Came for Mongtan’s legendary U-Dae Galbi (beef short rib) and really enjoyed it. The meat was tender, fragrant, and flavorful, cooked sizzling hot at the table.
There was a great variety of banchan, especially the frozen radish. We also ordered the truffle-infused steamed egg, which was rich and generous with truffle.
Tip: Go early. We arrived at 4:15pm and walked straight in. By the time we left, a queue had built up — waits can be up to 2 hours.
Would definitely come back again.
