmentally-friendly straws, it's nice to be able to use sustainable products, but be aware the straws are very brittle.

Went to Molly Moon's Homemade Ice Cream. It was a nice day here in Seattle. Got a Cookie and Cream Waffle Cone 🍦. Super delicious and very fresh tasting. The atmosphere was very pleasant and cozy! Also, outstanding customer service!!! Highly recommended!!! Love love love it 😍!!!

Google
My first Molly Moon’s! Why is the ice cream so gas!! We tried the salted caramel, honey lavender, and vegan coconut. All have a great depth of flavor, especially the salted caramel. Will think about this ice cream 4ever

Google
Strawberry Ice Cream: 10/10. Hospitality: Missing. Showed up at 10:30pm on a Tuesday for a late-night ice cream fix. At 10:45, a staff member decided I’d had enough joy for one night and told me they were closed—while other people waltzed in and got served like VIPs. Apparently, the ice cream is for everyone… except me? If you’re craving fresh strawberry ice cream packed with real fruit and a side of attitude, this is your spot. But if you’re hoping to sit down without getting passive-aggressively kicked out, maybe try a place where “customer service” isn’t just a myth.

Google
It was our first time in Seattle. My wife and I met some friends for dinner in the Colombia City area and were looking for dessert. Luckily for us, Molly Moon’s was close by. The young man behind the counter was welcoming and friendly, offering us a sample of their different options and just being an overall nice person. The Yeti was by far the top choice for the night. We liked it so much we returned on our last night in town to try another flavor. Just as nice the second time around. If you’re in the Seattle area, this is the place for ice cream.

Yelp
Best ice cream in Seattle, people are always welcoming to serve you & its mission statement is true to Seattle! A great community favorite and must try if you Love ice cream!!

Yelp
I love the vibe and the ethos of Molly Moon. The creativity of flavors? Outstanding! The friendliness and efficiency of the staff? Also fabulous. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars? The ice cream itself. I was left with a strange waxy film in my mouth after each bite. It was really odd. I'll definitely give it another go next time I'm in the neighborhood, ice cream is my favorite food group, hoping that this was a one-off texture issue. Update: Thanks for following up, Molly! I had the Molly's favorite sundae. Im wondering if the mouth feel was from the ice cream or the whipped cream. Nevertheless, the next time I'm back in your side of the water I'll be back for another go around. The Orange Creamsicle looks delicious!

Yelp
If I could choose a corner to live on to satisfy my cravings, it would be right here in Columbia City to have access to my fav Seattle combo: Molly Moons Ice Cream & Olympia Coffee. I would say this location has the most generous seating options. Super cool staff as always and the best seasonal flavors hands down.

Yelp
My friend and I came here for an after dinner treat on a Friday evening. There was a short line to get our ice cream, but it wasn't bad! The line moved promptly. I got the cookies and cream kid's scoop in a sugar cone. The ice cream was very good with the chunks of cookie prominent. The cone was good as well. I'll be sure to come back!
google avatar

Jaime Y.

Yelp
I love their seasonals and some of their always flavors. I wish that munchie moons was an always flavors, but oh well. It's so good! We go like once a month, and I tend to order a lot from Door Dash.

Gina K.

Yelp
I love Molly moons because I feel like it is from somewhere else because it is so good oh and the service is awesome I just love this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yelp
I love ice cream. It is my number one favorite desert. I've been obese twice in my life, now a personal trainer and in good health so I appreciate your initial concern. That said, I'd get Molly's once a week if I lived nearby. Both the flavors and servicing sizes are right up my alley. Love the inclusivity and, I believe, proper wages these place exudes. The service has been perfect during both our visits within the last month. The vibe is chill. Highly recommend this place especially if you love ice cream and living.

Yelp
Lovely, friendly and clean - I appreciate their inclusivity and the quality of the ice cream!

Yelp
I have tried Molly Moon homemade ice cream in CH, and my husband want to have a try. This time I asked which flavor is the least sweet and the staff recommend the sweet cream. This simple flavor highlights the purity of local dairy with a touch of sugar and salt. They use only fresh, local and hormone-free milk and cream. Not bad but still sweet if you don't eat it immediately.
google avatar

Yelp
This was the best end of day treat. I got the cookie dough and strawberry ice cream with hot fudge and hazelnut toppings. It went great together and it was perfect after a day at Seward Park. My nephew thoroughly enjoyed his chocolate ice cream with rainbow sprinkles and my cousins split a sundae. This shop is so cute and their customer service is awesome. I definitely recommend to stop, try their seasonal flavors, or stick the originals. Either way, you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
This is such an adorable ice cream shop! It was such a sweet shop (pun intended). They advertise as being homemade ice cream and as someone who does not live near any place that makes homemade ice cream, I knew I had to come here. We tried the mocha chip and the melted chocolate and they were delicious. If I had spent longer in the area, I would definitely return here and try out the other flavors - but they all sounded great. Service was also friendly and efficient.
google avatar

Rob E.

Yelp
Great ice cream! The flavors are a little more mainstream since they opened but none the less very well made. We like that they've a monthly rotation of new items in addition to their standard menu. The staff is pleasant, attentive and very efficient making the lines move quickly.
google avatar

Yelp
I've been to this Molly Moon's location twice now and both times I've gotten great scoops of ice cream. The first time I had their sweet cream, which is one of their always available options. I also have had their Sasquatch, which is a seasonal option that comes with chocolate, granola, and chocolate bits. A classic simple sweet cream is so delicious, and their version here is no exception. The Sasquatch was a fun try, and as a chocolate fan it was nice to have this with a bit of crunch from the granola. I'm excited to come back to they their new seasonal offerings soon.

Yelp
Well, Yeti is the flavor to get. Hands down. Melted chocolate was OK. Nothing to write home about. But Yeti, with its granola chew, chocolate chunk crunch, and caramel ribbon is heavenly hash. Impressive that Molly donates 10% of her profits to the community. Also impressive that the cups, spoons, and napkins are compostable and that she provides premium-free health care insurance to her employees. I would like to try other items, like their sundaes and shakes and maybe bump it up a star. Currently only walkup orders. Card only. No samples given (which is a shame and another reason for docking a star--how are you supposed to choose your flavor besides blindly?). Street parking only, so if it's a busy day, be prepared to park and walk. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

Yelp
Best ice cream I have ever had. Full stop. The cookies and cream with oatmeal cookies and cinnamon ice cream is sublime. You pay a little more, but so worth it.
google avatar

Yelp
The ice cream was delicious! I got the strawberry shortcake and I really enjoyed the little chunks of cake in it. The pricing is cheap considering the servings are huge!
google avatar

Allie O.

Yelp
Deliciouso! I love the ice cream and service here. I ordered a butter pecan and cookies and cream on a waffle cone. It was a large scoop and was plenty delicious.
google avatar

Jamie J.

Yelp
Unique ice cream flavors and friendly about giving samples. Big scoops if ice cream when ordering a waffle cone - next time I am sharing!
google avatar

Jeanelle B.

Yelp
Of course, I love trying ice cream! My friends recommended I try the Honey Lavender flavor, so that I did, kids scoop. This was good and I like the fact that it's not super sweet. No cash accepted and street parking only for this location.
google avatar

Gabrielle Q.

Yelp
Molly Moons ice cream is so delicious! I had Molly Moons last time I was in Seattle a few years ago and had to get Molly Moons again while I was in town! I had Honey Lavender ice cream in a cone and you could really taste the honey and lavender flavors without it being too over powering. The flavors blended together perfectly. At this location, you order up at the window. There was a pretty long line outside but it moved very fast.

Yelp
I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Ice Scream!!! Ok, if you are not screaming right now for some Ice Cream, You've. Got. Problems. The only problem I had the day I went into Molly Moon's was which flavor of Ice Cream I wanted in my waffle cone. During summer of Twenty 19' I flew up to Seattle to attend my nieces graduation from UDub. A few days after the ceremonies and before heading back to LaLa land, we went out as a family before everyone headed to the airport. We had a nice casual lunch at Geraldines Counter (review to come) then walked off our lunch as we still had some time to kill before our late afternoon flight. As we walked the street, there it was, the answer to everyone's question, what were we going to do for dessert! Molly Moons homemade Ice Cream was just what we needed after a delicious lunch and it was the perfect summer time snack on that beautiful June day. Here's what's cool as ice cream about Molly Moons: While waiting in line, I was throughly impressed by what I saw. The simplistic menu, showcasing both "seasonal flavors" & " always flavors" as well as their "no tip" policy as they declare it's their responsibility, not the customers responsibility to pay a fair wage to its employees. While eating my ice cream I looked further into Molly Moons and I was humbled by how they truly value their customers, but more importantly the employees that staff their stores. The benefits given to their employees, the living wage offered and how much they give back to their community is something you do not often see in small Businesses. I applaud small chains like this that not only serve a high quality product, but take care of those who are truly the face of the company. Well done Molly Moons, I tip my hat to you.

Yelp
Being of this community I am hurt & upset with how my family was treated and moreover the lack of empathy they were provided. My daughter spent a good portion of her day ( this particular day) finishing chores for spring cleaning and as a reward we were going to celebrate with ice cream. Prior to making any promises, I looked up the business hrs of Molly Moon's (on the website it says 10p & on yelp it says 11p). That said, my family and I were on our way to meet up at Molly's around 9:10-9:15p. Now typically this is bedtime, but given the fact it was spring break we made an exception. Unfortunately, we were greeted inside the business by a staff member who informed us that they were closing early due to short staffing. Meanwhile, there were people still eating ice cream and presumably the friends of this employee waiting on the sideline. My daughter was in tears & they didn't acknowledge her, or share any emphatic response to a little girl distraught. I understand the limitations that exist within the hospitality/restaurant environment, but the sheer fact there was no humanistic response to a 6 yr old is utterly ridiculous and downright hurtful. Seeking to understand or recognize a person's feelings, even if the decision is already cemented still matters. Obviously this is not detrimental to my kid's development, but as a member of this community (born, raised, working, volunteering and proudly representing it) I know we are better than this.

Yelp
that ice cream here is so freaking good it's unbelievable. I got a waffle cone with cookie dough and Oreo. Excellent excellent ice cream. The service could've been a little bit better but it wasn't bad or anything. The ambience is really charming. I highly recommend this place. This is some of the best ice cream I've had in a long time.

Yelp
Came here on a Monday night and there was a line almost out the door. This place is popular! I was actually glad there was a little bit of a wait so I could decide what I wanted. There are so many options of ice cream and topping combos. Ended up getting a double scoop with one scoop being Yeti and one scoop being half Union Coffee and Melted Chocolate. The Yeti was delicious. I believe the flavor is a sweet cream base with caramel, chucks of chocolate and their granola. So yummy! Overall, I would definitely recommend trying Molly Moon's if you're ever in the mood for ice cream. My friend also said their Scout Mint is really good, so I definitely have to try that one next time I come. They do offer some vegan/dairy free ice cream, but I do wish they offered more flavors! But if you love your dairy, this is the place to be!
google avatar

Mike R.

Yelp
One of my favorite ice cream stops in Seattle. I had the honey lavender which I usually get when we stop here. My daughter had the strawberry with the sprinkles. I probably wouldn't get the sprinklers again because they are rather hard for a young child's teeth. Due to Covid it is walk up only and there's no sitting in front but that is OK because if you head right down the street across from PCC there is an urban park with plenty of folding chairs and benches!
google avatar

Renee M.

Yelp
I scream.. you scream. We all scream for (Molly moon's) ice cream. I love Molly moon's so much so I drove 30 mins in traffic on a lazy Sunday afternoon to have a kids scoop of Molly moon's ;) I like trying new flavors wherever they are out. This time I tried the new Stracciatella. It was nice and milky with balanced Choco chips mixed in it. I topped it off with my favorite hot fudge (if you haven't tried the hot fudge, you're seriously missing out!). The result voila! Yum yum yum all the way. Thank you to the kind server for giving me a lot of hot fudge.
google avatar

Yelp
Molly Moons has solid ice cream. Love this location bc you just walk up get your ice cream and go! I tried their Strawberry Cheesecake and would recommend to any cheesecake lovers out there. Such cute designs on their cups and the employees are so kind!

Yelp
Has Molly Moon's gone downhill in the past year? I came to this location almost exactly one year ago and loved it, but today my experience was mediocre at best. This local ice cream shop makes all of their products in house, and have several locations in Seattle. This one in Columbia City is bright, colorful, and conveniently located next door to a lovely independent movie theater, and steps from a plethora of restaurants and bars. The place was suspiciously empty on a Saturday night in the summer. I was slightly disappointed to find that the only vegan flavor they had was the Vegan Scout Mint-the same exact vegan flavor that I tried here a year ago. I got a single scoop, and was shocked at how poor the quality was compared to what I remembered. The base was watery and flavorless, with a unpleasantly gummy texture. A subtle peppermint extract flavor was present, but overpowered by chalky shards of Thin Mint Girl Scout cookies (hence the name). The only enjoyable part was the house made sugar cone, which tasted fresh and full of brown sugar flavor. I initially assumed that just the vegan flavor had been compromised, but my boyfriend and his friend (who got non-vegan flavors), quickly admitted that they were equally underwhelmed. They agreed that the texture was strangely icy, and that the flavors were lacking. The employees were friendly, but inexperienced in scooping ice cream-my cone was empty, with a giant messy scoop on the top. With so many other fantastic artisan ice cream establishment in Seattle, I have no reason to return.

Yelp
YUM! Gluten free/ vegan "Coconut Chocolate Chunk" ice cream with vegan chocolate hard shell! Also have seasonal vegan option as well. DELICIOUS!
google avatar

Jill K.

Yelp
Nothing beats a REALLY GOOD chocolate icecream like the way Molly Moon does it! I am so happy there's an icecream shop in Columbia City, let alone a Molly Moon shop!! I ordered the Molly Moon sundae which consists of melted chocolate icecream & salted caramel icecream with hazelnuts, hot fudge & homemade whipped cream. Need I say more??
google avatar

Becky R.

Yelp
Definitely a different kinda ice cream! Love the texture but the flavors weren't your average flavor. It's more savory than sweet! My kids didn't like salted caramel at all. But we liked cookies & cream, cherry chunk was good as well! Scout mint was also a winner! Loved walking up to a window to order! Great location!

Yelp
rating: 4.25/5 unfortunately wasn't nearby the capitol hill location so we decided to stop by this location near columbia city instead. not sure if the quality ranges from location to location, but i do feel like this could've been a genuine 5/5 review if the ice cream was more creamy! - notes - both cash and card are accepted! has a bathroom at the back you can get a split scoop for the exact same price as a single scoop, which ~$6.25. it's definitely worth it since you get two different flavors for the price of one. i'm not sure if the portion given in a split scoop is actually more than the single scoop, but it did seem big enough to share. - atmosphere - the inside of this shop is super cute! there are a few tables inside where you can eat, but it does seem like it would get crowded easily. the pastel interior decor gives off super cute vibes and it's a great place to take some pictures! - overall experience - came by at around 4:30 pm on a saturday afternoon and there was a sign posted on the door saying "i'll be back in 30 minutes!". it seemed quite inconvenient at the time, but there were already a few people waiting right outside the shop. thankfully, we only had to wait around 5 minutes before we were let into the shop. not sure if this place is understaffed, but the same person who was taking the payments/orders was the one scooping the ice cream. so, the line moved relatively slowly. but, the worker was really friendly so we didn't mind! - recommendations - highly recommend that you must try their yeti ice cream! 8/20/22 -yeti: this is one of molly moon's most popular flavors for a valid reason. it has a sweet cream ice cream base with swirls of homemade vanilla bean caramel, homemade yeti granola, and theo chocolate bits. their granola mix is made of pumpkin seeds, pumpkin seed butter, rolled oats, honey, and salt, which complimented each other so well. the best part of this ice cream had to be that each bite had tons of crunch to it! however, i could tell that the ice cream itself was on the icy side, and it did get a bit sweet after a few bites. (4.5/5) -strawberry shortcake: this is one of their seasonal flavors for the month of august. it has a sweet cream ice cream base with freshly baked buttery scones and homemade organic strawberry jam! i really loved how refreshing this flavor was; the strawberries tasted so fresh and the flavor overall was not artificial tasting at all. but the real downside of this i couldn't really taste the scones and the ice cream was so icy! i was really disappointed because this would've tasted so much better had it been creamy. (4/5)

Yelp
If you post a sign that says you're open till 11, don't close at 10:50.. we drove from Lynwood to try your ice cream and it was such a disappointment to see your staff had closed early

Yelp
Here from Montana. My wife told me about this place before we showed up so we had to give it a try.

Yelp
Love this spot in Columbia City - if you're ever looking for an afternoon or after dinner dessert on a summer evening, Molly Moon's is a no brainer as long as you're not in a hurry because there will be a line / wait. The honey lavender is my go to because is unique. I also enjoy the earl grey (wish the earl grey flavor was more intense). My absolutely favorite is the stumptown coffee (if you're a coffee lover - you will love this ice cream). Highly recommend Molly Moon's. They have to-go pints and quarts too if you want to entertain family and friends at the house.
google avatar

Kelly C.

Yelp
High quality ice cream served in a very aesthetic shop. The flavors offered here are super unique and unlike anything I've tried. Some included earl grey tea, black sesame, and honey lavender. I opted for the vegan option (coconut with chocolate chunks) since I'm lactose intolerant. My boyfriend ordered a little sundae with the lemon curd and sprinkles. The sprinkles were super crunchy and added a fun texture whereas the lemon curd was sour and smooth. Would highly recommend trying out their unique ice cream flavors!

Yelp
Had a wonderful experience with MM the other night. Staff were very helpful when asking what non dairy flavors they have and even showed one that wasn't on the board. We ended up with the vegan flavor of the month, sweet mint, and the temporary Stumptown coffee that they also had a vegan option of on hand. The mixture of the flavors was really good as the ST had a good coffee flavor and the SM had real mint leaf flavor in it. The only down side was the vegan chocolate shell was bitter chocolate and they were out of coconut whip. Otherwise it was really creamy and delicious. Also, the double with one scoop of each flavor was well enough for 2 ppl to share. It would have been so much with just me as they put big scoops in the cups.
google avatar

Sunny H.

Yelp
My favorite ice cream place! Honey lavender - yes please. Scout mint - yes please. Early grey - oh yes please. While every flavor is delicious and dreamy, my favorite is honey lavender. Perhaps because it's so unique and no other ice cream places carry this flavor. Now - Molly Moon, will you please open one in Bellevue? Yes, there's one in Redmond, but I want one in Bellevue. May I suggest Factoria Mall where there is plenty of space??

Yelp
I scream for ice cream...in Columbia City! Yay for the new Molly Moon's location in an awesome neighborhood! My friends and I came here on a Sunday afternoon and expected a long line since it's the newest location for Molly Moon's, but fortunately - there was no line! This MM is located near Starbucks and Ark Lodge, so the location is great for all those hanging out in Columbia City, since it's along the business corridor. The staff was super friendly. We tried the Salted Toffee, which one of the employees said was his favorite, which turned out to be super yummy! Since my friend from Arizona was visiting, it was his first time at Molly Moon's, so the employee helped him decide on what flavor to get, went over toppings, etc... Great service. During my visit here I tried the Salted Toffee and got hot fudge with it in a waffle cone. The only minor issue with my cone was that the server put some of the hot fudge before the ice cream in the cone, so it was at the bottom of the waffle cone. Eventually, the waffle cone started to unfold from the heat of the fudge and unravel, so ended up not finishing some of the ice cream since it was too difficult to eat, with the cone falling apart and ice cream spilling from the bottom. If you're a chocolate topping fan - I recommend getting the cold chocolate sauce that turns into a hard shell if you're getting your ice cream in a cone. Glad Molly Moon's is in Columbia City now! It'll definitely be a stop whenever I'm in the area.

Yelp
Came here one day hoping to get a scout mint chocolate ice cream cake as advertised in the email. Unfortunately, they don't have it at the store anymore. I got the feeling that the staff did not know what I was asking about. At first she said we don't have it. Then I told her about the email I received and then she said, oh yeah we ran out of those very quickly. I decided to get a single scoop of ice cream with two flavors scout mint and melted chocolate. The staff gave me the smallest scoop ever!!! She did not even fill the ice cream to the edge of the cup. Very disappointed with the customer service. I usually go to the one in Capitol Hill and most staff were much nicer and friendly there. It's also hard to find parking as well. It's a crowded area with a small road and a lot of traffic passing by. I would rather go to Capitol Hill. I don't recommend this place.

Yelp
Same Molly Moon's ! Still carries good icecream. Nice, friendly staffs. I gave them 3 stars because it didn't have enough sitting area. very small shop, compare to other locations.

Yelp
First time trying Molly Moon's. I'm so happy they finally opened one here in Seattle... specifically Columbia City which is closer by my home. The heavenly smell that hits you once you walk through the door is enough to make you to move in! Molly Moon's Ice Cream serves up serious scoops of delicious all-natural ice creams with some of the creative seasonal flavors you have ever heard of. I have already written about Full Tilt Ice Cream which is also fabulous. Molly Moon's is a little more traditional, less edgy, but the ice cream is the highest quality and interesting flavors. Adorable little shop. Sort of an upscale version of an ice cream shop. Love the concept of using local ingredients and seasonal items. Fun, different flavors. The ice cream is weird but it sparks your curiosity. Best part is that they let you try the flavors before you decide which one. I had the Earl Grey Tea ice cream. I tried a sample of the Honey Lavender. It was just perfect paired with honey, not too sweet.. My daughter had Strawberry and it tasted fresh. The price was more than reasonable. A must try! The staff were excellent, knowledgeable, and attentive. The staff is cheerful - even when you ask for multiple samples. They were quick to offer samples. They do half-and-half scoops if you're indecisive about what flavour you want! They also have gift cards and t-shirts and sweatshirts. If you want good dessert place, you should definitely go to Molly Moon's! Their ice cream is rich, creamy and you get your money's worth.

Yelp
Our ice cream wishes came true when this shop opened up in our neighborhood in summer 2017. My excuse is that my 3-year old loves ice cream. But I like ice cream too. Right now, they have their black sesame on their seasonal menu. And OMG, it's amazing. Last year, Din Tai Fung was serving a few exclusive Molly Moon's ice cream flavors and black sesame was one of them. We used to get a scoop with dinner. And then have them pack a scoop to-go to take home. Now, we can just get pints directly from Molly Moon's! This shop doesn't really get long lines, or so busy that you can't find a seat. And though Full Tilt used to be our favorite neighborhood ice cream shop, it was inevitable that Molly Moon's would steal that spot.

Yelp
Hearty amounts of sumptuous Ice Cream. Always a line, always worth the wait. Well kept section of town that is easy to park and get around. Suburban Fremont without the squalor.

Yelp
We came here about 30 mins before closing and the workers were not feeling it - they looked really annoyed when we walked in so it made me feel uncomfortable asking for samples and talking to them. I tried the stumptown coffee and honey lavender but ended up going with the cookie dough. The coffee just tasted like regular coffee and the honey lavender tasted like a flower. The cookie dough was nice since it had cookie bits in it and some pieces of chocolate but it was a little too sweet after a while of eating it. I got a kid's scoop in a waffle cone ($5.01) and it was really big. It was the equivalent to a regular single scoop anywhere else really. This place was average. I don't think I would come back here. I'm visiting from CA and a local told us that Molly's was overrated and I agree.

Yelp
No lines! Sunny afternoon and I came in and was wiggling out like a bunny's tail! It is sort of hidden, but there were no people lining outside MM's, like at their other locations. I was in and out in a flash. The only drawback was that there weren't a lot of flavors to choose from when I bought some containers. Growing pains, I'm sure, but I'm a fan.

Yelp
I love Molly Moon's ice cream forever and ever! And I am so glad they have moved a little bit closer to my area. The Columbia City branch is brand new and very cute, especially the colorful mural inside! I'm so glad I don't have to commute all the way to Capitol Hill anymore to get some of this deliciousness! I also love the smell of the place - fresh waffle cones! I ordered their seasonal strawberry shortcake and scout mint and both were equally tasty. The strawberry shortcake wasn't too sweet and you could really taste the strawberry. The scout mint was as refreshing as always. My other Molly Moon favorite is the stumptown coffee - my favorite coffee ice cream ever. No one can beat the strong ass coffee flavor in this ice cream - I love it! It's almost as if your fresh hot brewed coffee quickly turned into ice cream. The staff was very attentive and helpful. I will definitely be coming back and soon!

Yelp
Wooo got one in my neighborhood! Completely psyched. Every time I've been here, there's usually only about max 6 people in line. I love it! All the other Molly Moons have huge lines that go outside and wrap around. Service is great. I don't feel rushed and can try flavors. Love the artwork featuring locals that I have actually seen around. Love coming here. Definitely my favorite Molly Moon's of them all :)

Yelp
Molly Moon definitely holds its own against the San Francisco ice cream shops like Mitchell's, Bi-Rite etc. My absolute favorite flavor of ice cream is coffee, so getting a scoop of the Stumptown was a no-brainer, and I threw in another scoop of strawberry for a change of pace. Wow! The strawberry flavor was surprisingly really great. It's so creamy. The Stumptown was also good, although I'll still lean towards Haagen Dazs' coffee. Don't judge! I grew up on that stuff. Regardless, Molly Moon is the type of ice cream that makes me thank the heavens that I'm not lactose intolerant. Molly Moon lives up to the hype in my book.

Yelp
long queues, not sure if it was due to the heatwave. We waited for a good 30 mins before it was our turn. Ordered a pint of honey lavender and a pint of the vegan coconut chunk - i preferred the latter but both were creamy, yummy and not too sweet
