"Momocho loves to go stunt queen on classic Mexican dishes. Their guac is extra in every sense of the word, with add-ins like black pepper pecorino, roasted garlic, and agave, and the butternut squash-goat cheese flautas dipped in red chile and mole will win over even the most meat-and-potatoes Midwesterner. All the cocktails are great, and while you can certainly opt for a standard salt or sugar rim, consider trying the blend of dried ants and black lava salt. This loud, tight spot doesn’t take reservations, and the parking lot is tiny, but it’s worth the slight inconvenience for a fun dinner here." - kate bigam kaput

I am very pleased with the service, atmosphere, and the food. Their homemade sauce was exceptionally delicious. For a refreshing beverage, I highly recommend their cucumber Margaritas. The mango margarita was also quite enjoyable!

This was my second time eating here. The first time was about 2 years ago and I don’t remember it being that memorable. Went today and was absolutely blown away. From the service to the atmosphere everything was amazing. The food was top tier. I had the carnitas and got to try the blue corn enchiladas. I would highly recommend either dish. This place is truly, one of Cleveland‘s hidden gems. I don’t drink, but they were having drink specials I noticed. I will definitely be back, often.

The food and drinks were top-notch at Momocho. We shared the goat cheese guacamole, the Pepita Trout, and the Blue Corn Enchiladas. Every bite was delectable. The margaritas and other drinks were also very tasty. Cute atmosphere, great sevice.

I've had this place in my saved restaurant list for awhile and I finally had a chance to check it out for Cinco de Mayo after it was rated #1 Mexican in the Cleveland magazine. Tbh, I did not have high hopes for this place as it was in the running with two other Mexican restaurants in the Cleveland magazine, Cilantro Taqueria and Barrio Tacos. I've been to both and they were, meh. To be fair, I did live in San Diego for 22 years and I'm still trying to find a good taco place out here. I was absolutely blown away by this place!! They should be in a category of their own! This place is so much more than just simply Mexican. Whoever greeted us at the door was super friendly and seemed genuinely happy to have us there. It seems like many places now could care less if you're there or not. It was busy for Cinco de Mayo but the wait wasn't too bad. We ordered drinks t the bar: blood orange, pomegranate and a spicy mango margarita along with their tequila recommendation. I recommend the spicy mango margarita! We enjoyed our drinks outside while we waited for our table. Luckily the rain stopped long enough for us to check out their beautiful patio. The place is bigger than you imagine and there is an upstairs where we were seated. We were greeted immediately by our server and did not wait long for even more drinks. We started off was their charred tomato salsa chiltomate and salsa Verde. Both salsas were fresh and the charred tomato salsa was really interesting and not your typical bright red salsa. For dinner we ordered their Camarones and machaca Taquitos. The camarones came with a pineapple salsa and had a bright citrusy flavor. The machaca was everything that you would want, it was tender juicy and flavorful in a shallow bowl of piled up meat covered in juices. The best meal was their Barbacoa, glazed pork shoulder & smoked pork belly, “street corn” masa grits, fried brussel sprouts. I've never heard of or had street corn masa grits but I don't know how I lived without them! Everything about that meal was absolutely amazing. Honestly one of the best meals I've had in a very long time. The meat was so tender and juicy and so flavorful with bits of crispy pork. It was such an amazing combination with the masa grits and brussel sprouts. I wish I had more words to describe it, but you will just have to go and try it for yourself. Lastly, we had their fried ice cream for dessert with a peanut, chocolate and cornflake crust topped with whipped cream. I will definitely be back and can't wait to enjoy the patio when it's nicer outside!! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for an amazing place with friendly staff, a fun atmosphere and great food!

Google
It is a cute find in a neighborhood. I would never think that is a restaurant. The restaurant is actually inside of a town home. By the way, we found this place via Chatgpt recommended travel itinerary. Ok, let's talk service. Nice! The owner is there taking us to the table. And the girl took care of us are super nice. When she found out our daughter had allergy, she offered to give us veggie as chips instead of chips that were fried in the frier that used for food contains peanuts. Food: I have my likes and not so great- I liked that guacamole, very creative. We tried the trio. Goat cheese, smoke trout, and black pepper ones. We also ordered steak. The steak was good, but the potatoes was awesome!! It is deep fried baked potatoes? Not sure how it was cooked, but it was crunchy outside and software inside. And it was mixed with bacon and almond. Yummy 😋.. Not my favorite: the beef brisket taco. The meat was kinda dry.. the enchiladas was kinda salty.. The margaritas were little too sweet.

This is the best mexican restaurant in the greater cleveland area. It's easily some of the best tacos and Enchiladas that I've had by far. The prices here are modest it is not inexpensive by any means, but it is well worth it. Parking here is easy. There is a small free lot next to the building but do arrive early. This place is very popular, and the lot fills up fast. The dining room is also quite small, so don't be surprised if there is a wait. The servers here are very friendly and helpful and even ask you if there are any dietary restrictions while taking your orders. I'd also highly recommend the margaritas here very well, balanced and full of flavor.

This was my first time visiting and it’s now my favorite restaurant!!! I went last Saturday around 4 pm on a date with a beautiful and awesome nurse that I work with that raves about how wonderful your food is. I was blown away from the start. We walked in and the vibe and atmosphere of the restaurant was incredible with low rider bikes similar to those from LA on the west coast, pictures of Luchadors, and a nice painting of Guy Fieri on the wall. We got a lime margarita and a wonderful spicy mango Marg with tajín rims and we blown away with the guacamole flight! We loved the pecorino romano with the sweetness from the agave, corn n crab guacamole, and enjoyed the goat cheese too. They even brought out this amazing homemade Momocho hot sauce that me and my date adored like kids in a candy store (they sell bottles to go home). It has great flavor, well balanced with acidity, good heat, and goes great on anything! For entrees, my date got the tacos dorados and I got the carne asada. We loved the mojo/chimichurri sauce with the steak n the double fried potatoes with pecorino. We also really loved the tacos dorado dish and that was my favorite part of the night, besides my amazing date of course. The owner Eric welcomed us with open arms at the door almost like he was welcoming us into his home and asked how our meals were at the end. The service, atmosphere, and food were 10/10 so make your way to Momocho for smiles, amazing food, and a great vibe!

Yelp
Simply excellent. Visiting from out of town and stopped here due to the reviews. They were correct. Sat at the bar and Charolette was an excellent server. For was excellent. Not your typical Mexican menu, higher end.

Meera K.

Yelp
This was such a fun date night spot! Could be casual or upscale casual, no pressure! The food was delicious, I loved the mole sauce on the flautas, we asked for more! And we are hot sauce lovers and the momocho hot sauce did not miss, it was delicious on the remolacha taquitos and on the chips and salsa. Doe drinks, we enjoyed the Oaxacan old fashioned, mezcal sour, killer bee and margarita flight, all very well balanced. Highly recommend next time you're in Ohio City!

Yelp
Love margaritas? Love guacamole? Love Momocho! Momocho is the place to go if you are looking for a modern take on Mexican, a flight of margaritas, or a flight of guacamole. Yes, I said a flight of guacamole. Try it. Trust me. My friend and I sat at the bar, which is full service. I had a flight of margaritas and chose the blood orange, hibiscus, and pomegranate. For our flight of guacamole, we tried the goat cheese, the crab, and the peppercorn. For some reason we thought we needed more food, so I ordered the chile relleno and my friend ordered the camarones tacos. Excellent, excellent food. I am going to have to return to Cleveland soon so I can come back here! If you haven't been: be aware that there is a parking lot, but it is very small and fits about 8 cars, so you may have to look for street parking. There is some outside seating, some inside, and a little at the bar.

Yelp
Momocho is much more than a dining and drinking experience. It's an immersive experience with all the eclectic artwork including photos and masks of luchadares, the masked wrestlers that trace back to the early 1900s in Mexico. The displays are really intriguing and I had a great time wandering through the restaurant to check out everything on display. In my younger years, I wrestled... and thought, "How cool would have been to wear masks and take on the persona of a mysterious wrestler like the luchadores?!" But I digress. The drink and food menus are very enticing which makes it challenging to decide. I opted for the following and really enjoyed it all. Margarita sampler - a selection of three from nine offerings that include spicy mango, blood orange, pomegranate, pineapple, cranberry, honey-ginger, red bell pepper, and hibiscus. Guacamole sampler - a selection of three from six offering that include traditional, goat cheese & tomato, black pepper pecorino & roasted garlic, pineapple-jicama-mint, crab & pickled corn, and smoked trout & bacon. Blistered shishito peppers Pecan crusted trout with pickled jalapeño mustard crema The dessert menu is limited to a few items, but they all look good. Service is excellent.

Yelp
The owner was very personable. The food was really good. Definitely try the different guacamole that they offer.

Yelp
Pretty good Mexican food and definitely will be revisiting. I've heard a lot of hype about this place for a while and I don't think it fully lives up to those expectations, but it was definitely decent for the price. I got the carnitas taquitos: the tortillas/arroz were soft and the sauces were flavorful, but the carnitas were on the chewier/drier side. One of my friends ordered the shrimp taquitos and liked those, so I'd recommend that instead. The guac was delicious and the paloma was decent for the price. Service was fantastic. The inside is pretty crowded but they do have seating in a patio area out back so the wait wasn't horrible on a Friday night.

Courtney E.

Yelp
My meal here was one of the best unexpected dinners I've ever had. I'm not an adventurous eater, so coming here and seeing this take on Mexican food was a new and fortunate experience. When it comes to Mexican food I'm used to tacos, quesadillas, and churros, but I'm glad I decided to try something more complex with added depth. For my main I had the carne asada. The sauces and seasoning were insane. The steak was perfectly cooked and the potatoes and toppings had so much flavor it made me reevaluate what I previously considered Mexican food. There was so much to it than I realized. Better that I learn that now than in 20 years. For dessert I tried the fried ice cream. I've always been curious about it, but never ordered it. It was good as well! Ice cream, crunchy cornflake exterior, coconut, whip cream, and chocolate - can't go wrong! I didn't have much interaction with the staff, but they were friendly. My waiter was knowledgeable and went over every item on the menu efficiently. It is a small place with upstairs dining available and the main floor can get really loud. Also, if you can't tell from other patrons' photos, there is a bar and the restaurant is a little dark inside at night. I can't really speak to the decor as I didn't take a particular interest in it, but I think there were a few neon lighted signs around. I'm really grateful for this experience and to try such amazing food on my first day in Cleveland. I hope the other restaurants/eateries I have lined up are up to par.

Rita O.

Yelp
This was my first time at Momocho, the decor is unique. I personally preferred the upstairs area. For appetizers we got the guacamole with goat cheese, the tortillas and guac were a 10/10. We also ordered the chicken taquitos, the carne asada, and the flautas. Everything was superb. I loved the flautas the most, my friends preferred the carne asada and said the sauce was delicious (they were not wrong). The service was also great, my friends and I were so into our conversation we lost track of time and stayed a bit after closing time and we were not even kicked out, I do not recommend doing what we did though . We also tried almost all the margaritas on the menu, the cucumber was my favorite, my friends loved the blood orange one, the ginger honey was yummy too. The spicy mango was a bit too spicy for me. All in all, stop by Momocho!

Justin H.

Yelp
Just an absolutely perfect dining experience. First time I was there was with a wrestler friend who was born in Tijuana and they loved the food and preparation of the taquitos. Great authentic flavors with modern upscale presentation. They also loved Lucha Libre theme. My second visit was even better than my first and we dove in to an assortment of apps and small plates to share. Brussel sprouts were perfect. And everyone got margarita flights to try the different flavors. My favorite was the one with the red pepper rim. We sat at the bar and service was great and all the customers seemed to enjoy their food, drinks and the staff. All around A+ experience and one of my new regular destinations anytime friends come to visit me on the West Side.

Zoe N.

Yelp
So delicious! My go to for catering annual Birthday celebration. The owner and crew are so friendly, service is excellent, food excellent. They never disappoint. A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Emily S.

Yelp
The food here is so good. I forgot to take a picture of the tamale before digging in because it looked so appetizing. Only down side is no reservations, but it's worth the wait. It's a a small and cute space, so if you can't wait maybe try a week night or a small group.

Sydney R.

Yelp
Love this place! It fills up fast though so you might need a reservation. The margarita flights and guacamole flights are soooo worth it.

Kelli H.

Yelp
Ona whim my husband and I decided we wanted to eat out rather than cook at home and visiting Momocho for the first time won the day. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the menu had wide variation with more than your typical Americanized Mexican fare. Specifically, we were thrilled to see so much mole on the menu as that is a favorite in our house. We were seated at a table right next to the door, which is not my favorite in the cooler months - we definitely suffered from the constant in and out at the door. Momocho should consider getting a curtain to cover the door to prevent some of that draft, or removing the table we were sat at, as this impacted the overall enjoyment of the experience. We started with an order of the chochoyotes which are masa dumplings. These were just fine. My husband got the chile poblano relleno which he said was good, and a side of black beans which he hasn't stopped talking about to this day. I got the flautas which were excellent - the brussel sprouts help to soak up all the flavor of the mole and the presentation is especially impressive. I didn't have room for dessert but I wanted to so badly - that'll have to happen next time.

Anne L.

Yelp
The food here was absolutely brilliant - the flavors were entirely spot on. We got a taste of the chef's special hot sauce, which was indeed hot and also flavorful and potentially addictive. The service was amazing, the decor very colorful, and we will be returning. For those of you who drink tequila/mezcal, they have a wide menu in that arena. Highly, highly recommend.

Yaz A.

Yelp
This has been on my list for awhile. I feel like most Mexican restaurants I've tried in town have been average. But this hole in the wall exceeded all expectations. There was street parking and parking specifically for the restaurant as well so I didn't have a hard time there. We waited a couple minutes for a table (did not have a reservation) and were then escorted to the second floor. Our waitress suggested the guacamole trio so we tried the Goat Cheese, Black Pepper Pecorino and Pineapple guac. They were AMAZING (minus the pineapple guac, but that's because I personally I don't like fruits with my guac, although, for people that do, my friend loved it). I also appreciated the refill on the chips. The waitress was very helpful and aided me in choosing the chile poblano relleno. It did not disappoint at all. It was decently sized for the price and bursting in flavor. I'm not a vegetarian, but for those that are, I HIGHLY recommend this as a dish. I'm sure the rest of their entrees are probably just as great considering and look forward to trying this place again. Service was great, vibes were chill, and food was amazing. I rarely give 5 stars, but Momocho deserved it.

Shanice F.

Yelp
This place is seriously amazing! Will be back! I have dreams about this food and the service was incredible

Vanessa L.

Yelp
Honestly, the vibes were immaculate. I definitely recommend the margarita trio for only $15 and there were so many options to choose from! Extensive drink menu for sure so there was something for everyone. My friend got the taquitos which he said was lovely and came with a lot of meat too. I got the halibut which was also very unique and delicious. The flavor profile was definitely there and I love how they incorporated a modern twist to traditional Mexican cuisine. I don't live in this city but if I did I would definitely be back! I definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Evan Z.

Yelp
amazing food and service. Get the charred tomato salsa and the margarita trio you won't regret it.

Antonio P.

Yelp
Momocho is a modern Mexican restaurants with a casual, bar-like vibe, good service, and great food. I ordered the carnitas taquitos and the chile relleno--both were excellent, and I'd love to have them again. The taquitos were a bit unusual in that they were served as a bowl of meat with tortillas and sauce on the side, but they were delicious nonetheless. And I've never had a breaded chile relleno (like a tamale), but this also worked really well. If you like Mexican food, Momocho is a fusion restaurant worth trying.

Tripti R.

Yelp
Definitely an underrated spot in Cleveland! I came here for dinner on a Saturday night and they were very busy. Thankfully, they had seating available at the chef's table. This was actually really nice since the kitchen staff was able to give us recommendations on what to order based on our preferences. Parking was pretty easy since they have a lot in attached to the restaurant We tried the black pepper pecorino and roasted garlic guacamole. I didn't love the taste and would try another guac flavor next time. I had the flautas which were delicious. The Brussels sprouts in this dish are exceptional. I also had the aqua fresca which was nice and refreshing. Overall, this was a great experience. Food was memorable and tasty and I would come back!

Stefanie N.

Yelp
Anniversary visit! Sat right away on a Saturday evening. Ordered salsa chiltomate and queso fondido to share and a couple margaritas. Best salsa I've been had - hands down. Margaritas are SUPER flavorful. Can't wait to come back and try more on the menu!

Maya H.

Yelp
Cute restaurant with a latin theme. Ambiance is romantic. Food seemed over priced and a little bland for my taste but the guac trio was good.

Richard O.

Yelp
Food, drinks and service is always good, nice shady patio just know that if you go here there will be a long wait. No reservations!

Leslie A.

Yelp
We had a Paloma because it was a happy hour special. It was ok. It wasn't very strong Then - after reading reviews here, we ordered the seasonal margarita- which is a spicy strawberry. It was very good. We also had crab guac - good Queso fundido - good (very thick though) We went with the Carne Asada because so many people on Yelp liked it. It was so good! The potatoes it came with were amazing !!! We also had a fried egg put on top! You do have to pay for chips and salsa here Jsyk

Alekhya M.

Yelp
Amazing food, even better cocktails. The guac and chips were fresh. Came here in 2016 and still have the fondest memories of this place. Can't wait to make an exclusive trip to Cleveland just for this place!!

Sagarika N.

Yelp
Great food and ambiance! We were told to expect a wait of about 30 minutes and our table was ready in that exact timeframe. They don't take reservations and the patio is not currently open, so expect a wait time of about 20-30 minutes even on weekdays. The service was very good too!

Laurence K.

Yelp
Service was excellent And food was great too Tacos had a greasy selection and Margaritas also great

Kimberly M.

Yelp
If I can give this place 10 stars I would! My husband and I saw this place on a show before moving here and had to try their guacamole trio. From the sip of their margaritas, to their crab guacamole, their machaca taquitos, and fried ice cream.. all I can say is this place is a must try! What made the experience better is the service by the chefs and being front row to their cooking. We will be seeing you soon Momocho!

Jenny C.

Yelp
We dined here for a second time a few weeks after the last. As much as I like to try new things, we repeated a few dishes, as they were definite musts: the crab guac, goat cheese guac, and cucumber margarita. As for the new ones: -Smoked trout guac (part of the sampler, $21): more subtle than imagined. Bits of smoked trout throughout (not too different from smoked salmon) and no fishiness. Quite good. -Blue corn enchiladas "suiza" ($16): small serving size for the price, but the taste is spot on. The flavor profile really hits the spot for any Mexican food craving. Complex enough to not get palate fatigue, and hearty enough to be comforting. Loved it! -Pollo taquito ($15): super tender and flavorful. Though fair warning - this dish uses dark meat, so if you prefer white meat, this is not for you. -Chocobomba ($6): as far as chocolate mousses go, I can't imagine it getting any better than this. Silky smooth. The bits of chocolate scattered throughout somehow felt like tiny pockets of chocolate air, making the mousse feel both light and rich at the same time. The quality of the food held steady and once again hit the spot. The only downside this time was the service, which was so slow that we almost opted to skip dessert out of frustration. Good thing we didn't! At the end of the day, would still come again!

Darian S.

Yelp
Went here on a Saturday Night 12/10, got seated within 35-40 minutes, it was packed and I see why! The food was amazing, staff was very nice and knowledgeable, my fiancé and I will definitely be back! -We ordered the Queso fundido, BLUE CORN ENCHILADAS "SUIZA" , and CARNE asada all were amazing! Also got the margarita trio- pineapple with the original rim was sooo good!

Kate L.

Yelp
I love momocho! As do most people I know, and it's well deserved. They have delicious food that is reasonably priced, a fun atmosphere with very friendly service, and what's not to love about margarita flights?? It's not necessarily traditional Mexican food, but delicious all the same. The tamale is one of my favorite things I've ordered, and the goat cheese guac is also a must. They do not take reservations and there is often a wait, but their time estimates tend to be accurate and you can order a drink while you wait, or walk around Ohio city. In the summer they have a great patio too! When I have someone visiting and I want to show them a good time in Cleveland, Momocho is at the top of my list for dinner spots. Highly recommend if you haven't tried it out!!

Dean D.

Yelp
My wife and I, who live in suburban Detroit, were in Cleveland for an event earlier this year and went to Momocho for the first time. We were truly impressed by how great it was. How impressed? So much so that we drove from Detroit to celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary there! And, to no surprise, our second experience at Momocho was even better than our first! As someone who loves to cook, the Chef's Table was an incredible place to sit. And I have to say, Chef Nick was so friendly and accommodating. We talked about cooking, he made great recommendations, and just made the evening even more enjoyable. (He even shared his secret for cooking an awesome Thanksgiving turkey.) Also, MJ, who was helping out (getting our drinks, etc.) was fab, too. The food was spectacular. We had a flight of guacs (pecorino, smoked trout, and goat cheese), the grilled octopus, and the carrot elote. All so damn good! I had the pork chop entree and my wife had the butternut squash flautas (you *have* to get the fried egg on top!). No surprise that those dishes were perfect as well. Unfortunately, we were so full, we couldn't do dessert. But watching the fried ice cream being prepared was almost as good as eating it. (Not really. We'll get some next time!) Oh, yeah. The blood orange and honey-ginger margaritas? Stellar. I love the combination of flavors the Momocho team puts together, not only in their food, but in their drinks, too. We've only been there twice, but Momocho is our favorite restaurant. Period. The only downside? That it's 2 hours and 45 minutes away from our house. But, you know what? That's a small sacrifice to make for such delicious food and drink! We'll be back! And we might bring friends with us the next time!

Selena Y.

Yelp
One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Cleveland! This restaurant has a more refined and upscale flair, and the food never disappoints. Definitely arrive early if possible, since it can get pretty busy during peak dining hours. As someone who can be indecisive and who always wants to try a little bit of everything, I LOVED seeing the guacamole sampler and the margarita sampler on the menu so I can try more flavors. I ended up loving all the flavors we ordered, but if I had to choose, the goat cheese guac and the spicy mango marg were my top faves. Entree-wise - you can't go wrong with anything. I recently tried the blue corn enchilada "suiza" and loved it. I also tried some of the flautas (which is a vegetarian option), and it had so much flavor with the bold mole sauce; I didn't miss meat at all! Overall, great spot to catch up with friends or for a casual date night. Can't wait to return!

Ailin J.

Yelp
Went here for tequila Tuesday around 5:45 and got a seat easily! Once it hit 6:30 it definitely got packed though so keep that in mind! They don't do reservations and it's street parking. You can do marg flights or tequila flights and they have a great deal and large selection especially on Tuesdays. First of all, love that we get a huge basket of chips. I hate constantly asking for refills of chips at places and we never asked once here. Guacamole was classic, would've preferred it to have a tad more lime taste but can't go wrong with plain good simple guac. Great size too! Was pleasantly surprised with the chorizo fundido. It had onions peppers with it making it very filling and satisfying. The fried egg on top was a nice touch. We enjoyed it with our chips but they bring tortillas for this as well as another option. I wish it was more gooey than sticky to make it easier for our chips but if it was used with the tortillas the consistently would've worked well! We were stuffed after our appetizers but couldn't not order a real entree. We decided on the carnitas taquitos and was satisfied. The meat was extremely juicy and oozed out which was messy but good messy. I love that our entree was almost entirely leftovers because I'd rather be stuffed after a meal than still starving. Overall had a great time here and would come back! Also anywhere with marg flights I'm also already sold :)

Leslie S.

Yelp
Pros: This was my first time having modern mexican food and it was delicious! I had the butternut squash flautas and they were phenomenal. We also shared the pineapple habanero guacamole, it was very spicy but refreshing. For dessert we had the Mexican chocolate mouse, very good. The drinks were also well executed. Cons: The food was a little salty for my taste. I expected the medican chocolate mouse to be a little more bitter, but it was still super tasty.

Anthony T.

Yelp
No surprise! They are still a number one dining spot in Cleveland-West! Great service and Mezcal! The bar-tender "Charlotte" is pleasant and obviously happy person A dynamic and refreshing personality!!! Super hard worker!! And yet does not lose her smile!

Seth C.

Yelp
One of our Fav restaurants in CLE. Love the vibes of the interior and outdoor eating area. Excellent food w fresh ingredients

Priya P.

Yelp
The vibes of this place are great!! Very cozy, vintage feel inside. I had the flautas and they were pretty tasty! I think the dish could have had a bit more acidity to cut through the flavors, but other than that it was pretty good! The flavors blended decently well together. I didn't have any drinks, but heard they are great so I will try to be back before I leave!

John W.

Yelp
Fun place. Definitely a modern take on Mexican. Food was great! Would definitely return if in the area. Great place to bring guests.

Tim C.

Yelp
Excellent experience! John, our server, was very good- recommendations and unobtrusive attention. Food was delicious Arrived in time for happy hour- Paloma and beer with a shot of el jimador for $8 each. Trout guac was top!

For Cleveland West-siders, Momocho is a Mexican restaurant with amazing margaritas, taquitos, and other amazing menu items. The restaurant is in a building with two levels. The entire space is cozy and a perfect location for romantic meetings or friendly catch-up. Downstairs is bar + dining, upstairs is dining only. Momocho's Margarita is really good. The menu lists 9 flavors, I had pineapple, pomegranate & honey ginger (my absolute favorite). My friends had a similar mix with the hibiscus & spicy mango flavors. The spicy mango is definitely spicy so be careful with that one. My meal: Carne Asada was so tasty, the steak was grilled perfectly and the papas bravas was absolutely divine. #roamingcle #roamingcleveland

Yelp
definitely one of my favs in cleveland and a really great spot for Mexican food - might not be the most authentic but the modern take is done really well. been here a couple times for drinks and dinner. They have several flavors of margaritas and salt options, and you really can't go wrong. But, cucumber and spicy mango have a special place in my heart. If you can't decide or want to try a few they offer margarita flights. They also have to-go margs that come in bottles, probably 2-3 drinks per bottle. Their guac is delicious and they also have quite a few flavors to choose from. The pineapple was my favorite - perfect combo of sweet and spicy. For the main course, I got the flautas, which is full of flavor. I'd ask for more of the mole sauce on the side though. I wish they have a couple more vegetarian main dishes but what they do have is great.

Yelp
I have eaten Mexican food across and outside of the United States. Momocho is the best modern Mexican I have ever had by far. Their guac is world class and every dish is exploding with flavor. Can't recommend the this place enough. The decor and vibe is perfect and service is always great!

Yelp
Great food and great service! A great place for a girls night or a nice dinner. My favorite part of probably the generous portions of guac served with warm and seasoned chips. We got the butternut squash flautas, chicken taquitos, and the enchiladas- everything was so flavorful and delicious. The craft margs were also great (highly recommend the special guava if it's available). Definitely some of the best modern Mexican food in Cleveland!

Yelp
One of the best restaurants in Ohio city. I would highly recommend this restaurant to those I know. I love the fun cocktail menu. Both the ambience and decor, indoors and outdoors, is just lovely. The bartenders are always so nice. It's a Great vibe and an awesome neighborhood staple!
