I was SO excited to try Mommy’s, but had an unfortunately disappointing experience. Upon entering, the place is cute and there were a few other patrons enjoying their night. No one greeted us, we sat at the bar and proceeded to chat and read over the menu. As a craft bartender, I was impressed with the cocktail menu and liquor choices. Sadly, the female bartender working Saturday night proceeded to “watch” us but never greet us. She was seemingly scoffing at our discussion about the great liquor selection? Not sure why that was insulting of us. We waited nearly 15 minutes to be acknowledged, when she finally approached her attitude was short and unwelcoming. I asked her not to make my drink after all and left. Hospitality comes first. If you don’t make me feel welcome, I won’t want to stay. Very sad.
