Very decent Indian food. Lunch special is definitely a bargain albeit portion can be a bit scarce. Tandoori chicken also tastes delicious, 8/10 for tenderness. Feels like a family business yet waiters can be more hospitable.

I used to love this place and ordered from here regularly. But during a recent order, the food arrived leaking and the containers were partially melted. While I understand that accidents can happen, what really disappointed me was the owner’s response—rude and unprofessional, they blamed us instead of taking any responsibility. Completely unacceptable service. I won’t be ordering from here again

Best, tasty & fresh garlic naan that I ever had!

Google
A casual kinda place to go and eat. The food here however is delicious. The chow mein is so tasty!!! Loved the Momo’s too. I’m a big chicken tikka masala person and their’s did not disappoint! My husband had lamb vindaloo which he really enjoyed also:) The garlic nan bread is one of the best I have had . Portion sizes were good and we left feeling full and with plenty of leftovers. This is probably my new go to place for Indian/Nepalese food.

The food was delicious, delicate and flavorful. The Timur beer is original and tasty. Best of all, the owners are really pleasant and fun to talk with.

This place has a good collection of food in the menu, while we were there the owner was around and we took his re recommendations, they were pretty good! He was also very friendly and spoke about few different things. I would definitely recommend the momos on sizzler, also the appetizers( we tried chili chicken and lamb bhutuwa) and they go great with some beer :) , the portion size is pretty good as well , the four things was more than enough for us and we got some food to go. Surely recommend this place if you are craving some nepalese/Indian food.

Google
This is a hidden little gem. The momos are just amazing. The other stuff was good too but the best part was momos and the Nepali flavors. Ordered chicken jhol momo, choila, and samosa chat. The jhol momo absolutely made my day. I prefer food on the spicier side so I asked for some hot sauce and that made things even better. Will definitely be going back for more Nepali flavors.

Came here last week for a little food outing with a friend and my family. It's tucked away so I almost missed the entrance but it's a nice location if you know where to turn. The lady working was very kind and kept checking to make sure we were good. I got the chicken curry, my son got the samosas, we got dumplings to share, and naan. I'm still not used to eating Indian food as this was only my second or third time trying it but the food was delicious. The Mango Lassi I got was nice and refreshing. The garlic and basic naan was food though I didn't much care for the onion naan my husband got because of the cilantro. The chicken curry wasn't too spicy, it was nice and mild and served with basmati rice. My son more or less liked the samosas but he's still not used to heavily spiced foods so it was a lot for him. My husband liked whatever chicken dish he got. When our friend arrived, she ended up ordering some kind of chicken tandoori and it arrived to the table sizzling which was cool. When we were done, we asked for containers for our leftovers and they were perfect sized but it did take a long time to get our checks to pay. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
I love eating at Momo N Curry weather I eat in with friends or get food to go it is always delicious. The staff are very kind and helpful and the restaurant is spacious and can accommodate large groups. I have been here several times and the service and food is constantly delightful! I enjoyed their Momo's and vegetarian dishes. The Samosa Chaat and eggplant dish are some of my favorites.

Yelp
Been here twice and the food is always great! However we only do takeout but the flavor maintains and my favorite item is the aloo saag. We usually get garlic and regular naan and the pieces are HUGE. The chicken tikka masala is also very nice and saucy and doesn't have a watery consistency. Overall their service is great and the food is better, and I definitely recommend coming here! Their momo dumplings are also yummy :)

Yelp
Changed it up and had the fish pakoda instead of momos and it was a great decision! The fish pakoda flour coating is well seasoned and the two sauces are an added bonus. We also had the tandoori chicken (on an iron platter with veggies), lamb Tikka Masala, and garlic basil naan. The tandoori chicken was a ton of dark meat chicken!

Yelp
The food is always amazing very consistently packed full of delicious flavors. They do a lot of togo orders but the dining room is comfortable and spacious. The bathrooms are nice and clean. The staff are very friendly and attentive. I would recommend giving them a try if you haven't already. My favorite is the butter chicken it's creamy and flavorful but the chicken curry and tikka masala are pretty great too.

Yelp
Came here on a Friday evening for dinner and we were surprised how empty it was. However, as the evening went by there seemed to be people slowly trickling in. Also, alot of people getting takeout. The place is very spacious with interesting decor. Servers are very friendly and attentitive as well. We ordered the steamed veggie momo which came with some orange dipping sauce - pretty flavorful and not spicy. The momo dumplings were also a good size, enough to share between two people with another entree. We also ordered the paneer tikka masala - cottage cheese cubes in tikka masala sauce. This went well with the garlic naan. Their naan is also pretty good, a bit crunchy on the outside but still warm and chewy on the inside. Overall, pretty solid place to get some authentic nepalese food.

Yelp
Was at the Clayton Art & Wine festival, asked the lady in the food truck if I could have one of their plastic forks sitting outside of the truck with the napkins. As I was walking by, forgot to grab a fork from the food truck I got a food. She was rude and raised her voice loudly to and me say you got food from the other truck so go over there and pointed. It's just a plastic fork and she could have said it differently instead of so loud that other could hear to. I was interested in going to try this place soon, but not anymore with type of service and attitude.

Yelp
Non veg platter/Sizzler had rotten lamb kabob. Other items were ok. Nothing great. Momo's were ok.

Elizebeth R.

Yelp
The food was amazing with the perfect spice preference. Sometimes you do have to get the service persons attention but that's normal outside of the US. We asked for food suggestions and we did not regret it!

Yelp
Overall decent food and plenty of seating space to enjoy lunch/dinner. Really liked the fresh lemonade that they offered. Their chicken chowmein was my fav and momos were decent. The service was fast and we got our food in less than 10 mins after ordering.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I wanted to try Indian food and we found this place on yelp and wanted to give it a try. We ordered chicken tikka masala and butter chicken with the garlic naan bread. Food was AMAZING, totally forgot to take pictures of the before because we were hungry and loved the food. The service was pretty fast and the food was affordable too, I think our total was a little under $50. Food was so good that we came back the next day and were craving it lol. But now this is our go-to spot for butter chicken and naan!

Yelp
Momo N Curry is truly a hidden gem. This place doesn't look like much on the outside, but the food is consistently delicious and reasonably priced. My go to order is the cuchumber salad, which is incredibly refreshing. The garlic naan is a huge portion as well as the tikka masala. Both are super tasty, some of the best I have had! I would say that the tikka masala is the best item on the menu, so flavorful and the chicken is always cooked perfect, never tough or chewy. The mint lemonade is one of my favorites. The mango lassi is incredible and very creamy. The service is always friendly and we never feel rushed! One of my favorite spots in the area.

Yelp
We had some work at concord and stopped @ MOMO N CURRY , The food was good , chicken steamed MOMO , chicken choila , goat curry , chicken chowmein, perfectly made with good taste of nepali food Everything we ordered was good but will recommend try chicken choila , and chicken chowmein. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious Indian food and great customer service, competitive prices. I will recommend this place highly.

Yelp
The food is fresh and delicious! The service is wonderful and quick. The owner is a wonderful and personable person. I recommend it. Oh, and the prices are good!

Yelp
***3.5 Stars*** Tasty food and the lunch specials are great, but the service is definitely lacking. This spot has been on my radar for a bit. Tried them out for lunch and was really impressed with the flavors and spices. Walked in on a Monday afternoon and the place was virtually empty. There was nobody in the lobby when I entered, so I waited for a few minutes until a lady came out from the back. She motioned me to seat myself, so I did. She brought out some menus and I looked them over. I had looked at their website prior to coming in, and saw that they had lunch specials. Ironically, no lunch specials were listed on the menus that she brought me, and the lady didn't even know that the lunch special menu was listed on their website. I had to show her through my phone (make sure you ask about the lunch specials if you don't see them on the menu). I ordered a combo mix lunch with chicken tikka masala, shrimp curry, samosa, naan and rice. I also ordered a mango lassi. No water or utensils were brought to my table until I asked which was strange. Also, nobody checked on me until I was virtually done with my meal. The service was extremely flat. The good news is, the food was delicious. *Chicken tikka masala: Definitely the best item on the table! Super creamy tikka sauce that was well spiced. The chicken breast was tender. Really enjoyed this dish. *Shrimp curry: Very flavorful with a nice consistency. A thickish curry with plump shrimp. Could have been a bit spicier but that's just my personal preference. Otherwise, very tasty. *Samosa: Deep fried to perfection with a solid filling. The green dipping sauce was delicious. *Naan: Not a very thick piece of naan but it was still fluffy and come very buttery which I love. *Mango lassi - The perfect consistency and thickness. Would have liked it was cold since it tasted like it was room temperature, but it was still good. This lunch special was about $20 which isn't bad for two specialty entrees. You could go cheaper by getting just one entree lunch, but I wanted to try both and I'm glad that I did. Portions are adequate for the price. Not too much but also not too little. Aside from the service, I was actually quite impressed. Not sure if I'll dine in again anytime soon, but I would definitely considered them for takeout in the future.

Yelp
We placed an online order for dinner on a weekday night. Service was speedy. Order was ready in about 15-20 minutes. Food was reasonably priced. We ordered the bengan bharta, lamb/goat vindaloo, and shrimp tikka masala. Each dish came with a side of white rice. Bengan bharta was excellent with naan bread. Flavors were on point. Lamb/goat vindaloo had perfect amount of spice with tender meat. Not sure if there was actually lamb in it. We selected both in our online order and were slightly confused if it meant both meats would be in the dish or we could pick one only. Either way, it was super yummy. The shrimp tikka masala was super creamy with plump shrimp cooked just right. The dish was a little too creamy for my taste, but very well spiced. Can't wait to try more dishes at this local neighborhood gem!

Yelp
The food was so delicious and the service was really great, too!" The chicken biryani was so yummy and I ate the whole thing, even though it was quite heavy for one person. The chicken was tender and went well with the sauce and vegetables. Perfectly cooked and the flavor was amazing.

Yelp
Really good Indo Chinese food. The momos are amazing and the chow mein was outstanding. Haven't tried any of the authentic traditional Indian dishes like the curries or biryani so I can't speak to that.
google avatar

Angela B.

Yelp
Lamb Saag and Sweet Lassi ... CHeck! I have finally found a place to eat since they closed Bombay This place is even better. Definitely my new go to for Indian cuisine
google avatar

Eric G.

Yelp
The food was tasty and rice was included in the price of the dishes we ordered. Butter chicken was good, but could have used a few more chunks of meat. I definitely recommend going with the garlic naan as it compliments very nicely. I understand that this restaurant is in a strip mall, but the ambiance really left something to be desired. As a previous owner of a "mom and pop" restaurant, I'll tell you that it doesn't take a ton to invest in some nice wall décor to spruce things up a little and at least add some visual interest.

Yelp
The Best Indian Nepalese Food in the Area! Trust! Very Friendly Staff! If you're in the Area give them a try!

Oasis M.

Yelp
Sooooo good!! The workers were very attentive, and respectful. The food was so delicious we got the chicken tikki masala, butter chicken, garlic naan, with a mango lassi. I definitely recommend. The restaurant was a very calm area.
google avatar

Abha S.

Yelp
Authentic, fast and reasonably priced! The place is hidden away in a strip mall. Easy to miss! It's right opposite from Dunkin Donuts. Must try if you like momos and chow main -- Indian style!! Spicy but delicious
google avatar

Kev H.

Yelp
Spotted an Indian Nepalese restaurant around the area and decided to try it. We got: Chicken Tikka Masala - I'm gonna be honest with you that their chicken tikka masala was not my favorite, because it tasted sweeter than the tikka masala that I'm used to. I generally prefer my tikka masala more savory. With that said, I thought it was not bad. It had a good amount of chicken breast chunks. However, I noticed that the sauce was more runny, then take him as I dishes that I would get from other restaurants. I probably prefer my tikka masala sauce to be a little bit thicker/creamier. $16 as of Jan 2023, but it came with a small side of rice. Vegetable Chow Mein - their vegetable chow mein was nothing like those I would get from Chinese restaurants. The noodles had a little bit of curry flavor, making this dish, unique and separate from the Chinese style chow mein. This was my favorite dish that I got from this restaurant. I would be interested in trying their other chow mein with different proteins such as chicken. $13 as of Jan 2023. Lasooni Saag Paneer - this is a dish of spinach purée with garlic and cottage cheese. We asked for spicy and they delivered. I enjoyed this dish, and it went really well with naan. $13 as of Jan 2023, but it came with a small side of rice.

Yelp
The food here is delicious! I have a hard time going to anywhere else for Indian food now since I've been ordering from Momo due to the quality of their dishes. A friend of mine that originally was from Nepal even drives all the way out to here from Hayward since they remind him of home. I've always pick up my food to go mainly for the comfort of my home, but I do plan to eat there someday. (I don't use grubhub since they tend to rip off restaurants, drivers and the customers) The Momo's are great, though I love the butter chicken, tiki masala, samosa chat!!, lasooni saag paneer, and garlic naan. Have yet to dislike a dish there. I recommend them to my friends all the time.
google avatar

Brittney L.

Yelp
Came in for lunch with my co-worker and OMG were we super juiced at finding this gem! Ordered the butter chicken and lamb tikka masala and they were better than better. Everything made here taste like it is literally made to order and not just sitting to be served. This place did not disappoint at all and this is not our last. There's so much on their menu that we want to try.
google avatar

Yelp
My friend is from Nepal and took me here. This is our second time together. The first time was alright but there has been a change in ownership and this time the food was amazing. The owner is Nepalese-he and my friend had a nice conversation in their native tongue. I couldn't understand them but they were both smiling and sounding happy in their chat. I can't describe how crazy good the flavor was. Their hot sauce was really complex-made my nose run a little but full of different flavors. The other sauce, not spicy, was nice and complex also. The Momo's were fresh and had perfect seasoning like a great Indian restaurant but not Indian food. I wouldn't have known it was Nepali cuisine without my friend there- in fact I thought it was Burmese and was looking for Tea Leaf Salad until she told me we were not at a Burmese Restaurant. It's not fancy inside but it's clean, pleasant and roomy with tables spread out a good distance from one another. So...great fresh food, friendly staff, and if you want to say Thank you in the language it's phonetically "Dan-yah-bad"
google avatar

Yelp
Reliably excellent food. I always get the butter chicken and scoop it up with the garlic naan. during the pandemic I got a lot of doordash from these guys. food was always piping hot. I'm probably going to head there for dinner right now.
google avatar

Daryl S.

Yelp
We got this for takeout for NYE and it was really easy to order online and pick it up. I got the chicken curry and vegetable pakoda, but also tried the lamb curry. Everything smelled so delicious and both of the curries had tender meat and the right level of spice. The pakoda were crispy on the outside and had tender and warm vegetables on the inside.
google avatar

Divya S.

Yelp
Ambiance is decent. Service was fast! Coming to food part, Saag paneer was good. The shell of chilly momo was a bit hard but the flavor was decent. The onion kulcha was amazing. Mango lassi was the best!
google avatar

Renee M.

Yelp
A neighborhood gem in a Concord strip mall on Clayton Rd. and near Dunkin Donuts. It is an Indian/Nepalese restaurant. Ambiance is like a nicely decorated cafe. Very quiet at 6:30pm, but more customers came in later and it was still low noise. Restaurant was clean. The waiter is quite nice and very helpful in explaining the differences between Indian/Nepalese/Himalayan food. They all have Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken Curry, Chicken Curry, Naan, etc. Nepalese has Momos... dumplings and a Nepalese version of chow mein. My friend and I started with appetizers the Lamb Sekuwa ( seasoned grilled lamb) a Nepalese favorite and Samosa Chat. My friend loved the lamb sekuwa. (I don't eat lamb so I can't review) but the Samosa Chat was quite flavorful with seasoned potatoes in a pastry with special sauces. For our entrees we ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Momos (dumplings) and Nepalese Chow Mein. All three entrees were very tasty & flavorful! We also ordered Garlic & Basil Naan . Sorry I didn't take any pictures of these dishes since we were so excited with eating these special dishes we just dove into our food. Definitely will be back for more! Please let's all support these small mom and pop businesses. They offer such great ethnic foods. What a GEM!!!!

Yelp
Just tried the Momo N Curry food truck here in Brentwood yesterday at the blossoms at Brentwood apartments. This food is amazing and the owner is awesome as well. I would definitely come back a million times. I got the butter chicken and naan bread .
google avatar

Esa E.

Yelp
If I could give more than 5 stars I would! The food was excellent- we got a few different dishes and everything was phenomenal. We went in for lunch and found the service to be responsive and pleasant. Even though we ordered off the regular menu the lunch menu had an awesome selection. We will most definitely be returning.

Yelp
This is my second time at mono n curry. It's an average place in my opinion. The fried vegetable momo is not really good, over fried and too little stuffing. Tastes average, growing up in India I had better momo even in average street food places. The egg chow mein actually is tasty. Not oily, have chunks of fried eggs and vegetables like carrots, cabbages. A mild taste of black pepper is really nice and complements the tastes of fried vegetables. Overall an averagely good place, but not something to crave for.

Shirley M.

Yelp
I cannot eat hot spicy food but do appreciate flavor. They did a good job of making adjustments for me. I really enjoyed the Butter Chicken, the fresh vegetable salad and the Naan was the best I've had anywhere.

Yelp
This place is literally the best Indian spot in the Bay Area ! I'm a foodie and it has been a HIT EVERY TIME ! Never a bad experience here. I get the chicken tika masala with garlic naan. Always respectful and welcoming when I come. The environment is also always clean.
google avatar

Yelp
I've gone to sooooo many south Asian restaurants in the Bay Area and cannot express how much better this is! Everything has soooo much flavor, freshness, great portions. Service was good. Cute clean bright casual lunch spot. I ordered Samosa Chat, Paneer Tikka Masala, Chili Chicken, Rice, Paratha, Garlic Naan, Saag Paneer - everything 10/10 (spicy is the way to go!) Go support fr fr

Yelp
The food is delicious! The service is not great (hence only the 3 stars). My hubby and I went there for the first time for dinner tonight. No one welcomed us when we walked in and the lady seated us at a front corner table w little space. There were more available tables w more space that I think she could have seated us at. We got the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala, plain rice and plain naan bread, and chai tea. Everything we ate was great. No one checked in on us during our entire time there. We had to flag someone to ask for more rice. The only time the lady came to our table was to collect our $. My hubby left a tip but I would have left them no tip due to the lack of customer service. If I were to come back, I'd order the food to go and not dine in.
google avatar

Chinwe O.

Yelp
I ordered through DoorDash. Food was hot and the vegetable chow mein was delicious. Theo chili mo mo was just okay

W S.

Yelp
We don't order from Momo n Curry that often (maybe 3-4 times a year), but when we do the food is tasty. Especially their Butter chicken and Tikka Masala. There are many Indian restaurants in the area but when we decide to order Indian we usually order from here because it's the closest. I'm not sure if they changed management but we were very disappointed when we ordered this time around. They have changed their portion size and give you the food in the smallest of containers. There is hardly any protein that can fit into those containers. Just not a fan of restaurants being stingy with their protein. Will be going to another restaurant just a couple of minutes further down for our Indian food cravings next time around.

Kathleen E.

Yelp
Food was good but the customer service was terrible. We stood in the empty restaurant (only 1 table of two) and the woman working there didn't even address us for over 5 minutes. When I finally said we have a takeout order, she walked over to a table in the back and asked it my name was... She was rude and handed me my order and said you should have said you had takeout when you arrived.
google avatar

Blaine S.

Yelp
My favorite in the entire Bay Area for BOTH the Nepalese and Thai food! Awesome fusion! The steamed chicken momo is delicious, the Bhuna chicken is heaven as is any tikka masala or curry dish Take out is just as good as dining in Blows away Naan-n-curry (which is basically fast food) in comparison! Owner is awesome and customer service here is fantastic!
google avatar

Jessica J.

Yelp
The high reviews caught my attention, but unfortunately I don't agree. I've done takeout twice now, and while their chicken momo sizzler is great, almost everything else I've tried is mediocre. Across both orders, I've tried the chili momo, garlic naan, samosas, lamb vindaloo, chicken momo sizzler, and mix grill. I thought the chili momo would be steamed since that's what the description said. To my surprise they were fried and then coated in sauce. Slightly disappointing because I wouldn't have ordered it otherwise. On the flip side, the chicken momo sizzler was steamed and full of flavor. Definitely recommend those! The samosas were girthy (lol) and also loaded with spices. Those were my only two wins. Unfortunately, the various meats in the mix grill were dry. Since there's no sauce included in the dish, we used some that we had at home to try and salvage it. It kind of worked. The garlic naan was also on the dry side both times I ordered it. Disheartening because many reviews speak highly, but if I return, it'll just be for the chicken momo sizzler.

Kannan K.

Yelp
We had momo and chicken kadai. Momo was good and the chicken dish was average . We were there on a weekday night. There was hardly anyone else so the service was pretty quick.

Yelp
My favorite indian restaurant in the area by far! Always my go-to. Staff is friendly, service is fast, Food is DELICIOUS, Ambiance is happy and family friendly always. Even when i do mobile order or delivery my food is always hot and fresh. My usual is butter chicken or chicken tikka with garlic nan and mango lasi. Yum!

James S.

Yelp
I need to return to try the momos now that I've had them elsewhere and know what they are, but everything I ordered was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! The samosas could use a little more spice, but still tasted great with the mint chutney and tamarind. The Saag Aloo was beyond what I've ever tasted before in my life! The spinach (saag) was spiced and flavored just right and the potatoes were cooked to absolute perfection. The Bindi Masala (okra) was also a favorite, in addition to their naan! The server was very friendly in getting my to go order together quickly. The atmosphere seemed relaxing though they weren't busy at the time and I did not sit to eat. Amazing food! I will be frequenting this spot and highly recommend those who like Indian food give it a shot! You won't be disappointed!
google avatar

Krithika P.

Yelp
Delicious pillowy soft steamed veggie momos and fantastic chicken curry and garlic/basil naan. I've had Nepalese cuisine before and fell in love. The flavors here are good and spice levels are on point! Will definitely be coming here to try more items in their menu.

Yelp
We just couldn't wait longer than a week to reorder from Momo N Curry. Great food. We had the same meal as last week. Delicious food with just the right spices. We had door dash deliver. Easy, fast and wonderful!
