17 Charleston Bars and Restaurants With Impressive Outdoor Views

"Lowcountry restaurant Momo sits right on the Cooper River. Stroll around Riverfront Park while waiting for a table at brunch or after dinner. Look for seafood towers, pimento cheese plates, and deviled eggs." - Erin Perkins

I have been wanting to try this place for years so I was extremely excited when the opportunity presented itself. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the turkey sandwich and everyone else at my table had the steak. I don't think I have had any as good as their Gouda grits. Everyone enjoyed their food. We also ordered several different cocktails and wines - all of which were fantastic. Do not skip out on the dessert either. Three of us ordered one and they were all fantastic. The restaurant was not super busy that evening but our waitress was not the most attentive. We had to get her attention a few times and give her a few reminders. The restaurant was very warm, which I assume was due to the open kitchen. Unfortunately, one of our table members got too warm - mix that with a glass of wine and she had to go outside by the water to cool down. Something to consider when going in the heat of the summer. Overall it was a great experience but I may wait until the cooler months to return.

We have dined here more than a handful of times now, and the food/drink quality has been nothing but exceptional in all those times. The location is ideal! We love to stroll around the old Navy Quarters or the Riverfront Park, then slowly make our way to MOMO. I will say their menu stays pretty consistent (not much seasonal changes). Therefore, I usually know what I'll be ordering before getting here. I recommend making a reservation if you are planning on visiting.

Google
The atmosphere at MOMO Riverfront Park is beautiful, and its location in the park makes it a great spot to relax. I arrived around 4 PM when the restaurant was nearly empty, but was told all the outdoor tables were reserved. Oddly, even when I left at 5 PM, many of those tables were still unoccupied. That was disappointing, as the outdoor seating is a major part of the experience. I hadn’t made a reservation—so I’d definitely recommend doing that in advance if you want to sit outside. The food was average in taste but priced like a luxury hotel, which didn’t feel justified. Service was okay—not particularly warm or attentive. Overall, it's a place worth visiting for the ambiance, but the dining experience could be much better with improved service and more thoughtful table management.

Google
This was a great spot. Wasn’t here when I lived in Charleston and so nice on the river. Best hush puppies I’ve ever had and maybe the pimento cheese and pickles too. Everything was excellent.

Google
This is perhaps one of my favorite restaurants in North Charleston. The scenery, the vibe, the food and the service always exceed my expectations. The top reason I love this restaurant is being able to bring our dog and dine outdoors on the patio year round thanks to the heat lamps, fire pits and the complimentary blankets. On this last visit, it happened to be my birthday lunch with my adult daughter and her puppy. The expresso martini and the indigo butterfly cocktail are my favorites. I always get the wedge salad and a bowl of truffle fries. The fries are incredibly good, don’t miss out on those. We encountered a quick rain shower and the manager was very accommodating to our situation with a quick box up of our meal. We waited out the weather and they graciously brought out a slice of their delicious chocolate cake. We are lucky to have this gem of a restaurant !

Google
So many amazing options on the menu, it was hard to pick one thing. What we did order was amazing! I would recommend trying the creme brulee for dessert. The waitresses and other staff was great. Loved the atmosphere and loved the outdoor seating. It truly felt like such a romantic scene. We came to visit Charleston and ate here both nights.

Google
Ah.May.Zing. We ordered exactly what everyone recommended: Oysters, Ceviche, Shrimp and Grits, Steak Frittes... and then also the Cacio e Pepe. Everything was outstanding. So much flavor, so many delicious textures, and everything was worth having again. We also had a couple of mocktails and a Palm Rosa Mojito and the Melon Picante Margarita. The margarita was good, but we preferred the mojito. Absolutely recommend the indoor seating if the weather is mosquito-y or hot. Will be back and will recommend to everyone we know!

Myself and my expecting friend had a glorious time! Such a sweet server and awesome food. Whitefish pate was splendid, will get that and the wedge again for sure. Had a chardonnay and a marg and got cake of the day to go. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant and bar. The location on the water cannot be beat. Food always comes out beautifully plated and tastes amazing. Service is too notch! If you don't have a reservation, sit at the bar. You will receive absolutely amazing service from their personable bartenders!

Yelp
Everything was perfect here great service, food wonderful and ambiance amazing! I brought out of town guests and we had the best time.

Yelp
My first time and definitely coming back again! Great customer service (Caitlin was our server) and absolutely amazing food. The shrimp & grits was a 10 out of 10! The atmosphere and the view of Daniel Island is such a great background for the surrounding park. A perfect walk after eating

Yelp
We found MOMO on our way through the area (in March) and decided to stop, and I'm so glad we did. We were on a long trip moving a family member and this meal seemed like a treat and kicked off a big life change with a celebration. We were afraid we were under dressed, which we probably were because this restaurant is beautiful and amazing. Proof of how great they are, they didn't even bat an eye at our road trip attire despite the caliber of most of their clientele. We had a delicious meal, lovely scenery, and service that was impeccable. I hope we can make it back for a less stressful visit. They made our first day of travel so much better!

Yelp
We went to Momo last Friday. One of their AC units wasn't working so the upstairs was pretty hot. Mildly warm downstairs. We had reservations for a table upstairs and then just decided to sit at the bar because it was cooler. Not really sure if we just didn't pick the right food or what. But the steak had no flavor and was weirdly chewy. Almost as if it was microwaved. We also got the special scallops, also weirdly, wet and fishy laying on top of a bed of greens. Nothing to write home about. The deviled eggs were bland also with broken pieces of bacon on top. We got the cucumber salad that was fresh and ok. Half a dozen of oysters that were pretty good but tiny. I'm not really too sure where they're getting all their five star ratings or even four star ratings. The place is great sitting along the water. There's a nice promenade. And then a new bridge that's been built within the last year that you can walk over. For the price, this place is not worth it. Maybe they have something on their menu that taste better or it could be the chef that night I have no clue. But for the amount of money that you end up spending for dinner it's 100% not worth it

Yelp
I love everything about this restaurant! The location is perfect. Beautiful waterfront dining. The food is amazing. The drinks are beautiful and tasty. The people were so friendly and nice!

Yelp
This is my second time eating at MoMo's and it's quickly becoming one of my highest rated spots in the Charleston area. This I got the MoMo Burger w/ Truffle Fries and the Smoked Jerk Chicken. The burger had great flavor and smash burger kinda feel to it but full sized unsmashed patties if that makes since. The truffle fries were crispy and just the right amount of truffle. And for the smoked chicken i wish i could have experienced it fresh as this was a To Go order. Which even then still very flavorful and tender and juicy. Everything you can want and expect from that dish was there. I'm not sure though if that is a starter or a main course, but i would be amazing served over rice of some sort.

Yelp
Came here for the first Tacos & Margarita festival. It turned out to be a pretty good day weather wise with a light drizzle. Easy place to get to and a lot of parking if you come earlier. You walk for about 5 mins before you actually get to the park area. Thankfully it didn't rain a lot because when it does rain more the ground gets really muddy and some parts are flooded so that's the downfall at this park. However the overall set up was nice with lots of food trucks and a handful of drink vendors. I do think it's a great location to host festivals and big events, especially when the weather is nice.

Yelp
came here for a company dinner and the server was really friendly. i got one of their seasonal drinks i think it was the apple tini or some like that and it was delicious. we got the ceviche and deviled eggs for the apps and my main entree was their chicken pasta dish. the best thing all night was def the deviled eggs im still thinking about that like a week later
google avatar

Yelp
Our experience at Momo's was top notch. Service was quick and consistent. The ambience is very welcoming and modern. And the food was great! We had Steak Frites and their take on Shrimp & Grits. I would highly recommend both!

Yelp
This gorgeous riverfront brunch spot was amazing! My mom and I went for Sunday brunch and sat outside at a little to top. It was very hot out as there is no shade only by the umbrellas so definitely would recommend bringing a fan. I did see that some of the other tables had a fan, similar to each other so I think that the restaurant might offer them if you ask. We started off with the deviled eggs which were to die for! There were five of them and I wish that I would have ordered two orders. They were definitely large portions, though. I had the shrimp and grits which was cooked perfectly and had a great sauce to it. Was not a fan of the cream fraiche on top, but the Gouda grits gave that a little bit more cheesiness. My mom ordered the blueberry salad with grilled shrimp and it was so light and refreshing for a nice hot day. The candy pecans mixed with the blueberry vinegar dressing was an excellent pairing. We also got a carafe of mimosas which you chose which juice added in and we chose grapefruit, which also prepared well with the blueberry salad. The parking situation was not the best here as you did have to park in the parking lot about a quarter mile away and walk, but there is some handicapped parking up at the front but very limited.

Yelp
Great location, parking signs are a little tricky. Staff are super nice. Krista was our server today and was on point. Knew when we needed something and was very attentive, was able to recommend choices for a child, they do not have a children's menu. For apps we had hush puppies, ceviche, deviled eggs, (not pictured) and oysters ~ all were delish! Everyone enjoyed their meals from whitefish salad to steak and eggs. The only thing I didn't care for was the tomato & cucumber salad ~ very bland. Drinks flowed between bloodies and mimosa's. Wasn't cheap $70 a person & that was with 2 non drinkers and one person having an app for brunch. But well worth it. Would definitely come back, maybe as a couple & not a party of 7!

Yelp
I sat on the patio at MOMO gazing at the beautiful river that fed my family shrimp for my entire life while my friend ate Argentinian shrimp next to me. My oyster po-boy consisted of tiny, tasteless, overcooked (chewy) oysters completely lost in a massive amount of overwhelming breading. I had to remove the largest one from my mouth because it was like chewing on a bicycle tire. The mocktails, on the other hand, were amazing. I'd return for the mocktails and the view. And perhaps I'll try something else on the menu to see if there's anything better.
google avatar

Yelp
MOMO is the perfect place to dine on the water. You can even go for a walk in the park after. They have the most unique sculptures! It's innovative, elegant and a place you will want to go back to again and again. My boyfriend loves the shrimp and grits while my go to is the Cacio E Pepe with chicken. We always some order type of app as well. The single seafood tower is something I would certainly recommend. The only drawback is it's located in North Charleston which isn't my favorite place to frequent.

Yelp
I visited Momo with our book club friends and were sat on the Lovely patio. We had a reservation and it was honored timely . The drinks are great albeit a bit pricey, and i enjoyed my Aperol spritz and coffee to start, which came on a beautiful and photogenic press. I had a salmon toast for breakfast and it was pretty good and very filling. The only not so great part was that around 12:15 we were rushed out of the table with the bill and were informed that there was another reservation and we had to pay and leave the table. Our reservation started at 10:45 and clearly noted that it was a two hour window, so we were expected to be able to stay until 12:45 but that was not the case. It Might have been a busy day for them but I would have been nice to know when we sat down that our time was getting cut short to plan our book club a little bit better instead of having to rush at the end when we were cut off 30 minutes sooner than expected.

Yelp
Service, cocktails and food on point. There is no reason to question dining here. This is a gem of a place to enjoy cocktails and dining anytime of the day. Ambiance is exceptional also.
google avatar

Emma P.

Yelp
This is an absolute gem of a place. Right off the beautiful waterfront walkway the staff is so friendly and attentive. Everything tastes so fresh, I got the burger and suggest adding an additional patty if you like a bit more protein but delicious either way. The crispy Brussels and hush puppies are absolute must tries. It may sound like an odd item, but definitely recommend the caprese martini and yes, it's exactly how it sounds.

Yelp
Choose Momo's for Father's Day dinner and everything was exceptional! The restaurant is beautiful and sits alongside the riverfront providing spectacular views! The hushpuppies and jalapeño butter was a flavor bomb!! The devil eggs were ok..... the steak was tender and flavorful, the oyster poboy was exceptional and paired perfectly with the truffle fries! The wedge salad was nice and crisp and delicious! Cocktails were amazing! We all left full and happy!

Yelp
Such a great place! Sat outside on the patio on an August evening, with a pleasant breeze. The restaurant is decorated in clean, minimalist lines of black and white, with a lovely view of Cooper River and Riverfront Park. Had the buttermilk chicken sandwich with grits. The sandwich has a pimento cheese sauce which is delicious. The grits were a little underseasoned but just ask for some salt. Handheld apple pie was the best - flaky crust, perfectly seasoned apples, with a homemade caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. I also had a mint cardamom cocktail which was truly delicious. Went for a stroll in Riverfront Park afterwards enjoying the beautiful sunset. Also, parking is free! Walk around and see the Admiral's House - it feels like an old Southern movie. 10 out 10!

Yelp
We made it here for a date night recently and not sure we'll prioritize coming back. Parking is easy if there's not another event at Riverfront park, be sure to check before though. The location is excellent - their patio is set up nicely for riverfront views and the inside is very cute. The staff are friendly but seemed like our server was given a weird combination of tables that wasn't efficient. She was busting her butt - more an issue on table assignments it seemed like. All of the food was decent but for the price point just not what you'd expect relative to other local spots. We started with the Brussels and ceviche - both were fairly bland but decent serving size. We got cacio e Pepe and the steak frites. The steak was the best thing we had but for the price was such a small amount (again relative to what you get elsewhere in town). The fries were very basic and the pasta was fine but needed something more.

Yelp
We've been here twice and I have a brunch with girlfriends scheduled. It is a great space, with superb service, and delicious nibbles - with a changing menu, so keep an eye out. Also, Sunday has a special brunch menu.... The area is gorgeous - we like to park over on the Noisette Bridge section, walk the bridge to the restaurant to eat, then walk the Riverwalk back to the car. Makes the delicious calories consumed virtuous...

Yelp
My oh my, this place is SO hidden and off the beaten path for someone who is new to the area. The ambiance walking up to the restaurant is so calming and the aesthetics inside the restaurant are too dang beautiful!! It is a smaller restaurant in the inside but there is outdoor seating to where you can see the water. All the food was AMAZING. Service was quick and we were seated right away, and served food right away.... What more can you love!

Yelp
Loved having dinner at MOMO! What a beautiful location with sumptuous plates and tantalizing cocktails, great ambiance and friendly staff. We were early so we meandered along the riverfront walk captivated by the beauty of the history and memorials of the Greater Charleston Naval Base. Absolutely beautiful in the twilight hours. When we checked in we were still 15 min early for our reservation inside and may I add we were tempted to ask for the patio instead but they put us in a great spot on the first floor near the patio. We had heard the deviled eggs were good and ordered those plus the Brussels sprouts and our drinks (indigo butterfly , caprese martini and Almafi Summer) all were so amazing! We debated on what to order for dinner as we seemed to want the same meals. I ordered the Cacio e Pepe. Paige our helpful server graciously guided us through the final selections - my son had the fried chicken sandwich and my husband the tuna sandwich. Each was so delicious and fulfilling. My son devoured his and then he finished mine as I was stuffed from appetizers ( forgot to mention I had an oyster shooter). We so had wanted to try everything but were more than satisfied with our orders. We then wrapped up our dinner with the crème brûlée desert and expresso martini - excellent! I annoyed my family saying what I wanted to try the next time...What a night to start the weekend!

Yelp
Came to Momo's to celebrate a couple of family birthday's and enjoy a nice dining experience. We made reservations about two weeks in advance for five people at 6:30pm. Overall, our experience was pretty good. We arrived at roughly 6:05pm and checked in a bit early. There seemed to be a prom going on nearby and in combination with the events taking place in Charleston this weekend (tournaments, festivals, Bridge Run, etc.), the riverfront had a decent amount of people. Originally, we parked and walked about a quarter of a mile to the restaurant but there's about 5 or 6 parking spots right in front of the restuarant. We were able to get seated at about 6:43pm right after the previous family left. The interior is pretty small, although there was a second floor and a decent amount of outdoor seating with heaters. The menu was pretty simple: a handful of appetizers, a few entrees, a good amount of handhelds (sandwiches and burgers) and some salads. We ordered about 18 oysters which were delicious. Our table also received a complimentary dish of their fried chicken sliders that were very good. I started with the old fashioned cocktail which was very good. My main entree was the Steak Frites with my steak cooked to medium. My steak came out perfect while the fries were just good (could've used a bit more crisp). I also ordered the cucumber tomato salad as a side. Fresh and a great portion size but was really just cucumber, tomato, a bit of onions and vinnegrette. Our main entrees did not arrive until 7:48pm so I ended up ordering a second Old Fashioned. Finished out the night with two desserts that I just picked off of for the most part. Felt like I could've ate more but overall, was satisfied with my meal. A great experience but service did take some time. Really glad I was able to try it.

Yelp
We visited in August for our 10 year anniversary for lunch. We first asked to sit outside but quickly realized it was much too hot, so we asked to go indoors... the waitresses and hostesses were so sweet. The customer service here is top notch. The food was absolutely delicious and came out quickly! Loved the non alcoholic drink options as well. My husband and I both ordered one. We got the Brussels sprouts to share as an app and they were heavenly! My husband got the smoked chicken thighs and I got the momo burger - delicious, but a little messy! The ONLY downside and reason I can't give 5 stars was that the indoors was pretty warm. It was already hot outside, but didn't feel much better indoors. The food and ambiance were superb, but we were sweating and uncomfortable.

Yelp
MOMO is truly a hidden gem in North Charleston! My husband and I have walked at Riverfront Park many times and always talked about trying out MOMO, so we finally did this week with my parents. One of the reasons we have been wanting to go here is because it's close to Park Circle and the restaurant has a great water view! We all tried cocktails from the menu and they were all delicious. I loved the indigo butterfly cocktail! We had fresh delicious oysters and hush puppies for apps. We all agreed they may the best hush puppies in Charleston! We all had a hard time deciding on entrees since everything sounded so good. I got the wedge salad with shrimp that was just perfect! It was dressed with a green goddess dressing that went so well with the grilled shrimp! Our waitress was very friendly and the service was nicely paced. MOMO is a great family dinner or date night spot near Park Circle.
google avatar

Yelp
This is my second time here. The place is nicely decorated and cleaned. Friendly staff and great foods. Try this place out if you haven't. Enjoy!
google avatar

Mara W.

Yelp
It was okay. The Brussels sprouts were the best thing we ordered. Delicious! The deviled eggs were okay, they needed more seasoning. The hamburger my home girl ordered was okay, the bun made the burger. Really thin patty and lacked seasoning. The waiter brought paper straws to the table holding them. No napkin or anything. Absolutely disgusting. The ambiance was nice. Has the look for a beautiful birthday brunch.
google avatar

Jenny S.

Yelp
This was a great new spot to try! It was right on the river so it would've been even better if we were sitting outside. It had a great ambiance and cute decor. The menu was small but everything that we tried was delicious. We started with the Brussel Sprouts and they were great! I ordered the blue cheese burger and it was juicy and flavorful. They also had great fries. My husband got the turkey sandwich. The jam on it was so good! The best part was the Gouda grits though! Definitely give this post a try!

Yelp
Great service - fun location but a little hard to find. Food was good. Waterfront view.

Yelp
Another restaurant I've been meaning to visit for yearsss - since they were in goose creek upon renovating where the old dollar general used to be!!! I'm like how the heck does an all star restaurant find it's self on college park road!? Lmao (we don't get enough of that in the area, mostly chain fast food restaurants so it was a concept not common there.) Anywhoo, flash forward 2023 and you got MOMO overlooking the beauty that's the river and marshland near the navy shipyard so ample amount of parking and space. It's a little maze to find the parking but go near the stretch by the buildings of a parking lot and you'll find it eventually. The restaurant itself has tasteful decor that's light and nautical essence with ample natural lighting. My friend got a spot upstairs where we had great views of the marsh. Service was impeccable, I think our servers name was Jack ? But he and the crew would check in on us and keep our water cups filled which we appreciated for the hot summer day. For starters we shared a hush puppy appetizer, the butter mix dippy was delish. The cocktails were oh-so-pretty too!! I got a gin drink with violet so it had a fun lavender color to it. The food is plated on lovely, earthy stoneware. My friend enjoyed their pulled pork eggy dish and my blueberry basil salad was super refreshing - love a crisp salad and smooth cocktail. Would highly recommend and can't wait to try other goodies on the menu next time!
google avatar

Lyssa C.

Yelp
Went with my mom to celebrate Christmas a few days after since we couldn't be together. I definitely suggest reservations as it is not a huge place. I loved the earthy vibe. Everyone was super friendly and made suggestions. The old fashion could have been drank in one sip it was amazing and dangerous. We decided to split the blueberry basil salad as an app and honestly it was massive! Way bigger than expected! The flavors all came together perfectly. We both got the steak frites. Our steaks were both a perfect med rare and fries crispy. We opted against dessert and instead had a liquid dessert of an espresso martini. They were some of the best we have had. Overall, had an outstanding experience and look forward to going back and enjoying the outside patio!

Yelp
This was such a good choice. Wewe're supposed to be at Firefly but it was postponed. Was lucky enough to grab a table for two on a busy brunch day. The Bloody Mary with the huge shrimp was so good. I had the Ceviche.Amazing! Hubby had the seafood omelet. I was pretty miffed about that since I make the best omelet in the land. But he loved it

Yelp
A cool 50° brunch outside on the Momo patio with the kiddos didn't disappoint- heaters (2!) and blankets made the whole experience super comfy and lovely. Good menu with some brunchy options- not overly egg focused so a bit different from most brunch spots. The kids turned their noses up at the chicken strips and had fries for lunch (what's new?) and our food came out quick and was delicious. The acidity on the salmon toast was a perfect balance- pickled veg really made this great. The wedge was tasty but was slightly overdressed. Service was very good- really friendly staff as soon as we arrived. They were great with the kids and very accommodating. The first time we came, we sat inside but outside was perfect to let the kiddos run around and keep an eye on them as they explored Riverfront Park.

Yelp
This place is an amazing hidden gem. The food, drinks, ambiance, all of it. The food we ordered was all delicious. We topped the night off with some crème brûlée dessert, which was divine. The patio seating was my favorite, although I could see it getting a little too hot out there in the summer months. There was a nice breeze from the water when we were there. Check out the pics we took! Gives you a good idea of some of the menu items.

Yelp
MOMO is a classy restaurant that offers beautiful waterfront views and great food. They are perfect for a date night or special occasion. My dining experience was perfect in every way. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Not the easiest venue to find if you're not specifically looking to visit the Riverfront Park. Based on the Yelp reviews, my wife and I decided to visit for lunch. It's suggested that you call for reservations. We didn't have reservations and therefore didn't get the prime outdoor seating for lunch. Very nice location near the river with a private parking lot close by. A good place to go if you are in the mood for oysters and other seafood. Although there is something for everyone. I had the fried chicken sandwich which comes on a bun with white pimiento cheese on top. The chicken itself was a very moist and tender breast. My wife had the turkey sandwich which comes with cheddar cheese and an apple berry jam spread on top. It almost looks like cranberry sauce which is what I originally thought it was. Our waiter Andrew was great---very attentive. They also have an excellent beer, wine and craft cocktail list. There's also oyster bar seating for those who just want to chow down on oysters.

Yelp
Great views and great service. We came for Sunday brunch and sat upstairs and enjoyed the open air and beautiful seaside views. The food itself , however, fell flat for our expectations. The drinks : Bloody Mary - did not care for it and I think it was the dill flavor vodka that was off-putting . Mimosa flight - it was good but take note , the flight does not come premixed . They bring you a bottle of champagne and mixers and you mix it yourself . It's enough for two people. Hushpuppies - we ordered because the description said jalapeños so we thought it was going to be a mixture of sweet and spicy . The jalapeños were in the butter but you couldn't taste them at all . BBQ Hash - consisted of pulled pork, cajun potatoes, 2 fried eggs, avocado hollandaise. The pulled pork was marinated and drenched in a sweet bbq sauce - the flavors did not blend well and it was not good . My partner did not like the French toast entree he ordered . Neither of us finished anything . Although I was not impressed with our Brunch food experience , I would give them another try for dinner.

Yelp
Lucky to score a table on for Saturday lunch! Each of our orders were delicious. I brought in out of town guests and they were all very happy! We had a rainy day but there was a great large booth table in the corner for us. Wait staff is great and all friendly!

Yelp
The service was attentive. Our waitress knew the menu well and provided great recommendations. They place vases of water on the table and continue to walk by refilling water glasses. The glasses are small. The food is good. I ordered the Cacio de Pepe and although it was good it was flavored far too much with pepper. The ambiance was nice for an intimate dining experience.
google avatar

Yelp
My boyfriend and I are new to the area and have already visited a couple times. The caprese cocktail is so delicious- the jalapeño margarita is really good too. I would definitely recommend the deviled eggs (his favorite) and the ceviche (my favorite). We've always had excellent service - last time we were in we sat upstairs with Hanna (I hope I'm remembering her name; blonde bartender) and it was lovely.

Yelp
The setting and ambiance by the river make this restaurant fantastic. It has a great Southern charm, and the food is absolutely delicious. The service was outstanding, and the drinks were amazing. The Old Fashioned drink was rated 9 out of 10, and we also enjoyed the burger and salad, which were both excellent.

Yelp
I'm counting the minutes until I go back to MOMO. Gorgeous waterfront view from the patio. The most interesting drink I've ever had in my life - a Caprese martini. A must try. The burger on the other hand was underwhelming, it was small, lacked flavor, and the truffle fries were overcooked. Should've gone with the turkey sandwich, that thing looked massive. Next time.

Yelp
My friend recommended this restaurant and it was fantastic! The drinks are unique and tasty. The food options also have twists on what you might find somewhere else- all amazing. I'll definitely be coming back here again with her.

Yelp
We had a lovely experience here at MOMO. I hadn't been before and brought my college girlfriends here on a visit. Our server was fine, but there were times we were looking for her to come back. Otherwise, the food was good and the decor was lovely. I do like that it isn't crammed together. The patio was lovely and it was nice to go look on the water after dinner.

Yelp
Okay what an unexpected gem that we found after finishing a great morning at the circle park playground. This place is under 10 minutes away at the Navy yard and the setting was wonderful right on the water in the sunshine and we loved it. There was some outdoor space for everyone to run around and enjoy after we were done our lunch. Two of the four of us got the catfish sandwich special and they both absolutely raved about it. My mother-in-law got a blueberry apricot basil salad, and I got a tuna melt. The ambiance was so so lovely and our server was very attentive and personal

Yelp
Situated in the middle of Riverfront park at the old Navel Base, MOMO's offers good food, great services, and a fantastic view. The Restaurant is in a restored Building L which is a former home or office at the Naval Base Our excellent service was provided by Kristen. We each started with a cocktail. I had and loved, the Espresso Martini, consisting of Three olives triple shot vodka, Kahlua, Six & Twenty Carolina cream. An absolute beautiful and delicious drink I also liked but not as much the wife's Tabby's Cabin, which was Baked Apple and Brown Sugar-Soaked Vodka, Maple Syrup, Sparkling Apple Cider, Pomegranate, Rosemary. Unfortunately, since she did not like her drink, I gave her my wonderful Martini. The wife typically does not like Brussels Sprouts, so I had to convince her to split this surprisingly large appetizer with me. This turned out to be an old star order as she really loved the Bacon soy vinaigrette, sesame, wildflower honey sauce on the fried golden nuggets. The wife ordered and enjoyed MOMO Burger Smashed patty, shaved lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, American cheese, special sauce, and Martin's bun. The sauce was very interesting, for you older folks think Big Boy Burger when Shoney's was under that franchise. My Shrimp & Grits Adluh gouda grits, with pulled pork, crème fraiche, and a smoked tomato gravy. While I did enjoy this, it is a very rich, slightly heavy dish and perfect if you are hungry.

Yelp
In town for the weekend. A friend recommended this spot. I gotta say we waited at least 90 minutes to be seated. The restaurant's inside dining is smaller than the outside but the view of the riverfront is priceless! The food was very good but a bit pricey for the portions.

Yelp
Everything was so great I just made another reservation! The food was outstanding and very reasonably priced. The location and ambiance couldn't have been better. We sat on the patio--it was a beautiful late afternoon and so peaceful. And the drinks were fantastic (MOMO Spritz & Bloody Mary)! We loved everything about our experience.
