Greektown Casino’s Monroe Market and Noodle Art Restaurant Open on May 1 | Eater Detroit

"On the third floor of Greektown Casino-Hotel, I saw Monroe Market, an 11,000-square-foot, food-hall–style dining space that opened May 1 after a $15 million renovation replacing the former Market District. The space, designed by Rossetti Associates, houses six fast-casual counters, communal seating, themed food stalls, and a 280-square-foot living wall with a video screen; unlike a traditional food hall, each of the restaurants was developed and will be operated by casino staff rather than leased to outside vendors. Ordering is handled primarily via touch-screen kiosks and a mobile app that even lets gamblers use casino meal comps at the electronic kiosks, and patrons can expect everything from fried chicken to gelato and barbecue brisket." - Brenna Houck

Great place to shop for your fresh produce and other items. They have a little of everything you need and some you don't, but good to get. Highly recommend this place.

Nice little farmers market located in the town of Monroe. People very helpful and prices are good. Definitely farm fresh as we bought 12 small peaches. They were crunchy, sweet, and a little tart. We ate all 12 peaches by 4PM.

The farmers Market is now open at 9:30 AM for the summer hours it’s directly across from JS Clark Elementary school it’s their seasonal grand opening. I normally stop by when I get off work at 7 AM as I’m a fan of fresh fruits and veggies. I wish there was more of a selection and more samples offered.

Wide variety of home-made products and produce with much fair prices compared to West Monroe market. I bought a bag of 6 tomatoes for $1 and several sweet peppers for $2.

🍅🌶🍆Great selection of locally grown vegetables! Must see Norma & Charles Spillers! Their tomatoes are fabulous. They also have eggplant, squash, new potatoes, snap beans & hot pepper🍅

Fairly new to this state and I am continually amazed that the greed is all over, especially food. Almost anything can be grown here.I relocated from SW U.S. where food is not grown. More expensive here? Food isn't the only expensive item its everything or anything. GREED is the HOLY GRAIL here. View point from outside Louisiana. I guess you can accept any condition as normal which I realize most here do. From food to any retailer it is plain out GREED! I can see why the need of a church on every corner will not help. It's not the church but the bank people worship in. 14$ for a watermelon? 10$ for 1lb Lima beans over 4$ 3 tomatoes? Retires here thinking of a fair moral part of America WRONG! Needless to say I made a mistake in my decision.Which I will correct soon. I will leave you highly religious people to your GREED. I don't agree with your brand of good and fair dealings with your fellow man. I guess everyone is competing with Duck Dynasty? My advice to consumers in this state (BUYER BEWARE)!!!!

I try to buy items in Bastrop at Farmer Market but none would accept coupons, so went to Monroe Farmer Market. Tremendous vegetables. Do better Morehouse Farmer's Market.

Beautiful home grown produce, clean and safe area. Much more so than the competition. Been going there forever, and we especially like the Holley's, the Spillers and Elzifer White.
