The Best Coffee Shops In Atlanta - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"Momo Cafe sits at the front of Japanese restaurant Momonoki in Midtown. They offer a variety of coffees and teas at their service counter—the refreshing matcha latte is our favorite order. A display case with appetizing small pastries like mochi donuts and gorgeous, fancy croissants (get the savory onion, gruyere, and rosemary combo) make you want to order food, too. So take your mini breakfast and caffeine crutch upstairs. The small, sleek nook overlooks Momonoki’s dining room on one side and the interstate on the other and feels like a cozier version of an Apple Store. So if your mind is easily distracted, this is the perfect place to crank out the work you told your boss you’d already finished." - juli horsford

Lovely café!!! I am impressed with this cafe, and I rarely get impressed. The staff were so nice and helpful, the drinks were great, and the brown butter donut I got was SUPER GOOD! The place itself is very aesthetic and well decorated. My only gripe is that the seating area is pretty cramped otherwise near perfect place.

From the same people that have the excellent Momo Sushi down the street, NE now gets to have a cozy and lovely coffee shop that serves their momos! The space is clean and cozy, and feels perfect for doing some remote work or catching up with close friends. With a mix of classic menu options and fun new creations, there’s something for everyone. I did try the sweet corn latte, and while it wasn’t for me… I loved the corn gummy! I had thankfully planned ahead and also ordered the French toast latte, which I really loved!

Google
Momo cafe was so beautiful! It felt like I was entering a small museum. The matcha latte was good. They also gave us a sample of a tropical dessert to try for free, which was very sweet of them. I would definitely come back to try out the other drinks and foods.

This new Café is adorable, I loved the design and the area, plus you don't have to pay for parking. You can park and stay as long as you like. The staff were so friendly and even tried to recall each client's name. The Café has a lot of books, so you can grab any random books to read. I got the ube latte and the momo or dumplings, I liked how they put the spicy sauce on the side, so you can add, however, spicy you liked. The environment is amazing. I loved the bookshelf part the most, plus the mini camera for customers to put notes and pictures as a memory. That's so cute.

Google
Beware going there early as their Momo dumplings won’t be available until closer to 10 even though they open at 8. Also was told their dumplings were frozen when asked how much longer for my order. Finally got the beef momo togo since I had somewhere to be at and unfortunately it tasted dry and wasn’t as good as I hoped. Lattes on the other hand were good and worth the trip! Donuts were cold even though I got it right when it got delivered. Service was very fast for everything except for the dumplings. Got there a little before 9 and didn’t get the dumplings until closer to 9:40 even though I was told it’ll be 15 mins. This cafe really relied on natural light as the back of the cafe is more on the darker side.

Google
10/10 service, 10/10 products. They could tell I was excited to be there and treated me so kind. I was thrilled to see MOMO opened up this cafe and I ran to visit it. I got a beautiful delicious matcha that was perfectly not too sweet with honey, the momos were lovely and delicious with chili sauce perfectly spicy. Mochi ice ream that’s perfectly chewy, the red bean was exactly what I wanted. Donuts that again, not too sweet, which is perfect. My favorite one was the plain cake donut, but they were all fabulous. It’s a cute place to hangout that feels very relaxed. They have merchandise and a lot of cute stickers. Everything is a good price, I honestly couldn’t be happier and I can’t wait to go back.

Google
This was a nice cafe to work from. We got a table towards the front, next to the big windows, so the lighting was immaculate. Parking was a bit rough as there was only street parking along the street the cafe is located. The drinks were nicely priced (a lot cheaper compared to other cafes around northeast and north loop). I’d give the drinks a 5, but the food was probably a 3. The dumplings we got were a bit overpriced for the quality/taste. I’d definitely go back and get the drinks!

Google
Highly recommend delicious drink options, savory momos, and delicious pastries. I got an iced Ube white mocha, an order of beef momos, and a Nutella donut. The drink was delicious with the right amount of sweetness and paired deliciously with the momos which were hot, the filling was juicy and flavorful. The donut was way more then I was expecting my first few bites i thought ok it's a light flavor of nutella filling but on my fourth and fifth bite the filling was juat gushing out od the donut which was so soft and everything you need a donut to be, i only got half way through before it became too much and have saved it for later. My only regret is not coming here sooner since i live less then a mile away, it will now be added as part of my monthly ritual to treat myself

Yelp
So great for the price!!! A great local spot! I picked up coffee and pastries on a Saturday morning, and thought there was a line, it moved very quickly. They had a long list of coffee and tea options. I got the black sesame and the French toast latte. The French toast latte is great if you like cinnamon flavors, and the black sesame was subtle and unique. Doughnut was delicious and 2 drinks and a baked good were like $15. It was such a good price! I also used my own cup and got a small discount. They use compostable straws (woo!). I am definitely going back here (and will also try the momo next time). Small tables with eclectic decor in the back room, couches in the cafe room, and a few outdoor seating spots. There is ample street parking on the road fronting the cafe.

Yelp
Wow. This place is world onto itself. Step in and you feel transported. Perhaps not to Tibet ( though I've never been) but the vibe is incredible. There are so many small touches to this place that make it a great spot to spend an hour with a warm drink. The shop itself is large and has a sorts of different seating from couches you work tables. So something for everyone. The drip coffee is Peace Coffee so not the best coffee beans around so I'm kind of breaking my rule on giving this place 5 stars but everything else here is just awesome. I should say while I didn't get the matcha, the large comes in the is bowl like cup and just looks beautiful. So if you like matcha give that a try!

Yelp
This is the best coffee shop in MSP. I said what I said. Aesthetic: 5/5: Asian elegance inviting elements from across time. No music or minimal music if any leaving room for conversation, work, peace. Service: 5/5: Every person who works here has the best, friendliest attitude and is incredibly patient with me while I take forever to decide what I want. Drinks: 5/5: the 16 Oz for here is an entire bowl. Please get it for only 50 cents more. The sweet corn latte was so aesthetic with a tiny sweet corn candy on top. Iced was lovely, ask for a little sweeter if you operate that way. The black sesame latte both times I've had it was excellent. The matcha latte iced was lovely and syrups are almost all made in-house. Food: 4.5/5: They sell Bogarts donuts and the Nutella donut was definitely like 4000 calories but worth the heart attack because it was a well done donut overflowing with Nutella, as it should be. The vegetarian momo had something starchy tasting in the filling which wasnt my favorite but good value of momos for $9. The biggest thing for me here is that the coffee is top tier and milk is always frothed perfectly, shots pulled properly, syrups made in-house. How is a cortado $2, or a premium seasonal latte $5, or a regular latte $3.5 with no additional charge for milk subs? This is a real community coffee shop. It's here for us and I am so grateful.

Yelp
Tucked away in NE Minneapolis, this place is a total gem! The homemade Tibetan momo dumplings are rich and flavorful, clearly made with love and it's accompanied by a perfected chili oil (some of the best in the game). I asked the person at the register for suggestions and they recommended the ube white mocha latte -- which was served in a handcrafted mug...genius concept overall! The latte is both tasty and beautiful and fits right in with the quaint atmosphere at Momo Cafe. The medium chatter level makes it perfect for reading with headphones, and the clever wall separating the line from the seating area keeps things chill. Plus, free street parking? I would highly recommend this place!!!

Yelp
There are a lot of great coffee shops in Minneapolis but Momo Cafe is really one of the best. The shop itself is very cool. Lots of seating and awesome art/decorations. It's located just off Central so if it's busy the street can be somewhat hard to find parking. The coffee itself was delicious. They have unique signature lattes (we tried the rose pistachio) and of course the classics (also got a hazelnut latte). Both were delicious. If you live in NE this would should be a frequent stop. Although it was busy they made our coffee super fast and the staff was very friendly. Will be back.

Yelp
Beautiful space with plenty of seating. It was super busy when my partner and I got there and the staff were all so nice and so helpful. I got the matcha latte and it was delicious! It comes unsweetened, which I prefer, and I added a dash of honey. My partner loved the ube white chocolate latte! It's on the special menu and he loved it! I generally don't like coffee, but I also really like the drink. We got the mixed momos (beef & veggie) and they were all super flavorful. The beef momos had a bit of broth inside, which helps make the flavors splash my mouth while eating. We couldn't figure out what it was, but it tasted like potatoes inside, I could be wrong, and it made the texture so soft. Overall, I highly recommend! We will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Walking into Momo Cafe is like stepping into an antique shop, with the shelves tastefully decorated with a variety of old teapots and other delightful brickabrack and memorabilia. They've put so much work into creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I was immediately drawn to their specialty menu, where Tibetan flavors take center stage. My eyes snagged on po cha, a Tibetan butter tea, and has now become my favorite with its nutty warmth. They have different flavors on rotation, I tried their black sesame latte and an ube white mocha on separate visits, both were lovely and rich. Momo dumplings come in 7s at $13 for beef, $11 for veggie, or $12 for mix. I didn't try them this visit, but noted that many others were ordering them, so they must be good. I'm so happy to see Bogarts Donuts in their pastry case behind their beverage cooler. This cafe is a great place for remote workers. Plenty of outlets and seating, a serve-yourself water cooler, and plenty of books to pursue while avoiding work emails. Parking is free on-street. Accessibility: note for folks with mobility issues: the door has a step leading up to it (see pic). For my fellow hearing impaired folks, cafe is lovely and quiet, with a whisper of background music. Easy for conversation, of course, this might change if there's a loud crowd. Open 8am to 4pm Monday - Thursday 8am to 8pm Friday - Sunday

Yelp
Absolutely loveee the cozy vibe of Momo cafe!! Met some friends here and it was the perfect spot to sit and chat!! The black sesame matcha I had was seriously one of the best matches I've had in Minneapolis. The nuttiness is perfect!! It was so quick and a great place to pop in and get your drink fast as well too!! The service is so friendly and fast! Have already gone back a few times!!

Yelp
Nordeast is full of hidden coffee shop gems, and this spot is no exception. From the moment I walked in, the cozy atmosphere and friendly service stood out. The lovely waitress offered a few thoughtful suggestions, so I ended up trying the pistachio latte and a London Fog--both comforting and delicious. At first, I didn't notice any pastries, but they're tucked off to the side near the cashier. Turns out, they're baked fresh daily by Bogart's, which makes perfect sense once you take a bite. I especially loved the brown butter iced donut--it was light, fluffy, and perfectly balanced, definitely a step above the cinnamon swirl. One of the pleasant surprises? The prices were more affordable than I expected, especially for such quality drinks. The space itself is inviting, with plenty of tables, couches, and a couple of deadbolt bathrooms in the back. I'm already looking forward to my next visit--this one's definitely going into my rotation.

Yelp
Time: May 2025 Place: The cafe is pretty spacious with has ample seating variety (large tables for group study, smaller dining tables, and a couch/sofa area). The decor and dark wood interior creates a cozy and chill atmosphere. I loved all the vintage and Tibetan themed decorations! The location itself is a bit separated from other food/shopping places and there is only street parking, so it will be a very intentional visit. We went on a Saturday, so the cafe was bustling with friends catching up and people getting work done together. We only interacted with staff taking our order, but they were friendly! Food: I loved that there were savory and sweet options at this cafe! We could get a quick bite to eat while also enjoying a drink. - Beef Momos: The texture was good, the momo skin was thick, chewy, and steamed perfectly! I found the filling to be a little too aromatic with the herbs they used, but it was masked by dipping it in soy sauce and the chili oil. The chili oil packs a slow heat, but I highly recommend eating it with the momos! I thought the vermicelli noodles inside were a nice addition to the filling. - Butterfly pea matcha: As with any other butterfly pea drink, it looked so pretty unmixed! The butterfly pea portion was creamy and sweet, but not a syrupy sweet taste, so it mixed well with the nuttiness matcha. The matcha portion was a nice dark green, but it didn't taste too bitter. - Corn latte: It is hard to get a corn drink right, and I can't say that I was too impressed with this mix. The coffee part itself was sweet and strong, but the corn did not blend well with the coffee. There were small bits of corn (mostly kernel skin) that added an interesting texture & chew, but it left me desiring either a topping that was more crunchy or soft/chewy. Overall, I would return to try more drinks as they had an extensive and creative menu of options! My favorite of the two I tried would have to be the butterfly pea matcha, as it was an energizing, smooth drink that was not overly sweet. While I thought the momos were decent, I would likely go elsewhere if I really wanted to satisfy the craving. However, it is a welcome menu option as I usually do want something savory to eat while sipping on a drink.

Yelp
Busy place already~! Happy to see it. We are big fans of Momo Sushi so I was so excited to see Momo Cafe was coming soon and it's within walking distance of my home. The space is so cute and well decorated, they already need to expand as all the tables were full when we visited so we just took our drinks and momos home. There was space on some couches to wait and our drinks came out fast and momos not too long after. The momos are different than at the sushi place as I recall, at least, I loved these way more than any we've had at the restaurant. We got the veggies ones and they were almost like pierogis they were so full of soft potatoes. Delicious and fresh (I skipped out on the dipping sauce since I knew it would be spicy and used sweet and sour at home). For drinks we got an oatmilk latte and a pistachio rose which were excellent and affordable. I can't wait to visit again and try more and maybe catch them at a quieter moment so we can hang out inside longer

Yelp
Awesome new coffee shop in NE! There was plenty of seating to work on your laptop or meet with friends. Very friendly and fast service and a super cute atmosphere. Definitely the only coffee shop I've ever been to with dumplings! I didn't personally try them but they looked great. They also had a case of Bogarts Donuts and various bottled drinks. There were many coffee options and other drink options as well. Really enjoyed my pistachio latte. Free street parking in front of building. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Such a lovely little coffee shop! I came in on a Friday afternoon for a matcha latte and a scone. Both were so tasty! I love that the type of matcha is listed. And the lavender syrup I got was super flavorful and not at all synthetic-y like others. The raspberry scone was also delicious. Not too sweet. The barista was so kind and very personable. Parking on the street can be hit or miss with the restrictions, so just pay attention. But I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
If the new Northeast had a face, Momo Cafe would be the stylish glasses perched on its shapely nose. This is a great spot to grab coffee or sit for hours with a laptop. There are high tables for setting up a work station and comfy couches to drop in while reading or chatting. There are tons of creative coffee options and many teas as well. The decor is gorgeous! They have a wonderful collection of antiques on display as well as a thoughtful, modern set of furniture. I'm looking forward to my next visit!!

Yelp
Super cool new spot! They have Tibetan decor and beautiful plates. Since I love the momos (dumplings) at Momo Sushi, I was happy to see them on the menu at Momo Cafe. The place was packed when we went on a Sunday morning so, understandably, they ran out of mugs for drinks and switched to paper cups. Everyone working was super friendly and nice in the midst of the chaos. We tried the ube latte and the pistachio rose latte - I'd definitely get the ube latte again!
google avatar

Yelp
I've heard there's a coffee shop that serves momo as well. I had to come check out the momo. This cafe is nicely decorated, reminds me of someone's house full of books, vase, expensive collections. We ordered our coffee, glazed donut, and of course beef momo. The momo comes with soy sauce and chilli oil. You'll have to order at the counter and then sit anywhere, once your food is ready they will call your name from the counter. This cafe is more self service.

Yelp
Put this place on your bucket list this summer! Momo cafe was an amazing experience! The cafe has a nice vibe with cute stickers for purchase and comfy seating options. I got dumplings (vegetable and pork) a side of chili oil and the pistachio apricot pastry as well as the Nutella donut. The food was amazing! Dumplings are homemade and the chili oil has a good amount of spice which i appreciated! Pastries were delicious! I also got an iced matcha which was good and tried my friends Ube latte which was delicious! Employees are super kind! Check this place out it is a must!!

Yelp
Got the Ube white mocha, it was yummy but wish there was more of an ube flavor. Coffee shop is super cute and lots of work space. Going to go back and try other drinks!

Yelp
Cool vibe. Cool menu curated with coffee, yummy donuts from Bogarts, and the signature Tibetan momos both vegetarian and meat. Love being able to grab a quick pick me up order of momos outside of their actual restaurant by the same name about a mile or two up the street on Central Ave, which is always packed!! The momos are a savory treat and I'm a fiend for the chili oil they come with. Be careful, it's spicy! And I have a high tolerance. Friendly staff and easy breezy ordering. Seat yourself and they bring cooked food out to you. The coffee is fine, the price is great. Got a cortado for $2.75. It was a lil weak but decent. I'll try another coffee next time. They have some interesting flavors, like ube white mocha and pistachio rose, that may rotate in and out. Plenty of on street parking available. Central A ensue has so many gems and this is another one. The decor is super cute and a lil like stepping in a Time Machine. Nostalgia on display.

Yelp
Visited a friend over the weekend and stopped in around 9:45am Saturday morning. The place was hoppin with fellow coffee drinkers which made it a little difficult to find an open seat. While my friend ordered, I was on spot lookout and snagged the first open spot I could find which happened to be a small table. A little tight quarters in this coffee shop, but it worked. There's a variety of tables ranging in different sizes and couches as well. Cute little spot in the area. Right when you walk in, there's the counter. It was a little overwhelming trying to look at the menu and not be in the way, so I told my friend to surprise me. We tried the pistachio latte with rose pedals and London fog. Both were good, I'd have to say I wanted more pistachio flavor (it was very subtle). London fog was tasty and like a hug in a cup especially on the chilly spring morning. We also shared the brown butter donut and cinnamon swirl donut. The cinnamon swirl donut was my favorite. Great cinnamon flavor, light, and reminded me somewhat of a cinnamon roll without the icing. The brown butter donut was meh for me as it lacked flavor for my taste buds and just wasn't my favorite. I saw many folks getting the Tibetan dumplings which looked good. If I ever come back, I'll likely try those. Parking is street parking. I thought it as neat now they have a camera to snap a photo if you wish and add to the wall. I love a good Photo Booth photo, so of course we participated and added our photo to the wall of visitors. Personally, I didn't interact with stuff as I didn't place our order at the counter, but staff seemed friendly as I watched interactions being had and noticed staff circling the coffee shop to pick up empty cups/plates.

Yelp
The best new cafe in town!! I ordered the ube latte and it was amazing. All drinks and food are very reasonably priced. My latte, 16oz, was only $5! There's plenty of tables and the chairs are actually comfortable. Street parking is available right outside the cafe. The staff were super friendly. Highly recommend checking out this new cafe! Overall rating: 10/10

Yelp
Loved the Momos. Nice to have a casual place like a coffee shop serving Momos. They took 10 Mn to make after getting our drink, but they were good. Nice decor inside as well.

Yelp
Drive past this place often and I like the aesthetics of it having a blend of modernity and industrial warehouse style charm. This cafe is right on central Ave in NE Mpls right south of st Anthony parkway. When I walked in I noticed it was fairly busy. The space is decent enough with nice modern and not too bright of a lighting. There's plenty of seating with mixed couches and wood dining tables. There's nice shelving that has different trinkets and pots giving it a homesy appeal. On the menu are simple coffee drinks your latte, cappuccino, macchiato etc then they have a smaller menu with drink specials. I decided to try the pistachio rose latte which was well fully made and comes with flower petals inside the drink as decoration. The drink was decent. Nice authentic coffee. Not very sweet but good strong coffee. There were also food items that I'd have to check out next time and review.
google avatar

George M.

Yelp
Our go to sushi restaurant. A little different, a little better and super reasonable prices. It can get busy and the layout is a bit quirky as they've quickly outgrown their space.

Yelp
If you are looking for a delicious cup of coffee and good pastries with dumplings lol look no further. I went to their mother restaurant, Momo sushi and the food.; There was super good. This café lives up to their namesake as well. They provide great coffee and they also serve Bogarts donuts which are pretty good always been a fan. The dumplings were simply just amazing. They had veggie options and beef options. We ordered two orders each great place far as the ambience it is absolutely a good, possibly a first day spot. It's pretty creative. In my opinion. The staff were pretty friendly and the parking situation was absolutely bearable. There's plenty of places to park on the street because it is NE Minneapolis. Is definitely affordable. I think we spent about $20 or so in our first order. My lateness test for a good coffee shop is how well they can do a Cortado. It was strong and creamy. They checked all boxes. I will definitely be going back.
google avatar

Andy H.

Yelp
Incredible ambiance with plenty of decorations and beautiful lighting. Even the mugs for drinks are gorgeous. I got the ube white mocha and was blown away. Quick and kind service, a great new cafe to hang out for a while and even get some yummy momos!

Yelp
Love the ambiance of this place. Good coffee, pastries and pot stickers. Great service.

Yelp
Well, this is a delightful new addition to the Nordeast. Beautiful thangkas, super friendly staff, efficient operation (they were slammed when we came Sunday but make our order quickly and accurately). Barista game is already dialed in after just a few weeks. Momos were yummy, too, with good chili sauce.

Yelp
Decent prices and my drink was good. I had the cinnamon latte and the donut (I think they're from Bogharts) and it was less than $9. The inside is beautiful, plenty of seating (especially community style), but not a ton of outlets floating in the middle of the room. Warm wood tables everywhere and a few couches. Plenty of sunlight when you're by the windows. Not really mich for food options, maybe a few small things.

Neil A.

Yelp
What a great place for a delightfully filling, tasty, and variety-packed lunch. Sat outside and enjoyed the flavors, conversations and view.

Nancy Grace N.

Yelp
Great ambience. Amazing energy. Kind and personable staff. The food was delicious. I will definitely return, either with friends, or on my own to sit and read and drink tea

Noah S.

Yelp
The coffee was scrumptious. The dumplings were even more scrumptious. The employees were friendly and fun. The aesthetic is super cool and so fun to look at, I kept seeing new interesting things as I looked around. Oh, and it was really reasonably priced.

Ericka B.

Yelp
this AAPI-owned, Tibetan influenced cafe just opened and is already literally my favorite coffee shop in the cities. as a remote worker, the sound level is perfect, wifi is so fast, and there are plenty of beautiful chairs and super stable wood tables to work at!!! prices for drinks are literally unbeatable and there are yummy dumplings, pastries or snackies to keep you full all day. did i mention this place is gorgeous, spotlessly clean and fresh flowers/plants everywhere? 10000/10!!
