Brookside’s multigenerational Italian landmark since 1969, still run by the Aloisio family. House sausage, baked pastas, and wood-fired pies anchor the menu. Frequently recognized by Tulsa World readers and Oklahoma Magazine.

I’m from out of town. I’ve moved and lived in a lot of places to recognize when unfair service is in play. The waitress seemed nice but was quite passive aggressive in slamming the cocktail menu down to pour a drink for my husband and handing me my check as well. I was paying attention to her and she served everyone else with more of a gentle nature, attentiveness, and urgency. The food was pretty good though.

Google
The food is absolutely delicious. They have so many different dishes to choose from that you can get almost anything you want. The staff are friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. This place is a must visit if you are looking for good authentic Italian cuisine.

Google
We had a bit of everything on the menu - bruschetta was a bit bland, mozzarella sticks were great loved the dipping sauce, garlic cheese bread was good, salads were fresh and balanced with flavors, the house dressing was good. We had pasta and seafood, pasta and chicken, and pasta with sausage n meatballs - all were very good - except the Italian sausage, it was just too spicy. I would recommend Mondo’s, but be prepared to wait on a table it’s a busy place

Google
This was truly a delightful place. We went for lunch and got in right away. I had eggplant Parmesan and my friend had a meatball with spaghetti. Both of us got to choose marinara sauce or meat sauce. And both of us picked meat sauce. I enjoyed the eggplant Parmesan as it was a nice thick cut like 1 inch and a half....best I think I've ever had in Tulsa or surrounding communities! All I could get down was the eggplant. A lot of food, mine came with a salad of choice plus bread. Under $15.00 bucks!!!! The waitress was a little rough and overly abrasive.

Google
The picture absolutely doesn't do it justice. Not only is the food beyond amazing, the atmosphere is the most incredible place I've ever been! It is so rare to find somewhere that has maintained business for 50+years but also where the owners still work it with their families! They have literally poured their lives into this place and deserve your money far more than some chain restaurant. Will definitely be returning! Prices may seem a tad high at first but once you see the huge portion sizes, included sides, and taste the rich quality, you will not be disappointed and see they are very much worth it! The owner is very humble, kind, and ensures staff provide impeccable service 🙌🙏💛 We had the eggplant with meat sauce and mushrooms, calamari, minestrone soup, and shrimp Alfredo. It is very family friendly and also has a separate sports bar area. The vintage booths are spacious and comfortable, too!

Google
Love the atmosphere. The food well, the food was delicious. I had a meatball sub, and it is enough food for 2 meals. The "side" salad was large enough for a meal by itself it came with the manicotti my wife ordered. Service was good, and speed was fast. We ordered ravioli to go, and it was delicious as well.

Google
I'll start off with the positives, the service was great, our server was very nice, promptly helped us anytime we asked. The atmosphere of the place is also great, it's a little too dark for my tastes, and slightly too tight, but the decor is great. On to the food, the portion sizes are large which is nice, but overall the taste was just ok. The mozzarella sticks seemed a little undercooked, and slightly under seasoned. The calamari was rubbery and also seemed under seasoned. The chicken parm was pretty good though. The garlic bread was probably my favorite part of the meal. Overall it's a nice place just maybe not to my tastes for food.

Google
Mondo's is a very good restaurant. This is the second time I've gone. The food last time I had was a woodfried pizza and was probably the best pizza I've had in Tulsa to this day. Today, I ordered the chicken parm and it came with a salad of choice or soup (I chose a Ceaser salad) and bread the salad was fresh with a different type of dressing then I'm accustomed too had a lemony flavor that was quite good the bread was warm soft with the right amount of seasoning and the chicken parm was huge and seasoned perfectly and I chose the meat sauce that was also very good but feel I should have just chose the marinara sauce. The service both times has been amazing this place is definitely a goto if you want itialian food or pizza also was a wide variety of wines and drinks.

Yelp
Not a big fan of Italian food and I don't like this sketchy area of Peoria. Too much traffic, too many people, painful parking. All of this has kept Mondo's off of my list to try. I'm running out of places to try, so I'm here. Good timing today. Light traffic, and to my surprise, Mondo's has lots of easy to access parking. The restaurant is as attractive on the inside as outside. It looks like and Italian restaurant on the inside. Walls covered with family pictures. If you took the time, you could probably identify pictures of notorious mobsters on the wall. Immediately greeted and seated by Sandy. We had a big comfortable booth. We had already studied the menu. My wife wanted Baked Ziti. Pasta, tomato sauce and cheese. Something I would never order. She loved it. It is a soup and salad day. Minestrone and a house salad with the house Italian dressing, for me. Exceptionally fresh crisp salad and zesty dressing. The soup listed as cup size is a big cup. Very enjoyable meals. The ambiance, food quality and outstanding friendly service from Sandy combine to give Mondo's a five-star rating. It is such a nice comfortable, attractive restaurant it is cataloged in my favorites file. I like it!

Yelp
Well there's a reason this Italian place is ranked so high in all the magazines and newspapers... because it's simply the very best , yes better, than every other Italian restaurant in the state and it makes me remember my NYC Trips to Little Italy... Homemade Pasta and sauces, best chicken dishes, amazing clam chowder and ceasar salad... epic desserts! I promise you won't leave without a smile on your faces!

Yelp
We've lived in the area for over a year and we've never been to this place. Holy cow, what great food and service. My wife had spaghetti and meatballs with bolognese sauce and she said it was excellent. The portion size was huge and she took half of it home. I had the lasagna with bolognese sauce and the portion was almost twice the size of other Italian restaurants. It was one of the best lasagna dishes I've ever had. The dish also came with soup or salad and delicious garlic bread. We both had the clam chowder which was excellent. A great consistency and plentiful clam pieces. One of my favorites. We only eat Italian every 4-5 months, but this is our new go-to spot. The prices were more than reasonable and I left over full.

Yelp
Lots of people say this place has gone downhill since moving into the new, larger building. I haven't noticed a difference in food quality or quantity. The food seems to have stayed the same, and the pricing seems consistent, maybe with a slight insignificant increase recently. However, the service may not be what it once was, especially upstairs in the bar area. Lots of inexperience and servers in training, and it has taken longer to get food and drinks than it used to. But the food is still great, and I'll keep going back. The garlic bread is probably my favorite table bread in the city.

Yelp
Visiting from Southern California. What I LOVED about Mondo's was that I felt the great hospitality from the moment I walked in the door. We were greeted with huge smiles and seated immediately. Our server was Nichole. She was personable, knowledgeable about the menu and very accommodating. I ordered the Eggplant parmesan. It came with soup or salad and spaghetti (with a choice of meat sauce or marinara). It also comes with all the garlic bread we could eat. I loved that there were suggested wine parings for most dishes. The clam chowder that came with my meal was simply amazing! It had a hint of nutmeg and was PACKED with clams. Two of us ordered LITs (Long Island Ice Teas). The food was delicious and the portions were HUGE. The cocktails were severely lacking in, well, alcohol. They tasted kinda like watered-down lemonade. That's the only reason for a star being taken away. We were part of the early dinner crowd. I loved the family friendliness of this place and it was obviously packed for a reason. The inside was dimly lit. But that added to the cozy feel of this well established restaurant. I do recommend Mondo's for dinner. But I think I would avoid ordering cocktails and just pick something from their wine list.

Yelp
Brought my fiance and our families to try Mondo's and they absolutely loved it. I've been a few times already so I'm still getting new things on the menu of course but I had to get them here. The wait was crazy because it was a busy night so that's a positive thing to know it's desired, aside of getting hangry during the wait. When we sat down the service was fast yet patient and orders were very timely. Ambiance was fantastic. I love when Italian restaurants feel as close to an authentic experience as possible.

Yelp
Food was great. Service was great. Ambience was great. Zero complaints. I would definitely go back!

Yelp
We took our friend to Mondo's for her birthday. The atmosphere is very fun and clean. Our waitress was very friendly, engaging attentive and helpful. Three of us had the eggplant parmigiana, one had it regular while two others had spaghetti with Alfredo on the side. They said the Alfredo was a bit lacking in flavor this time compared to our last visit: I had the garden pizza with jalapeños instead of green peppers, and our other friend had chicken Marsala pasta. We all enjoyed the complimentary garlic bread. Everyone enjoyed their dinner or salad or minestrone soup. They brought out a bowl of free Spumoni ice cream for the birthday. We had a great time and great meal.

Yelp
Had to run an errand to Brookside today with The Kid, and she wanted Mondo's for lunch. She had the spaghetti and meatball with house salad and I went for the lunch tagliatelli and bolognese sauce with a caesar salad. Service was impeccable, as always. I tried a bite of her plate and it was very good all around. The meatball could've used a tad more salt, but that's just my palate. Sauce was out of this world and the noodles cooked just right. It must've been good because she was cleaning up the plate with the last slices of bread. The tagliatelle was also really good. As with the spaghetti, it benefitted from a little more salt, but again, that's just me. Noodles were fresh made and cooked to the right doneness, and the bolognese was well executed. I was a little surprised at how light the bolognese was compared to others I've had. It wasn't overly rich and heavy, and left a really pleasant taste. The caesar salad was probably the best side caesar I've had in a long long time. Not one thing off about it at all. Overall, as good as it all was, it's amusingly just another trip to Mondo's, because they knock it out of the park each and every time.

Yelp
I need to start this review by discussing the reservation process... I'm from out of town and wanted to take my Italian grandpa here to try it. So I called a week out on a Friday early evening, and kept getting a busy line and then an answer and hang up. When I finally got through to a person, it was a rude guy who said they were too busy to take reservations and to call back in the afternoon. I called back the next day around 3pm and again some rude man tried to say they were too busy to take reservations... I explained that yesterday I got the same message... he then reluctantly made the reservation... quite annoying considering you can't make a reservation on open table or the website. However, fast forward to tonight.. This place was very busy, even for a Thursday. You need a reservation. Good luck getting one. Of course the food was very good. The service once inside was great, we had a reservation for 6 and at first we were sat at a small half circle booth and it was a tight squeeze so they made some arrangements and got us a bigger table. Unfortunately the rosé was one of the worst I have ever had. My cosmo wasn't the best, but the limoncello shots and the Italian margarita were both excellent. Best entree was the seafood by the sea pasta. Very fresh. The tiramisu was very good as well well.

Yelp
We celebrated a business dinner at Mondo's and overall I think everyone enjoyed the dinner, drinks & celebration. I had several pics of dishes of those that sat next to me and for the most part they all enjoyed. I didn't get pics of all the appetizers but they were really good! The Calamari once the lemon was squeezed on them were excellent. The Shrimp-Cargot was a pleasant surprise and would definitely order that one again. The Fried Ravioli was okay, again not to my liking. I chose the Seafood Alfredo - definitely not my favorite dish. The shrimp & scallops were cooked perfectly but the Alfredo Sauce I would definitely skip, it just wasn't for me. It seemed as if there was a hint of nutmeg in their sauce or what ever it was I disliked. I did not enjoy the bread with dinner or appetizers it was just too plain and didn't seem authentic. I think the best dish of the night was the Abruzzi by the Sea! If you're a seafood lover then this dish is for you. I've had this before and it really is fantastic. Another told me the Chicken Piccata was spot on! Someone else ordered the Manicotti dish but it seemed to be lost in the sauce. No one complained about the dessert and I think our group tried every one of them. The Tiramisu appeared to be the biggest winner! However, I chose the Limoncello and it was fantastic, light & lemony it was the perfect ending to the meal! Obviously we had several servers attending to our group and they did an excellent job. Of course with a large group the noise level was loud but it was a good time to celebrate with colleagues and business associates!

Yelp
Food was great. One thing, the chicken Alfredo is AMAZING. The salad was not my favorite, but other people liked theirs. The chicken Alfredo is creamy and smooth. Very cheesy. Service could've been better. But a very nice and quiet restaurant.

Yelp
Lunch on a busy Monday. It was our first time at the "new"' location, and it definitely feels less crammed there, while retaining the charm Of the previous location. Even with a rapidly filling up restaurant, the noise level was low and it was easy to maintain a conversation. The food was pretty good. I didn't necessarily love my Caesar salad with lemon, but it was fresh. The garlic bread was warm and soft and crunchy, and delicious. My husband really loved his dish and the ripe sausage was indeed a bit spicy! He particularly enjoyed the meatball as well. We both had chicken in our dishes, and while he loved his, I thought mine was a bit dry, The pomodoro otherwise was delicious. The tomatoes and the garlic blended well with the linguine, and it felt like a fresh bite. Our waitress was friendly, service overall was pretty slow. Even waiting for the check took longer than I expected. But we definitely will give this place another try.

Cheryn K.

Yelp
Food: exceptional, service: great, ambience: excellent! We've never had anything but a first rate experience here! It feels like an authentic Italian Restaurant you'd in Italy, New York or Chicago!
google avatar

Katie D.

Yelp
Mondo's is always a treat. They have such great ambiance. Our waitress was lovely and super helpful. We ordered a bottle of wine that was delicious. She told me that I could order the ravioli and have the garlic pesto cream sauce put on top of it as opposed to just meat sauce so that is what I got. The sauce was good but I was kind of disappointed with the ravioli. I've gotten these many times but these were just thick and kind of doughy and undercooked. I ate two out of three and brought the other one home but I probably won't finish it. I should probably have stuck with my regular tortellini al Forno but I thought I would switch it up. That's what I get! LOL
google avatar

Beverly R.

Yelp
Food was great! Italian sausage does have some spice to it but it's amazing if you like spicy! Portions are great for the price our meal was only $57 and that also includes a soup or salad with our entrees highly recommend this place! Pasta was cooked perfectly
google avatar

Yelp
I have been wanting to try this place for quite some time! We were basic starting off with calamari - it was the best I've ever had. Then I ordered the manicotti with a house salad. I had enough left over for lunch the next day. The sauce is homemade and I am craving it right now as I am typing this ..the hubbs ordered lasagna and it was amazing he said and of course my son ordered a pepperoni pizza and it was huge for a kids pizza. We will be coming back

Destiny N.

Yelp
Service was good, but the food was subpar. The sauce did not have much flavor. The atmosphere was really nice.
google avatar

Debra K.

Yelp
We walked in around 7:00 on a Thursday and had no issues getting a seat. I was initially a little sad that we got one of the two tops but we were right by the wine display, so it was a nice setting. Server was great. Kept glasses filled and bread basket full. (I love the bread.) We ordered Caesars, the manicotti with meat sauce and the penne alla vodka with pancetta and mushrooms. I loved that combo. We were stuffed (blame the bread basket) so we ordered Cannoli to go. There were great when we got home.

Yelp
Brought my hubby out for an early dinner at Mondo's. We hadn't been in some years and weren't aware they had moved...after going around and passing it twice we happily found the parking lot. We were seated quickly near the door after entering...my hubby has health problems and uses a cane to walk so I was very appreciative the young man that greeted us noticed immediately. The atmosphere is still so warm and welcoming inside...I love the lighting at our table giving us a nice intimate feel as we enjoyed each other's company. Further back is the bar which we could see from our table as well as the beautiful view of family photos, artifacts, wine and spirits along the walls. There was even black and white movie footage across from us of Laurel and Hardy playing while we ate. Our server was the sweetest and kindest young lady named Danielle. She checked on us often...promptly brought us every thing we asked for, and did it all wearing a cast!!! I was so impressed with Miss Danielle that I forgot to take photos of our dinners. We started with yummy cheesy Spinach and Artichoke Dip...Mmm!! My hubby ordered the Minestrone for a starter. He'd never had it before and he loved it!! His main meal was the Seafood Alfredo which looked and tasted amazing...the scallops and shrimp were sooo yummy. I ordered Clam Chowder and a Side Salad. The Clam Chowder was so good my hubby had to have some too. I enjoyed the Pasta Pomodoro with Blackened Chicken...Yes I will have this again!! So simple yet so tasty!!! I was glad I chose to take my hubby to this Italian treasure of a Ristorante...we missed coming to Mondo's and will definitely be back again! Hopefully we'll be able to say hello to Miss Danielle and thank her again for her kindness!!

Yelp
As much as we like Mondo's, today's visit was disappointing. We ordered a cheese & pepperoni pizza and a side salad. Toasted bread was brought to the table followed shortly by the salad. The bread was the only part of the meal that was good. The salad was so disappointing. It was not cold and it had a lot of brown and wilted greens. It should have never left the kitchen. The pizza was undercooked. The cheese was barely melted and the crust was more doughy than crusty. Not a pleasant meal at all. Our server was friendly and courteous.
google avatar

Kitty C.

Yelp
Minestrone soup here is not minestrone. It's just a vegetable soup. Kind of disappointing. Other than that everything was yummy!!
google avatar

Candace H.

Yelp
The food is great and nothing like those chain restaurants. The prices are a little high, but the servings are more than adequate. I was excited to try the new location but was a little underwhelmed. It feels a little cramped, but I did enjoy being able to see all of the family photos and history while waiting. Unfortunately, the service wasn't the best. Our waitress acted putout to serve us and it took a while to get our food. We went on a Saturday afternoon, so it wasn't busy. Considering the prices and the service, we might return once a year or so for a special occasion since the food was good, but that's probably it.
google avatar

Stephanie C.

Yelp
The pastas are absolutely incredible. Half Alfredo half red sauce is seriously the best thing ever. Service was a little slow, but the bar tender was friendly and drinks were tasty!
google avatar

Joanna M.

Yelp
There is a small parking lot around the restaurant, some street parking and another parking lot behind the restaurant. We walked in around 6pm mid week and got a table right away. The restaurant was pretty busy with people coming in to get tables. We were seated close to the bar, which was kind of nice because it was quieter back there and had only 3-5 tables. Our server took our order and checked in sporadically. The garlic bread was brought out with our salads. I liked the Caesar salad, the dressing was light but good. While gluten free pasta isn't noted on the menu, there is a gluten free pasta option. I got it with the 3 meat platter. The spicy sausage was good and I did like the meatball, I wasn't a big fan of the chicken. The spaghetti sauce was okay but honestly I had left overs today and I enjoyed my meal more today than I did at the restaurant last night.
google avatar

Desiree S.

Yelp
I love the chicken piccata!! It is my absolute favorite go-to. I always order for pick up the service is fast and I never have to wait for my food for more than 2 minutes. They also have the best garlic bread yummy and mouth watering!!

Yelp
We came in for my daughters birthday and it was her choice because she loves Mondo's! My wife and daughter are vegetarian so they were able to find some delicious options on the menu. I had the mushroom fettuccine Alfredo and it was delicious. We love this place my only complaint is the stairs we walk up and down being the same stairs they bring the food up to serve. Maybe a better design someday but other than that the food and atmosphere are lovely. I figured out the owner is from Ohio and I'm from Ohio so I now see why their Italian food tastes so good. If he wasn't a Browns fan everything would be even better

Jake P.

Yelp
We came here for a birthday dinner with 8 family and friends. Mondo's has been a staple for us throughout the years. We were put into a small room with a young kids birthday party and could barely hear each other speaking. I went to the host stand to ask to kindly be seated elsewhere so we could hear each other during our celebration. The hostess stand could not have been more rude telling us "you realize you're in a restaurant?" Just thought a good night out was something to value from a customer service perspective. Food has suffered as they have grown but I'm pretty disappointed in the staffs approach to this
google avatar

Tuan P.

Yelp
Mondo's a family owned and operated Italian restaurant since 1969 and has became one of the local favorites of Tulsa through the years. It's actually quite a nice place in Brookside. Parking is a little strange, as there are 2 fragmented parking lots, not connected to each other. The parking on the side is always full so you have to park at the other parking lot. There's an electrical tower separating the two parking lots. Lunch specials are fairly affordable and I prefer going here for lunch rather than dinner. Less entrees to choose from though but I don't mind as it is much cheaper. Service is great with great recommendations. I wanted a quick eat as I have to return to work. Got the manicotti with meat sauce which I've never had before. As you could tell by now, Italian is not something I eat very often. The food came out immediately, and on this particularly weekday, about the same speed as a fast food chain. I am not exaggerating and I have no idea how they're doing it. The dish is tasty and with the price, even better. Thank goodness for the marinara meat sauce, otherwise the cheese can be overwhelming. Each lunch entree comes with garlic bread and a salad. Salad is great, an instant favorite for me. Garlic bread is good as well. I haven't been to too many Italian restaurants in Tulsa but Mondo's is so far my favorite. I have to come back for dinner sometimes. Also, the staffs actually make small talks with you which I don't often see.

Yelp
Just wanted to post an update about all of the deliciousness!!! The Bolognese was amazing!!! The Shrimp Limone was everything I wanted it to be! No one really uses artichoke hearts to cook with anymore and I love them!!
google avatar

Bria G.

Yelp
Mondo's is hands down some of the best Italian we have ever had! The fried ravioli was delicious! The shrimp limone was one of the best meals I have ever had! Our server was wonderful gave us recommendations on what meals to try. If ever back in Tulsa, we will make it back to eat here!

Yelp
Staring from parking which was a really bad with two kids. As soon as we walked in we felt very uncomfortable with the way we were being treated. We were seated upstairs and waited for a while for service. When the order was finally taken it almost felt like we were being rushed and he didn't want to give us the take or day. After the food came not a single check in about if we needed anything or if the food was ok. The only time he came back was with our Togo boxes and the check. We had to ask for more boxes it felt like we were not welcomed at the place at all felt a bit racist. Won't be spending a dime in that place ever again. Food was not the best tasting either. Pizza crust was burnt tasted bitter. Pasta had no salt and the soup no way that was soup. The best thing was the bread.

Ed R.

Yelp
we were Mondo-ed. 15 10 year old girls in same separate room as us. could not hear person next to me. Food was sub Olive Garden level at 4 star pricing. never in my lifetime will I ever go back. offered free canoli I think we can all agree that we dine out for the food and the atmosphere. We were totally disappointed on both to the point we will NEVER go back. Oh BTW, Gambill's is better at half the price.

Yelp
I've been searching for an authentic and incredible Italian restaurant in Tulsa, and this is it! I loved the ambiance with the old photos on the walls and even black and white films being projected onto the walls. The menu was filled with great options, and the food came out very quick and hot. I loved my spaghetti and meatballs with a side of Caesar salad, and the portions were very generous! I'll definitely be going back!
google avatar

M R.

Yelp
Zio's for millennials. . . standard American interp of Italian food served big, rich and salty.
google avatar

Matt M.

Yelp
We love Mondos!! Food and service always great! Best spaghetti and meatballs in town!

Yelp
I came with my girlfriends for a Friday night out. First, I like the location, it's a very cute restaurant, however, parking is terrible. Our waiter was very unprofessional. He took our orders then someone brought out our salads and appetizers. I never got mine. They realized they brought it to the wrong table. The waiter got mad and said to a coworker, "those girls took someone else's salads", like it was our fault. They came back and told us there was a mix up and I got my salad, which was the worst Caesar salad I've ever had. The waiter came back and apologized to my girlfriend while I and another friend were in the bathroom. The food was okay. It was a very disappointing experience and I would not recommend.

Yelp
Knocks the pants off Olive Garden. If you are looking for some pretty good food with a nice atmosphere, maybe a date night, this might be the place. Several great menu options and fantastic service all around. We had a private party of 25 in the grotto, I would say that is the max amount of people you want to squeeze in that room. They do have parking in the back.
google avatar

Donna M.

Yelp
This was our first trip to Mondo's, we were excited to try it because we've heard such great things. We went on Friday night without reservations so we expected a wait. We checked in and were told the wait time and that we should come back in that time, which I found a little odd. I checked the bar downstairs but it was full; a nice server mentioned they had another bar upstairs so we checked it out and were seated right away. There were 3 bartenders servicing the entire upstairs so the service was so-so. We ordered the calamari appetizer, it was well seasoned and cooked well. We ordered our entrees and soups. The clam chowder was good but thick and not as seafood forward as you would expect. My husband enjoyed the minestrone. The linguini in the Abruzzo by the Sea was cooked perfectly but there was a lot of it. The tortellini was overly tender and the sauce was extremely thick, but it tasted good. We finished it with the limoncello cake which was delicious but a small serving for the price. The upstairs had a nice vibe with a good bar top, the downstairs seemed fairly cramped. All in all, it was good and we'd go back but it's not something we'd crave.

Yelp
When I tell you I haven't been to Olive Garden ever since I tasted Mondo's I mean it! Not only do they have bread and butter but they offer a house or Cesar salad We had the Hot Asiago spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer and it was 10/10! So cheesy and perfect amount of veggies with great crunchy toasted Italian crostinis also the bowl they bring it out in? So cute and so deep definitely worth every penny My boyfriend ordered the Fettuccine carbonara Mondo's style and he loved it , he's a big fan of mushrooms and Alfredo pasta so it was a big hit for him also the Italian spiced Capocollo ham was delicious 10/10 I ordered the creamy pesto pasta and it is amazing I love how fresh it tastes and the creamy sauce is always a win in my book 10/10 We also went another time got the same exact stuff except my boyfriend this time ordered the Pasta pomodoro and he said it was great, but he did say he enjoyed the Fettuccine carbonara Mondo's style more although he was trying something different for the experience and it was still very delightful 7.8/10 Overall service is nice food comes out at a reasonable time and the place is so nice, we've been multiple times and sat at complete different tables and somehow it always seems like a new experience based on where we sit. I definitely suggest you give it a try if you're a Italian lover looking for better alternatives to basic Olive Garden

Yelp
It was incredible, the food was absolutely amazing and we had great service. Just had to wait an hour because we didn't make a reservation.

We had not been to Mindi's since they moved. Big mistake! Beautiful place. Same good food. The service is excellent.

Yelp
If I had my own Italian restaurant, I would want it to be exactly like this. Mondo's's was over the top in service, atmosphere, and of course, phenomenal food.! We thought at 5 o'clock on Saturday would be ahead of the busy hour, but wrong! It was already packed! I ordered the eggplant parmigiana and it was absolutely delicious. I got a the house salad rather than the Caesar and it was so good! Had artichokes on it and great house dressing. Did I mention garlic bread? Let's just say you can raise your expectations on this crazy goodness! Will definitely be back

Yelp
We arrived on a Friday evening. There was an ungodly long wait and an unbending and unpleasant process of managing both parking and table assignments. We ordered an appetizer of cheese bread and were pleased with taste My wife was given the wrong dish. My manicotti was drowned in sauce. I got a side of meatballs and found tender and mildly flavored. I tried one small piece of my wife's rope sausage and had to drain my water glass because of the spice level. I ordered a NY cheesecake and was pleased by the flavors of both the cheesecake and the cherries. Neither too sweet or too tart the cherries were cooked in and in a mildly sweet sauce that cheesecake aesthetic perfectly.

Yelp
Mondo's could possibly be the most fraudulent fine dining Italian restaurant I've ever been to. I wouldn't be surprised if I saw them on an episode of kitchen nightmares one day. I've seen the manager at night yelling and being rude to customers. Even with reservations you're never seated upon arrival and the food is mid at best. The price doesn't reflect the quality. They're more concerned about how things look from the outside rather than running the business well from the inside. It's an absolute mess and I don't suggest coming here.

Yelp
So my girlfriend and I wanted to try this place out because it was referred to us on Veterans Day. First off the waitress was an old lady with white hair, extremely rude she acted like asking for anything was so difficult and made the server experience shit. I still tipped at the end of the meal because that's the right thing to do, however if you ask me she didn't deserve it. I asked for chicken parmigiana with Alfredo sauce instead. Let me tell you I am not a cook and this was by far the worst Alfredo pasta i have ever ate my entire life so bad that I took a bite gave a bite to my girl and we both agreed and moved the plate away from us.waitress came around and did not ask if we wanted something else. The chicken parmigiana wasn't that good, the chicken was soggy instead of being crispy like it should be. when I got the bill and I was paying for it I kindly asked the waitress if there were any veteran discounts considering it's Veterans Day and many many places are giving food away as a reward or just discounting food. The lady told me I'll give it to my manager she comes back with a 3% discount. I swear as a veteran this was a tough pill to swallow, I'm not one to beg and it was even hard of me asking for the discount but to see a 3% deduction from the total bill almost made me just get up and not pay for anything. The least I ever seen for a discount was 10% anywhere I've gotten and asked so I couldn't believe that knowing that other restaurants were giving away free food this place wouldn't even give away at least 5%. I can gladly say I will never go back to that establishment.
